We had a very pleasant experience ordering and receiving our new living room set from Dunk & Brought Furniture. They were pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient in every way from the first few minutes of us walking into the showroom to the minute the delivery truck pulled away. The price was comparable to what we saw at other showrooms and online. We felt it was important to actually see and try this furniture in person given that we would spend so much time on it. I should note that I am aware of some of D&Bs community engagement and support initiatives and we really wanted to give them our business. They are a top notch local business that we will certainly go back to the next time we need new furniture.
I knew for probably the last 5 years after having my son that I needed a new mattress, Iwas waking up in the middle of the night w/ back, neck and side pain. I heard an advertisement on YouTube for Dunk & Bright and decided to check them out since they were so close to my job. A gentleman greeted me at the front and pointed me in the direction of the mattress, then another gentleman greeted me I explained my overdue need for a mattress he asked me how I liked to sleep and pointed at a Serta mattress and asked me to give it a try...when I tell you that mattress hugged me like my mom use to when I was sick and supported me in all the right places. I tried 4 others in my price range and ended up choosing the first and Its the right amount of plush and firm for me. I am currently writing this review from bed 😁.Mind you it took me and another family member to get my old mattress and box spring up too the second floor but the delivery guys snatched and grabbed my old while bringing in the new. I appreciate them and everyone at Dunk and Bright that my selection process and delivery easy!
Bought a Stressless Max chair a few months back. Last month the incline and lift systems failed. StressLess would not lean in to help and it took 2 weeks to get D&B to service the chair. Found that they ordered and received parts but did not inform me until I called. Said they would call me back to set up and appointment, they didnt. Waited another week and called and they said they would call me back, they didnt. Maybe this a good chair. If it fails the service response is abysmal. If you buy one force them to provide an assembly drawing of the lift system and circuit diagrams. Maybe dangling money up front will incentivize them to get their act together.
We met Joe Bright at opening day at Great Northern Mall. He helped us buy a new mattress and box spring.This Monday night we got to sleep on it.Yesterday, my wife and I walked the Beaver Lake Nature 3 mile trail. I havent walked 3 miles since 2018. I was in much pain in my hips and lower back.Last night I slept great. No pain this morning
Save your money! Go elsewhere! I ordered a dining table set … table, chairs, bench in DECEMBER 2020 … after waiting for the FIRST back order for months, I received THE WRONG TABLE, that doesn’t even match at that. Gray chairs/ BROWN table! I’ve reached out all along for months with no response, I’ve called just to be told each time that it’s the vendors fault and should be in “this month” … it is now MARCH 2022, almost April! I asked for a refund at this point and they want to refund me for the TABLE … so I’m just supposed to keep the chairs?? Wth do I need them for?? I have bought so much furniture from this place and for this to be happening is making my blood boil! I either want the table I ORDERED or I want a REFUND FOR EVERYTHING!! Terrible, terrible, terrible! No problem taking your money though! Save yourself years of waiting for what you purchased!
Overpriced and they need better financing...I feel as tho the supervisor feigned some sort of ignorance to get me to apply for whatever finance company they use and I walked away empty handed and crushed then I saw the Factory Direct right across the street went in got approved for 5gs and ordered all my furniture and it was all delivered before noon the following day! So no thanks Dunk & Not so Bright!
We were warned of delivery delays when we ordered US made furniture in May 2021. It is now February 2022 and the first of 4 pieces was received today. Interestingly, it has an inspection date of October 11, 2021. We like it but maybe could have gotten it last year? Now anxiously awaiting the remainder of the order.
After 23 emails, 42 phone calls, 329 texts, 560 miles driven to and from the showroom, and 262 days, I have the furniture exactly as I ordered it.I spent $16,500 and $150 in delivery driver tips (our home had been destroyed by fire). This was not an insignificant sum for us.I learned two valuable lessons. One, if you are ordering custom furniture, find a salesperson that has experience with those manufacturers. Two, dont wait to ask to speak to a manager. I dislike conflict and waited too long.Ms. Johnny was an Angel put in my path when I needed it. Her professionalism and keen eye for decorating was amazing. The day I left their showroom after I met her, I felt lighter than I had in months.I still give this local business five stars. Mr Bright stepped into what had become an incredibly messy transaction, and did his best . His apology was absolutely sincere, and between him and Miss Johnny, it finally got sorted out.My furniture is beautiful and comfortable, and I believe it will last me 20 years.
I’ve bought a couple pieces of furniture from Dunk and Bright and I’m never disappointed. We bought a couch a couple years ago and it still looks perfect even with the dog jumping all over it. This week we received our new patio furniture and again we were not disappointed. A great quality piece at a reasonable price! Great quality and customer service!
Michelle was extremely helpful and patient in my search for a new couch at the Syracuse, NY location and did everything she could to assist me in the process. The movers were very efficient and professional. I would definitely come back for any future furniture needs and could not have asked for a smoother process.
I was very pleased with pricing and availability ! SALESPERSON was very friendly but i thought the customer service was a little lacking maybe because of covid. We were never offered coffee, we just happened to see the coffee station and kind of helped ourselves. We did have a few questions as we were walking around but our sales rep was not around which wasnt a complete bad thing, we could look around without a sales rep down our throats so not a complete bad thing just couldnt ask questions as we had them. Overall we were very satisfied and did purchase items at this location over other furniture stores as we did shop around.
My wife & I recently shopped online for a complete bedroom set. We found a complete bedroom online by Ashley and it was available thru Ashley Homestore and Dunkin and Bright. We got a sales quote from Ashley Camilus branch on Saturday and the items were listed as extended backorder. We visited Dunkin and Bright on Sunday morning and were greeted by Kaeley Parker. She confirmed the item #s we were interested in were on backorder there as well, but her sales quote was $524 less! She took the time to show us many other bedroom sets. The store is huge with tons of options- available in stock with free shipping right to your home that same week. She showed us a complete bedroom set (12 pcs) that we liked more than the original backorder set from online and we purchased immediately. The complete bedroom set was delivered to our home 4 days later, on time, in absolute perfect condition.My wife & I are 100% satisfied with all aspects of the transaction with Dunkin and Bright. Kaeley is a calm, no pressure, knowledgeable, exceptional salesperson. We have no need to ever shop anywhere else for furniture. We will absolutely be buying there in the future.Updated: Additionally, we just looked on Dunkin website and picked out a bunkbed, mattress and desk. Emailed Kaeley our selection, she confirmed items in-stock and ordered right from our home. It was delivered to our door 5 days later.Thank you for making new home updates a pleasure Kaeley!Greg
Ordered a couch in August and finally delivered in February. Recently Noticed that the cushions were not lining up with each other and there are gaps between the cushions. Was just told there was nothing wrong with it and to make the cushions line up I should sit on the different side. Horrible customer service! Buyers beware!!
