Where do I begin. Dr Tepper is amazing. He is talented, skilled, compassionate, accessible and the nicest person!The best review I suppose is that I am a return client - he has done four procedures on me - arm lift, thigh lift, breast lift and tummy tuck. And I just saw him today to schedule a fifth procedure. I always tell him I’m a Body by TepperDr. Tepper is not only skilled in the OR but also with his connection to his patients. He makes you feel so comfortable. Plastic surgery still has some stigma attached to it especially as a woman. I lost half my body weight over a number of years through diet modification and exercise. Dr Tepper always made me feel proud of how much weight I lost and that I deserved to have my body reflect my hard work. As you can image when losing 125lbs, you have a lot of extra skin. That was a big hurdle for me. It seemed selfish but he made me see it differently. I will tell you there is a fair amount of emotions to deal with when having surgery and Dr. Tepper has an outstanding bedside manner because he truly cares. He spends as much time with you as you need and really listens to you and your fears and concerns. I did arms first then breast. I never planned on getting a tummy tuck. That absolutely terrified me and I told him so. But he would tell me that he would get me out of my girdle one day ( which I wore since I was 17 and I’m now 54!!!!!). True to his word, he got me out of my girdle. I was so pleased with my first two surgeries and the outcome that it took away my fear and I imagined a whole new life My tummy tuck was life changing for me, my confidence and of course my appearance. And I had nothing to be afraid of because I had very little discomfort to my amazement. It isnt just about how you look, but how you feel about yourself - that is the gift he gives you. He understands the emotional side of it and that is rare for a surgeon. Aftercare is amazing as well. It has been 4-5 years since I had my first surgery and every time I see him for something unrelated, he takes the time to look and check. And my scars are basically gone. You feel that he is invested with you not just for the surgery. I have never had an experience like that with any doctor.And if you need more reasons to choose Dr. Tepper, he is brilliant and a wonderful human being. He not only does aesthetic surgery but reconstructive surgery as well and is known internationally for his role in separating cojoined twins. He is a pioneer in 3D imaging and stem cell therapy. Isnt this the surgeon you want? YES. He is the surgeon you want.
Dr. Tepper’s professionalism and expertise is unparalleled. He’s friendly, confident, competent and efficient. My procedure was easily scheduled and done with very little discomfort. I was slightly nervous as we prepped for my lip filler and botox but Dr. Tepper took the time to fully explain the process and made me feel comfortable and safe. The recovery was easy and just as described. I had very little down time and with very minimal bruising. My lips look incredibly natural and more youthful and I could not be happier with the results!Dr. Tepper has also surrounded himself with an amazing staff. They are all very knowledgeable and extremely friendly.I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Tepper to friends and family knowing they too will get the results they seek. Dr. Tepper is a brilliant doctor, and is truly as good as it gets when it comes to plastic surgeons. (For the record, I cannot for the life of me understand ANY review that would suggest otherwise). He was personally recommended to me by my (extremely discerning) surgeon at Sloan Kettering after surviving a battle with cancer, and I could not have been happier with the results of the liposuction Dr. Tepper performed with utmost artistry and efficiency. His work is meticulous, aligned precisely with my hopes and dreams, and left me in virtually no pain. I also commend his awesome office staff for being incredibly responsive, kind and efficient. Theres a good reason why Dr. Tepper is world-renowned; hes the best of the best. Im so fortunate to have been his patient.
I believe Dr. Tepper to be a miracle man. I needed extensive reconstructive surgery following a rare form of eyelid cancer. Both upper & lower lids had to be removed along with my eye. Finding a plastic surgeon who would touch me was near impossible. I thought that I would have to wear my ‘vanity patch for the rest of my life. And then my ocular plastic surgeon spoke with this very young plastic surgeon at Montefiore hospital about my case. He agreed to meet with me. It has taken several surgeries over 8 years but not only do I no longer wear an eye patch there are people who don’t even notice anything different from my good eye. I can’t even begin to express his level of talent, skills and compassion. I will forever be indebted to Dr. Tepper.
I had heard raving reviews about DR Oren Tepper for years from independent sources and decided to make an appointment for Botox. I normally don’t leave reviews but the entire experience and especially the results were outstanding: Dr Tepper took the time to listen to my concerns and to consult me. It’s evident that Dr Tepper genuinely cares about his patients’ well-being. He made sure to keep the look natural, while smoothing all my lines. I feel refreshed and look relaxed. As per his practice , everyone who worked there was professional and carrying. I will certainly come back, especially now that I hear that he is opening a practice in Soho/Tribeca area, which I see as a major upgrade to the downtown community… at least to me :)
When I broke my nose many years ago I had a wonderful experience with Dr Tepper. He was patient & compassionate, he went out of his way to put me at ease every step of the way, my surgery was a success, and I had zero pain in the days that followed. When I broke my nose again 2 weeks ago (ugh!) I went right to Dr Tepper and once again I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Dr Tepper is not only an excellent surgeon but it’s obvious he really cares about his patients and is an overall nice guy! I highly recommend.
