Extremely disappointed I showed up and no one was at the shop. The owner is lying in his reply when I called they told me the car that I scheduled to see was sold a few days before. And they never tried to contact me to tell me not to come. I waited a half hour until I finally contacted someone and they were disrespectful and unprofessional! If your rich then obviously it wouldn’t matter if you shop here. But if you want to get a good deal and save big I would look somewhere else.Psa if you got to crazy cheap cars.com they will help you find a nice adorable car with good mileage. Unlike overpriced people on Delaware.

I’m not one to normally write reviews, but here I am.Bought a truck from the Angola location a little while ago. I was very happy with the condition and pricing of the truck overall. It was agreed that I would have a check engine light tended to (despite the owner/manager telling me “it’s a 3/4 ton, it can pass with a light!” That’s not the point.) and parking brake fixed before I picked the truck up (after a deposit).I noticed right away that they didn’t fix the parking brake. I don’t know why they didn’t bother because the truck had new brakes all around otherwise. I work on vehicles anyway, so I just said I’d do this myself and avoid having to drive around to get the truck again later. I don’t live close to Angola. Now, just the other day I’m driving home with the truck from my first longer distance trip (300+ miles) and it throws a check engine light. I scan it and end up with the same exact codes it had before they “sent it to get fixed.” Not thrilled.My advice is if you’re going to buy from them, do your best to follow up on any work that might be required.Also note they coat truck frames in paint/rustproofing to make them look better. Not saying this is bad, but be are.When I picked the truck up I was also told I could get $50 for writing a 5 star review. So take some of these with a grain of salt.

After searching for months online my wife and I found a beautiful Dodge Ram at Duncan Motors. After making an appointment with Chris we knew this was the one. Chris and Mike were super friendly and professional. After having an issue with financing Chris bent over backwards to help us even holding the truck for almost two weeks until we got the loan. Bought a jeep go 2006 in 2012 found out this am when considering a trade, that the jeep had been in a frontal accident in 2007 with air bag deployment. Mike did not show car fax, and had not disclosed this fact. I had asked for car fax at time but mike assured me it was fine. After calling Duncan this morning I spoke with someone who stated Duncan had been sold last year. After seeing reviews recently done I believe this is a lie. My trade in was decreased by $2000 due to the accident. I paid market price for this jeep when I bought it, no accidents. This explained why I have had so much trouble with the jeep over the last 4 + years with front end, transmission and engine ticking. nice job Duncan!, mike!*****By the way mike you cannot write reviews and ratings for you own place! Thats pretty dam poor behavior, you get good ratings when you earn them!Unbelievable!!! I had called Duncan was told by the kid on the phone that Duncan was closed and this lot was under new ownership-but the new owners must have changed their name to Duncan, I guess?!*
Bought a 07 Pacifica low miles clean in and out. Treated amazing. Great people,not to mention my child whos just driving hit one of my chrome rims bent it. Talked to Mike the owner asked if he could find me another. Not only did he replace the rim, had it installed with a tire. My cost 0...amazing service, fantastic staff. Just bought a great truck for a great price from Chris. He was very accommodating and always answered a text or phone call immediately. Very upfront about the history of the vehicle and repairs that had been done. Chris definitely went above and beyond what you would expect when buying a vehicle. The lot is full of beautiful trucks! I would buy another vehicle here and would reccomend it to anyone.
Dont pay attention to the responses from the owner about how the vehicles pass a strict NYS Inspection before they sell them. i was not allowed to test drive the vehicle due to the Pandemic at the time. The wheels had no tire pressure monitors on them, the parking brake was disconnected.Id give negative stars if I could! Horrible experience. I dont even know where to start went to give a deposit on a vehicle with the numbers all worked out, then was told Id have to give another $2,500 down for it work. Put $5,000 total down. I figured it was because all 4 of the A/T tires were 15lbs of air low due to the TPMS light being on.... Tires were so bad the next day, I took them to balance them and add air. I was then told that there were no tire pressure sensors on the wheels, cost me $250 to balance them because of being over sized tires. Two weeks later their mechanic had it back and forth for over a week because it needed a new belt, he had it 3 times and I ended up fixing it myself because he said it still squeals when you start it and I dont know why (he put the belt on wrong). Two weeks later I had to have it towed because every warning light on the dash lit up. Their mechanic had it again for over a week to fix the electrical issue, but left a horrible exhaust leak from having to take off the manifold. A month later I had to pay over $800 out of pocket because the fuel tank almost fell off the truck, Chris said id get compensated, now he wont answer my calls or texts. Not even a week later its back in the shop because the O2 sensors are bad from the horrible exhaust leak. Now I have to take it in again for another $400 repair to get the tie rods changed. Its had almost $3,000 worth of repairs since I got it in April. Luckily we have two other cars and this truck wasnt meant to be a daily driver, but still cant even haul stuff because it cant be trusted
I shopped for 6 weeks at all the big dealers and was sick of the high prices for high mileage. I found Mike and Chris online at Duncan Motor Car Sales and Service. They had 5 trucks I could have bought. I saved 1,000s of dollars and 10s of thousands in mileage. Mike and Chris were honest and I felt absolutely no pressure. Their vehicles sell themselves. Will never recommend bought a car a few months ago had nothing but problems go to call and get sent to voicemail. Never get called back owner said if I had any problems call and he would make right car was sent in to get fixed came out with same issues never got fixed and phone call ignored. Thanks to Duncan Motor my family and I finally have something that is reliable and safe. They were very understanding and worked with us on everything. We were having a very hard time trying to get a truck and Duncan motors was the only company that was willing to help us. Thanks to them we are now driving a new set of wheels thanks again.
UPDATE: Now that Ive had this car for about a year, I wanted to give an update. First, I was quite disappointed that the owners did not follow through on their remarks to me about leaving a review .. they promised to send a check for $75 (refunding the registration fee) if you leave a good review. They didnt. So I dropped my rating to 2 stars, as I do not like being lied to.I do like the car that I bought, but have had to put about $2500 into it this year, thats just basic things to keep it running, and theres a lot more to go. Keep that in mind when you think about buying used. When I first bought the car, I mentioned to Mike that I was intending to put some money into it, and he said I shouldnt have to put any money into it. Wrong. Theres always something going wrong with a used car. Not just mine, but any used car. They wont tell you all the things wrong with it upfront, youll end up having to figure that out as you drive the car. They arent bad people to deal with, I just wish they would have kept their word about the registration refund.
I applied for loan online after speaking to the new owner [since 2014] .It was so easy and I was approved immediately. I love my new car. Its true..all their cars are priced below the national average. They have a car for every budget too. I made an appointment and they met me when it was convenient to me. I had no pressure in my purchase at all. A++++
Purchased a low mileage conversion van from Chris at Duncan Motors. Vehicle is in great shape, price was fair, and we were given a fair price for our trade. We took delivery of the vehicle right at the start of the COVID-19 quarantine. Delivery was handled in a way that did not require physical contact.We have already referred a friend to Duncan Motorcars.
These guys are great they truly understand customer service and the value of a dollar. I was so happy with my wife’s 08 Jeep library that I came back and bought a 05 Colorado. The vehicles I bought were both fairly priced and I was treated wonderfully. BRING YOUR MONEY HERE DONT ROB YOURSELF!!!
**Buyer Beware** My spouse purchased a vehicle from this dealership and were not made aware of major work that was needed on the AC. The owner told us that it was inspected with no major issues. We are from out of state and when it arrived, there was no AC belt and then we find out the compressor is bad. $1500 dollars of repairs later and Mike, will not compensate us any reasonable amount. He has a horrible Better Business Bureau review and says he doesnt care. Id steer clear of this awful business.
I was very happy with my purchase of a BMW 325xi. The guy there was helpful and easy-going. He communicated well through text, which was nice because I work a lot. And there wasn’t any hidden BS. I also got financing when I’ve been struggling to get approved elsewhere.

