I am really pleased with the foot care I received from Dr. Lobkova. She has a wonderful bedside manner and really knows what she is doing. I was waking up at 3am every night with debilitating foot pain that literally had me limping around for a good 6-8 weeks during the day. She suggested the laser treatment for my pain and in two weeks I felt 1000% better. I think shes the best podiatrist in NYC. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Dr. Lobkova is terrific! I had an extremely challenging problem to resolve (that Ive had for 30 years!) and she worked very hard to get my feet in tip top shape. Shes kind, friendly, and does her very best to make sure you are comfortable. Shes also patient and put up with my endless questions and anxieties throughout the process. Im thrilled to report my feet are finally 100% healed. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend Dr. Lobkova! I have visited Dr. Lobkovas office many, many times by now and they were always positive experiences. I never left the office without feeling satisfied.First, the process to set up appointments to see her was always very convenient, and accommodating. I never had to wait to see her and checking in was always quick. Second, she is a very knowledgeable doctor. At all of my appointments she helped me understand everything about the issues of my toenails and foot, and answered all my questions. She even helped me understand more about the location of my pain and why it may occur. Fourth, she is very attentive and caring. She explained all the possible treatments to resolve my issues and I was always encouraged to do what I thought was best for me. As a plus, the office is clean, modern and easily accessible. I can’t say enough good things about this office, the staff, and Dr. Lobkova. To start, the office was pristine, clean, and I felt completely comfortable coming to my appointment during COVID. I did not wait more than 5 minutes and the check in process was a breeze. I saw Dr. Lobkova for a second opinion about my issue and she was able to address all my concerns. She took her time to listen and explain my diagnosis. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. We did a laser procedure on my feet and I felt no pain whatsoever. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and found myself a podiatrist I can trust. It was well worth the trip from Brooklyn.
Dr. Lobkova is very knowledgeable and kind in her treatment, she takes the time to listen, explain and treat. She successfully treated the feet problem that I had, there is absolutely no sign (almost magic) to that there was even a problem. Dr. Lobkova is an excellent doctor and a very kind person and I highly recommend her. Very nice new office that is easily accessible via public transportation and wishing her continued success in everything.
I absolutely loved my experience with Dr. Lobkova. She has a very patient bedside manner and is very personable. I would give her 10 stars if I could because she made a stubborn plantar wart that I had for two years go away in 3 MONTHS. Highly recommend her services if you have any sort of feet issues!!
Dr. Lobkova is amazing! I have been dealing with plantar warts for two years now and it made me feel like a total monster. I had about 10 warts at the ball of my foot under the big toe and after just two SWIFT wart removal treatments, it is completely gone! Dr. Lobkova is very honest, attentive and caring. When the pain got intense for me, she would add an additional numbing spray to make me feel more comfortable. Honestly, I barely felt it but it was more my anticipation than anything else. I’m a huge wimp when it comes to any slight burning sensation. She was so understanding and patient about it. There’s a bit of a wait, but I don’t mind because I could use the quiet and she also let me wait in the treatment room where I could be more comfortable. The first time, they even gave me a hand treatment mask to use. I highly recommend Dr. Lobkova. Her prices are very reasonable and she takes insurance too.
Dr. Lobkova had excellent availability, she was personable and very nice. She was able to diagnose my issue quickly and gave me options for me to choose the right treatment for myself. She was able to quickly send the medication I needed delivered to my home with quick refill process. She was honest able to length of time it would take to treat my problem and I got excellent results. I would highly recommend!
Dr. Lobkova is Amazing! Her office is so beautiful and clean. I had to travel a while to get to her but it was worth the long trip. She is so approachable and knowledgable. She was able to answer all my questions. My daughter felt comfortable and wasnt in pain at the end of the treatment (she is sensitive). I highly recommend that if you are looking for a good podiatrist to see her.

This podiatrist requires a credit card one file which I declined because of bad experiences I have had in the past with storing my credit card information. I offered to pay for any balances up front and also have great health insurance which this doctor is in network with. After I declined to allow them to store my credit card, the nice receptionist walked over to the back to ask the doctor if she would allow me to be seen without storing my credit card but the doctor refused. This speaks volumes.
I’ve been to see Dr. Lobkova multiple times for a foot issue. Very professional doctor. She diagnosed my problem right away, explained it to me very clearly and came up with a plan of treatment that worked effectively. My foot issue was gone after two months! Great office overall as well in terms of operation. Easy to schedule an appointment, with appointment reminders via text. The longest wait time was 10 minutes tops, and I was always seen very quickly. Very grateful for Dr. Nelya Lobkova!
Your feet will thank you! Dr. Lobkova’s office provides some of the best customer service I’ve seen in any doctor’s office let alone during COVID-19. The whole office is very clean, professional and compliant with COVID-19 restrictions. I have suffered with issues from my feet for a long time and I was able to get custom orthotics that have helped significantly and developed a treatment plan with Dr. Lobkova for the future. I’m only in my 20’s but having good footcare has positively impacted my quality of life, as I previously could not walk for long periods of time. She is very friendly but also knowledgeable and good at explaining any medical issues in easy terminology. You can tell she cares about what she does and the people who come to her office. 100% recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Lobkova! Ive already recommended her to several friends. I went in to do a procedure for ingrown toenails and I was in and out in less than an hour and a half. Dr. Lobkova made me feel so comfortable (I was really nervous!) and truly made the experience a pleasant one overall. She also followed up about a week later to see how I was recovering. I will absolutely go back!

