Its been very difficult to find the right psychiatrist so when I found Dr. Yang I was overjoyed. From our initial meeting, I was able to be honest and open as she is compassionate and professional. In the recent year, Dr. Yang has helped me to successfully taper off my medicine with her gentle guidance and encouragement - thank you Dr. Yang!
Life throws so many challenges that sometimes it is just way to hard to deal with alone, please seek help and talk with a professional. From my experience I feel the best approach was to seek a Genuine Doctor, that would listen, advice and encourage me in my situations. Having been seen by Dr. Yang for over 5 years, I highly recommend Dr. Yang. Also appointments are always on time and scheduling is a breeze. The clinic is clean, bright, and very comfortable.
I started seeing Dr Yu Yang last July. She has been a great help, and has been meticulous with my course of treatment. After a year, my illness has improved significantly and I am in a very stable place now. I would recommend Dr Yu Yang to anyone suffering with mental health issues, as she is empathetic, dedicated, and a terrific doctor.
I can’t even begin to explain how much Dr.Yang has helped me with my mental health journey. She really cares and it’s so easy to be open and honest with her. I’ve never felt judged by her and it’s made my journey to having a better more positive outlook on life regardless of my mental health issues much more easy. I struggled for years but in the almost 1year I’ve been seeing her my life has made a complete 180 for the better. Never be afraid to tell her how you’re feeling she cares and listen not just on the good days but the bad ones too and if you take medication she’s very open to hearing any comments and concerns. My advice is that if you want a good psychiatrist who will actually listen to you Dr.Yang is the one for you!
It takes me over one hour driving to see Dr Yang as I live in upstate NY, but I find the trip worthwhile. I feel better after seeing her. In the many years of seeing her, I’ve known her to be an excellent doctor, very professional, very ethical. She has never overcharged me for any visit or any work, and has even refunded me the part that I pay without my even asking, after my insurance payments changed. And unlike many psychiatrists who only prescribes medicine, Dr Yang also gives me good, sound psychological advice to help me cope with life. Dr Yang is someone who tries very hard to help me, a doctor I can rely on and trust.
I have been seeing Dr. Yang for over a year. My former psychiatrist retired and I was looking for another doctor. Dr. Yang is warm, kind, friendly and very professional. She is holistic in that she cares for both the physical and mental well being of her patients. She gives helpful advice when appropriate and she is always able to be reached by telephone or text. I would highly recommend her.
I started seeing Dr. Yang about a year ago. Shes a compassionate, kind and professional psychiatrist. She has helped me through many trials and tribulations. I found it refreshing that she doesnt want to simply medicate her patients. She truly desires to HELP them. She is empathic and understanding in her every approach and feel extremely lucky to have found her.
Over the years I had certain problems and never knew whats wrong with me. I started my treatment with Dr. Yang a couple of months ago. She listens very carefully with my concerns and provided me with the proper treatment. Throughout the months I saw improvement in my life. I was able to rebuild myself and many of my peers saw the improvement. It took time for the treatment to work, but being strong and wanting to change for the better is what kept me going. Dr. Yang provided really good counseling to me, the best part about her treatment is that she listens and explains things carefully. I really appreciate her time and dedication to helping me. In the beginning it was always tough, but having the courage to accept your problems and wanting to get better is what will keep you going forward in life.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Yang, she was able to help my daughter during a very stressful and difficult time. Although Dr. Yang may not specialize in pediatric psychiatry, she was able to help my daughter and keep me updated throughout the whole way. Dr. Yang also deeply respects patient confidentiality and she let me know what I could do to help my daughter from home. After seeing Dr. Yang for a year and a half now my daughter has greatly improved her mood and behavior. Overall Dr. yang has been an immense help.
