The before and after pictures speak for themselves! Dr. Mesa and his team were a dream come true. He has a natural talent to look at you and know just what he needs to do to perfect your desired look. I went to several consultations prior to Dr. Mesa. He was the only doctor that did not try to upscale me procedures, he took his time to answer all of my questions and made me feel extremely comfortable. I am a very happy client from Canada. On June 6, 2022 I flew in to the New Jersey location for Buccal Fat Removal, Juvederm in the cheekbones and Botox for my Crow’s Feet and in the masseter muscles of the jawline. From my first email contact with the staff, I was taken by the hand and walked through the entire experience. Dr Mesa’s consultation was thorough and I was reassured as explained the entire procedure to me in a way that I understood. He took pictures of my face and described how the results could be achieved. I was very comforted by the fact that he only specializes in the face and neck and I knew from reading other reviews and seeing a lot of before and after posts of his work that he was the only surgeon I would consider for this procedure. On the day of surgery everyone at the clinic including Dr Mesa was wonderful! I was understandably anxious but he does everything in such a gentle manner and he talked throughout each procedure describing exactly what he was doing as he was doing it. I felt no pain at all. After I was done, the staff had made arrangements for transport back to the airport. I left the clinic with a folder of all the work performed, my aftercare instructions, medication for - full day until I arrived home and had the time to go to a pharmacy.The entire experience was 5 star and I could not be any happier! Thank you Dr Mesa and all your wonderful staff for making this a dream come true for me! I am a grateful client!!

I grew up with chubby cheeks due to genetics, there was nothing I could do. I was teased by bullies who told me that my chubby face did not match my skinny body structure. What a time that was. I found out about buccal fat removal surgery in my early 20s, so I decided to pay a visit to Dr. Mesas office. He is the coolest dude youll ever meet. Very honest, to the point, and spot on with his recommendations. After seeing the doctor I decided that he would be the surgeon to perform the buccal fat removal. The surgery worked wonders, the result was beyond my expectations. Dr. Mesa is also very considerate in regards to what you want, while at the same time being 100% honest with you. Buccal fat removal surgery transformed my face into a version of myself that I never thought Id see during this lifetime. I cried in disbelief, I couldnt believe it was me. None of this would be possible without the impeccable work of Dr. Mesa!

I had a buccal fat removal and chin liposuction with Dr. Mesa in early May. I knew I wanted an experienced professional to do these procedures as not many doctors perform them, and Mesa was my first choice. From my first consultation, to my surgery day, he (and his fabulous staff) was so kind and always made me feel comfortable. He removed 80% of my buccal fat, and all of my chin fat. Not only is Dr. Mesa the most talented plastic surgeon, but hes a true artist and really cares and caters to your individual preferences. I had buccal fat removal done three weeks ago and decided to also get upper cheek filler shortly after to give myself a more angular appearance and I absolutely LOVE the results.Ive always been very skinny, but always had chubby cheeks and I noticed the results of my buccal fat removal almost immediately. I now feel like my face compliments my body. In regards to the upper cheek filler, I had never considered it in the past, but Im SO HAPPY I went for it. If youre on the fence GO FOR IT. Great experience and great results from Dr. Mesa! I had Buccal Fat Removal surgery and the results are very natural (what I wanted) but now I have natural contour and my face looks a lot thinner. Dr. Mesa was very calming (because I was of course nervous having never had any cosmetic surgery done before) and he was incredibly skillful. Dr. Mesa was an amazing doctor!! I got buccal fat pad removal and I love my results. I asked for a natural look and he definitely delivered. He and his staff provided excellent care instructions and guidance. The night of the surgery I was not feeling great due to pain, and received a call from Dr. Mesa asking how I was. He told me that it was important to take Tylenol after a few hours and thats exactly what helped me feel better. Always listen to what the doctor says!

AVOID this doctor! Charges almost more than double the price compared to other doctors for the same procedure. Got a buccal fat removal surgery and it made 0% difference. Wast of thousands of dollars to look exactly the same as before...Plus him and his staff are extremely rude, ill-mannered people. Especially, the lead nurse Christina.