Dr. Tepper has always been extremely professional and thorough every time I have visited. I recommend him to family and friends constantly. I can’t say enough good things about his work and attention to details.
I have had two procedures with Dr. Tepper, my nose and breasts, and both came out amazing. My surgeries weren’t necessarily just cosmetic but also reconstructive. I broke my nose badly ten years ago, and he was able to make it look and function better than before I broke it while still making it look natural. My breast’s were the same. One just basically fell while my other was nice and perky. I did not want a lollipop scar or huge implants (I was already naturally big).. neither were even close to an option, so the best route was a donut lift with small implants for some extra volume up top (yay no more push up bras.. or bras period). While I knew the donut lift came with some complications (I did a lot of research before) I was willing to take the risk. He made me feel very comfortable in both situations and listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to talk me into anything more. I would 100% go to him again for any surgeries I might want in the future.
Ive been a patient with Dr. Tepper since 2016. One thing that I adore about this man is the more you get to know him, you see clearer his personal mission statement when it comes to taking care of his patients. I was born with a cleft and since working with him, the cleft repair he has done for me so far, and the reconstructive rhinoplasty that he had done to me, my confidence has gotten way up (Im an actor and my confidence has always there before, but people can VISIBLY see my confidence now). Dr. Tepper is the first doctor who I recommend ANYONE to. Its an honor and a privilege to have him as my doctor. I can only tell you my experience and the difference in my life he made for me, so please feel free to look at this before and after picture from this surgery I had with him back in January of 2021! I couldnt be happier with my experience. Dr. Tepper & his team provided exceptional service and Im extremely pleased with the results. Dr. Tepper made the whole process easy; I knew I was in good hands from the consultation to post-surgery.
Is this person a doctor or a dentist? Not sure what the whole deal is here but seems like a jack of all trades and master of none. First and foremost, the experience of Dr. Teppers office was a bit of a cluster-you-know-what but I gave them a chance since I was referred to them by someone trusted. They were working out of one doctors office, then moved to another and then was told to go to a dentists office for consult on some 3d lip procedure they were starting? I thought I came to see a doctor not a dentist. Excuse my forwardness, but isnt it a bit weird for a doctor and dentist to be collaborating on something they neither have experience in with regards to lip procedures? Shouldnt this be left to a derm or someone thats NOT a dentist! This is the classic example of every patients worse nightmare and it was seemingly becoming obvious to me. I was taken back by all the back and forth and confused by the entire experience. I normally wouldnt express such words in a review such as this but just felt it for the greater good to inform my fellow consumers who may be swayed by such sleazy tactics. Let me take a step back and elaborate I was attempting to get a plastic surgery consult when referred by another practitioner and but was met with nothing but confusion, lack of transparency and more or less a highly unprofessional experience to try to guide my consultation another direction.While Im all about taking a medical professionals advice in most cases but herein lies the lack of trust and professionalism that was obviously absent in the whole experience.
Went in for a consult for one thing and got pushed in the direction of another procedure. Typical bait and switch behavior He tried to recommend I go to his dentist to get some new mouth procedure he patented. Sounds like nothing but smoke and mirrors trying to tell me I never have to use filler again. Should have read his reviews early on to see that this is a common theme. Worse consult Ive gotten in multiple opinions and the office staff was a cluster-you-know-what!
Wish I had a better experience as I wanted to give this plastic surgeon a chance as I’ve had bad experiences previously with other surgeons. Dr. Tepper proved to be no different, in fact far worse than others. Not sure if he’s even a real private practice plastic surgeon as he works out of a hospital and another older plastic surgeons office. He kept mentioning using 3D printing gimmick to try to book me for two surgeries which I did not need. He seemed to be all over the place saying he is Multi specialty board certified and when I looked him up seems like he does more reconstructive work and plastics is not his core. Kept on trying to name drop and mention all his press and claiming he’s “famous” and has been on tv etc. Top surgeons Ive dealt with lead with reputation and good word of mouth of patients not trying to impress people with silly ceeditials and 15 seconds of fame. Couldn’t get myself to trust someone who claims to be good at many skills when I could tell he can barely good at running a real business. Staff and office we also highly unprofessional to add insult to injury. In a city full of choices I advise you look wisely and not settle.
Pushy staff, rude and very unprofessional. Both the surgeon and office staff try to book you and upsell you on procedures you dont need. Went around for other consults and realized how the whole plastic surgery experience can be less predatory than the level of service I received at this office.
Highly professional, meticulous. Dr Tepper and his team made the entire process and procedure seamless and made an effort to ensure I was comfortable with every step. His team is great!
Dr. Tepper made sure I understood what to expect from my procedure. I cannot be happier with my results. I highly recommend Dr. Tepper.