Dr. finally got rid of painful plantar wart I had for over twenty years via a pain free method that took less than two months. In the past, I had tried various painful treatment approaches that hadn’t worked with other providers, but she got it done. I also got my orthotics through her. She is incredibly thorough, thoughtful and listens carefully. She explains in detail the treatment options and answers questions. Great bedside manner, puntual, patient and knowledgeable. Dr Loblova and her staff are really good. I didn’t feel uncomfortable in her care. She’s trust worthy and smart. She located my injury smoothly and without question. The insoles she fitted for me make walking feel 10x better.

Dr. Lobkova is such a nice, kind and very educated young lady. Im so glad that I found her. She fixed my problem with my toes that I had for 10 years. I wish I could found her earlier. She did a neat and fast surgery on both toes and now my toes are pain-free and look good as never before. I highly recommend her for any and all foot issues.

An experience with a doctor doesnt get better than this. Dr. Labkova is simply amazing. She expertly diagnosed what was wrong with my feel on my first visit, taught me how to use KT tape (with great patience), and fitted me with my first pair of orthotics, which are perfect. Shes extremely competent, knows her stuff, and is also very warm. I feel lucky to have found her and recommend her very highly.
Dr. Nelya Lobkova came highly recommended and for good reason. I had an amazing experience in her brand new modern office, Step Up Footcare. The procedure was painless and she had a great bedside manner. It was super easy to get to given the Downtown New York City Tribeca location is near a variety of train lines.
Dr. Lobkova is fantastic! Very amicable, shes good about giving advice about the best ways to follow-up on your condition at home. She is consciencious about pricing but also realistic in communicating all aspects of treatment and recovery. I got the Swift treatment for some baaaad plantar warts -- my feet took to it after the second of three treatments, and now all ten of my warts are gone and my feet are prettier and happier than theyve been in a year! As a martial artist and very active athlete, I can continue my passion and livelihood without pain, and that is well worth a couple visits to Step Up Footcare!!
Vibrant and energetic office team. Heather (office manager) was super helpful in sorting out the insurance coverage and helping me understand what, if anything, I had to do. Dr Lobkova was patient, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable and truly showed concern about wellness and treatment rather than selling in solutions. I was very comfortable from beginning to end to ask questions that were dumb, complex or anything in between. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Dr. Lobkova. She took the time and care to make sure I got back on my feet with a comprehensive, non-surgical approach. After seeing two orthopedic surgeons to no avail and putting up with two years of foot pain, I am finally able to run without pain thanks to Dr. Lobkova and her excellent staff. Running 5K, hiking, and mountain biking were unthinkable a year ago. Yet, Dr. Lobkova found a way for me to live an active life again, without pain. Im writing this review specifically pertaining to my plantar fasciitis issue. I had a friend recommend me to Dr. Lobkova, who is an extremely kind doctor. However, all of the treatments we did were just relieving the symptoms instead of dealing with the problem. I ended up going to a different podiatrist who informed me that the issue was my flexibility in my hips. After a couple sessions of physical therapy where my hips and back were targeted, I felt immediate relief. My big recommendation is really just to find a doctor who will deal with the root of the cause and not just the symptoms. Again, very very nice doctor, but after a couple months of treatment, just didnt remedy my particular ailment.
Dr. Lobkova is great! I had moved to NYC and my toenail had broke and luckily found her. She told me about keryflex and it’s benefits - being anti-fungal while getting to appear like I have a full toe nail. And wow she did an awesome job! I couldn’t even tell it was a fake toenail. So happy I found her and don’t have to hide my feet in socks and shoes anymore!

I highly recommend Dr. Lobkova! I came in to remove a wart, which she eliminated using Swift Therapy - such a quick and easy experience. Its rare to find a doctor who takes the time to efficiently evaluate and explain any and all concerns you may have, but Dr. Lobkova does just that. I have suffered from horrible feet for basically my entire life and always assumed nothing could be done about it. But oh how wrong I was! I saw Dr. Lobkova and in a month she has TRANSFORMED my feet. My feet aren’t calloused and cracked and my toenails are staring to improve. And on top of all that, have you ever had a podiatrist cut your toenails? Life changing I tell you.

