Went there last week to change my pharmacy because Walgreens doesn’t take my insurance. They never switched my location. I showed up a week later and I wasn’t in the system they didn’t even call the other pharmacy. I went there in person to do this because They don’t answer the phone. I was on hold for 4 hours. Very inconvenient that I have to show up in person to ask questions that could be answered over the phone. Not one staff member is helpful ever
Actually the worst cvs when it comes to the pharmacy. I had a prescription that was suppose to be done in 30 mins. I left for about an hour and came back and told me I have to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes. The employees are very unprofessional and disrespectful.on top of poor customer service it’s understaffed.
If I could give this pharmacy zero stars , I would. This location needs an entire reform specifically in the pharmacy area. I am currently on hold to speak to the pharmacy for almost an hour. This is insane. I need to know if my fathers hospital discharge medication has been filled. This is the norm at this location. There is zero empathy for patients. When you arrive the line is very long and no distancing , very long wait times. Very understaffed location with alot of need for improvement in all aspects. The staff is also rude and not helpful at all. The Burke Ave location was a great location but of course they closed it down and compressed all the clients to one location.
They need more people in the pharmacy There are long lines for consultation and pick up. If you try to call them no one picks up. I was in a Doctors office they took forever to pick up. This is no way to run a business I wonder if all CVS pharmacies are all like this . Corporate needs to take action and find a way to streamline things for efficiency
When I tell you that I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism in my life, please believe me. Godwin (pharmacist or whatever he is) shouldn’t be allowed to serve the public or oversee staff! He took over 30 minutes to check in the woman before me, fine. When it was my turn, I let him know that I needed my prescription this evening. He said that he would submit it. After waiting on line for one hour, he said that the system was closed. When I asked to get my FREE prescription, the young lady behind the desk was trying to be helpful and he SCREAMED at her. After I told him that he shouldn’t speak to her in such a disrespectful way, and asked for his name, he basically threatened me. Is this what we deserve in our neighborhood? Unacceptable! The one star is for that sweet young lady that tried to help. I also went to the manager to complain about how he spoke to the staff and she seemed unbothered by it. Disgusted and deplorable! Get it together and quick!
The customer service at this pharmacy location is horrid. Management does not monitor service efficiency at point of service and is unresponsive. The wait at the pharmacy is 45 minutes on each line for medication pick up. Customers are asked to simply join another long line if the associate is unable to complete the sale.
They dont care if you get your meds or not.First CVS called AND texted me that my medication was ready. When I get there I stood on a long line for pick up just to be told they dont see any medication available for me.I was then directed to go to another even longer line thats filled with other patients who were also told by cvs that their medication was ready just to arrive and be turned away. When I finally got to the front of this second line, there was so much confusion and back and forth about what and where my medication were. I ended up leaving empty handed.I called and asked my doctor to send it elsewhere and I was able to pick up my medication at this other pharmacy with no issues whatsoever.The staff here completely lack compassion and dismiss the importance of the medication youre taking for your health and safety.
The line for the pharmacy is long but thats at most stores and even at stand alone pharmacies but they always have what I want whenever I go. I can also have my medications delivered after I created an account on the cvs app. I pay for it online and they ship it for free.
Visiting the pharmacy is the worst experience every time. You wait in line over 20 minutes for meds. Once at the counter there’s ALWAYS something wrong so then you have to go to the “consultation” desk where you wait another 20 minutes and you’re lucky if your issue gets solved. I’m changing pharmacies ASAP!
Worse place to have your medicine Processed. Don’t get stuck in traffic or forget what time they close because you been working all day. They won’t help you or Even be sympathetic of your situation. You can be a repeated Customer for over ten years. In pain from having a major surgery and run out of your pain medication. They won’t help you at all. 10 mins late they don’t care have a nice day. Please think about having your medication put together by them. Find another Cvs who cares about there customers health. This location will leave you in pain suffering.
This is the worst pharmacy when it comes to picking up your prescriptions. It always a problem 1 prescription is filled, 1 is not. You place a prescription for pickup in advance then when you get there it’s not ready. One person tells you 20 mins you wait nobody calls you. You ask is ready another associate tells you 15 mins. They are in no way organized. This my last time refilling here.
Worst pharmacy. They call you and inform you the meds are ready. You get there wait on line for 30 to 40 mins and tell you only one med is ready. You then have to go in another line and speak with pharmacy who tells you to wait 20 mins for them to fill the next med. Never an apology. The store is dingy and staff is unfriendly. The cvs on Burke was so much better. Its unfortunate they dont care about the people in this area
The worst service, you would not even be properly taking care. Completely unprofessional specially if your coming after 5pm, neglectful in every way. Absolutely NOT considered of your time. Weilan the worst, doesn’t take ownership of her lack of empathy, our prescription at the end of it all Miss. Weilan your dealings with clients health and time. Three trips for a simple prescription is inconsiderate. This experience makes your pharmacy absolutely unreliable!
Don’t ask the African security anything. He doesn’t understand English. Move on to the lady at the counter. She can’t choose the right words either. Making you ask again to make sure everything is correct. Then she looks at you like you’re the one having difficulty understanding. LOL. Please start having a minimum hiring requirement of a bachelor degree please! The staff is too uneducated and with an attitude.
The worst pharmacy. The staff works hard, but the management do not acknowledge they are running the service with under staff and supply. I had to wait 4 days to get my wifes post pregnancy medication ready. I have visited 5 times (over 4 days) and I was promised it will be ready in 20 min. 4 days later still waiting 😪