Our Sales person was great, we ordered a bedroom set(Bed, Night Stands & Dresser). It was going to take 6 months they told. Ok, we figured that when we went. They even called us early to say we got the bed but not the rest, but we can deliver them separately if that was ok. Absolutely! Very exciting to get the new bed. The bed was missing the board for making it the platform bed. I tried to call and leave messages to have someone return my call about resolving the issue. They did not return my call, so I drove there to show them and to speak to someone about the issue. No call or follow up day 2. Day 3(of not having a bed to sleep in), i called and noone returned my call in a timely fashion so I had to call back and finally spoke to someone that could provide us with more info and helped. They said the platform was not available and they had to have a third party come out and build us a platform. It would take 3-5 days for this person to call us and then may take more time for them to schedule us. So....why did you have us take the bed? Now we have to be at least a week or maybe more without a bed. Not extremely happy and will not shop here again. I am not sure they would return and refund me my money, but I am close to trying this as a resolution.Follow up to this original entry over a month ago.. That person never came out to build us a platform. No discount no store credit nothing was offered to try to fix the problem. We did get 2 more of the 3 more pieces in our order. 1 more left!
Purchased a sofa already in stock. Received delivery date of 10/8 when I didn’t show up they said oops I’m sorry you were taken off the delivery schedule it will be 3 days for new delivery. Second attempt they brought wrong sofa. Called and left message for manager, warehouse and my sales associate with no return phone call back. Called main desk and said they were going to locate it and get back to me.? Didn’t receive call back. Called a second time and said oops sorry the warehouse got busy call you tomorrow! Got rid of old furniture night before first delivery date. No furniture and 2 missed days of work for delivery and no one seems to care whatsoever. Accidents happen but this is absolutely Poor customer service!!!!!
Purchased this electric recliner less than a year ago and it is broken. Stuck in position shown in picture, so it’s unusable. I’ve called Dunk and Bright several times over the past several weeks, with promises that a technician will call back to get out here and fix it. So far- no call. Will not purchase from this store again.
We were a repeat customer, and have spent quite a bit of money over the years. They have nice furniture and were reasonably priced. After the last transaction and a series of issues, I will never spend another dime there. I did get a call from the owner, but he did not seem to appreciate the value of retaning my family as customers.
I worked with Alana @ Dunk & Bright earlier this year to purchase a new leather chair. She was amazing to work with and very knowledgeable about choices of fabric/leather options. The chair is great and Alana made the whole process smooth! Free delivery within a few days was a plus as well. Thanks for all the help & hope to do business again in the future.
We worked with Leo to purchase an amazing dining room table. It arrived today, right on schedule and the delivery crew was prompt, professional, and friendly. Weve been using Dunk and Brights store to furnish our new home and it has been such a great decision. Two bedroom sets, a sleeper sofa, bar stools for our kitchen island, and our dining room furniture! Production and delivery has been understandably slowed by COVID, but the shopping and delivery experience that are directly under the companys control have been lovely!
I am writing this review to express my frustration with lack of transparency between the store and its customers. I purchased a couch at the end of January and was given an estimated date of mid-March for delivery. I called in early March and was told that the couch would be delivered in early May, almost two months after what I was told at the time of purchase. After calling today I was advised that the couch is now going to be delivered at the end of May. Had I known that I would not get my couch until the end of May, I would have done business elsewhere. There is a lack of communication between the store and issues they are having on the wholesale level during the time of purchase. I would guess that a business wouldn’t tell the customer this as it would probably scare them away but this is something that the customer needs to be aware of!
Our sales person Tania was absolutely wonderful. She gave us the space we needed when browsing the store. We didnt like when other stores would follow us around like horse flies around a horse. ODunk & OBright gave us the option and respected our wishes. We left the store to sleep on the decision. When we contacted her to let her know we wanted to move ahead, she was always super responsive. The delivery team (Joe and Henry) were so friendly and they really made it a breeze. They were quick and really made sure to take care of the furniture. I would highly recommend!
How was my furniture? What furniture? I come to pick up a bed frame that I ordered 6 days ago, and Im told that it was given to someone else. Then I was offered a frame that had just been returned. Then it was suggested I come back another day. Surprisingly bad business.
I am so saddened by my purchase. I wanted two Kitching power reclining sofas. I saw several on-line stores that sold it much cheaper than Dunk & Bright but I figured it was safer to go with a local, family run dependable business from Syracuse. My order was placed, I paid in full the first week in January. After I reached out 2 days ago I was told THE couch was in- one couch. They messed up and it would be another 16 week wait- 4 months..but oh they were sending me a $75 store credit. yay. So much for dependable. And they won’t deliver the first, the only couch, that is now in Syracuse until April. Wow.
We purchased a couch and loveseat March 1 and were told 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. We understood everything was delayed because of Covid. We called the end of April and we’re told it would be June before delivery. Mind you it’s now been 17 weeks since we ordered. We just called again and are now being told August. I get that some things are out of their control but it would of been nice if their customer service department at least kept us updated. 6 months is a ridiculous amount of time. At no time did anyone from Dunk & Bright call us to keep us informed. It’s been very frustrating!!!!
This isnt the first bad experience with Dunkin Bright. I ordered a blue living room set and they kept putting me off telling me it was going to be delivered and it never showed up after waiting months. I canceled the order. I decided to try them again ,last week I ordered a white swivel chair that was in stock when I ordered it. The next day they called me to let me know that the chair was not in stock and would not be in stock until July. Meanwhile they already took the purchase from my bank, if I had known that the chair was not in stock I would not have ordered it this is the second time that theyve allowed me to order something that was not in stock and then expect the customer to wait several months for it to become available .Ive tried to call and ask for a refund I have not received a call back. I would like Ciara to give me a call back to let me know that refund has been processed.