Between my fiancé and we have purchased 4 vehicles total from Duncan auto!! Chris is awesome. I truly have to say he is an extremely honest guy..we all the know the “reputation” that used car guys get,NOT THIS GUY!! Recently bought the Chevrolet Traverse suv..omg love it!! It Was between the Chevrolet and another,Chris knows I needed the vehicles for transportation for my 87 year old mom who suffers from Parkinson’s.. He steered me away from a more expensive vehicle to the Chevrolet Traverse saying this is a much more dependable vehicle!! We love it.My fiancé started a concrete company and purchased the Ford F-250 diesel,he couldn’t be happier with the truck. I would not go any place else other than Duncan Auto,but Chris would also have to be part of the equation,so it’s not just the vehicles it’s his honesty and integrity that Chris displays with every sale.4 vehicles financed through him and through Duncan Automotive and NO ISSUES that were not handled immediately!!! Bought a vehicle in July 2019 and within 3 months have invested more than $3400 getting the vehicle into the shape I was told it was in. Rear windshield wiper broken, rear window latches totally rusted out. No detailing, as promised. No fluids and filter changes, as promised. No mats and other accessories that were in car when test drove werent in vehicle when delivered. No responses to numerous emails and promises to call back never made. Buyer beware and take a certified mechanic to do a head to toe inspection of prospective vehicle BEFORE and AFTER buying. Their 5 star mechanics dont seem to notice much.
Working with Mike was a good experience. No pressure, no drama, easy going. Im very happy with my new car and I can certainly recommend giving Mike a shot if you are in the market for a used car.
Picked up one of Mikes beautiful Interceptor Utilities and couldnt be happier with the thing. his wife Mrs. Stanz and the other two fellas i dealt with were more than helpful in having it inspected, tagged, titled, registered and laced with the extra goodies that make mine stand out from my buddies. showed up up on a Saturday (DMV closed) evening and they still managed to have me in my new wheels and back on road by Monday afternoon. the buy went so smooth...i just about have my friend convinced to trade up his 17 Focus ST for one of their Interceptors. I Recently Bought an Impala SS from them and within the first 30 Days The Transmission Went Out, I blew there phone up until They paid to rebuild the Transmission Cool, but after I got it back They made multiple problems while hooking up my transmission so now theres even more wrong, they lied about the car being wrecked so some parts are purplish while other parts are blue and Im stuck not being able to trade it In for a different better working car. Its outside cant even be driven because when they put the Transmission in they smashed my power steering line not to mention Ive never had air.
I purchased a F-350 from Duncan Motors on February 17 2016, They advertise their vehicles as warranteed. The Transmission failed in 50 miles. Sales slip says Duncan Motors Certifies that the entire vehicle is in a condition to provide service upon the highways at the time of purchase. The transmission was cracked through the case and stopped working 50 miles from the dealership. This would have shown up as a code on the computer with a basic service check. I contacted them about repairs and they said sure get it fixed and send us the bill. After sending them the bill they stopped responding or answering the phone. I contacted the NY State Attorney Generals office. The Attorney Generals office was unable after multiple attempts to get the company to respond. This company still has not paid the $2922.30 repair bill. 8-27-16
I purchased a 2007 chysler 300 from a salesman name Chris and after taking car off lot my brakes and roators where making noise. I reached cout to him several times and he set up an appointment to fix my brakes and I only got back ones fixed instead of all. I called chin again and the company said he no longer works there. Shortly after he called me and told me to bring car to another shop and the worker there said he couldnt hear any noise which isnt true. But also stated that Chris didnt agree to cover charges and that he doesnt work for him. So it was a huge run around so my 30 day warranty would expire. Also he agreed to get me a tire cap. Because it was missing one when I brought it. I never received that either. This man is very unprofessional and has no honor behind his word. He is a fast talker and very dishonest. Now Im stuck with a noisey car that only has 3 wheel caps.
I just would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Mike Stanz. He is by far one of the most honest generous sales person this side of the globe has to offer. I traveled from NC to purchase a 1997 P30 Step Van from him and he provided me with all the parts which has warranty information as well as gave me a full tank of gas to make it back home to NC. He recently had a break down and the batteries were part of the reason for the break down and Mr. Mike still answers his phone with curtesy and respect and provided me with the information I needed in order to get new batteries under warranty still for free of charge and save me from spending 200+ dollars. I am the new owner Michael Stanz. Any reviews prior to that are misleading and false. I have already contacted my lawyer and Google to report reviews such as Covennettio. He left a recent review from a car he bought in 2006...really? Who does that? I was not the owner and they should be removed immediately and my lawyers will deal with this. We Acquisitioned the name of the business and the lot just recently. Any reviews based on the prior owner has nothing to do with us.
Dealer will tell you everything you want to hear than when it comes to get repairs done he will tell you since your out of state warranties dont apply, the bbb has a history of him not respondong or fixing complaints, they recomend a lawsuit due to his business practices. BBB rating of an F call them before doing buisness
I have worked in the auto industry for almost 30 years and one that came down to looking for a used car several people recommended Duncin motors so I decided to give them a shot and I can honestly say this was the absolute best experience I have ever had at a used car dealership the service was great everything was quick and simple and most importantly he is a very honest businessman I highly recommend checking them out before you go anywhere else.