Worst place to get prescriptions from twice I’ve gone in here to pick up prescriptions and they don’t have it!!!! First time it was for myself said I had to wait 1hr after waiting an hr I go to the pick up window and they tell me it’s not in their system! Never got my prescription. Second time I come to pick up prescriptions for my daughter who’s asthmatic they give me one out of my 2 prescriptions telling me I have to wait 1 hr for her asthma pump I go back 1.5 hrs later and they tell me it’s not ready to go to the drop off window when I get to speak to someone they tell me they don’t haven’t that they need to order it that I should try another store completely rude and unprofessional
I miss the CVS on Burke Ave because it was up the street from me. So convenient and to have close on us twice. Just like the fire happened and we lost Burger Barn,the candy/lotto store and 3 Boys pizza. Ive never had a problem with any of the staff. I dont them for my medication but have asked what aisle I can find something. With the Covid 19 virus we should try to understand that they are front liners. Sometimes a soft tone and a smile goes a long way. I work for Montefiore and Ive seen it from both ends patients being rude as well associates. the approach sets the entire tone.
When you deal with medicine, you just have to have more patient. And I don’t think that it makes sense for someone who is in pain and in need for cure to wait 40 minutes for the medicine. The CVS is great, and I will come here again, but for medicines I will consider a different pharmacy.
CVS is absolutely the worst pharmacy anyone can go to, there is no way they beat Walgreens in the slightest, something as simple as rebilling a medication, they make you wait 20mins, at Walgreens you get your medication sametime once rebilled!! I wish my insurance would take Walgreens again!!!
This CVS is horrible! They never answer the phone in the pharmacy. And if you call the store to ask if the pharmacy is answering calls they are rude, and they tell you they do not have anything to do with what the pharmacy does. They should not have a pharmacy phone number if they do not answer your calls for an entire hour on hold.
Lazy, unprofessional & rude. Called to have a prescription transferred. Pharmacists lied and said it was against the law to have the prescription transferred. Called another pharmacy picked up my prescription in an hour. If you dont want to do the job, do not apply, do not accept the position. Work in a different position.
Corporate p should seriously fire Lela, her priority to deliver excellent customer service is non existent. Dont make your customers wait, when there is five people behind the counter and then have the nerve to say you only waited for two seconds. And funny thing is I know her name because she proudly told me as I walked away, because she overheard me say to my mother over the phone that I was filing a complaint with the store manager. Her behavior was antagonistic. I did come out of my character because of her intrusion in my private conversation, for voicing my opinion of her customer service. I will not be coming to this location but the one in Pelham parkway where service is better and the staff is more attentive. People are here to pick up thier medication, and some people are in pain and cant wait, until the staff feels like coming over to the register. If she didnt feel like doing her job then she should have instructed someone else to give me my prescription. Perhaps they should put her in a different department with minimal interaction with customers.
Went in to witness a small Hispanic mother being berated by the shift manager LonJe who humiliated her in front of the entire store. She was speaking at above talking tone to make sure everyone knew there were no toys in the store and no toy aisle that the toys they had were seasonal only. which is of course incorrect. Then she called me up, and was also rude to me. She got upset when I had to change cards bc my previous card didnt have enough $ on it and told me I needed to use the chip, which I knew, and accidently put it in the wrong way, since silver graphic on my card is in more than one place. So then she barked at me as I turned it around and put it in the slot, however this wasnt good enough for her and she barked again that I needed to push it in more than once...mind you, the card was in and the two seconds it took for the computer to read she decided to target and bully me. Ill be calling the store to complain in the morning. Little did she know I had major surgery a week ago and you couldnt tell-she needs to be fired bc customer service and handling a store is too much responsibility for her. In fact, based on her personality, it wouldnt surprise me if she is concealing other immoral behaviors, that would affect the store financially. Also she was having a grand old time with another customer and staff during my transaction laughing at some inside joke, loudly.
Tasha is a very rude, incompetent associate. She made me wait over 30 minutes just to reload my PayPal card. I even called PayPal customer service for help and she told them that they have the wrong info for the store. She told them PayPal cards are like American Express cards...which they are not! It says NetSpend on the back meaning they can be reloaded just like a Greendot card, which they sell in the store. It wasn’t until someone came in to reload their netspend card on a different register did she even try to reload my PayPal card, and voila - it worked. Please fire this lady. She’s incompetent and rude.
These technicians are working hard to give us medication during a time of crisis and uncertainty they could be home with their families but they choose to service the communityIt is disgusting the way they are spoken to by customers when told they have to wait an extra minute or no refills left .. I think they are doing amazing the new staff working have made great improvements I wish I knew the ladies names but I just want to thank them all
The worst pharmacy ever its a pity thats the only pharmacy serving the bronx were we get get medication from the state of ny need to let more pharmacy get access to give us our medication the pharmacy is ok but what you have to put up with while waiting for you medaction it a shame you are always been watch by there security guard follow around like your stealing something I use to shop in that store I dont even look inside anymore I had to make a complain to the manager the last time I went for my meds to tell his security to stop following me around not good for your customer not ever one steals
Awful store. awful customer service. this store looks nice but wait till you get to checkout and only one self-checkout register is working. once an employee took $5 from me and i felt very disrespected. this store needs new employees and I hope CVS will look into reforming this store. awful.