I’ve been looking for a nightstand for almost a year that came with a bed set I bought 5yrs ago from a different store. It was always out of stock with no expected restock date everywhere & then I finally stumbled across Dunk & Bright. They had the item & I placed the order. Within minutes, a nice lady from the store called me to confirm my order & inform me that it’s out stock but a restock would happen in the next 2-3 months & that’s when the item would ship, which was fine. Within 2wks, she called me back to say the restock happened sooner than expected & it was shipping to me in 1 1/2wks. The customer service provided during this transaction was top notch and I will definitely visit their site again for future purchases.
Be prepared to wait months before receiving your furniture. The showroom was great and the woman who helped us with our purchase was good and thats were any positive feedback I have ends. We ordered our couch in early August and were told we would have it in 8 to 10 weeks, it is has now been 5 months. I think the worst part is the complete lack of communication, we have been given 5 different dates of when our couch will be in and every single time we have to call and check on it or we would never now that it has been delayed yet again. Today we called and it was delayed again and this time all we were told was early January. Extremely frustrating process with zero help and zero answers.
The furniture was worth the wait. It was delivered as promised - within the two hour window. The delivery team cleaned up all of the packaging materials, and despite the snow outside, there was relatively little mess brought in. Would I purchase again from Dunk and Bright? Yes, I have in the past and would so in the future.
My landlord ordered a couch for my rental that he takes care of and the whole time I didn’t believe him when he said he got the couch discussed prior to the lease . Today I googled to get the number to dunk and bright to get an update on the couch my landlord said would be here late February early March. Turns out from the comment below, my landlord isn’t lying and he’s not the only customer affected. How often does this happen here?
I am so impressed with this store. Michelle was so helpful in helping me pick out the right pieces of furniture and materials. I was quite undecided about my whole new livingroom look but she made it pleasant and comfortable to make some big decisions. The delivery crew were great too. They arrived on time, set up, and cleaned up quickly and easily. I have already recommended this store to a number of friends and easily give them 5 star rating.
The sales portion of my purchase was minimal since I knew exactly what I wanted when I walked into the store.The delivery department is the real star here! I had to change my delivery due to my work schedule. The person answering the phone was so understanding and helped me to rearrange my delivery date. Knowing I was working during the pre-delivery phone call, I called ahead just to be sure if I could not answer, my furniture would still be on schedule for delivery. Same courteous experience, she even looked up my expected delivery time during that phone call.The delivery guys were also perfectly pleasant, professional and courteous. My furniture was set up in no time at all! They did a fantastic job!Thank you to the Dunk and Bright delivery team! You do a fantastic job!
Worse company to ever deal with. I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of furniture from them in the past and never had the issues I have had this time around. They take your money and you never get the correct furniture you ordered. I ordered a table, chairs and table pad back at the beginning of September. The table and chairs showed up ok in early November but we still have no pad to protect it. It has been too many phone calls and text messages to get this fixed to even remember. The pad was not ordered originally, then ordered wrong, then ordered again and now it is still wrong. I think the game they play is get your money and see if you get too tired of dealing with it to just give up. There is never anyone who knows what is ordered or where the order is in or when it will be in. I have never dealt with a worse company ever. Very disappointing after being such a good customer for so many years.This is what you get....an apology rather than a fix. Look at the other reviews and you will start to see a pattern. This is not the same company anymore. Customer service after they get your money is nonexistent.
**UPDATE** - A day after leaving the review below (that still holds true to one star) the director of operations in the warehouse called me to set up delivery of my furniture. He was able to get it delivered in three days. The gentlemen that delivered the furniture did an excellent job and provided true white glove delivery. The couch is beautiful and we are so happy to finally have it. Im not sure if I will shop here again but the guys who pushed the ball across the finish line definitely deserve a job well done. Thank you.Buy your furniture elsewhere. We have always supported local, made in America business whenever possible but Dunk & Bright can no longer deliver like they could in the past. We ordered our couch seven months ago. We were told to expect a three month lead time due to covid. We decided that was acceptable for the quality they have provided us over the years and made the purchase. Three months later we were told it would now go into production January 18th - thats six months from purchase. Next we were told we would have it the first week in February. We followed up this week and were told it was through production but they cant tell us where it is and it can be three more weeks before it ships! Im pretty sure thats ship to them, not us; after that delivery to us will need to be scheduled. All said and done we are looking at seven / eight months front to back for a couch. No one will return calls. I dont even know what to do at this point. Its to be understood that this virus has put a huge wrinkle in manufacturing but this is beyond me. Epic fail.
*There were problems with the service before my delivery date too but this was the worst part*Delivery day: I was so excited to finally receive my couch that I waited 5 months for. I greeted two guys at my front door. I told them to take my couch around the back and up over my back deck to bring the couch in. It was the biggest entry way to go through. One guy was so upset he was complaining about his back and how far he had to carry it and it was the first stop of the day and he wasn’t going to bring it in that way. They proceeded to try to push the couch through my front door and tried to get it up my stairs. They were trying so hard they cracked my whole wall! They couldn’t even bring it through the front like I said they had to take it around back. They told me they scratched my wall and I said that’s fine I’m painting I can just paint over it. I talked to there manager over the phone he said he would personally come out and fix it if it was more then a scratch. It is!!!!! My wall is cracked! I was not happy I wish I had a name. The guy that brought the couch in was hitting on me. I’m a single girl who lives alone that just had two random guys come to her house. He proceeded to hit on me asking me if I was single if I lived alone. Which I do so uncomfortable in my own home getting a service I paid for!!!! This was the person taking off my back door so uncomfortable! Wish I got his name too. Sooo unprofessional and disrespectful. I’ve tried called back almost every other day and nothing my wall is still cracked worst service ever. I will never ever ever again buy from here.I

As soon as Joe read this review, he spoke to me personally on his weekend off, to assure me he would work to get this resolved.He is a true man of his word, my sofa has been replaced, and its absolutely beautiful!!Thank you to, Joe Bright, Miss Johnnie and all of the staff at Dunk & Bright Furniture for taking the time to work with me and for being so caring.NancyI special ordered a sofa from Dunk & Bright, it was ordered in -the wrong color. When I tried to get this issue resolved, I was told that they had ordered the right color, even though I had a swatch of the correct color and it’s nothing like the sofa sitting in my living room.I tried to work it out with my sales woman, but she kept telling me that she ordered the correct color. I have an actual swatch of the color it was supposed to be, and it is nothing like my swatch. She tried to tell me it was because age change the color of the swatch??? That was totally untrue as I had brought my swatch with me to their showroom to make sure I was getting the exact color I wanted....my color was right there on their swatch board.I suggested maybe I should speak with the owner, to try to get this straightened out.I was told “you don’t want to do that, he can get very unreasonable“.Needless to say I will be stuck with the wrong sofa color forever, and I feel that is very unfair. If perchance they stopped making my color I ordered, I should have been notified, not just had a sofa ordered in the wrong color so they could deliver/sell some thing.I will forever be unhappy with this sofa, and I feel the entire situation was unjustly handled!!Being an interior decorator my whole life, I’ve never heard of the practices of, Dunk & Bright. If something is ordered wrong you FIX AND RESOLVE IT!This sofa has thrown off every aspect of my room, nothing flows together anymore, because it’s the wrong color. It looks totally out of place.I even suggested that at their cost maybe they could give me an area rug that would tie everything back in together. That was not possible either, but, they could give me a “good deal on one”!This was not my mistake, this was the mistake of the sales person. However, they did try to make it my mistake by ending up having to pay more for an area rug just to tie the room back in together… From the initial mistake that they made in ordering the incorrect color.I strongly recommend that you do not shop at this store, they do not stand behind their product, their sales staff, or they’re selling responsibilities.
