There is no better PCP-MD Period. Case ClosedlI met Doctor Song on a July 4th weekend about 5 years ago (maybe 6) she had recently opened her practice. Not only was it one of the biggest holiday weekends of the year, she was also open on SUNDAY of that weekend. Very much in need of a doctor, I called, was told, come over and the rest, as the saying goes, is history. Doctor Song is compassionate, considerate, kind and caring and she tells it like it is, direct and to the point and will answer any and all questions. Since I met her she has cared for my son, his wife and my wife. Doctor Song goes the extra mile, works days, nights and weekends and before I forget, she has a great sense of humor. By now you must think I love her. I do. Thank you Doctor Song for always being there for myself and my loved ones.
Dr Xiaoyan song was my PCP since 2years. She’s very good with the patient, less wait times and quick service was offered and I was very happy with the service they provided but today when I went for my appointment the front desk lady was so rude to me. My insurance has been updated and the pcpcs name is not written and She told me to call my insurance and change the PCP’s name I told her I will do that later because my phone is not working properly but she insisted saying I have to change it right away and I know it was not a big issue if my phone had worked properly I would have changed it. I was in rush I had left my 2months old Breastfeeding baby in the parking area and went for the flu shot. I even called one day before and scheduled an appointment and they didn’t tell me anything about my pcps name but today the lady made me feel like they are unwilling to help their patients. They don’t even answer any question properly. From onwards I’m not going to see her. I’m changing my PCP right away. I’m not happy with the service.
It takes me a while to get to flushing, but I haven’t met a doctor who really makes me feel looking forward to seeing in NY other than Dr. Song. The office is run very efficiently, she’s very through, caring and she’s even very fun to talk to. Also, I enjoy lots of food options near her medical office, so there’s another huge plus!
Update: Thank you Dr. Song for dealing the matter professionally. Really appreciate your quick response. I have got the medicine now. I am giving a 4-star review for the time being. It may change to 5-star (thinking positive) depending on future dealings with the front desk.Very disappointed with the service. The doctor went on vacation without ordering refills for my mothers pressure and cholesterol medication. We saw the doctor on 08/04 and my mother told the doctor that she is out of medication for pressure and cholesterol. So, we had the impression that the doctor had ordered for refills, but when we went to CVS there were no refills ordered by the doctor. Then I called the doctors office and the customer service staff named Aby told me she can get it refilled by another doctor. So, I asked her if she can call me back and let me know the other doctor has processed the two drugs. Rather she told me I should call CVS and find out the status. I told her if I call CVS, they would take years to pick up and stressed that she should let me know. And she hung up on me. Such unprofessionalism was not expected at all. The doctor may be good, but definitely the staff(s) needs to work on her (their) professionalism. Definitely, not going to this Doctor anymore.
Has been my PCP for 2 years only because she seems to have great bedside manner, but her staff is consistently terrible. Recent visit, staff worker voiced displeasure at having to call in to verify my insurance eligibility (even though I had a check-up less than 6 months ago). They also only accept co-payments in cash/checks (not faulting them for this. just a tip). I waited awhile before they even told me they had to call for eligibility which was going to take another 20 minutes. What got me the most about my experience (and compelled me to finally change PCP) was that they let me walk out of the office without ever seeing the doctor or letting her know I was feeling ill. I checked myself into urgent care instead.
Amazing, dr.song and dr.yin there both so amazing and there hospitality is amazing. they go out of there way to make sure there patients are okay. i honestly enjoy going to them, after years of bad bed side manners from doctors and not taking my converns seriously, i finally found a place where they genuinely treat amazingly.
I called just to inquire. They pick up the phone and put me directly on hold for 10 mins. I hung up and called back and they directly hung up on me, before I could say anything. I called back after 3 mins and finally someone picked up and was able to talk to me and answer my question. Poor customer service.
My wife Zhou and I have been in Dr. Song Medical Center for nearly 10 years since we came to the United States. The doctors are benevolent, and we have received the consistent warm reception and meticulous medical care from Dr. Song and her medical team. The couple has maintained a healthy body and a happy mood for many years. We feel very lucky to have a doctor as good as Dr. Song in America.I would like to take this opportunity to highly recommend Dr. Song and her medical center to my friends. As long as you have come here once, you will have the same feeling as me! ! !
Dr. Song is very enthusiastic, professional and responsible! After I lived in Flushing a few years ago, the whole family saw this doctor! I also introduced a lot of relatives and friends to come, absolutely good! It’s busy here sometimes, but the front desk lady and nurse are very nice and the environment is good. Thank you Dr. Song!
I called my Empire medical insurance for more than half a month in advance, and I repeatedly confirmed that the front desk staff responded in a unified manner. The insurance in-network provider page also has information about the clinic. The medical examination appointment is 9/13/2019 at 9:00 am. I called again on 4/12/2019 to confirm whether I received my insurance and the reply was also received. I am going to let the front desk lady update my insurance card after 9:00 at the clinic today. She is very impatient to come up with a sentence, I haven’t arrived in your order, sit down!! I have never seen such a weak front desk, there is no way Wait, finally waited for more than 30 minutes. Then another premise lady called my name to say that I did not accept my insurance? ! What a joke! ! I asked when she started not to accept her and said that it was 4/1/2019. Since it was not started at the beginning of April, why didnt you inform me in advance? ? I wasted my time! ! It is better not to go to this low-level mistake clinic!
The front desk was very rubbish. I called for consultation for the first time today. A male receptionist answered the phone with a bad attitude. At first, he called someone to wait for nearly 10 minutes. I should have forgotten that someone was waiting online. Patience, I still wanted to go to this house. Seeing this attitude, I think its fine.