2022-03-29Im so happy I was referred to Dr. Tepper and used him for my recent procedure (blepharoplasty). Im THRILLED with the results. From my very first appointment, I was confident that I had chosen the right doctor! Dr. Tepper was so patient and really listened to what I wanted. He came up with game plan and helped me understand exactly what my procedure would be like, and answered all of my questions (from pre-op testing to my follow-up appointments). He is the best surgeon - his level of care and attention to detail are exactly what you want in your doctor! His patient coordinator, Genevieve, is also incredible - shes so sweet and helpful. Dr. Tepper is the best!

2021-10-13Dr. Tepper is a one of kind nyc plastic surgeon. He gives amazing, natural results and is a true artist. You asks, he delivers tenfold. He is compassionate, listens then gives you what you want at a reasonable cost. I had breast implants and a tummy tuck and he gave me the EXACT look that I desired. He recreated my herniated belly from multiple pregnancies and it looks incredible. Thanks to him I got my body back better than before I had my children.

2021-09-16I had a neck lift with Dr. Oren Tepper in 2018. He wasn’t my original surgeon but my surgeon left the practice and I was reassigned to him. My nightmare began the day of surgery, I was asked to pay a few thousand dollars for liposuction because “Liz” his assistant forgot to submit the liposuction code to my insurance. I refused because it was a large cost at the last minute. Also, Liz scheduled me on a Friday, apparently neck lift patients must be seen within 24hrs but they aren’t open on Saturday’s so my procedure was completely cancelled due to both issues. I went home very upset since my spouse took off from work for my surgery. I kept receiving calls asking for the liposuction payment which I declined. Why I should I have to pay for her mistake? Dr. Tepper was so concerned about the liposuction fee that he suggested we do the neck lift without lipo at which point I said absolutely not! No lipo no surgery so I cancelled. I was called the next day and told the practice would eat the cost for the lipo and that I was rescheduled for that Tuesday. I am a weight loss patient and I was so desperate to get rid of my Turkey neck that I ignored all of the red flags!!! I never saw him again after surgery until 2yrs later! I saw a Nurse Practitioner yet I kept asking to see him because I had issues with my neck lift, ears, scars and etc. My right ear lobe was open for almost a year but they wouldn’t do anything about it so I was constantly scared of catching a infection. My scars hurt from possible nerve damage. My face had a deep hole which caused asymmetry and just made me feel and look an overall MESS! I kept complaining but they wouldn’t let me see him. Finally 2yrs later he sees me and tells me I look great, you will see my pictures, I did NOT look great! He also had me consult with his higher up, who also said I look great. I left that office in tears because I looked horrible and this was clearly a cover up. I tried to get him to fix it but he refused and left me this way! I’m sure because I was a Medicaid patient but maybe don’t take Medicaid patients if you can’t be bothered with them afterwards? My insurance paid 47K for this procedure yet he couldn’t be bothered to help with the Cobra Neck deformity he caused. A good Surgeon would have tried to fix the problem, not lie to the patients face and make her feel like she’s delusional. When I opened up a investigation thru my insurance he lied and told them he referred me to another surgeon and that he offered to fix it, it took me forever to get my insurance to cover the revision because they kept lying. My neck looked so bad, it was fatter on one side and very