Worst service I have ever received. Took the day off for the delivery, they showed up without the items even on the truck. Received no info back on when it would be delivered. Called the store several times with no response or long hold time and nobody giving me an answer or willing to look in to it. Asked for a refund and could not get through to customer service and no call backs. Will never do business here again.
My experience for the most part was positive. The sales associate was knowledgeable and took the time to show us several options. The delivery guys were very friendly and helpful. However I had to wait 15 weeks for a chair. I understand corona held things back but when I called to get an update I was transferred quite a few times having to explain my situation.
This company was phenomenal to work with. I dealt with Jackie who was always quick to reply to my questions and provided excellent customer service throughout the process. The delivery people were excellent. I was given a tracking number to see when they would arrive. The couch, love it. Sturdy and nice looking. I willdefinitely be using this company again! Oh and I almost bought this couch from Ashley. They wanted $400 to deliver it. It was FREE through Dunk & Bright!
Bought a kingsize bed and mattress. After 16 weeks I am still waiting for the bed. They delivered the mattress 12 weeks ago and it is still leaning against the wall in my new house. Promises of delivery never happen and calls dont help. Their phone system wont forward your call. You have to wait on the line till someone picks up and forwards the call.
We have had such a positive experience with Dunk & Bright! We shopped locally, in the Boston area, but had our hearts set on a collection atD&B in NY. Michelle, in Sales, was outstanding! A true sales professional with good old school service. She managed delivery logistics, which was outside their norm, perfectly. Joe and Tom arrived 30 minutes early and the furniture is gorgeous and comfortable. Win! I will attempt to buy all new furniture from them going forward. Highly recommend!
Thank you DunkAndBright for the HORRIBLE customer service after paying more than $1000 for the bed AND a fee for delivery and set up! You got yourselves a one and DONE customer! We will be sure to pass on to all we know how great you are through the SALE, but how HORRIBLE you are if (or when) something goes wrong on delivery. Caution to anyone considering this company, Hope nothing goes wrong!!!!
I have gotten several pieces of furniture over the years at Dunk & bright including a bed/mattress, and most recently two night tables and the matching chest of drawers. Based on the prices I was expecting top quality furniture. The drawer tracks on the dresser were made very cheaply and multiple drawer tracks have broken within the first year. The dresser is basically useless without the drawers functioning properly. I’m very disappointed in the quality- I wouldn’t expect furniture to be so flimsy at a place like Dunk & Bright.
The sales staff was amazing. They didn’t hound me in the store. They offered assistance or to let me browse and gave me a card. The purchase of my sofa took 10 minutes. The wait time 2-3 weeks bc i wanted a sleeper sofa and the delivery guys were nice and on time, showed me how to use the sleeper and the correct way to put it up. Made sure i had no pets that would run out the door.
If you go to the one in Syracuse ask for Johnnie Knight. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I told her the color the style and how firm I wanted my couch to be and she showed me so many options. She is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. I did find what I was looking for with her help and made the purchase that day.
Purchased a new sofa recently and it is the most magnificent I have seen. Our sales associate was polite, courteous, professional and most of all patient. She made the entire transaction so easy and her fabric selection for the pillows is elegant. Dunk & Bright is the only place to find high quality furniture. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable service with no pressure. Perfect!
The sales woman was very helpful and kind, and she didn’t try to push anything. We had trouble with the first delivery...not enough knobs for the bed and wrong mattress. However, we had to go a size up and the delivery and set up were great. They took down the first bed and put up the second in a reasonable amount of time. I had called the sales lady to make the exchange, and she did it over the phone without any problems. I would have rated 4 1/2, but that option isn’t available. I have shopped at Dunk and Bright for many years. One mistake does not ruin the whole experience. I will be going back to them for my living room set.
My online shopping experience was great! Easy and convenient. I am not an email business person, I should have mentioned this to Erin. It took longer than expected to get my loveseat delivered. But once I did the delivery guys were great! (Sorry I ran out of bottled water) They were in and out in a matter of minutes and my love seat was ready to enjoy! Overall it was a great experience. I will shop on line with Erin again when Im ready for a couch!! Great Job Dunk and Bright!!
Salesperson Ed was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He answered my myriad of questions patiently! Delivery was on the date promised, the delivery duo were careful, polite and friendly. It was the end of a very hot day and they must have been tired, we were the end of the route. They were careful bringing all of the adjustable bed pieces in and up the stairs, answered all of our questions, made sure everything fit properly, showed us how to use the remotes, took all boxes and plastic out and were professionally friendly while doing their job. They well-represented Dunk & Bright!
From the minute I walked in the door of the store until the furniture was delivered at my door it was an outstanding experience .I had shopped at multiple other large furniture stores looking for a leather sofa. D&B was by far the most knowledgeable.Delivery team was careful and respectful of my home. Great job !!!!
We purchased living room furniture 33 years ago from Dunk and Bright and I’m still sitting comfortably, but we decided it was time to say goodbye to it.We made an appointment to work with Kathleen and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Absolutely amazing service! Jackie was incredibly accommodating, even handling the process seamlessly through the current closures and social distancing. Communication was clear and constant. I even received my special order in about two weeks, delivered to my door. All in all a fantastic experience, and I’ll be returning for any future needs, as well as recommending this company to everyone. I never right reviews, but my experience was so exceptional I had to!
