I’m sharing this story of my two year journey from uncertainty and fears to a hard worked path to total success and great health again all thanks to the brilliance of Dr. Samadi.After a woeful handling from another Urologist, I knew I needed someone above and beyond. I remember seeing Dr.Samadi as a guest on the Fox News Sunday House Call previously and thought I would take a chance hoping someone of his status would be available. I submitted an on line appointment request. Within 15 minutes, I was contacted by one of his assistants who went through a few short questions. She than asked if Dr.Samadi may speak with me. Wow,! He arranged a time slot to get me in the following morning to his Madison Ave office. Upon walking in, I was greeted with friendly faces, not so common these days. I was called in and Dr.Samadi spoke to me in great but easy to understand details on how he wants to go forward treating me. My Gleason score was high at 9 and knew that time was not exactly on my side. His demeanor instantly gave me the comfort I had not experienced since the diagnosis. Without hesitation I agreed to the robotic prostatectomy, a procedure he is World Class at performing. Prior to leaving his office, he put his hand on my shoulder and told me to go home and tell my wife we are gonna live a long life together. ‘I’m in charge’ was his comment. And boy oh boy did that feel great. He was honest and said it was going to be sone work but we’ll get through it. This was all just prior to the hospitals in NY shutting down fir elective surgeries and suddenly I was wishing time away so I don’t get shut out. Dr.Samadi worked at a fever pitch to get his patients the treatments they needed those final days. He met my wife in the lobby prior to my surgery and also comforted her and have her the confidence to head home and relax. Dr.Samadi’s prep tramways nothing short of outstanding. I remained overnight and was discharged the following afternoon. I did suffer three muscle spasms , excruciating but anticipated, but once they passed, it was all arrows up. My PSA did go up slightly on my second blood test. While he told me not to be alarmed he suggested staying aggressive which I had no issue with. I was give a monthly injection of Lupron and did a few weeks later go for 8 weeks of successful radiation treatments. I now have gone 24 straight months with a PSA score of 0! I go to the office quarterly for blood tests at this point. On a side note, I texted Dr.Samadi, who is easy to speak with, and told him if a pain I was feeling not knowing if it might be related. He immediately ordered a CT Scan, which showed gallstones. Dr.Samadi put me in touch with one of his colleagues, Dr.Gary Gecelter who saw me two days later in the same Madison Ave office he is at whole Dr.Samadi treats his patients at his convenient Long Island office. I was scheduled quickly and had another successful surgery and it’s also comforting to know he is connected to so many top of the line Doctors and Surgeons.So, here we are two years later and one of the worst periods of my life is behind me thanks to this World Class Doctor and great human being. Dr.Samadi takes great pride in helping to heal others as I see it even as he speaks with other clients.My family and of course I will be forever indebted to you for saving my life. As a child, your dad is always your superhero. My dad has always been my Superman, protecting, strong, and invincible! So, one could only imagine the devastation in learning that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I vowed to get him the best care on earth. We weighed his options, ultimately deciding on surgery. Upon doing my due diligence in research, I learned of Dr. Samadi’s world renowned expertise in robotic surgery. I quickly called for a consultation. We found Dr. Samadi and his staff to be delightfully warm, compassionate, patient, and humble (qualities not expected in someone of his caliber ). Dr. Samadi and his staff have been outstanding throughout my husbands diagnosis, surgery and follow up visits. Dr. Samadi always takes the time to answer all our questions and offers us a direct line to call should we have any other questions and concerns between appointments. In 2016 I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer, with a gleason 9 and a 18 PSA, I wasbesides myself as I didn’t have any symptoms and felt very healthy. Before speaking with Dr.David Samadi, I was referred to two surgeons who basically spoke to me about statistic, and toldme they would do what he could, but being my numbers were so high, no guarantees. At thesecond consult with a surgeon, I was showed survival rates based on my gleason and PSA, thisdoctor, again gave me the “I cant promise” he did not have the best bed side manner. Drivinghome from that appointment my wife and I were silent, just scared to think what was next. Mythen 23 year old son, was calling to see what the surgeon had to say, and not thinking, I blurt out“no guarantees,” probably not the best idea. My son got very emotional, and started screaming‘No” and out of anger, punched his fist thru the glass front door, bad temper. We are now rushinghome to get him to St. Frances ER, this is where we met a very nice plastic surgeon who askedhow this happened, we begin to tell our story, and he tells us, “Don’t worry, I have a friend whowill be able to help you, he is the best”, and gives us the name of Dr. Samadi.The next day we called his office, and got an appointment for 7am, the folowing day. When Iarrived for the appointment I was greeted by Dr. David Samadi, he was very soft spoken, andafter talking to me and reviewing my records, he calmly said, “don’t worry, I can make you greatagain. It actually brought tears to my eyes, I left there feeling hope, and believed I could be greatagain. 5 years later, I’mhere to tell my story, as Dr. Samadi saved my life! I continue to see Dr.Samadi every 3 months, and I feel wonderful! It may have been faith that brought me to Dr.David Samadi that day, I highly recommend himto anyone who may have been feeling like methat day.