Dr Yang is one of the best psychiatrist I’ve had the pleasure to go to. She’s very professional and cares about her patients. I always looked forward to my appointments with her. She allowed me to talk openly with her and made me feel comfortable with her from the very first appointment. Dr Yang helped start me on my road to recovery after other psychiatrists couldn’t. She also was available at times when I needed help or just to talk. I would recommend Dr Yang to everyone who needs to see a caring, professional psychiatrists on an individual basis. She was always very kind and positive. If you need a psychiatrist please reach out to her. She changed my life for the better and I know she has and can do the same for others. Thank you Dr Yang! I was blessed to have found her.
Dr. Yang is the best psychiatrist I ever met. I have seen several psychiatrists during the time of fighting with my mental health issues. For the first time ever I feel like someone understands what I’m going through and knows how to treat me, it is Dr. Yang. She is genuine and cares about me as a patient to the point where she seeks outside help in addition to her treatment. She’s do knowledgeable that she made me feel safe with her treatment.
Dr. Yang released me from my personal spiral. She is compassionate, caring, dedicated and a credit to her profession. When I first walked in her office, I felt it was the end of my world. I told her my story during a regular appointment and she immediately confiscated the medication prescribed by my other doctors and stated I am going to help you. Her mild manner, empathy and commitment was soothing and encouraging. She gives a combination of medication when its needed, in addition to counseling. As a support she follows up with all her patients. Thank you Dr Yang, for your understanding heart and good nature. I respect and trust you, putting me at ease and giving me more confidence to live my life. If you should find yourself overwhelmed by circumstances or by life in general, as a potential patient, I highly recommend Dr. Yang.
Those who see Dr.Yang are truly lucky as she is a wonderful person and a joy to see. She is the type of provider that makes you feel confident and overjoyed to have her in your corner if ever in need. From the moment you step into her office, she makes you feel welcome, cared for and leaves you feeling cheery. Her consistent positive energy and attentive nature is truly remarkable. At first, I was nervous about seeing someone as seeing help isnt always easy but her well managed office made it quick and easy to manage appointments and other aspects of your care. Additionally, her warm smile and manner makes you feel so comfortable discussing honestly and openly. I am so beyond glad that I started seeing Dr.Yang as she really loves her career and it shows she is trained well. She is simply the best!
I am back to Dr. Yang.Dr. Yang is my first psychiatrist, I received a great care from her. However, my company changed my medical insurance in the beginning of this year, so Dr. Yang is not my in-network provider anymore, meaning I have to pay from my pocket since after. At that time, my symptoms got improving, and I was stable with monthly followup with Dr. Yang. In order to save money, I left from her and went to another psychiatrist. After a couple months treated in other medical office, I realized that I was wrong of leaving from Dr. Yang. Without comparison, you never know how professional Dr. Yang is and how nice her office is! Definitely, I decide to come back to Dr. Yang, and will resume to see Dr. Yang even I have to pay from my pocket for the visits, it does worth it!
Five years ago, I was very worried and stressed out because I had to find a new doctor, a psychiatrist. I was under the care of my previous psychiatrist who was retiring. I am so glad, actually, so grateful that I found Dr Yang. In these 5 years Dr Yang has helped me so much! in a variety of mental issues and life issues. She’s caring, compassionate, and she understands you and your mental state. Dr Yang is very diligent and works very hard to make sure I am getting the care that I need. She makes me feel that I am not alone, that she’s there for me. I am so thankful and grateful she’s my doctor.
I haven’t known Yu yang very long but already feel very comfortable with her. She has a welcoming and understanding demeanor that’s apparent even in the first few minute you talk to her. Her initial evaluation was very thorough and she listens closely to what you’re saying. —an often overlooked but extremely crucial part of recommending treatment—whether that be medicine, talk therapy, or both. I look forward to our continued work in progress together. I feel like she is on my team. That is special.
I have been seeing Dr. Yang for a few years now, and she is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. She is a calming and empathetic presence who is really good at what she does. She was able to find the right medication to help me and, now that I’m doing better, is helping me reduce those meds. She really cares about her patients and notices all the little things that make up the big picture of a person.