Extremely happy with my results!DR. MESA IS THE BEST!I always had chubby cheeks and a double chin that I was never was able to completely get rid off. I did keto diet, Paleo diet, Weight watchers and even a diet with a nutritionist and nothing worked. I knew there was a solution to my problem.I did research about chubby cheeks reduction and I found that buccal fat removal was a permanent solution to my problem. After doing extensive research I did consultation with 3 mastic surgeons. It was very easy for me to choose Dr. Mesa as my surgeon: he was very professional, explained everything about the surgery, his office staff was very nice and his results (before and afters) were very natural and way better than the other surgeons. I noticed he also specialized in chin liposuction so i ended up booking both surgeries with him the following month.I was scared I was going to feel pain during surgery underocal anesthesia. I felt NO PAIN at all. I was not anxious during surgery because he was explaining every step of the surgery. For the chin liposuction i was talking to him about my pets and travel plans post COVID.Recovery was easy. About 5 days of neck swelling and one small bruise. I am now 4 months out and WOW, what a change: i no longer have chin y cheeks. My cheek bones are finally visible and the double chin is long gone! My jaw line is to sharp to the point I lookike a model.Dr. Medias staff is very sweet and responsive. Beldry and Vanessa where very helpful over the phone. Cristina his nurse is also adorable.His office and surgical facility was impeccable. I felt very safe .I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Mesa to anyone interested in chubby cheek reduction and chin lipo. He is the best!

I can’t begin to tell you what an easy process this was I was very nervous about getting the buccal fat removal done and was so tired of my chubby face, but Dr Mesa was so great at explaining it and basically drawing out a structure and was so Calm and I don’t know if it was his voice but he was very gentle and soothing and helped my anxiety just go away, literally spoke during the procedure to let me know what was happening, the office hands down is Amazing From the people who answer the phone to beldry explaining the cost and working with my budget, to the nurse, to basically everyone thank you all so much, it’s my 2nd day post op, but I already feel slightly better and not as swollen as I expected. Can’t wait die the final results.

2022-06-23Dr. Mesa performed buccal fat removal on me in 3/11/22. The results have been extraordinary. Prior to the surgery I had chubby cheeks and I was unable to achieve a chiseled facial look despite maintaining a low body fat. Post-surgery my jawline and cheek bones are extremely defined. My face looks tight, masculine, and sculpted. I would do it over again in a heartbeat. Dr. Mesa is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and you will feel comfortable and secure the whole way through. Highly recommended!

The entire staff was very kind from Vanessa who helped schedule my appointments to Cristina who answered all of my questions and eased my anxiety about surgery as well as all the staff I dealt with on the day of surgery. Dr. Mesa is a caring doctor and listened well to my areas of concern. Surgery went very well and I was even contacted shortly afterward to see how my recovery was going. I am truly speechless when it comes to the results. I finally am able to look in the mirror without having makeup on and see natural contouring of my cheeks. I have been waiting for a time that I could look in the mirror and love how I look and that time has come. I truly love my results. I cannot be more grateful for Dr. Mesa and staff for making that happen. I would recommend them to anyone.

2022-03-05I’ve been researching board certified surgeons for a few years. Dr Mesa is very straightforward, professional, and kind. I was extremely nervous, but his patience and professionalism calmed me from the initial consultation through the end of the procedure. If you’re looking for a surgeon that is thorough with his explanations, in addition to being a perfectionist, Dr. Mesa is your guy!

2022-06-19I am so happy with my decision to have Dr.Mesa as my surgeon! I am two days post op and have 0 pain! I had alot done at once and didn’t feel any discomfort during my procedure as well! The office was super nice and the OR was very relaxing with lights and soft music. My surgical nurse was really great as well and comforted me during my procedure while dr. Mesa walked me through each step of what we were doing! He was also super transparent and let me look at everything he was removing while the surgery was going on which I was excited about! I am swollen but can already tell a huge difference at only day 2! I can’t wait for my full results
