I used to go to the Grant Ave location but I ran into a lot of issues there so I switched to the Genesee St location. Having better luck but with the pharmacy not open on weekends it makes it difficult to pick up my meds since I live 30 mins away. The no weekends thing is very inconvenient.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not waste your time filling your prescriptions at this 314 Genesee St., Auburn, NY location- they do NOT have a pharmacist on duty on weekends due to a pharmacist shortage, nor any day he takes off. Therefore, one cannot pick up a prescription when no pharmacist is on duty. They have a sign in the drive-thru window that states this. I have been inconvenienced one too many times, finally gave up and had to transfer all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. This location of Walgreens is too stupid to be in business. They may as well shutter the building.

I wound up as a Walgreens customer after habitually sticking with all of the new owners, Westside, Fays, Eckerd, RiteAid and maybe some others Ive forgotten. The experience since the latest name change has been horrible since the first experience. I dont blame the employees, they have a tough job, but I get the feeling that they are struggling with the corporate systems.Sticking with a pharmacy that has totally unreliable hours makes no sense in a city with so many other good choices. The final decision was when I couldnt pick up a much-needed med on a FRIDAY, because of no pharmacist on duty. This was after being told on Wednesday It was too early and had to come back on Friday! AND, theyre closed weekends. A Pharmacist shortage is a problem, but it was becoming MY problem rather that theirs.

Well stocked. Clean store. Nice and spacious store layout. Easy entry into and out of the parking lot. Employees the morning I visited were not the most friendly. Lots of variety in the store for your shopping needs