noticeable, he left tons of fat behind and took too much from other sides which caused the asymmetry. My ears hurt so bad where the scars were. I finally found another surgeon who recently redid my neck and ears but it’s a long and painful road to recovery. I hear this Man has now opened up his own surgical center. I truly hope he has malpractice insurance because he’s going to need it! I waited 3yrs to post this, I am in bed recuperating from surgery less than a week ago and in a lot of pain but grateful I finally found a good surgeon. The moral of the story isn’t that Oren Tepper is a horrible surgeon, more so the fact that he won’t own or fix his mistakes. I just wanted him to fix it and he just wanted more cash in his pocket to fix what he damaged! Hippocratic Oath?!? Dr. Oren Tepper clearly doesn’t care about that!

2021-10-18Dr Tepper is a fabulous Doctor! He did my eye lift & a few other small procedures. My main concern was to look refreshed & not over done. Results were amazing & delivered on all of my expectations. I’ve referred Dr Tepper to other friends as well!

2021-10-27I had an abdominoplasty last September. Dr. Tepper was terrific from start to finish. He and his nurse practitioner Elyse were informative and supportive throughout. Always available for my many questions. Post op they checked on me often to make sure I was doing well. I am very happy with my results. I recommend Dr. Tepper highly.

2021-10-13I cant recommend Oren Tepper enough; hes the best! He walked me through his recommendations and why he recommended these procedures. Im almost 4 years post surgery and couldnt be happier wish my results. The personalized and individual care you will receive from Oren is incredible. Hes so passionate about his work and gave me the best advice; advice that other doctors hadnt given me. I had consults with four other doctors; but after my first consult with Oren I knew he was my surgeon. I completely trusted him and Im so glad and happy that I did all of his recommendations.

2021-09-21If I could give Dr. Tepper more than 5 stars I would. Working as a nurse I know how important a patient-surgeon relationship is. Dr.Tepper was attentive, caring, and most important honest during my plastic surgery journey. I have struggled for years with sagging breast tissue and different breast sizes, I was not happy with my body and wanted a change. Dr. Tepper guided me personally through the process. I had a breast lift along with axillary liposuction and feel (and look) 20 years younger! I could not be happier and forever thankful to Dr.Tepper for my amazing results!

2021-10-11Dr. Tepper is an amazing surgeon and just an overall wonderful person. He is very kind, brilliant and professional with a wonderful ability to put his patients at ease. My son (Rayan) had to have reconstructive surgery on his face (due to cancer) and we are so happy we were referred to Dr. Tepper. He was able to make the surgery as non-invasive as possible with minimal scarring, short recovery time and incredible results.Dr. Tepper was very honest and clear with us about the surgery, and our expectations. He explained to us that Rayan may need more surgery down the line as he grows, however the results are better than we expected and we couldn’t be happier. This surgery has really boosted Rayan’s confidence and we are so grateful to have Dr. Tepper as his surgeon.I would also like to thank his staff for being so wonderful, kind and professional.

2020-09-23Dr. Oren Tepper is an incredible brilliant surgeon. I had the BEST experience with him. He is a true artist and did beautiful natural work on me. His bedside manner was appreciated and very attentive. His staff leads by his example. They are so eager to make your experience as easy as possible. I would recommend him to everyone.