My husband and I have bough multiple pieces at Dunk & Bright (spending over $10,000) over the past 5 years. We have ALWAYS had a wonderful experience on the sales floor. And have been happy with the products we have purchased. This past time when we received our sofa is was damaged. I understand things can happen however, I have reached out to customer service 5 times and have never received a phone call back. When I question why there was no notes on my account regarding the phone calls, conversations and pictures sent the customer service rep gave me attitude and ultimately ended up hanging up on me. I immediately called back and asked to speak with a manager. When I asked to tell the manager my story she told me to go ahead but that the customer service rep already filled her in. Then her only response to hearing that her employee hung up on a customer was she is sitting right next to me and I dont know why she did that. Did not come across as apologetic or understanding of my frustration and insult. They did agree to replacing the damaged pieces; however, I will NOT be returning to Dunk & Bright as a customer again due to the customer service department. No product is worth that type of rude treatment.
Kathleen helped me pick out exactly the right furniture for our small and unique space. She is a great listener and applies her skills accordingly. We were delighted when our furniture arrived weeks before the expected date. And finally, the delivery people were personable and professional. Furnishing this room has been a great experience all the way around.

Only complaint is when I ordered and paid with my card originally said couch was in stock and two day delivery. Next day Im told a month to six weeks.Im sure it was a minor goof but I might have chosen a different one if I had been told it would be that long.Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful, and delivery was stress free. The couch is good quality and overall I am happy with this experience.
Gentlemen who delivered and set up bed were courteous and efficient. Unfortunately, they did not have the slats that support the mattress. They stated that they would be delivered later today. We hope that this will happen ASAP as we need to make the bed for sleeping tonight,
I went with my in-laws this past Saturday to look for a mattress for me and my husband. The experience from the moment we got there was unforgettable. The staff was pleasant, kind, involved with our needs and made us feel welcome. Ed in the mattress department was unbelievable. He was so knowledgeable and was committed to get me and my husband into not just any mattress but the right mattress for our needs. They even got me and my in-laws into a bundle deal with brand new living room set! We will be back for any furniture needs in the future. I wish i could give them more then 5 stars because they deserve it!
The delivery crew was great. I got an alert they would be here within 10 minutes and they were here in 5 minutes. They were fast, efficient, and friendly. They took the time to position everything and were out almost as quickly as they got here. D& B made the whole process from order online, financing, and delivery really easy and painfree. I will be back again for sure!!
I went to Dunkin a bright today. This is now my third personal trasaction with this business, but my family has been doing business with this company for years. I found more items then Id orginally been looking for thanks to Hibas amazing help. I went from finding a chair for my grandfather to finding an entire beautiful living room set that Im sure will make the place feel even more like home and last for years to come. Ill definitely continue doing business here in the future. So far all of the furniture ive bought from here has been worth while, and there customer service has been great.
My wife and I are currently looking for new furniture. This place is awesome. The saleswoman who worked with us was fantastic, knowledgable, and helpful. She did not push at all. The prices are the best in town from what I have seen on the same models/brands of furniture. They have a huge showroom, so you can really get a great idea of what you want. If youre looking for any type of new furniture this is far and away the best place in Syracuse to get it.
Our third child, our first daughter, is due the beginning of April. We bought a dresser for the nursery on January 12th and were told we get a call for delivery in 2 weeks. Well, it’s been 5 weeks and no dresser, no call. We called twice. First time they told my husband they don’t know where it is. Second time they said it “should” be in their warehouse in 2 weeks and we will get a call for delivery a week after that. So if they are correct this time, that’s 8 weeks to get a dresser?!! No apology, nothing. How is this good customer service. Extremely unhappy with this service!! I just want to set up my daughters room and I can’t. All because of Dunk & Bright.Edit: Erin at Dunk and Bright reached out to me to correct the issue. She offered the floor model dresser at a lower price, with a credit back to us as well as free white glove delivery. Thank you Erin!! Greatly appreciate you working with me to correct the problem.
Great selection of quality mattresses and excellent customer service. Tom was knowledgeable and informative without being pushy at all. He lead us to the type of mattresses we were looking for and gave us time and space to test and make decisions about each one. Very happy with my purchase experience at the store and with the delivery the next day.
We purchased our couch from their online store. They kept me updated on everything. The delivery was great, if I could give them more stars I would. This two man team helped move out our old couch, they helped move our heavy hutch, and then they got our new sleeper sectional set up. Get the premium delivery, it is worth it. Prices were $1000 cheaper than Adirondack and China town. Warranty was better than China Town. Selection was larger and had the furniture in stock so I did not have to wait 6-8 weeks. Sales people did not force themselves on you. They would stop by occasionally to see if help was needed and also provided hidden incentives in the end. We did not even negotiate price after seeing what the others offered.
The leather recliner is comfortable and beautiful. Our sales person Will was fantastic to work with and the delivery guys, exceptional!!!! They were nice, professional and took no time placing my chair in the livingroom. Great experience and we will be shopping at Dunk & Bright again!
If i could give this a zero i would. I am not impressed with this place at all! I ordered a couch online last week just a simple reclining couch advertised on the website I received an email after I ordered it that someone would contact me with a shipping and delivery day i call today and get told I would not receive my order until december!! Why because they have to make it over in PA i have never heard such a thing and have not been told that in an email or online while looking at couches. If I wanted a couch in december fine but clearly I wanted a couch now thats why I ordered one now and not waiting until december..I will NEVER order from this place.again nor recommend them!!
Very comfortable shopping experience. Leo was extremely knowledgeable and helpful to us in picking a power recliner. We did shop around and ending up returning to make the purchase. Delivery was simple and the tracker let us know exactly where we were on the schedule.
So we ordered a couch and when delivered didnt look anything like what we were looking at in the store. We wanted to return and was given the run around and passed off. The staff, salespeople and manager were less then helpful and borderline rude. We finally get ahold of someone and were told there would be a restocking fee which is understandable but then we were credited $150 less then agreed upon. I am in the service industry and this is not how you earn a repeat customer! Over all poor experience from the top down.