On the thirteenth of December of 2019, I bought a truck from Duncan Motors at 8555S.Western Blvd.Angola NY. 14006. The truck was a 2009 Ford F-350 Super Duty. It had a Western V-plow on it. It Had an odometer reading of 26,000 miles. The truck looked pretty good ,very little rust apparent on the cab or the bed sides. The sales person (ChristianDelprince) Informed me that no vehicle ever leaves his dealershipthat is not in very good condition. Chris also said that the truck had New York stateinspection, which he assured me was more thorough than Pennsylvania, which is whereI’m from. He said that the mileage was legitimate. By the way the inspection station(Facility Number 7032112) Just happens to be at the same address as DUNCANMOTORS!I have a small snow plowing business. and did not use the truck this winter until march.On march 19 2020, I brought the truck in for inspection in Pa. the technician told me thatthe floor of the bed was totally rotted out beyond repair and would not pass inspection.The reason that you could not see this is because there was a brand new bed liner in it.The bed liner was screwed in so you could not see under it. The bed was also screwedinto the cab so it wouldn’t drop down. The drivers seat was also broken and had to bereplaced. I sent many pictures to Christian and kept him updated on the progress of therepairs.I have Multiple Sclerosis, which is the reason that I couldn’t thoroughly inspect the trucki.e. get under it etc. I have called the company many times. they told me that they wouldmake it good. They continually told me that they would call me back this evening. theynever did. Then as time passed, they just stopped answering my calls. I used the last ofmy savings to get another bed and the labor involved in removing and installing thereplacement bed. I still have to have it painted. I’m very upset and wished I had neverdone business with this deceptive company. Do Not Trust Them!