I came to Dr Samadi after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. My biopsy was on 1/19/2021. I had a video conference with Dr Samadi who reinforced my previous Doctors opinions that I should have my prostate removed. I sought out opinions from a lot of facilities-Mayo, UCLA, NYU, Sloan-Kettering ectFrom the beginning, Dr Samadi was caring about my condition. He assured my that his methodology would help me retain my quality of life. I am 59 years old, so this was a huge factor for me. I definitely want to live, but incontinence would adversely affect my professional life. And ED would of course affect my personal life.As I write this, I am 3 weeks post surgery. I have minimal incontinence, and was very surprised to experience a slight erection this weekend. To sum it up-I feel good.I cannot say enough about Dr Samadis competence. More importantly, he genuinely cares about his patients. I have texted him many times with silly concerns post op. Dr Samadi was always quick to return my text. Any time of day or day of the week. I dont know when he sleeps!Dr Samadis staff is amazing. They let me know exactly how to prepare for my procedure, and were quick to answer my questions as they arose. The best urologist, the best staff ! Dr. Samadi is an expert surgeon with extensive experience for treating even the most complicated cases of prostate cancer. You should request for his opinion before you make a decision about your prostate cancer. I am writing this testimonial out of respect to those who preceded me in prostate cancer treatment and who unselfishly shared their experiences in dealing with this disease. It was the recommendations contained within these testimonials that led me to an exceptional surgeon, Dr. David Samadi.During an annual physical in 2014, I was informed that I had an elevated PSA level of 3.7 and was referred to Urology for consultation. At 52 years of age, the Urologist was not concerned about the elevated PSA and indicated that we would use the PSA result as a baseline for subsequent comparative analysis. During the next three years, my family physician continued to monitor my PSA level with only a slight increase in the results. At the advise of my daughter, a gifted and experienced physician assistant, I submitted to an advanced 4K blood test profile that reflected an increase in my PSA level to 4.5. Consequently, she insisted that I submit to a prostate biopsy. I immediately contacted my Urologist and scheduled the procedure.During December 2017, I learned that the biopsy pathology report came back positive for prostate cancer and I was given my treatment options. After consulting with my family, I opted to submit to a radical prostatectomy.By the grace of God, and the diligent research done by my wife, we contacted Dr. David Samadi’s office in New York City. His staff was very receptive and extremely helpful. They worked tirelessly to secure the medical documentation and test results needed to schedule a surgical consult. As a result of their coordinated efforts, I received a telephone call from Dr. Samadi himself within 48 hours of contacting his office. Dr. Samadi had already evaluated my case, discussed the procedure in detail and added me to his surgical schedule. Dr. Samadi’s reassurance, and his concern for my well-being, alleviated my fears and was extremely helpful during this very difficult period.I flew to New York in January 2018 and was seen by Dr. Samadi in his office the day prior to the scheduled surgical procedure. You are probably reading this review because you received some sobering news that you have prostrate cancer. That is how I first found Dr. Samadi, searching terms like “Best Prostrate Surgeon” etc. I am 53 live in Staten Island and was fortunate enough to live close to Dr. Samadi’s office. I had my surgery on August 28th of 2020. It is now almost 6 months later and going to Dr. Samadi was one of the best decisions I made for my health. I am cancer free and back to a FULL normal life. I did tons of research, cyberknife etc. went for multiple opinions etc talked to countless people who had the surgery some successful some not. His professional care for me, and his surgery on me were so far beyond what I have experienced elsewhere, I really have a hard time expressing things here.I dont want to sound like a Lemming, and the few single-star ratings seem to tell the story too; that they are outliers! I guess there has to be a few people that feel he is not