Michelle is the best salesperson, ever. She knows exactly what to show me and makes it so quick and easy. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful and full of smiles. I never feel pushed, but I am always given all the attention I need or want. I have bought a fair amount of furniture from Dunk & Bright and have loved every piece of it. Michelle and I realized she has been my salesperson more than once and I do truly love working with her... so much so, I give her a hug on the way out. Their delivery and set up is just as great

Tammy in the showroom was fantastic! She helped us navigate through the showroom, find products that worked in our space and with each other, took into consideration our home life (two growing boys) when making suggestions, and even offered paint samples to help picture the furniture in our space. Truly a great experience. We also thought that the gentlemen delivering the furniture were pleasant, professional, and respectful.
Ordered a couch from a sales woman here July 15th .. she said 6 weeks. So I call 6 weeks later, they say first week of October. I call October 7th. They say November 14th ... No one ever called to update on the delays. I had to call every time. I go in today to look for a different couch in stock. All the sales associates sat around on their phones. The finance people were rude and not helpful when canceling my order. Worst place ever!
We bought an adjustable base for our tempurpedic matress that was able to fold to accommodate a small entry way. Price was right and salesman was knowledgable and friendly. Delivery guys were great as well. I would have gave the full 5 stars if the right base had been sent the first time they arrived to deliver...8:15 am...but we had to wait until 4:30 for the correct base to be delivered. I would definitely buy from them again.
Knew what I wanted for furniture. Walked in, bought it and had it delivered. Guys delivering were awesome. However, truck had broken down and scheduled delivery 10-12 was Going to be 1 hr late. Truck got there at 3! Took less than 15 min. Love my furniture!PS they did comp is our premium delivery charge.
We worked with Amethyst to help design and select our furniture. She could not have been better! With her help we were able to begin our family room remodel with a more clear vision of this and future purchases. The furniture came weeks before promised and the delivery and set-up guy were tidy and cordial. Amethyst was the biggest asset in our choice of Dunk & Bright!

I came in the store in Oct 2019 after searching several stores but right away the salesperson TAMMY helped me find a beautiful bedroom set and even helped me find a mattresses to go with it for a great deal. No complaints, there was a price discrepancy and they fixed it without much effort on my part. The couch was delivered over a half hour earlier than the time block, which was a bit inconvenient not being home at the time but it worked out fine. Were very happy with the sectional we purchased!
Got a great price on a chaise lounge. Purchase on Thurs day and delivered on Tuesday. Free delivery to the door. Angela the salesperson explained to me that it actually meant to the door, in the garage so we had to get someone to help us carry it in. Still...free delivery. Id do it like that again unless there was a lot of furniture such as a living room or bedroom suite. Angela ourgave us the best deal available for the chaise and process was quick and without a hitch.
I have dealt with Sue Ann for several purchases and always ask for her. She is very friendly and knows her products.The delivery service was great. The two men that delivered were very friendly and asked if I wanted them to remove their shoes. The day before I got a call telling me they would be delivering between 8:30 & 10:30. They were here at 9:00.
The purchasing experience was very nice, but we had to wait a month to get the bed and when it was delivered, the brackets did not work that were sent with the delivery people. They had to use our old brackets which squeak and the bed is now almost a foot away from the headboard. Also, one of your delivery people left his gloves here. I dont know if we paid for the brackets, but it would be nice to get some that work better with our headboard. Thank you, Sharon Everts

They also gave me time to check out their inventory on my own.When the delivery men came they called just before they were arriving. They were on time and very polite. Most importantly they took care with bring the furniture in to our home and not scratching/denting it. We originally bought our new living room set on 1/1 with delivery on 1/5. When the day came for delivery due to a clerical error it was scheduled for the wrong date. We had already removed the old set and needed the furniture ASAP. While originally upset we were able to work with our sales rep and get the set on the 5th like promised. Although there was an error Dunk and Bright did everything in their power to make it right and even called several times to apologize. We have worked with them before and they are by far the most professional people you can work with. I 100% recommend using them for your furniture or mattress needs.
We purchased a chaise lounge for our finished basement. It took five weeks to come in. We love the couch, however we were told we didn’t need our doorways to be measured as it was so small. Unfortunately it would not fit down the stairs when it arrived so we had to bust through our wall to get it down the stairs. We paid for white glove delivery which they refunded to us because it was their fault that we didn’t know the couch wouldn’t fit down the stairs. The couch also came with one pillow instead of two so they had to order us the second pillow and mail it to us. Overall we like the couch but wish the delivery went better.

We recently purchased a living room set from Dunk and Bright and the whole experience was great! It took me several trips of looking and changing my mind before finally ordering something, but our salesman was very patient. He didnt pressure us in any way, answered our questions, and allowed us to take our time. We wanted an extra long couch and ended up ordering 2 love seat sections from a sectional, which has been perfect! We checked out every other furniture store in the area and no one else offered that as an option.
They have what you need but I think the prices are a bit steep. I used to be a furniture salesman in NYC and the prices here are a bit much. The store is very nice and the staff is very friendly and know their stuff. If it wasn’t for the price hike I would give these guys 5 Stars. I like to go in and walk around they have super nice art work unfortunately the cost is unrealistic.
The sales people were very helpful and although there was a long delay before I could receive my furniture due to errors on my end they were understanding. The delivery when I could actually schedule it was actually earlier than expected. They were professional and fast with the assembly of all the furniture.
Twice in the last 18 months my wife and I have made purchases at Dunk & Bright. Initially we were searching for a new mattress and we found a huge selection to choose from. The customer service was incredible, and it made for a very enjoyable shopping experience. When we decided to purchase a new bedroom set our good experience from the past sent us back again. With a different sales associate, we had another great buy. The selection in this store is amazing. The delivery guys were first rate too. Delivery was on time and the massive bedroom set was carried through our home without a scratch. You can tell Dunk & Bright puts a sharp emphasis on customer service!
We were scheduled to have a sofa set, and mattress delivered today. The delivery guys showed up on time, but only had our sofa set. After a call to the store, they arranged for a 2nd delivery later today, which just arrived. They made things right, and I am very satisfied with the furniture and their service.

We spoke with Rita in customer service who was exceptional in working to resolve the problem. Dunk & Bright is a company well represented by everyone with whom we dealt. I bought a chair at the Salina st Syracuse store about 2 months ago. Lady was very helpful. I decided I wanted a second chair just like the first. I called the store ( I’m in quarantine with everyone else) and the person knew exactly what I wanted, bought it without even looking at. They gave me delivery date of the 22 nd. Between one and three p m. Was here at noon.This store has amazing people working for them. I just wish I could remember names so I could thank them properly.