2022-04-01Dr. Song is the most nice, careful, reliable and competent doctor I met. She thoroughly analyzed my fathers medical conditions and referred him to the most suitable specialists. Her office opens seven days a week, whenever there was an emergency, we always got quick response and help. She deserves not just five but millions of stars!

2022-05-16I have been with Dr Song for many years. She is absolutely wonderful. I had changed jobs and they did not take my new insurance this was at the height of COVID so I could unpot speak to her to thank her being my Dr. I decided to send her a thank you note and soon after I got a call from her and she had the office manger take my insurance. It is a little frustrating that you have to book way in advance if you want to see her but all the PAs are great.

2022-04-29Service has gotten worse over the years. Long time patient here and cant even get seen by Dr Song herself. Front desk full of new people who are poorly managed. When you speak to the front desk, be prepared for everyone to know your business.

2019-06-16Most frustrating and rude experience with a lazy front desk staff and will not be going back. Bullied into paying a $40 copay for a routine yearly physical and forced to make an appointment and pay second $40 copay for simply picking up lab results despite NOT seeing the doctor at all. Office is not clean, will be switching to a more hygienic practice where there are no roaches and coffee grinds on my labs and front desk doesn’t throw lab results on the desk out of pettiness and anger.I came to this office for my yearly physical to have some forms filled out for my nursing program, and even though this was my YEARLY PHYSICAL the front desk receptionist repeatedly insisted I pay a copay of $40 even though I’ve NEVER paid a copay for a routine once a year checkup. I ended up paying to avoid a fuss as she became increasingly rude. I went back to pickup my forms and the receptionist insisted for the second time that I needed to pay $40 for picking up my forms and it would require me to make an appointment, even though I was not seeing the doctor and simply picking up my lab results. I told her I’d pay the $40 if she could just give me my results as I had a school deadline to catch, but she kept insisting it required a doctors appointment and time and effort for her to print and staple a few lab results in an empty doctors office. She told me to come back at 5pm when the office closes mind you - to discuss further instead and refused to give me my results. This office insisted several times I needed to make a “follow up”appointment and collect a copay from me for a second time when I would not be seeing the doctor and simply picking up lab results, which can be considered as insurance fraud. I felt like I was bullied by the front desk into paying copays that I shouldn’t have and I was in the wrong for having basic patient rights and access to my health records. It finally took a phone call from my dad who is also a nurse to get my lab results, which the receptionist threw at the table. Upon opening it I found a cockroach, and coffee grinds on the back. I don’t understand why I have to go through this - I will be switching doctors.

2021-02-25Great doctor and staff. I am very fortunate that there are still providers like her in my area who care about their patients and make sure they are taken care of. My appointments are usually speedy and without any delays even on the busiest days. I have called several times feeling sick and needing to be seen and they have accommodated me in. It is great to know that you can count on your primary physician when you most needed.Special thanks to their manager Vivi super sweet lady always around to deal with trouble shoots like me, coming in as walking with urgent attention care needed.

