Dude is very detailed orientated! I looked around for a year before I made my decision on going to him. A true artist as you will be able to tell as soon as you walk into his studio.My first painting I got done was of a angel, which until this very day i get complemented on! My whole family gets there work done by him and were all professionals in our own fields of study. I have seen dude tattoo my brothers half sleeve free hand which i still cant comprehend till this day,because its flawless!!!!
Ive been going to him for almost a year,all I can say is that he is by far the best artist I have had the pleasure of meeting. He is super accurate with the design, explains everything, makes you feel comfortable, I have nothing but good things to say about him.If you want something done right, please go to him, he wont let you down.
I am very pleased with the service he provided. He was very attentive and wasnt hard on the needle. The tools that he used was clean and came straight out of the packaging. His attention to detail resulted in some beautiful artwork that he strategically put together to cover up my scars. I am very grateful for his hard work. I would definitely recommend him to anyone searching for quality work for a reasonable price.
My girlfriend and I got our first tattoo with Dude. All I can say is this guy knows what he is doing. He made sure that I was satisfied with my piece and went through the process thoroughly, making it feel like it was my 10th tattoo. I had the privilege of getting the best tattoo I have to date thanks to Dude. I had a half sleeve done by him which only took one session that had color, extreme designs and a lot of detail. And the pricing was very reasonable.... (this was after extensive searching of various shops all throughout NY and NJ). As soon as you walk in, its quite clear that hes not just a tattoo artist, but a creative artist with an array of highly detailed and complex drawings, paintings, and sculptures that fill his studio. I will definitely be a returning customer and recommend Dudes Tattoos to anyone who wants awesome quality tattoos for a really great price.
Clean, professional and fast. Great communication, text to inquire about appt. and possibly tattoo for my friend and I. Send over ideas, text what we wanted. Within 24 hours, he send artwork, we tweaked it a bit. Everything was ready to go when we arrived. Both of us were done in a hour. He knows how to run a business, customer service, no B.S., tell you straight up and can also do great tattoos/artwork. Doesnt get any better. Found my new tattoo guy.
This is my fifth tattoo with Dude and every single time he kills it. I wouldn’t go to anyone else and I recommend everyone I know to him. Dude offers a personiable, relaxed environment. The best place to get a tattoo in a private setting without people coming in and out and disturbing your experience. Great artwork, personalized everything. Your tattoo is custom made here, no flash. Ive gotten 2 so far, a million more to go lol def worth the prices so make your appointments fast! Because hes usually booked up since hes in high demand. Also if you have skin allergies hes very knowledgable regarding what inks to use on sensitive and easily irritable skin (like me and my eczema). I recommend him highly!!!
Dude is 100% an amazing artist, knows his craft well and takes his time in from start to finish. He took his time in understanding even the slightest of detail in the concept of the design I asked for with keep meaning in its symbolism. A true professional with an in home studio making me feel very conferrable. Upon arriving for my appointment everything was explained as well as the sterilization techniques are second to known. This man is efficient cutting NO corners and puts full attention into his work... The concept I had was enhanced 100 fold, allowing him the freedom to take the concept into his own hands... A sizeable arm design took him under five hours from state to finish... I would recommend Dudes Tattoos to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price. Ive known Dude since I was a kid, and ever since I hit 18 I just had to get a tattoo from him. Every piece on my body has been done by him. He is an amaaaazzing artist and will make you feel comfortable in his studio. Clean and sterile environment. Once you get a tattoo from him youll come back for more. 😉

Great Artist and does amazing work. 4 stars only because I feel that he could work on his customer service skills, there were times when hed come off pretty rude when asked questions that someone getting permanent work done should ask. Other times as well.

2020-06-24Half sleeve was done a little over a year ago, should be shaded and colored in but I just never got around to it. Neck tattoo was done about a week ago.. I gave him my ideas and what I was looking for and for both pieces he drew and made both into pieces blend so well together with every concept I wanted in each tattoo piece. Dudes is an Amazing artist, very clean, very professional, and does very detailed tattoos. He’s my main tattoo artist I always go to.. would recommend him to anyone.

2017-07-31I am a heavily tattooed person from NYC, and I can easily say that this has been one of the most professional, amazing artists that I have ever been blessed with to put such amazing work on my skin. Super clean environment, hes very light handed and fast paced with his hands, improvises and very creative, really good at free-hand. I am so happy with my tattoo I cried.The shop is very clean and organized. He makes you feel comfortable and he is very professional. 2013-09-10I was lucky enough to be one of the very few people who were able to get a tattoo from Dude on his trip down to San Antonio. With not being in his own shop and in his environment, Dude came down and put an absolutely beautiful piece of artwork on my arm. He is an awesome artist who uses tight lines and has the ability of making contrasting colors flow smoothly making the artwork come to life. He is very quick but shows great attention to detail. I am always getting comments on how good it looks and how the colors really shine. You better believe the next time Dude is down here I will be in his chair for some more ink.

2012-08-16Ive went to Dude twice already and i am guaranteed to go back a few more times! Both tattoos are fully detailed and bright in color. One of the tattoos was a fix up and it looks 100% better then it ever looked! He always has music to your liking to set the mood so you feel relaxed and comfortable. Ive recommended a few of my friends, some who were going for their 1st tat ever, and i would recommend anyone who is looking to get great work from a great tattoo artist/artist and great guy. Check him out you wont regret it!

2015-05-25Great artist. dude is definitely my all time favorite and has done all my largest pieces. hes very detailed and has a great range of ideas to make a tattoo look like a portrait. easy to get to and the enviorment is very comfortable. for anybody out there looking for someone that isnt heavy handed this is your man. 2013-11-12No crowds or strangers watching you while you get your tattoo. Dudes Tattoos provides more privacy than most shops. That was very important to me cause I dont want crowds of strangers wandering around in the back ground while Im getting work done.The artist is easy going and comforting. His station was immaculate and he lets you see that everything is sterile. I felt very secure.More over, his art is beautiful and he works a nice steady pace. I recommend this shop to all my family and friends.
