Dr. Shaikh has been one of the best internist I have ever visited. He thoroughly went over my complete medical history and listened to each and every thing I had to say. I did face a problem with the staff once but when I had brought this issue to the Doctor he took clear notice of it and ever since its has been going great. I would really recommend Dr. Shaikh for his amazing medical expertise. The negative reviews dont feel like they make sense.
I honestly cannot say enough about Dr Shaikh and his team, even my family notice the high level of care I receive. I owe Dr Shaikh, Dr Ayaz and their staff so much. I have been going through so much medically the past year and a half I honestly do not think I could have made it without Dr Shaikhs keen medical diagnosis and treatment. Being in the hospital for extended periods I have seen the respect given Dr Shaikh by other Doctors, Nurses and other medical staff. Dr Shaikhs and Dr Ayazs demeaner and bedside manner have made me feel more then just a numbered patient but that they really care about me. the whole me. The girls in the office are phenomenal and consistently go above and beyond what I have come to expect from other medical office staff. I am extremely blessed to be under the care of Dr Shaikh, Dr Ayaz and their staff
About 7 months ago I went for a sinus infection. Dr Shaikh has had me coming for follow ups every month since then even though I have told him I have no reason to be coming in, I have no ailments. When I asked to cancel they told me it is against their policies and I could reschedule. When I missed an appointment they rescheduled against my knowledge and then charged me a rescheduling fee. Every appointment I have had to wait 2 hours to be seen. Absolutely terrible attitudes from the staff.
I have been a patient with this doctor for about 2 years and I have had NOTHING but PROBLEMS seeing them. They reschedule my appointments automatically without asking if that works for me then charge me $30 when I miss it ? And I just recently moved to Florida, I have a history of kidney stones and they know that and have treated that for me. And I don’t have a provider here just yet in Florida I even made a new appointment with dr shaikh in July to be seen when I came to New York to visit. And I called today to simply ask if he can supply me with a doctor’s note stating I have kidney stones and a history of it and he told me no because I haven’t been seen since November 2018. That’s only 7 months. Physicals are only done once a year. But because I haven’t been seen in 7 months he won’t supply me with a note for my new employer here in Florida but if he had seen me sooner he would write me one. On my watch that is very petty and immature of a doctor. And like I said it’s been nothing but problems since day 1 with them for other various reasons. But this one really did it for me. Goes to show that all’s these doctors care about is the money you bring them. Smh me and my entire family will be leaving this practice. They honestly aren’t even good doctors. They prescribe me ib profin for kidneys stones. Which are HORRIBLE for your kidneys. You think being a doctor you would know that but they don’t.

Dr. Shaikh was the hospitalist for my husband this past week. We thought he was great, very thorough. Dont understand these bad reviews.
Awefull physician! ALWAYS late! Terrible bed side manners. I wouldnt have him as my Dr even if he was the last Dr on earth

2022-05-01I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Shaikh. I particularly like his whole patient approach, thinking about the big picture while at the same time asking me questions to help him better understand what is going on and the best course of action. Im not a passive patient so I really like the feeling that we are a team, figuring things out. I also appreciate that I never feel rushed. He takes the time needed to have a meaningful conversation.

2022-05-04Dr shaikh is a phenomenal doctor when it comes to providing excellent care. I have had multiple instances where I was able to schedule same day appointments with the doctor due to urgent examination of the issue. His exam was very thorough and he was able to accurately diagnose the underlying problem based on his experience and knowledge. He is very transparent with the patient and explains the issue along with next steps. I remember going to dr shaikh’s office when I was unable to even walk due to severe pain, but within 2 weeks I was back on my feet.Dr shaikh is highly responsive, as due to my frequent travel, i am not always in town, so i end up usually emailing him about the issue and he is either able to assist me with a video appointment or speaking to me over the phone about my existing problem.I would highly recommend him as your go to doctor.

2022-05-01He is the only physician I am comfortable and trust . Sometime I call him on odd hours , he is there to help u. Give samples and help in you need referral to a specialist. Keep up Doc

2021-12-20STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! If zero stars was a possibility I would give this “practice” zero stars. There are some great people here Ajla and Azema take genuine concern the problem is the “doctors” who should not be able to practice don’t care at all. I would be a more effective doctor with about 5 minutes of Web MD and a YouTube video these “medical professionals” are a joke. I’ve been to numerous appts over the year and you are rushed out of the office, lied to, and they don’t listen what so ever. My most recent visit was concern after losing nearly 30 pounds in a week. I requested specific blood panels to be done as nothing about that is normal “Dr.” Ayaz lied about the tests that were sent out, told me I should try eating (gee thanks doc didn’t think of that one) and rushed my visit to less than maybe 5 minutes. I will never go back to this “doctors office” and I would recommend if you have any concerns about your health you don’t either. Find a practice that will get you help for your medical concerns that could be severe not a practice with “doctors” that I am shocked haven’t been sued for malpractice yet.

2020-12-29Amazing care! My husband has been going here for a little over 2 years. They found a medical concern I think would have gone unnoticed in a person of his age. When I was not able to get a hold of a Dr. at Upstate hospital after a procedure, Dr. Shaikh was readily available for a virtual appointment even though it was evening. I can’t say enough good things about this practice.

2021-03-02Dr, Shaikh is rude. My experience with him was awful, I saw him every month for 2 years. He never remembered me or my case. I would wait for an hour in the waiting room and another hour in the exam room. He would spend maybe 10 minutes with me and then tell me to come in 30 days. .... Do not see him. He also treated his staff horribly every 3 months there was someone new working because of the way he treated people.