Dr Yang is an amazing doctor. She has helped several people in my family including myself. She is easy to reach by text and responds fairly quickly. I find her very caring and compassionate. I travel from Long island to Forest Hills to see her. Honestly after seeing several other psychiatrist I appreciate having such a wonderful dr.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Yang for a few years now and I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a good mental health doctor. She has worked with me to figure out what medications are a good fit for me. She listens to her patients, and was very accommodating and reachable when I had a constantly changing work schedule.
I have been Dr. Yangs patient for 3 years at Forest Hills. I have been dealing with anxiety for most of my adult life. Dr. Yang and her team help me keep it under control. I like getting therapy from her, and shes very kind and supportive to my job as an accountant and to my family. I recommended my friend to Dr. Yang and her team too.
Dr Yang has been my psychiatrist for 2 years. She Has helped me tremendously and I owe her credit getting my mental health back in shape. She goes above and beyond for her patients. One of my medications my insurance wouldn’t cover, so for about a year she gave me free samples. She fought the insurance company for me to get my medication covered, now I have coverage. I highly recommend.
How is this individual a practicing doctor? Unprofessional, rude, condescending, and a disgrace. Instead of treating a person in need, she refuses services. She wants to get paid so she makes sure she gets her money, but in treating someone who is struggling with depression, insomnia, hormonal, and knows they are in real need and refusing until it is convenient for you, is beyond disgraceful and can be reported to the board. Which will be reported.
Dr Yang is very professional. When I first came here, I suffered from insomnia. She prescribed me with the sleep medicine that immediately improved my sleep quality. Through the half year visit, I feel a lot better and get my normal life back together. I also feel more confident and relaxed in my life. Thank you, Dr. Yang!
Dr. Yang has been phenomenal. Shes always taken the time to understand and listen to me, and provides great dialogue as well as explaining why she recommends one path of treatment over the other. Furthermore, she provides ideas and insights, beyond simply medication, on how we can better ourselves and remain healthy.
Dr, Yang is excellent. She is extremely professional and Responsive. She’s a really good listener and she is patient and attentive. She does her job very thoroughly, I would recommend her to anyone reading this, I’m definitely lucky to have found such a genuine and knowledgeable psychiatrist, 5+ stars.
I have been seeing Dr. Yang for just over 2 years. Prior to that, l had been struggling with depression . After just one visit to her l started feeling much better. She is always so ready to listen to everything and prescribes the best!!Now l am in such good spirits, and I feelLike l am almost like my old self again!!Thanks to her!!!!
I was referred to Dr.Yang by my family doctor. I have been dealing with anxiety and depression since high school and now as i struggle to advance my career, my anxiety and depression became worse. It was so horrible that it started to interfere with my daily living and work, so i reluctantly decided to make an appointment. As soon as I met Dr. Yang I could tell she could be trusted and her calm demeanor kept me calm in my anxious, depressive state. She listened actively to what i was feeling and understood, showing empathy. I was so terrified to be on medication because of the mental illness stigma out there in the world, but she was supportive and explained how it would help, answering any questions i had. It turned out that the medication changed my life and gave everything that anxiety and depression took away from me most of my life. 2 years later i am a healthier person and i am grateful i found this psychiatrist who worked with me. I am forever grateful to Dr.Yang for helping and caring to make sure i was getting the best possible help! Aside from medication she also expresses the importance of living a healthy and balanced life.
Dr. Yu Yang is a wonderful doctor. She is a compassionate woman with a good heart. She is an extremely talented professional psychiatrist. I highly recommend Dr. Yu Yang. She has been my Doctor for over 4 years and has guided me through major depression , PTSD and couple counseling. I am very grateful to have her in my life!
Dr. Yang keeps up to date with current medicinal guidelines and is willing to work with you wherever you are currently at. She is a great listener and compassionate doctor who tries to understand where you are coming from and helps you meet your goals. She can also help you with therapy if you are not in already.
I’ve been going to Dr. Yang since my last years of college, when I developed anxiety and depression. She has been extremely helpful in not only listening to my concerns, but also discussing steps that can help relieve my stress related to other aspects in my life. Highly recommend.
