The staff was so nice here and was not on top of me while I was shopping. It was a very mellow atmosphere and I felt comfortable looking around!
I got yet another great pair of Docs, this time white. Great neighborhood for shopping and food.
I found a pair of work boots with great ankle support, but the store on 18th didn’t have my size. They were so wonderful and found a store that did have my size. Both stores were really helpful & really did know a good amount about the shoes. Now I have to break in my new boots, which is of course a painful process, but I know once they’re broken in, I’ll have them for years.
Employee Taylor and their store manager were very helpful and down to earth! All the workers always always ALWAYS offered help to the customers and made sure that everyone was finding a pair that fit them best. The manager made sure to bring me different sizes of the style I was interested in. In addition, the manager also brought me two sizes in a different but similar style. Taylor was the employee that walked me through the process of leather maintenance and explained to me why conditioning leather is important and the most crucial times to condition leather. Altogether, my experience at Doc Martens in Soho was probably better than any shoe store trips!

Just went shopping. Yes it was last minute. Yes it was 30 mins to close. The only person that cared or barely helped was the manager who appeared to look like bon jovi or whatever. Will not be shopping here ever. Thank you for nothing.
Spend nearly five hundred bucks and with it comes terrible customer service. The dudes in here acted like they had something better to do—like text while your trying to ask questions. This location didn’t do the brand justice today.
This store is excellent. Exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable sales team. Turned out I bought a size that didnt work for me, the exchange to the next size up (2 days later) was a breeze. Impressive customer service. My favorite location by a landslide.
Great selection of styles and sizes, I’m a size EU43, and a lot of stores back home don’t stock my size. Here, however, I ended up buying a pair that was sold out in every size but mine. Would have bought more if my baggage allowance for my flight back would allow it... Also the staff is absolutely amazing. Thanks for the great service!
The people that work at the store are all super nice, helpful and fun. What a nice place to get a new pair of Doc Martens. My 13 year old daughter wanted her first pair and the experience was perfect. Thanks Monique and the gang!

Great location, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Was promptly greated upon entering, encouraged to use their hand sanitizer, and even offered complimentary PPE. Though the store isnt technically a local business , Im glad i visited the brick/mortar location, and by doing so supported (dieing) Manhattan retail; and encourage others to do the same!
I loved my experience at this location. I wanted to come back but unfortunately didn’t have time. A larger dark skin man helped me out and his customer service was amazing + very appreciated. I wish I could call him out by name but I didn’t get it! Would definitely recommend this location.

I went to this store to return a recently purchased gift . Boots never came out the box . Possessed all receipts.I presented the gift receipt. Manager said he needs the original receipt. Doug around for it. Found it , gave it to him . Told me no. Now needs the card info. Found the card info . Gave it to him . Only for him to tell me go back to the original store of purchase. So I took the train from my home. To shop in that area . I had to lug that bulky box around all day . Some people cant do simple jobs. I purchase $200 pair of boots . Never will I shop at Dr. Martens again .

The absolute worst customer experience. Went to return a pair of shoes b/c they weren’t my size after trying them at home a few times. I was accused of wearing them outside and the guy doing my return barely looked me in the eye or spoke with me. He avoided me as if I was a criminal in his store. Why should there be shame in me returning shoes that aren’t my size???!!! He told me he couldn’t do the return without the original form of payment and if I came back tomorrow he wouldn’t refund me bc I would be past the 30 day mark. The shoes literally weren’t my size. F you Doc Marten and your team too. If I am going to drop $150+ on a pair of shoes then it should be sided with excellent service. I will definitely be calling corporate to see if I can get a proper refund.

The store is very appealing and has a cozy feel no matter how many people are in it. The staff is amazing and has some very good advice. We bought a few pairs during our last visit and are very pleased with the shoes.
Easy to see right off of Spring Street servicing Soho and the adjoining areas of Manhattan. Parking on the Street is available but it fills up fast especially at night and on the weekends. Clean facilities. No public Restroom. New York City prices so bring your credit cards. Staff is nice. We will most likely be going back..
Very friendly and helpful staff. I came in for a trial fitting and despite not purchasing, it was a super helpful experience in deciding if I want to purchase their shoes, and I ended up picking up some leather care supplies anyway.
Stopped in and the helpful staff brought out several sizes of what I was looking for. Seemed to be well stocked and there was a good size sale going on that I believe is a match to the sales displayed in the Dr Marten online store which was a nice surprise.
If there is a zero star, I will give it to this store. They don’t exchange and return your shoes if you bought it online. You have to bring the fking heavy shoes all the way back and return it through UPS or whatever. So garbage service! And the shoes is so hard to wear! Don’t buy Dr. Marten in this store anymore!

These shoes save my life. Bought 1 pair then came back for 2 more. The Jadon requires most breaking in. Will helped me try on different sizes including insoles, then gave me the best advice of sticking to the smaller size. They are finally broken in now! Thank you for your help you guys are rockstars! Great store overall and does wonderful events however the small and narrow dimensions of the store which also maintains its displays etc of shoes during events makes it difficult to move around or if youre on the shorter side like me (52) even see whats going on and what area to walk towards lol other than that fantastic!

Lots of variety of models of these Unbreakable shoes. In New York they use a lot and there are very cute patterns. I love their boots and its worth to shop around to see how many different models they have. There are model cubes that can be obtained at a very convenient price compared to what is usually paid for this footwear in Argentina

2021-11-15If you want a pair if shoes that will last forever, definitely dr martens is what you need, they have plenty styles for everyone, the staff is really kind and helpful, I recommend to get there early because there is a queue to get in the store, so the service can get a little bit slow. This place is to live the whole dr martens experience

She demonstrated how to use the leather cleaner for us and answered the 101 questions we had. She was happy and pleasant throughout, cannot say enough nice things about her!

2022-06-09Very rude and racist staff! I have never been insulted like this before. There was one other customer apart from me and she was British so the said staff member was extra sweet with her but with me she acted like I didnt belong there. At the end it was me who bought not the British customer!She also got me wrong sizes, TWICE, which I mentioned very politely only to see her get defensive and blame me for not giving her a size, which I had done very clearly.In my 3 years in NY, I have NEVER been treated so badly especially when I am a paying customer and not just a window shopper.Not sure if more people fit this description, but this was a tall, thin and dark complexioned lady who behaved this way.

2019-03-27This Saturday I purchased a beautiful pair of boots that I have been eyeing for over a month now. Going in I had multiple concerns. I was afraid I would get the incorrect size, how my feet would feel after breaking them in, and normal wear and tear. The sales man working with me told me to size down as they usually run large. He also informed me of several different ways to prevent blisters when wearing them. Lastly he mentioned the Wonder Balsam that helps protect the leather.Well today I wore my boots and while they were tight I was generally comfortable (I wore tights under my socks as the salesman suggested). Thank you for everything who knows maybe I ll find another pair I need soon.