2021-10-27This review is strictly on the personnel running the office. Not to any Doctor specifically. I will give a negative if I can.I was in the office for my annual exam, upon arrival I was informed that Dr. Song is off today, I told them I was okay with seeing other doctor. The drama unfolds when I saw the doctor, apparently the lady I saw is not a doctor, she is a PA. I went ahead and discussed my concerns about a medical procedure since she has the medical background. While addressing my concern, she acknowledged that my concern was vaild, she cannot provide any additional data or reassurances. The choices for getting such procedure lies with the patient. At this point we are still on the same page.I then asked her if she can provide something in writing to confirm that I have spoken to my health provider and that they are unable to provide reassurances. She said she has to speak to her boss, this is a red flag and thats how I found out she is not a doctor. To give her credit, she is trying her best to accommodate me. But she is not the shot caller. After few back and forth, Ive requested to speak with doctor or whoever is in charge there. Then comes Helen, who is not a doctor nor an office manager. I asked for her title/position, she wasnt able to answer it. Helen insisted that the office will not issue any statement which addresses my concerns on the procedure. I was not going to discuss my medical issues with someone who doesnt have the knowledge or background. I pressed on and requested to speak to a doctor, she then said you already met the doctor (she meant the PA I saw earlier, and she said they are the same doctor). I told her no, they are not the same, I wanted to speak to MD, not PA, not NP. She then told me there is no MD on duty today. She further stated that I should go to other doctors office if I wish to speak with a MD. She then proceeded with closing my file with the office and instructed the front desk to give all of my medical documents back to me . She said she canceled my visit today. At this point I was furious and frustrated. To make the issue worst, they were going to charge me for copy of my medical records. I said are you fuxxking kidding me, you refused to provide my medical care, you closed my file. Im entitled to my medical records. This is BS on another level. Then comes this guy from the office threatened to call the police on me because I used a curse word. How ridiculous is that?!This is how this office treats their concerned paintet, having some non medically trained personnel to discuss medical concerns, by shovel the paintent out of the door when they know they have no backbone to stand on.Needless to say I didnt get my annual physical exam. This is a huge disappointment to this office. They have been my PCP for the past 10 years, its sad that they are now care more for the business than the actual medical care and responsibility.

2020-11-06Doctor Song is the BEST, I repeat THE BEST DOCTOR IN QUEENS. She cares for her patients and pay full attention to your concerns.I have been going there for years and all staff are nice. Yes, I agree like sometimes you have to repeat yourself many time to the staff due to the language barrier but trust me, they are nice. Windie is a nurse there and she is very nice.If you need someone to really pay attention and care for you, please go to Doctor Song. They are open everyday and you can just walk in. They take very precautions for COVID 19, you will feel safe there. They check temperature before you go inside, they have sanitizer everywhere and everyone has mask on.For parking, you can park in the street, it’s not easy but if you lucky enough you will find a spot. Especially by Bank of America or go straight pass the clinic and you will find parking by the buildings. I always park there for Free. Also, there’s like 3 parking lots to pay for parking.

2019-03-08I have to say I went through four primary doctors till I found Dr. Song. I spent a year looking for a doctor till I found her. She is amazing and the nurses are just as great. The new office is very nicely decorated and as always clean. I have walked out of doctors offices for being messy/dirty.She is someone that cares about her patients. The nurses are extremely friendly and most I have to say have a wonderful sense of humor. I have had a few health scares in the past few years and Ive always felt as if things were done efficiently and quickly. Im not the type of patient that goes once a year. Im in there probably every month or two if not more and I always leave feeling like my issues were addressed. Its amazing that I can get every done in one place, from a sonogram to blood work.

2016-10-26My last doctor always used to come into the room and go directly to his computer and start typing while asking questions. It was a quick visit and I was out with a prescription. And this was after waiting 2 hours at the waiting room... This may be great for some, but to me, it felt like there was a disconnect.I found Dr. Song through a friend of mine. Wait time is less than 10 minutes and so far, the last two visits have been highly personable. Not only is Dr. Song very thorough, but she is also very friendly with a great sense of humor. If you are looking to build a long term doctor-patient relationship, look no further. I have found my final destination, and will continue to get regular check ups!