After my 1 star review, Dr. Yang reached out to me in several messages and even called me. I hope she was this concerned about me when I was her patient. But instead, she threatened that she will close my case if I ever miss her appointment when I was her patient. Even when I asked whether I can see her every month instead of every 2 weeks due to her high fees, she said no very sternly. I’ve been to other psychiatrist who were much more patient, loving, understanding and kindhearted. She had no empathy and like others mentioned, acted like a tiger mom judging my concerns and worries instead of empathizing. See other negative reviews that relate to my experience. And please don’t call me or message me to change my review, but instead be more attentive to your current patients. This makes me wonder whether all her reviews are indeed truthful as she constantly calls after my review.
You know all the things people say psychiatrists dont do? Things like checking on your overall health, Things like getting a thorough background on you before diagnosing you?Dr. Yang did all of that for me. She asked important questions and when i comes to treatment, she really listens to your concerns. She explains everything to you and she guides you out of the woods.I feel lucky to have found Dr. Yang.Highly recommended.
I am so lucky to have Dr Yang as a psychiatrist for my mother, she is professional and her ability to relate to patients is exceptional. She is compassionate and highly motivated.I can recommend Dr. Yang without reservation to any person in need of psychotherapy and medical treatement.
I’ve been seeing dr Yang for two years, I’m usually really bad with mental health care doctors but she’s been a wonder for me! I finally have something that actually works thanks to her super caring methods. I feeL my situation has vastly improved! Office is very clean & wait time is very short! I definitely recommend her!
Im a patient of Dr. Yang. I dealt with a bad psychiatrist before who basically wrote a script without talking to you and Dr. Yang is nothing like that. She is easy to talk to, caring, empathetic and motivating when I began seeing her; I felt great and was beginning to have a great outlook towards life and then I dealt with the shocking death of my significant other I called her and she took me in the next day despite having a busy schedule. Dr. Yang helped me slowly recover from my loss, she gave me advice to better myself and distract myself from what I was dealing with like working out, exploring NYC, making new friends etc... Ive taken her advice and taking my medication and I feel great. If it wasnt for her I really dont want to think about what i would of felt like. I strongly recommend Dr. Yang to anyone who is confused about what they are feeling and their quality of life is poor. She did something for me not even my family wanted to do and that was to help me get better as a person and saw a great potential in me that I was blind to.
I just need to start of by saying thank you so much for being a driving factor towards achieving the peace of mind I always wanted for so long in life. Dr.Yang has not only helped better my mental health but my overall quality of life. It didnt happen overnight, but she openly stated its up to you to work with me in order to see progress. I came to Dr. Yang riddled with anxiety and so depressed that I dreaded existing. I can honestly say that Im thrilled to see Dr.Yang at every appointment. So if your looking to improve your quality of life and are willing to make sacrifices; Shes the best guide on this journey.
For as long as I can remember I was suffered with anxiety and depression. I was finally able to see a big improvement in my menal health with Dr. Yangs help. She is caring and also gives constructive feedback and advices to help me with my life moving forward. I feel the best that Ive ever felt in a long time, all thanks to Dr. Yang.
I have been coming to Dr. Yang since September 2018. She has helped me with many aspects of my life. Through non-narcotic medications she has gotten me to be able to sleep up to seven hours a night which was previously unattainable. She is a wonderful woman and an expert in her craft.
Once in a while, a patient encounters a doctor who rises above the rest. For me, that doctor is Yu Yang. After what felt like one thousand medical professionals, I stumbled across Dr.Yang- and she changed my life. Why? Because she has a unique ability to listen without judgement. For me, a person struggling in a world where no one would ever think I had any problem at all, she helped me through it. Her expertise is exceptional and I highly recommend her, especially for any of you that have tried, and tried again, without success to find help.
Yu Yang is amazing. Ive seen various therapists who could never quite understand or listen to me. She listens and understand you right away. The weight has been lifted since finding her! She is beyond knowledgeable and resourceful and for that I am so grateful. Thank you, Dr Yang!