We have purchased from D & B in both 2012 and 2013. One purchase was a mattress set; they have a very large selection set up that customers can try. Delivery and setup was within days, by two very presentable employees, and they took away the old mattress set.We also purchased two bedroom sets for teenagers. Large showroom had a very good selection of sets. Salesperson took us through all of the options, and even dug out the manufacturers books for more variety. Delivery came in two visits because of a back-order, but we werent charged. Delivery guys again were neat and efficient, even though it was snowing. Teens are very happy with their new bedrooms, and we will happily shop at D & B for future furniture needs!

Weve purchased things from them in the past and have never been disappointed.We were approached and greeted by Johnnie. She was a terrific salesperson and a great help. We were there for a new matress and a new leather recliner. She helped us first with the chair and once we decided on the one we wanted, she brought us over to the mattress department. We really appreciated the time she took to educate us on the different types of mattresses that were available, their costs and benefits. We made a decision on the one we wanted and she did the paperwork with us. Johnnie was kind, funny, easy to ask questions of and not pushy. When we are in need of another item from Dunk & Bright - well ask for her.
Sales staff, especially Ms. Johnnie, very knowledgeable about furniture, home decoration and design. She will make suggestions to ensure you have the best you need for your home. Have shopped there for years and their quality and customer service are still at the top.
I was told by the salesperson that the bed we were purchasing would arrive in 2 weeks. Called two weeks later and was told that we might have it in another month. The person I was talking to on the phone that claimed to be a manager said all they could do was send me a voucher for a future purchase. Poor customer service and they were unwilling to make me satisfied.
I was a little discouraged at first to find out our furniture couldnt be delivered as was advertised on the website - but Jackie was very helpful in offering a few options, and we ended up getting everything delivered a week ahead of what the new estimate was. The delivery guys were on time and wonderful.

Professional sales staff that were friendly and helpful but not pushy or overbearing. She listened to my likes, dislikes, wants and needs and never tried to upsell or sway just to make a sale. Delivery guys were great, even shoveling some snow out of the way so I didn’t have to! I would recommend this location to anyone that asks.
Where to begin? Well, the employees at the store are nice and friendly, especially when looking to do business, but delivery and setup service? Not so good. When I ordered my bed, I was told by the nice lady not to worry and that the guys will take my old bed out of my place and setup my new one. When the day came of delivery, the bed was delivered, but they didnt take my old bed nor did they setup the new bed. I called customer service and explained and finally got a call back roughly six hours later. The lady I spoke to stated that I had to put my old bed in the plastic that the new bed came in and set the old bed on my porch for the guys to take. Huh? Why was I not told that from the beginning? I did not have the time to do that cause I was occupied so Ive been stuck with my old bed all week until tonights trash night. Not to mention I setup my new bed myself.
We ordered furniture from Dunk and Bright that was to be delivered between 4-6 weeks it took between 7 & 8 weeks to arrive. The company would provide updates when you called but each time it would be something different contradicting our previous information we received. The delivery guys fought the entire time they moved our furniture in and damaged the inside of our building! Not exactly white glove service we ordered and paid for!
With each of my purchases over the years from Dunk and Bright, I have been very satisfied with the overall shopping experience from start to finish and of course, the quality furniture. My last visit to the store was no exception. My wife and I were greeted right away by Nick Valentino who led us to one of the abundant sofa sections. After answering our questions and getting a good idea of what size and style we wanted, he let us browse around the large store at our leisure. Once we found the perfect sofa, he was extremely patient as he helped us choose the appropriate grade material which would stand up to teenagers and dogs! Look forward to many years with my new sofa.
I ordered a dining room table for my elderly mother online as a Christmas present. The table arrived today and they called and wanted to leave it outside her apartment building in the snow if she didnt come get it. Shes almost 70 years old and lives alone so she told them to take it back because she cant lift it. After a call to their manager they agreed to bring the table into her apartment and just dropped an unassembled box on the floor. Im out of state so now shes stuck with an unassembled table in a box. I didnt order this from IKEA, I ordered a complete table delivered to my mom. Horrible business, I would give 0 stars if I could.
I always buy furniture from Dunk & Bright because I like their quality & customer service. Until this last purchase that is. I went to pay off a furniture set that was on layaway for 2 months, when I did I was told it would be available in 2 wks & I would get a call. 2 wks later I went back in to purchase a table set & checked to see if the furniture was in since I was there just 1 day before it was due to be in, but it wasnt in ok fine... I gave it a couple days still received no calls from the store. I called only to find out my order had never been placed even though it was completely payed for! I was given another 3 wk waiting period. Over a month later I still dont have my furniture! They have really changed my opinion on this furniture store. Im just wondering if I never called them numerous of times, would I still be waiting for a phone call. I shouldve canceled when being that all I was offered was free set up of a sofa... Like it takes so much to set up a sofa. Disappointing.
We have been purchasing our furniture from Dunk and Bright since the early 1980s. For the most part weve always had a great experience, awesome quality of furniture and good sales and sales people. However the last two times weve been there, with-in a four month span, its all changed! Confusing/misleading sales floor with no sales people volunteering the information, less of a choice of brands and genuine caring knowledgeable sales persons. Not to mention the changing of the banks they use for people to build their credit. We wanted to boost up our credit a little more so we bought our last piece of furniture through a bank they use to get a Dunk and Bright credit card. Had it for four months. When we went back to use it for a little amount ($350.) Got all the paper work done and was told very coldly, Oh we dont use that bank anymore! I just activated the card that morning! Dont you think their shouldve been an announcement recording along with activating it??? Yes we had the cash to pay for our purchase but that is defeating the purpose of building better credit. I refuse to go through yet another bank and have a hard inquiry against my credit. My credit is not bad but better is always better. Also refuse to spend three hours again picking out something just right for our decor only to go home empty handed!! Thanks Dunk and Bright --- your doing it wrong!!
I was very happy to walk out of Dunk and Bright Saturday with 2 COMFORTABLE easy chairs ordered in the color and fabric I wanted. It was due mostly to the help I received from your sales associate Marge Lynch. She listened to my description patiently and lead me to areas where I might find what I wanted. I liked that she left me alone awhile to browse before checking back with me. When I told her my price range, she acknowledged it respectfully and double-checked that I had tried all of the chairs in that range. When I finally found the chair I wanted, she urged me to look through all of the fabrics to find the one I truly would be happy with. Marge never rushed me or pressured me. When its time for me to buy a next mattress, I will be back at Dunk and Bright asking for Marge to help me. Kudos to Marge!