what so many others say he is, but for me.... he conducted himself as a very compassionate healer, and his surgical skills finished the portrait of a Good Doctor.All I can say is what I have experienced... I have seen several doctors for my issue, and NONE were as caring, thorough, delicate, and skilled as this man.WAIT! Tell me this.... when was the last time a doctor gave you his personal cell number, and responded when you called him? If that doesnt separate this guy from others,... I have more! Dr Samadi is a true profesional in all sense of the word. Dr Samadi recently perform a Button turp procedure on me. This procedure has helped me in many ways because prior to the surgery I’ve been having recurrent urinary tract infections, Dr Samadi suggested to me that this surgery was necessary to relieve these infections and to feel better. Dr Samadi has helped me regain confidence in myself and in my overall health. I feel grateful to have Dr David Samadi as my Urologist apart from being an exceptional Urologist he is also an exceptional human being who truly cares about his patients

My husband is a retired Army veteran and had his robotic prostatectomy surgery performed by Dr. Samadi a few weeks ago. During the entire process Dr. Samadi demonstrated compassion and genuine concern before and after my husbands surgery. As a spouse, that was comforting to know. I greatly appreciated how Dr. Samadis took the time to speak with us both regarding my husbands procedure and as soon he was finished with my husbands surgery, he immediately called me on the phone to let me know everything went well. The decision to chose a doctor can be stressful decision and as spouse both my husband spent a countless number of hours discussing our options and different scenarios and in the end it was a no brainer . There are not enough stars for Dr Samadi’s review. I am a 43 year old male, and I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in late October. Dr. Samadi came very highly recommended by a colleague. I saw him right after my biopsy diagnosis, and he said we need to act fast. By early December i had the robotic surgery. It could not have gone smoother. Minimal pain, was walking the same day, and most importantly the cancer was gone. After about 8 weeks I was back to working out, running, really no limitations. I would recommend Dr Samadi to anyone dealing with prostate cancer. I cant say THANK YOU enough, or even put into words, how everyone within Dr Samadi’s group, (office staff, nurses, hospital staff, and of course DR Samadi himself) helped me through this. Dr Samadi’s only concern was getting me cancer free and having the same quality of life in the process. I lost my Father to this disease (he was only in his 50’s), and I have 3 children of my own. My experience with Dr. Samadi as well as all his staff has been first class. From our very first meeting, Dr. Samadi was very informative, answering all my questions, and the staff at Lenox Hill Hospital were amazing. I cant say enough good things how fantastic my experience was.I’m 65 years old and was diagnosed with Gleason 7 (3+4) prostate cancer.I had the option of various Radiation treatments or removal of the prostate. After reading about radiation and despite several Doctors recommending it, I decided radiation was not an option for me. Logically radiation did not make any sense, this is my take and you can read all available information on the Web and talk to experts and make your own decision.I was searching for a Surgeon with the best expertise to do the job, in other words a professional in the field with a passionate, caring attitude, and genuine interest in providing care.The key to professionalism in any field is simply a matter of practicing a task many times over, simply put I learned that Dr. Samadi performed over 7000 procedures, at the average rate of minimum 2.5 hours each case, this is a lot of practice. Dr Samadi is very skilled at robotic assisted surgery . I have been a patient of Dr Samadi since 2010. I am now 61 yrs old and enjoying my life to the fullest.I had surgery for benign prostrate enlargement 6 yrs ago. I will make this as brief as possible. