Great experience , very professional , my car was sitting in a shop for a month before i moved it to DR.JACKS and that was the best decision I’ve ever made ! Got my car back in two weeks they definitely have a valued customer in me ! Great service
I went to Dr. Jacks based on the awesome reviews given from many customers. I was tired of getting fooled by other mechanic shops and their dishonesty, So I called one day and spoke to Richie. I was explaining to Richie the bad experience I had with a shop on my VW and how this guy botched up a clock-spring I needed replaced. Richie knew exactly what I needed and was honest enough to tell me to bring it back to the original mechanic, get my money back and he will help me after that. Im so happy I decided to call Dr. Jacks. There are not many mechanic shops who are honest with customers these days, labor rates are not over the top and you cant get better than that!

Dropped off the car at 10am for an oil change and an inspection at the Grand Ave locale right next to the Bellmore firehouse. Went to Mediterranean Diner right down the block for delicious breakfast while we waited. Rich texted at 11:02 that the car was ready. Quick and reasonably priced.
Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust but this place is always straight up about the price and they explain everything in a way that can be understood by the customer. I am not mechanical but I always do my research. Ive trusted Dr. Jacks for years now and I have always been happy with the finished product. My family and friends use Jacks now also. Always.

The guys Richie, Elmer, Pete & the rest of the crew put forth genuine effort with customer service & I appreciate that a lot cause I send , my 3 daughters, mother in law & my wife there & they feel very comfortable…… most of all the job gets done……. Thank you guys!!!
I have been to this shop and this shop only for the last 2 years. I am always greeted in a friendly, professional manner. The diagnosis of any issues are explained in simple laymans terms. The prices are extremely fair. The waiting room is always neat and repairs or maintenance visits take a whole lot less time than other places Ive gone.
It was another great experience great customer service great car knowledge.

2022-06-24Richie was very professional, I thought I needed new brakes because of squeaking. Turned out to be a busted caliper, part was 150 and 60 to fix it. Very fair and he didnt RIP me off, hes my new local mechanic from now on. Thank you Richie!

2022-01-01I dropped my vehicle off for a service. The mechanic told me over the phone a full price of $1420 and if I pay cash he could do a better deal. The service was to include a tire rotation which they were not able to complete but still charged me for. When my wife went to pick up the car late afternoon the day after they originally said it would be ready, they charged her $1500 cash.

I havent found a mechanic that actually calls you back, diagnoses things quickly and properly, and that doesnt shy away from bigger jobs, until I went to Dr Jacks auto.Great people, extremely knowledgeable techs, prompt servicing and fair pricing... What more could you ask for?I had an EVAP code... 30 minutes later boom culprit found by them. Another time, my car took forever to warm up. Brought it to them, tech looked felt two coolant hoses and told me it was the thermostat, and damn right it was!

2021-05-10I’ve been using Dr. Jack’s for a long time now and recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic. I have always found them fair and personable. I started using them when a mechanic in the area said it was $600 to fix a problem. I took my car to Dr. Jack’s for a second opinion, and they said it was a $3 part and fixed it for under $5. I’ve never stopped going after that.

2021-03-08Tried Dr Jacks on a recommendation from a friend and i couldnt be Happier! Rich was great. He listened to my problems diagnosed and fixed my car quickly and at a great price Will definitely use them again. Anybody looking for a fair and honest mechanic should give them a call!