After being clinically depressed for many years and seen a host of Drs who have misdiagnosed my depression with bipolar etc and I knew it was totally not that until I met Dr Yang who has given me choices. She is very patient, she listens and she gives you a choices of medications. After seeing her for 2 years I am depression free, medication free. She is not only a good Dr. She is an Awesome one.
I was a patient of Dr.Yangs years ago and due to a couple of reasons was unable to continue seeing her. I found myself in the position of having to see someone again and went to a few other doctors closer to my home. Walking out each time and feeling worse and worse with each visit. I finally reached out to Dr.Yang again. Not only did she fit me in the same day I called, her office was calming, inviting, and comforting. I will never see anyone else. Seeing Dr.Yang was like coming home from a terrible vacation. I am confident in her skills and care. There is no better.
When I first met Dr. Yang about a year ago I was going through a particularly dark, difficult time. This was on top of what felt like a lifetime of depression and anxiety. Id been fighting these little mental monsters for so long that Id forgotten what my life had been like before I knew about depression. Id also resigned myself to the idea that this was just my new normal. Id essentially stopped believing in a light at the end of the tunnel and just made sure to have a flashlight and batteries on hand. (Better than nothing!)This mindset was perpetuated by previous experiences with mental health professionals. Previous psychiatrists left me feeling like another name on a clipboard, just another person to shove a script toward and push out the door. Id also experienced plenty of therapists that were kind and well-meaning but too often met my gaze with that of a pitiful condescending one. (This is arguably a worse feeling than being prescribed a SSRI cocktail - a cocktail that often dubiously gets higher and higher in milligrams...)Working with Dr. Yang has been different than any of my past experiences. For starters, she did not encourage large amounts or doses of medication, instead suggesting a very manageable low dose and never giving me the impression that the medicine was there to be a mental pacifier. Dr. Yang is also different in the way that she has never made me feel like I was a patient. There are never any pitiful looks, no condescending broad pieces of advice I couldve gotten off of a motivational quotes Google search. Maybe thats just the type of patient I am but I can tell she actively tries to show me she takes me seriously because I need her to. Her way of giving me advice or reassurance works so well with me - gentle words, matter of fact attitude, and occasional reminders of my own personality traits, things I already have inside of me that I can equip myself with - that I can only assume shes like this with everyone, that she talks to you in a way that works for You. Honestly, she has a way of making you feel like youre just sitting down for afternoon tea, chatting about whats been going on lately. Its that comfortable presence and her attention to detail that make you feel like youre her only patient. She sympathizes with the things that weigh me down and celebrates with me when I reach personal milestones.I genuinely trust Dr. Yang with my thoughts in a way that I have never been able to with any other mental health doctors! With mental health being such a personal thing it can be hard to find someone you trust to help you, let alone find someone you can trust after you feel youve been let down before! Your therapists/psychiatrists are supposed to be the pit crew to your race car, the coach in the corner of the boxing ring helping you take your punches and dish them back out. Im very grateful for Dr. Yangs participation in my life and grateful to have found someone I can count on to help keep me both accountable and encouraged as I continue down the path of living to my full potential.Oh, and by the way, in case you were wondering - there IS a light at the end of the tunnel. Its real and I know this because I finally walked through it myself. It gets better, especially if you have a good support system like that of Dr. Yang.
This was my very first time seeing a psychiatrist. Ive been going through a great deal and felt like I needed a professional outsider. I spoke with Dr. Yang by phone and then scheduled the appt. Lovely office. We sat an talked about 30 minutes. She seems ok, concerned, professional, empathic. I didnt care for the immediate conversation of hospital and meds. However, Im ok with continuing on with a few more sessions.