2022-08-08I have visited Dr. Lobkova on several occasions for minor treatment but recently developed a rather painful and restrictive bump on the bottom of my foot which prevented me from participating in my regular physical and sport related activities.She diagnosed the issue quickly and recommended several courses of treatment, including laser and injection therapy, which she administered over the course of several weeks. By the end of the treatment I was back to 100%.Dr. Lobkova and her office staff also took extra time to explain in detail how the treatments were covered by insurance, and ensured any out of pocket expenses were more than reasonable for the level and professionalism of care I received.If you have any podiatry related needs, I would highly recommend Dr. Lobkova.

2022-03-14Was looking for a new podiatrist since I’ve always had issues with my toenails. Did a quick search and found Dr. Lobkova. I originally went in for an in-grown toenail on one toe and she checked on my other toe and I found out that I actually had an infection on it! She recommended medicine and to do a bunch of laser treatments. It’s been a few treatments and a few months later and now I’m back to having a new toenail and getting rid of the infection. Dr. Lobkova is super personable, friendly, and very thorough. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone who is looking for a new podiatrist.

2022-08-01Dont recommend.Went in seeking treatment for fungus under one of my toenails, which I wanted removed. Instead the doctor recommended a series of 3 laser treatments which totaled 1,500 out of pocket. Desperate to rid myself of this unsightly toenail problem I agreed to give it a try.After the second treatment I noticed very little to no improvement. However I still had one treatment left and although unlikely maybe this would be the magic bullet!The day of the third and final laser visit, I had a legitimate emergency occur so I called to reschedule a couple of hours before my appointment, I was charged a $50 cancellation fee which I according to the person at the front desk, I agreed to as part of the patient consent form I signed during my first visit as a new patient.So now the one toenail which wasnt improving was about to cost an additional $50, totaling $1,550!! I dont think so Ill cut my losses at $1,000 . How shortsighted of this doctor to lose a patient paying upwards of 1000+ out of pocket! for a treatment offered by every other podiatrist in the city!!! Shed rather lose a patient spending thousands of dollars out of pocket for $50, less than smart. So dont waste your time with Dr Lobkova who clearly values policy over the patient experience and outcome.Additionally, this is the second time Im writing this review as my first one which I wrote less than 24 hours ago seems to have disappeared!!!

2022-02-20Dr. Lobkova is smart, kind and caring. Three qualities that make an excellent physician. I saw several doctors before finding Dr. Lobkova and finally got some relieve from my chronic foot pain. I highly recommend.

2022-06-27I wished I had looked at the negative reviews of this doctor before I went to see her. When I went to my appointment, the front desk person - who was very nice - said it was required to have a credit card on file. I declined. I asked her to ask the doctor if this could was really necessary. She went in the back and asked the doctor and the doctor said it is policy. I refused and walked out. If this is such strict policy, it shouldve been brought up when I made the appointment and when they took my insurance card information. Funny, the receptionist said they never had a problem with a patient declining to have a credit card on file and I do see another person who felt similarly as I did. Im sure we are not the only two. This is NOT necessary. I especially dont want to leave a credit card on file with a practice that uses so many things that my insurance might not cover - amnio fluid, gait scans. I like to know my costs upfront and I have great insurance. I have never had this experience before. Sure, there have been doctors who request a credit card, but if I decline, it is not an issue. This was a complete waste of my time.

2022-07-23I live in NC and found Dr. Lobkova after seeing a local podiatrist and being told my only option for my big toe pain was a toe fusion. Dr. Lobkovas Joint Time Machine looked like a perfect option so I set up a call with her to discuss. I decided to give it a chance and travel to NYC to have the injection. The appointment took about an hour and she put me at ease immediately. She showed me my toe joint before and after the injection. She explained everything to me in a way that I could understand and even showed me a bone spur - the podiatrist here in NC didnt tell me I had a bone spur. She said between the bone on bone issue plus the bone spur, both were causing the pain. The injection creates a temporary cushion and alleviates the pain. Im hoping to get 6 months to a year - or more - of relief. The injection is a gel injection consisting of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occuring fluid in our bodies. This injection is something I can do as often as I need to. It has been 4 days since the injection and my feet feel great. No pain! After the injection, I have been trying to stay off my feet - no workouts, limit my walking. Im erring on the conservative side. Ill resume my workout in a few days. Im incredibly grateful to Dr. Lobkova for offering this modality for toe pain that keeps me out of the OR for now!