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer during 8-2016 and my wife and I were in a state of panic not knowing what to do. At that time, my urologist, a very experienced doctor, had recommended surgery to have the prostate removed. After some research, and within one week, we were in Dr. Samadis office. He spoke with us, and after reviewing the biopsy report, Dr. Samadi said I can help, well remove the prostate and the cancer. He was very reassuring and confident which provided the hope we needed. Within one week of our meeting with Dr. Samadi, still during 8-2016, he performed robotic surgery and removed my prostate along with the cancer. He did exactly what he said he would do. I went to two Doctors before meeting Dr SHAMDI. I was first diagnosed with the an enginal hernia and hydrocele leak which was wrong. I then went for a second opinion. The second Dr said I could live with this problem and I was heart broken for a year. Thank God I decided to see the best. I just had the operation and Im 100× better. never give up! Every day is Dr. Samadi Day in our home. We will never forget this mans first words to us December 30, 2015 - I will help you. A phone call came a couple days later to speak with us and assure us that we were headed for a good New Year in 2016. I told Dr. Samadi that two things come to mind when we think of him: Robert Frosts The Road Less Travelled (glad we took the one less traveled - from a small town in Pennsylvania to a caring, dedicated doctor in NYC. (It would have been easier to take the more travelled road, but I doubt the results would have been the same) and Alabamas beautiful song - Angels Among Us.I believe there are angels among us sent to down to us from somewhere up above. They come to you and me in our darkest hours ... These words describe this man. He is truly a healing angel!When I tell people of our experience, they find it unbelievable. No one knows another doctor such as this one. Doctor Samadi performed the surgery on February 10 of 2016 and six weeks later we were on a flight to St. Johns in the Virgin Islands. My husband had no post surgical problems because he followed the office instructions both pre and post surgery. It has taken me a while to write this review because I have tried many times, and have gotten quite emotional while doing so. Nevertheless, I did not want too much time to pass before I share my familys experience with Dr. Samadi and his entire team. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, and had his surgery in September. The day Dr. Samadi told us I was extremely distraught, but he placed his hand over mine and said we will beat this. The women in the office hugged me and called my dad regularly to check on him and me. They understood that there is a great deal of emotional work when you are responsible for someones health, and I cannot express how grateful I am for their support. The day of my dads surgery Dr. Samadis entire team spoke to my dad and I. They were professional, but also down to earth, and patient while I asked my questions. Dr. Samadi came to see us before the surgery, and he called me after, and then came to visit me in my dads room after that. It was just a five star experience all the way. Doctors who are skilled and emotionally available are rare. That is the culture Dr. Samadi (and his entire team) have created. My dad is still engaged in follow up care, and every time we visit the office its like visiting family. In fact, that is what they have become. Id tell anybody, Dr. Samadi and his team are the best. I was 43 years old when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My primary doctor referred me to a urologist near me. The urologist recommended surgery. Would have given him 10 stars if that was possible. From beginning to end, Dr. Samadi and team were compassionate, caring and focused on achieving the best outcome possible. I came in from out of the area and Dr. Samadi even did a weekend consultation with me over the phone (and he had offered to Skype).It is now 10 weeks since my surgery and I am fully recovered with undetectable PSA. My cancer was near the nerves but Dr. Samadi through his SMART technique managed to somehow remove the cancer without causing any of the side effects which are associated with nerve damage.We did significant research before selecting Dr. Samadi and at the end selected him because other prostate cancer surgeons recommended him the most and because he does the entire procedure from end to end. His attention to every detail is incredible, and the recovery experience in a private wing of Lennox Hill hospital is the best place I can imagine post-surgery.I greatly appreciate the efforts of Dr. Samadi and his entire team, and could not recommend them more highly.