2022-02-09This is the worst cvs ever, no body answers the phone in the pharmacy. If they don’t have your meds they don’t say anything unless you waste your time coming to the store. Not sure why the location exist because not one working is helpful at all. The people working in the pharmacy have people hands in there life and they have no sense of urgency when filling the prescriptions. The whole store needs to get new resourceful employees. If you need to go to cvs, do not step foot on this one, it’s a waste!!!!

2022-05-27While experiencing an emergency one does not want to deal with inexperienced, impatient and ignorant pharmacy staff. My friend needed help and the pharmacy staff could not locate nor knew what a suture was and summarily discontinued helping him. I literally ran to the pharmacy and found the items needed within 10 seconds. This pharmacy proves that college educations mean next to nothing. SMH

2022-01-25This pharmacy is horrible! The very most worst! The humanness in taking care of the needs of sick people is totally absent. My elderly husband stood on line for 11/2 hours today only to be told that my prescription won’t be ready for another three days! It’s an antibiotic! They want me to stay sick due to their incompetence? I am in severe pain , discomfort, and distress. !The costumers fight on the line due to stress from standing on that mile long line. The never answer the phone and have an I don’t give a F—- attitude. The pharmacist needs to go! He, the store manager, and the workers ignore the fighting and cursing. One star to get the review through. The humane thing to do is close this dysfunction down. Sick people deserve better. Lastly, the don’t have parking. You stand on line for over an hour, get a parking ticket and walk out without the medication ions. My husband made 5 trips before they actually gave him his meds! They are medieval!

2022-06-20The attitudes of the some of the girls in there pharmacy section is annoying. Esp consultation. I went there for the girl to just say it’s closed and walk away when i was the last and only person on that line. Come back another day to the same low key stank attitude.

2022-04-23The pharmacy mail service is horrible. They have lost my prescription on many occasions. When I contact customer service nothing is resolved. I dont understand how they can be so callous when it comes to peoples medication.

2021-12-10It was my first time at this location and I have never seen CVS workers this rude to customers. I have been using CVS pharmacy for sometimes now, and I think the staffs are doing a great job until I came to this location. Very unprofessional workers, they need to work on themselves please. 2021-12-07The pharmacy department is the worst ever. They never answer any phone calls and when you get there the line is literally insane.. Overall service sucks and the staff are unprofessional.. I will be switching to a different location in hopes of better service

2022-01-28What I do not like yes the service for the pharmacy. You call the pharmacy on hold 3 hours. On the phone.I have to go in person to get my medcine. and that wait a long time. to get my medcine. sezuire and lupas. always have trouble getting my sezuire out of stock. I get stress out. and my mom hight presurre medcine out of stock🙄. that meds are life and death meds. Hight blood pressure and my sezuire medcine. I give a zero to cvs.I miss Burke ave cvs. I never miss out on my medcine never out of stock. I always complain to custor service about my medcine and my mom. But I like the time frame to get your medcine.7 days a weeks pharmacy is open THIS CVS GIVE ME 😩 PHARMACCY

2022-04-06Terrible customer service, no one picks up the phone & no one in there knows how to print anything. Apparently manager doesn’t have a set schedule so she wasn’t helpful either.