This place is a joke. If the owner or manager even answers your call, its a miracle. Then they make up issues with your call so they can lowball you. Very unprofessional, overpriced lemon vehicles for sale. Stay away from this place, I know the owner personally, they will rob you blind.

2022-04-26I have no idea on how this place has so many stars, must of been family or friends juicing them up. Two months before Covid hit they put a 2000s Tacoma out front. Beautiful body, low miles, ran great, 4wd worked, the promised up and down its been gone thru by a 3rd party inspector, I was in love. Test drove it, had my buddy who owns a shop took a look at it real quick, things are looking good. I do some home work and yeah Toyotas have frame rust problems, I get under it and who ever did the patch work on the frame was a freaking artist welder, there was no new paint and just a little surface rust, Plus Chris (weisel) said shes solid and assured me the frame was Ok. Sure Ill get it rust coated, should last a while for 12k. BIG NOPE!!!! I went to upgrade the shocks and tires only to find parts of the frame was already welded and starting to crack. Chris dodged me a bit untill I threatened legal action than I waited 3 months to get my money back. DONT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAMERS Almost GOT Me. Dont get sweet talked like I was

2022-08-08Bought a 2003 Lincoln Avaitor last year May 2021. Vehicle had 78,000 miles. After a week of buying the fan belt broke as we were driving. The truck was towed to their mechanic who serviced and replaced the belt. No problem. About a week after the check engine light came on and they had it serviced by their mechanic. He said he changed all the O2 sensors and believed that was the problem. The light was off due to disconnecting the battery as the light came back on in another week. Duncan became a lot harder to work with as more problems surfaced and stopped returning my phone calls. Like the sunroof leak, the DVD/TV it came with didnt work, the trunk window hatch was broken and needed replacing. After giving up on Duncan and their mechanic, I started getting things fixed myself... In 1 year 25,000 miles, this is what I had to fix...- spark plugs- coil packs- fuel injectors- transmission pan, filter, and fluid- catalytic converter- both front suspension springs and struts (broken and failed inspection)- No oil change was done as I had it done one month after purchasing and the oil level was very low and contained a slug like substance.Oh and let me tell you about the time I hit my brake and my horn went off!!! They disconnected the automatic starter (which most dealers do when reselling a vehicle), only they cut the wires and left them exposed causing other wires to heat up and melt. So my brake pedal bar was sparking the wires and causing the horn to go off when you hit the brake. Funny story but not a good review! Had to fix that myself before a fire started. I have 4 kids... Pretty scary thought...All in all I paid $8,000 for the vehicle and had to pay for an additional $4,200 in parts and labor to keep it for a year FOR THE ENGINE TO GO NOW!!!!!! Lower engine problem is forcing another $6,500 in repairs that makes it not worth it... So after 1 year and $12,200 (not including flat bed fees) I am left with a broken down Lincoln Aviator in need of a new engine... A.K.A scrap... Completely unhappy... Buyers beware...UPDATE: Cars are ridiculously expensive right now... I suggest Peter Kay Auto Sales... Bought a used Nissan Pathfinder with 60k miles... Ive had it for about 10k miles so far, not a single issue... Not even a chk engine light! Feels good to relax when I drive again and not wait for something to go wrong... Peter Kays also beat out Basil resale by $2,000 with less miles... Definitely worth a look... But stay away from duncan!!! Lol... Hope this helps!

2022-05-19If I could give 0 stars, I would! Picked out a truck. After the test drive there were a few things I wanted fixed. The radio/navigation screen was broke so that had to be replaced was one of the things. Waited TWO (2) - THREE (3) MONTHS!!!!!!!!! picked it up yesterday and NOTHING WAS FIXED!!!! Absolutely nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! They took out the factory radio/Nav and bought the cheapest radio they could find to put in (not touch, not a screen at all, and most importantly NO NAV!!!) The tire sensor is on, and the speakers are blown the last part I noticed driving it to work today. Upset/Mad/Angry is an understatement!!!!

2022-06-15Bought a 2003 chevy silverado, mentioned it would be doing towing, a few months go by and I was towing a unloaded single horse trailer, the entire hitch rotted off the truck while going down the road, do not recommend buying a vehicle here, low quality used cars.

No pressure and they are honest. I recommend if you want a used vehicle with great quality on all ends call you wont be disappointed.