It is two years since Dr David Samadi performed my radical prostatectomy. At the time I was stunned at seemingly effortless ease with which the procedure was conducted and the speed of my recovery. I was amazed that such a skilled surgeon was also such a humble compassionate and thoughtful person. I was back at work in two weeks, cycling 50+ miles a day in 3 months. I have been 100% recovered for a long time now and recently had my 2 year check up confirming I was still cancer free.I have since come to realize that such results do not come easily. Luckily I found Dr. Samadi, he and his staff are so friendly, he has done over 6,000 robotic procedures, and yes he is the real deal! Both my wife and I knew right away I would be fortunate to have him and all his experience. I had cancelled the radiologist appointment at the VA as I knew I wanted to get the cancer out and not risk problems down the road. We went to Lennox Hill Hospital April 2014 and everything went just as planned and they even have a special wing for his patients. Wow, I thought I had entered a 5 start hotel. Dr. Samdia has a hand picked staff and everyone treated us like family Just as he said there might be more PC than what the biopsies indicated. Gleason score 7 (now 4+3) 52% of the prostate had cancer T-2, but it was all contained. My PSA a week after surgery was 0.00 and it has stayed that way thanks to Dr. Samadi, who keeps a close eye on me. We acted just in time and waiting would only make matters worse. Dr. Samadi also has the latest diagnostic tool UroNav an MRI guided biopsy which is much more accurate. He always gets back to you if you have any questions.There is no doubt there is no finer person and surgeon anywhere than Dr. David B. Samadi. If you are fortunate enough to have found him do not hesitate to go see him. He is world renowned but down to earth and he can save your life! He is a true gentleman. Twelve years ago we met Dr. Samadi because my husband Domenico had prostate cancer. From the first moment he made the decission that he will be the surgeon for his procedure. I recently saw Dr. Samadi for acute urinary retention due to BPH and a very enlarge prostate. I had seen two other urologists who had suggested either robotic surgery or a more invasive open surgical prostatectomy. Unfortunately, I had a Foley catheter in for several weeks while seeking a proper direction of care. Since my prostate was very enlarged, over 162 gr., neither felt comfortable with a less invasive laser Button TURP procedure. Consulting Dr. Samadi was a worthwhile decision as he assured me he could handle such a large prostate and remove as much as possible during the procedure under general anesthesia. I was admitted to Lenox Hill and all went very well and according to his plan. He was spot on in explaining the procedure, post op care and what to expect. His wing at LH provides the best possible hospital experience, and the nursing care is superb. I am thankful that all was benign and everything has turned out so well. Thank you Dr. Samadi and staff for helping me return to a normal regimen.
R. Samadi is an exceptional physician and surgeon. I am an executive in the health care field and can recognize high competence when I see it. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has any urological issues especially if dealing with prostate cancer and contemplating robotic surgery.He saved my husbands life twice. The first time he performed robotic surgery due to prostate cancer and my husband came out perfect from the surgery. He did not experience urination nor sexual dysfunction issues.My husband has been going for regular check ups ever since. This year my husband skipped a visit which was due in May and received a call to go for a check up. We were due to leave for Europe in a few days and my husband responded that he would go after our return. Dr Samadi insisted that he come for his yearly check up and rearranged his schedule to accommodate him within a few days in spite of his heavy patient load. Upon the visit blood was found in my husbands urine, he had a very large stone that was causing his urine to back-flow into his blood stream. Had we gone on vacation, my husband could have died due to toxicity caused by the back-flow of urine in his blood.To ensure that we would not cancel our vacation, Dr. Samadi gathered a surgical team within 2 days and opened the operating room on a Saturday to accommodate my husband. He told us he had not performed surgery on a Saturday in a very long time. After reading many negative comments I fully disagree with those who state that Dr. Samadi is all about money. I think he makes a good living and does not need to come in on his day off to accommodate a patient whose insurance is of a normal fee. I think he is genuine and truly cares about his patients. He is also a guru and a pioneer on robotic surgery. He is known internationally and has appeared as a physician consultant for Fox news.He has exceptional bedside manners and is an outstanding physician.

May you never need to face a horror of nature, when one is diagnosed with cancer its like a death sentence. But at the same time I think God is kind enough to grant us a second chance to life. My dearest uncle that is very very close to my heart got diagnosed with a very aggressive prostate cancer.After a lot of research and studying we chose Dr. David Samadi, and he gave my uncle a second chance of life. Dr. Samadi spent a lot of time explaining the aggressiveness of the nature of the cancer. He also gave us other options, like radiation, and cyber knife, other than surgery. He baby sat my uncle throughout the whole process, like his own family members.Dr. Samadi showed a lot of emotions and compassion, he even gave his own personal cell phone to my aunt, and I remember my aunt calling him many times on his cell phone in the middle of the night. Ive never seen any other doctor whom would give his personal cell phone to a patient.When we went to walk him into the surgery room doctor Samadi showed up with a very calm smile, he held onto my Aunts hand and said, I will bring him back better than how he is going in. It was like a dream, very fast, very emotional, and heart stopping. Although it was a rigorous cancer a year and a half later my uncle is doing fantastic. My uncle stayed at the hospital after the surgery with us for only one night. We were so shocked, we were treated like royalty in a 5 star hotel, they even have their own personal chef. After the surgery Dr. Samadi came to visit us many, many times to see how my uncle was doing. He joked and laughed with us, we couldnt believe a cancer surgeon would have such a great sense of humor. Our experience overall was just fantastic with him, we will always be grateful to Dr. David Samadi.