Most bad reviews from this practice stems from paperwork. After seeing her for 2 years, I find her okay, but we didn’t click. I didn’t feel comfortable opening up to her; maybe I find her judgmental or disingenuous. But in order to earn one star:- She texted me to confirm an appointment less than 24hrs before the appointment and told me there was a cancellation fee of $50, billed to me, not the insurance. So I went to the office drowsy, highly contagious, and coughing everywhere (no cough medicine from her though).- She threatened to closed my file once when I missed an appointment due to sickness and I had to canceled another appointment due to work. I tried to reschedule, but she couldn’t fit me in and I had to be bumped into next month. When we met subsequently the next month, she gave a whole lecture like a tiger mom to a child on missing appointments. It felt as if her true colors emerged and the sympathetic, empathetic person you were talking to was just fake.- This is kinda weird, but just to note: Dr. Yang doesn’t know her months. We have many scheduling mishaps because she doesn’t know January, February, or October. Stick to number format MM/DD/YY when communicating via texting.Overall, I think she would benefit if she has a receptionist so that she can separate herself from the screenings, appointments, and billing.
Excellent doctor . Her personality makes it easy to remove your stigma and share your mental health concerns with her. Listens to you to makes sure that the medication she prescribes is what you need to become that better you that you allways wanted to be. Helped with my hyperhidrosis(excesive sweaty palms, armpits)
I suffer from a debilitating illness and childhood trauma from an abusive father and this is exactly what I told Dr. Yang at our first consultation, I also asked if she would be able to write a brief simple letter just stating that I am seeing her for these two reasons in hopes that I would be able to take the letter to the authorities and file a stay away order since he is still to this day bothering me. She didn’t give a response so I assumed she would try and help me being her patient and also offering to give her numbers and names to physicians that she can call to verify everything I was saying was true. At my fifth consultation I told Dr Yang that I was flying out to Ca. Where I’m originally from and asked if she can please write me a simple letter for the reason I was seeing her and what she diagnosed me with because I really wanted to get help to have my dad stay away from me and out of my life! I was shocked when she told me no , it’s not something that she does and it’s her own policy. Then I asked, well can I at the very least give your name and number to whoever I come across for help and needs to verify that I’ve been seeing you ? She said “no, I won’t answer” I was so shocked! I’ve been to a few other physicians where at the very least they will try and help their patient in the smallest capacity and others that will go out of their way to really help to protect their patient. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH DR. YANG! She had no problem handing her hand out to take my cash payment but when it came to do the very little and simplest thing she denied me. She does not want to be bothered by anything extra or be moved out of her comfort zone! If you really need help FIND SOMEONE ELSE!
I v been suffering metal illness for decades. I know I am picky for things including doctors. I am keeping changing my doctors in past years until I met Dr. Yang, who is my fifth psychiatrist and I have been seeing her for more than one year. She is such a nice, professional doctor, listening, advising, and I dont think I will switch to other psychiatrist anymore.
Very dedicated professional service and treatment from Dr. Yang who has greatly helped me with my mental health needs. If you are looking for a good psychiatrist who does their job very well and cares about the patient then I recommend you visit this office and make an appointment with Dr. Yang...
I called them to inquire. I found them online because they take my insurance and because they had good reviews, it seemed.... there was no answer.Suddenly, however, I receive a text message on my mobile phone asking if I had contacted them; this was very odd for me to receive a text like that. Anyway, I asked via text if they accepted my insurance 1199 and Medicaid. First thing they asked is “ you have both?” I said yes. Then they asked to call me to clarify. I said OK.I got phone call from an Asian sounding lady stating she was from Dr Yang’s office. It was difficult understanding this lady. And when I asked her what is your name, or if you are front desk or the manager, she kept saying “I’m from dr yang’s office”. I found that very unprofessional. The first thing she was again asking me was “how do you have two insurances”. I said I have Medicaid and 1199 from my employer. She continues to ask me “do you work? How do you have 1199”? I say, “yes, obviously I work and I get 1199 from my employer”. So she continues questioning me stating “so if you work, how do you have Medicaid?” I found this entire conversation extremely ridiculous. But I played along, and I told her the truth “yes I am employed part time and I receive 1199 through my insurance, and because our income is still very low (we are a family of 5), we still receive Medicaid”. So after she heard this explanation, she told me “ok, we take 1199 but we don’t take Medicaid”. That really infuriated me further because I was thinking, ‘why did you even start asking me about my personal stuff when you don’t even take Medicaid!’But anyway, now she started asking me “ok so let’s talk about the problem you are having so that I can make you an appointment”. I told her “my wife has depression and she has severe anxiety”. Then she tells me “oh, I need to speak to the patient”. I told her “I am calling for my wife, she doesn’t want to talk” She tells me “we only talk to the patient”. I tell her “i am her husband!” And then I had it and I tell her “thank you for nothing!” And I hang up.The reason I called for my wife is because my wife is severely depressed and in tears and cannot even talk to anyone.I’m almost done with nursing school, and my wife is almost done with nurse practitioner school. Whoever this was that I have spoken to, does not care about you and she was extremely unprofessional and lacking in empathy or ethics. I cannot believe that this office has almost 5 star reviews online. No care, no accommodations, no thank you.I will never come to such a place.
