Stay away from this gentleman. Those reviews are so hard to believe. It was so different than the Dr he was. Easily offended. Short tempered and not knowledgeable. He basically stole $1.5k from me and resolved nothing. He is short tempered and has very little knowledge about the services he offers. He and his secretary had ME (not his staff) calling pharmacist to get wording for my prescription because they weren’t yet knowledgeable about the law and didn’t know exactly what to write…not TOP DOCTOR like they claim. I have been to Castle Connolly referred doctors all my adult life and am keen to high end service and knowledge. This doctor and his staff are not up to par with Manhattan. His office style and website are gimmicky enough to confuse you into thinking he’s on top of every new law and treatment. Not at all. Do not recommend. Also dr has a chip on his shoulder. Gets offended easily. Refuses to take any patient calls. Will only talk to you if pay for a full session. He refuses to confirm appointments by phone (even my dog groomers Does that). Is not available for patient emergencies. Has a patient wait 20 minutes on a 45 minute session and doesn’t even apologize instead says “that’s they way it is because he has other “human” patients…not sure what that meant. In any event. Very low class gentleman, staff, and service.UPDATE: Emailed dr’s office and at least received full refund.

Avoid if you require respect, empathy, and someone to manage complex and stigmatized therapies this is not your person, he is financially focused and completely absent to any degree otherwise and will not refill any controlled substance without prosecuting you emotionally as a drug seeker. unprofessional zero stars.

I will say I am beautifully stubborn when it comes to taking care of myself over others. But here I am almost two years as a patient of Dr. Ditzell; investing in my mental health with him. The office staff is truly so warm and professional; literally they weren’t kidding when they said they’re available always. Email, phone, text - this I appreciate like whoa.I continue to be enamored by Dr. Ditzell’s intellect, insight and consistency. I had to truly convince myself as a mid thirty something to go for therapy, like a child throwing a tantrum I kicked and screamed; and I have to admit that the juxtaposition of being heard as well as the medication management Dr. Ditzell uses has allowed me become the best version of myself.I write the above with the utmost gratitude and conviction of recommendation that if you do anything for yourself, it’s connecting with Dr. Ditzell for therapy

I really cant say enough great things about Dr. Ditzell. We found him at an extremely rough time and thank God we did. Hes an outstanding doctor. His entire staff is wonderful.

Dr.Ditzell is a phenomenal psychiatrist. He is very easy to talk to and incredibly smart, yet he is very clear on treatment and explains the process/medication thoroughly. I cant speak highly enough of him on how excellent he is in helping me manage my condition. You simply cannot go wrong with him, he truly provides the best patient care, and is no nonsense. Id also like to mention Savitri (Patient Coordinator) is an absolute pleasure to talk to as well. She is prompt, thorough, and very quick to answer questions you may have.

I have been seeing Dr. Ditzell for 7 years for a clear diagnosed issue. I told him from day one I needed a disciplined psychiatrist who was not going to coddle me, provide me with direction, and have a plan. He is a no nonsense therapist who seeks solutions and does not find it to anyones advantage to continue therapy just for the sake of pacifying a situation and dragging on. He is results oriented guy which is clear from his military training.

Jeff is the man. No sugar coated back rubs. Just realness all around to get my head back in the game. I’d Recommend Dr. D to outgoing performance driven folk all the way hitting the other side of the spectrum - to the introverted Dungeons & Dragons player.. Namaste.

Dr.Ditzell has been my Doctor for 10 years,although I must take pills for my situation,I feel much better under his care. He’s a Marine,who’s done his time and more.. He takes trips to the Troops in Iraq,Afghanistan etc. and helps them as well. He’s a great man. My life is in his hands. He also helped my son years ago.