After dealing with BPS for 10 years, I am only 56 now, I wanted to find a new DR. After being referred to Dr Samadi, I knew I had found the right Dr. During our 1st meeting he made it clear he would not prescribe 1 med until he knew what we were dealing with. After some testing, it was determined no medicine would help me get better. I had TURP surgery on Monday and all of my trepidations were put to bed and I went through my recovery. We travelled from Pittsburgh, Pa to New York City for Dr. Samadi and we are so thankful that we did. I had an elevated psa and a biopsy showing 2 out of 12 core samples were cancerous and a Gleason score of 6. I met with 2 surgeons in Pittsburgh, and was told to figure a year of urine incontinence and 18 months of sexual dysfunction after having my prostate removed robotically. And that was nerve sparing surgery. I am 49 years old. I did not want that for the rest of my life We found Dr. Samadi by accident. We called and got a consultation 2 weeks later and after meeting Dr. Samadi in person, we knew that he was the surgeon for me! His reputation is phenomenal! Dr. Samadi removed my prostate on Oct. 8, 2018, and everything has been great! I returned to work, 4 weeks later, I hunted bear at 6 weeks post-op, and had my follow-up bloodwork at 6 weeks and my psa levels were at zero-which is exactly where they want it to be. I have complete control of my urine and do not have any problems with sexual function. The biopsy of my prostate after surgery, did show more cancer. My Gleason score was actually a 7, instead of the 6, that the original biopsy had shown. If you have this problem, DO NOT settle for any other surgeon...drive, fly or crawl to Manhatten and have Dr. Samadi, as your surgeon!! I could not be any happier with the results that I have gotten!

The day my father informed us that he is diagnosed with prostate cancer, the whole family felt in shock. He was regularly exercising, eating healthy, and living a happy life. As the oldest daughter, I was supposed to be the calm one, in control, but its all so different when someone so close to you is diagnosed with cancer. But I knew there is no time for sorrow, and started searching for the best physician and treatment.After two weeks of searching and consulting with different physicians, I was totally confused and overloaded with a huge amount of contradictory information. I needed a caring physician to give us full information about prostate-cancer treatment options, walk us through all steps, and inform us about the pre and post treatments.A friend recommended me to contact Dr. David B. Leaving his office after the first appointment with a peace of mind was a very relieving feeling.The robotic treatment was incredible and regardless of the few downsides it has, in six months my father was pretty much back to normal and cancer-free life. After being diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in May of 2017 I immediately started researching my condition which spanned a six month period. This included improving my comprehensive understanding of the disease, leveraging all available resources to interpret my specific stage of cancer, identifying the pros / cons of all options available and identifying the top specialists in each of the treatments available. Prepared with my questions I met multiple times with leading Prostate Cancer specialists in the New York Metro area. Although I received very conflicting advise, a number of the surgeons recommend Active Surveillance, I decided to undergo a Robotic Prostatectomy by Dr. Samadi using his proprietary SMART Technique. My surgery was performed in mid-December, 2017 and my recovery was remarkable and matched the expectations set by Dr. Samadi and his staff. On 01/14/13, Dr. Samadi removed my prostate with a Gleason score of 7 (4+3) stage pT3aNOMx. Focus suspicious for lymphatic infiltration of tumor.The tumor focally also extended beyond the prostatic pseudo capsule.Thank god I came to this GREAT doctor.After fist interview i had with him and his staff, I knew I had come to the best Doctor i could find in New York. He was kind,courteous, professional and most of all compassionate. He did exactly what he promises me he would do and that few doctors could do:-Fast and almost painless recovery,-Nine months later my PSA is still undetectable.- In two months post surgery,I was pad free,-and my sex life is improving every day.Within a minute after he finished my surgery,( one hour long) he went to the waiting room to tell my daughter and wife that he gave me all he had a not to worry every thing would be OK.Thanks to this wonderful Doctor i now have a second chance to the quality of life i now have. A friend referred me to Dr. Samadi, the best surgeon using the Da Vinci System for prostate removal.He told me to relax and that everything was going to be fineHe and his team were very professional and they explained to me all the nuances of the operation and all the steps for a complete recovery.His confidence, caring and the amount of time that he spend with me reassured me of a positive outcome.10 years later, i am cancer free and i do not have any incontinence or sexual impotence.On a recent check up he noticed blood in my urine and immediately sent me for a cat scan.i was diagnosed with kidney stone and since i was leaving for Europe in the next few days, he operated on me on Saturday, his regular day off to make sure that i could still make my European trip and be worry free.Dr. Samadi and his team have truly been Godsend to me.I will forever be indebted to him for all that he has done for me.I would highly recommend him....Angelo Santoro