It has been almost a year since I started seeing Dr.Yang and she has definitely helped me tremendously, last time around this year I was miserable, dealing with anxiety and depression, I started seeing Dr.Yang and she was absolutely compassionate listening to all of my problems and giving me the best advice on how to make changes to improve my mood, she is understanding and always makes sure your medication is helping you, I am absolutely thankful for Dr.Yang and the improvements shes helped me make within a year.
I call this doctor to inform her that at the moment I need help and I’m not feeling ok. She ask if I smoke and because I replied YES she’s gonna tell me oh I don’t think I can help you. EXCUSE ME THAT IS NOT RIGHT FOR YOU TO JUDGE SOMEONE WITH A MENTAL HEALTH BECAUSE OF THE ACTIONS THEY TAKE TO CALM THEIR PANIC ATTACKS! If you believe me smoking wasn’t a good idea then maybe setting me up for a visit and discussing with me better options would have been best. Instead she chose to judge me and say she can’t see me. She needs a reality check and maybe the health department should pay her a quick visit!!!
Oof, thats the only word I have to say. Caused me to lose my job, didnt reply to my managers to process my leave of absence accurately. Closes my case and leaves me with a script to something that has crippling withdrawal effects.Welcome to America, innit? Going back in England. Haha. Cheers.
I’ve worked with Dr. Yang for about four years now, and feel immensely grateful for her. Dr. Yang’s dedication to my overall well-being, providing information and care, and genuine advice really helped me progress so much in my mental health journey. I highly recommended Dr. Yang!
I am a patient who has suffered from severe anxiety and depression. In the second half of 2015, I felt that I didnt want to communicate with people outside, or I often suspected that I had a physical illness. I always felt that my stomach was painful to walk, and I had no strength to speak. I went to Hong Kong to see it, and all the doctors said that the uterus is okay. Also, I always feel that I have no interest in talking to others, I always feel nervous and sweaty when I encounter some things, and my whole body feels very cold. Under such circumstances, my mood is so low that I want to die. Later, I returned to the United States and passed My family doctor referred me to Dr. Yang, and I went to see Dr. Yang for the first time. My son and daughter also accompanied me. When I saw Dr. Yang, I started to fluctuate and cry. I told Dr. Yang about my physical condition and very unhappy. Under the careful and patient treatment of Dr. Yang, my condition began to show signs of relief. Under the continuous care and treatment of Dr. Yang, I was unhappy and always suspected that there was something wrong with my body. This feeling gradually disappeared. After a few months of therapy, I feel like Im starting to get interested in life and work. Here I am very grateful and grateful to be able to receive Dr. Yangs treatment, support, help, and concern. I am today because of Dr. Yang. Right now, my life is full of hope, vitality, happiness 😃, contentment, every day is going well 👍Thanks to my dear Dr. Yang 👩⚕️❤️❤️🙏🙏
My husband has been ill for more than ten years and has not received good treatment in China, so that his condition is getting more and more serious. I found Dr. Yang for treatment in July 2017. After taking the medicine for the first month, there is obvious effect. After her I have gradually adjusted the medicine. Now I have no symptoms and my mind is calm. Our life has improved a lot with my husbands recovery. I am very happy. Dr. Yangs serious treatment attitude and superb medical skills have made me admire, thank you very much!