Its something, star ratings, wow. And yet only five. I am a 46 yr old who had pefect psa 1.9 each physical. I found low t and decided to bring it up to normal. When i did it spiked, psa to 6.9, cancer and gleason 9 bad. My sister found Dr Samadi. There are many doctors in the world but none better. He is blessed with a special gift and puts everyone before himself. He performs mericals everyday and it comes from his heart. Its like when you get blessed to meet him he becomes a part of you. You are touched by such a caring heart warming humble gifted person that would do everything in his soul to help you. he has done so much to help me and my family and so many others, and is a special part of our lives especially mine because he SAVED MY LIFE AND I WILL LOVE HIM FOREVER FOR THAT. In the middle of a pandemic and while cases are increasing in New York, Dr. Samadi and his receptionists are not wearing masks. When asked if they should be wearing masks, they informed me that they are supposed to; however, no masks were put on. Many patients in the waiting room are older and wearing protective gear.What a thoughtless and insensitive practice.
I had robot prostatectomy on 10/15/15 with Dr Samadi. As soon as my catheter was removed I was advised to use pads. I ‘ve used one between the clinic and my hotel in NYC (Im brazilian). Not even one more. Im completely dry. Im 56 and in pretty good shape. My biggest concern before the surgery was about sexual potency outcome. My doctor told me to start taking cialis 48h after catheter removal.Well, 24 hours before that I was playing around and having sex with my wife ( I was oriented not to do so...). Of course it wasn’t a 100% erection. I would say it was like 75%. Now, one week latter, Im having 90/100% erections without taking any cialis - as I never use to do before the procedure. I feel very very happy. And Im taking the time to write this down only to share with all man searching for information that incontinency and impotency is not necessarily an outcome of RP. 2022-09-22Doctor Samadi truly saved my life. I live in Maryland and travel twice a year to NYC for my check up. It has been over 8 years since my surgery and have been cancer free. He is truly talented and very compassionate, he is not just my doctor but is like part of my family. The staff is wonderful and very educated. Definitely 5 stars if I could rate more I would!

2022-06-09I am forever grateful to Dr. Samadi for the care and professionalism he showed me. I had a very enlarged prostate that was controlling everything I did and tremendously interfering with my everyday life. My wife and I searched online and found a ton of excellent reviews for Dr. Samadi and decided to schedule an appointment. Dr. Samadi was able to evaluate my situation and come up with a plan on that very first visit. Since I was traveling shortly after that visit, Dr. Samadi, his assistant Ann and the rest of his amazing staff moved heaven and earth to get my procedure scheduled in a matter of days. Dr. Samadi was extremely caring and compassionate with me and with my wife as well. He directly and professionally answered every question we had and made sure that we understood everything and that we felt comfortable. The procedure was a great success and I am feeling better than I have in a very long time. I feel like I have my life back! I am extremely thankful to have met Dr. Samadi and I highly recommend him.

2022-06-23Dr. Samadi gave me great care when he performed my prostecamy. This surgery took place 4 1/2 years ago. Dr. Samadi called me and conferred with me prior to surgery. He and his staff walked me through all of the testing that I needed to have completed before surgergy( I was coming 1000 miles). Everything that he told me about the procedure and recovery was very accurate. Basically no side effects after 2-3 months. Dr. Samadi and I exchange texts each time I have follow up visits with my local urologist. I am very thankful that I was led to Dr. Samadi.

2022-04-21I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer in August 2021. I traveled out of state to meet with Dr. Samadi in September 2021 to discuss my options. He recommended having a robotic nerve sparing proctectomy. Dr. Samadi performed my surgery in November 2021. The surgery went great, as I now have undetectable PSA and no side effects.This was truly the best decision I have ever made, and would highly recommend Dr. Samadi to any man diagnosed with prostate cancer.