2022-02-18I have been seeing Doctor Yang for a few years now and I think she’s amazing. She makes you feel comfortable. Listens to you. She’s not just a doctor that is just going to prescribe you medication and move on to the next client. If anything she is very careful in what she is prescribing and doesn’t give you what you do not need. She is very careful when it comes to medications and dosing. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist who will give you the help and comfort you need but haven’t found it with any other psychiatrists. Give Dr Yang a chance. I love her and think she’s amazing.

2022-01-06I have been Dr. Yangs patient for 3-years. Prior to the pandemic, I would visit her office for therapy. She is a good listener, writes important information from our conversations, and uses them to continue our monthly sessions. Dr. Yang fully understands me as she uses our time to discuss possible therapies that can help me, my emotions, and stress. Having ample knowledge for first generation American born Chinese, she knows exactly what I am experiencing. Her work does not stop there. Since the pandemic we proceeded with phone sessions that can last from 30-minutes to 1-hour. Dr. Yang does not rush me to finish my thoughts, and she still takes the time to help me navigate my energy to alleviate my emotional distress. She also has knowledge of technology, which is tremendously useful if I ever need to text her if I ever feel the need to speak to her. I think Dr. Yang is a great doctor.

2022-05-14For two years, Dr. Yang has been my psychiatrist after the devastating passing of my loved parent and I can say that with her help, Ive been able to get myself back on a path of self sufficiency and better mental health. Shes charismatic, kind and is amazing at making me know that I could trust her and her judgement. I should mention that that feat is difficult considering that I personally am very anxious and not so easily trusting of others with my past and traumas. Her professionalism always help me feel so reassured of her skill and care of me. I never felt worried about anything I reveal to her and shes always managed to bring a smile to my face while lifting the mental burden I bear off of my shoulders. For all of the above, Im so thankful for her support. Id recommend her easily to anyone. She really is worth working with.

2021-12-01Dr. Yang is a very good doctor! My first office visit, she prescribed the right treatment for me. I went to a few doctors whose treatments had very strong side effects which I could not handle. My anxiety symptoms were getting worse, and it was leading to depression. I found Dr Yang through goggle search and made an appt. The medication she gave worked best for me. She was very bold with me in taking the treatment so I can get better. She advised me that I have a family and needed to be there for them but I needed to get help. I’m thankful and grateful she was so stern with me. I took the treatments and followed her professional advise. Slowly I was on my way to hear myself laugh again. It’s been over two years and I have greatly gotten better. She assured me the medication does not have to be long term. She was right! I was able to ween off somewhat based on her guidance. Today, I’m able to work, put my life back on track and help my family. I’m so thankful to her that she helped me through an ordeal where everything had felt very gloomy. I highly recommend Dr. Yang to those suffering from anxiety and depression! She will guide you properly! Thanks Dr. Yang! Appreciate all you help!Sincerely Debbie J.

2021-09-23My experience with Dr. Yang was extremely helpful and positive. I did my research before seeking her help and realized it was one of the best choices I had made. She was very knowledgeable and thorough when it came to creating a treatment plan specifically for myself. She was very receptive to everything I shared with her and showed great care in using all that information to aide in my treatment. I trusted her professional opinion and suggestions at all times because I had no doubt it was all in my best interests and would help me recover fully. I am proud to say that under her treatment I did nothing but improve and return to a great state of mental, emotional, and physical health. I highly recommend her, as I’m certain while under her treatment and following her plan, advice, and guidance you will recover tremendously. 2021-12-02Doctor Yang has been one of the greatest doctors I’ve met, she’s very patient and caring with her patients. I used to suffer some horrible panic attacks last year, I did some research and found Dr. Yang on Google and saw she had very good reviews, I’ve been on treatment since less than a year ago and I feel like a new person. Those horrible panic attacks are gone. I really recommend Dr.Yang is you’re looking for a Phsychiatrist she is the best!