So we ordered a bedroom set for my step-daughter. It was delivered June 6th. The delivery guys brought it into the house and left. When I unboxed it all the dresser brackets were all broke on one side of the dresser. I immediately called Dunk and Bright, told them of the issue and sent them the pictures that they requested. The lady I spoke with said she had received them and that their service guy would call within three business days. At the end of the 3rd business day and no call I called them back. 5 minutes later the service guy calls me and says he would order the required parts and that Dunk and Bright would schedule an appointment for him to come and perform the work. A week later or so they call and said the parts were in and the earliest they can come is July 8th. So now a month later and a brand new dresser that still can’t be used. The service company calls on the 7th and says that they will be here on the 8th between 1230 and 230. I take the day off from work to have this thing FINALLY FIXED. At 12pm on the 8th the service tech calls and says the wrong parts were ordered. Mind you this was after D and B had photos of the broken parts! I call the customer service manager at the store and wouldn’t you know it, she was on the other line with another customer. I left a message for a call back. No such call yet. So a wasted day off and then there will be another wasted day of if/when this thing gets fixed. Lesson learned from this outfit. Never again!!!UPDATE: So I emailed as requested and called an left message for someone to call me back 3 times now and I cannot get the time of day from this business!!! Dresser still unable to be used now and it’s been a month and a half. TO BE CONTINUED!
We were so pleased with our salesperson Angela from her help online to her help in the store, she patiently assisted my elderly mother in finding the perfect power-lift recliner and making it available immediately. The store also provided a motor scooter to make the store accessible for my mother. I also LOVE their website!!!
Best customer service and satisfaction.I previously left a horrible review. Dunk and bright has made sure I have the furniture I want. Have gone above and beyond to right a previous error. I am very pleased with how they treated me and handled the situation. Plus,I love my furniture.

Great we experience, the sales lady was awesome! Not to pushy and no one followed us around asking if they could help. We walked around for 20 minutes before she came back and asked how it was going. We told her what we were looking for and within more 30 minutes we were out the door and going on with the rest of our day! Couldnt be happier with the experience.
Purchased a desk, sectional sofa, and ottoman. The desk will not be in for several weeks, which I am ok with since they told me this up front. Was told the sofa and ottoman were in stock items and would be delivered a week after I purchased them. I called to confirm 2 days prior to the delivery date. Was told yes I would be getting my items by then. I gave away my living room furniture so I would have room for my new furniture. Less than 24 hrs before the scheduled delivery, I get a call. The furniture is not in stock. Now I have no livingroom furniture! And they are now saying it will be at least 2 weeks until I get my items! Extremely unhappy and strongly considering canceling and taking my business elsewhere. Moral of the story - do not believe them when they say you will get your furniture or you will end up like me with no place to sit and relax despite paying for furniture in full and being told you would have it.
I bought a full living room set and an extra sofa. Also 6 dining room chairs. I love the furniture. Sadly the truck arrived at a time that had clearly been canceled. I even double checked to make sure the cancellation is understood. The new day was scheduled and I was given a 2 hour window. They were supposed to be at my house between 5pm and 7pm. The furniture was a surprise for my family with a special chair for my husband. I couldnt believe it when my husband called me at 3:15 and said that we had a furniture delivery and they were 3/4th the way finished. I rushed home and got there 15minutes after my husband called. Every thing was inside and while it was beautiful, my surprise of 2 months was spoiled. So disappointed! NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE COMPANY SO RETURN EMAIL WAS MEANINGLESS
We had been looking for some living room furniture for a new house but kept running into the same over sized piecies every where we went. At Dunk and Bright we not only found a sofa and love seat we liked, but also in a smaller footprint that is going to be perfect for the space it will be in. We also were in the market for a new dresser but wanted all wood - we ended up finding it here too. Sales person was great and very helpful in helping us find what we were looking for.
I worked with Johnnie to purchase furniture for my living room. This was my first ever time picking out furniture before this its been hand me downs from family and friends. Johnnie was so patient and helpful, we got our steps in walking back and forth between several furniture sets I couldnt decide on. She was so accommodating to me and my daughter and kept reassuring me to take my time and really think about what is the right fit for me. I ended up purchasing an end table coffee table, and TV Stand. I was looking at a couch and chair as well but I wasnt sure if they would fit through my entrance way to my home so instead of pushing the sale anyways Johnnie told me to measure my doorway and living room and send her the dimensions so she could see if everything would be able to fit comfortably. Excellent service I will be back for any future purchases I may need.
Shopping/ buying experience was great, we shopped for hours and purchased close to 10 pieces of furniture. Half of the furniture was delivered on time and the delivery experience couldnt have been better.The second half of the furniture we were told would be in stock by the time of the delivery - it wasnt. We were then told to check back in a week... still on a ship from manufacturer. Now it has been over a month since it was first scheduled to be delivered and no one at the sales office (have spoken to at least 3 different people, one per week I call) is any help - they all say to check back in a another week. While they obviously cannot make it ship any faster, it is their job as customer service to assist in explaining why our furniture has yet to be delivered, what went wrong, and what they are going to do to make sure this never happens again. One out of the 3 people did tell me they would investigate what happened and call back...unsurprisingly at this point, she didnt call back.There are dozens of furniture stores to choose from. Customer service should be a key component in how companies establish brand loyalty, create life long customers, and build word-of-mouth recommendations. Never again.

I recently had the overwhelming task of updating my family room and decided to give Dunk and Bright a try. I worked with Tania and ended up with a beautiful room with quality furniture at a reasonable price! The personalized service she offered went above and beyond an ordinary trip to a furniture store. It will definitely be my first stop for any future furniture needs.
We waited 7 weeks to pick up 6 stools only to find out they were in boxes. We were never told that assembly was not part of the sale. When I called to discuss this with customer service, the only response was we could return them. We also bought living room furniture for our son. The delivery date was changed 3 times and took 2 extra weeks.
Recently purchased 2 items ...entertainment center and dining room table and chairs. Both items were packaged well..Perhaps too well as I am left with a ton of styrofoam and cardboard. The entertainment center had virtually no assembly...very pleased with the item. The dining table and chairs while substantial , required way too much assembly . Chairs required legs and braces . The table required all legs as well as a storage bin...actually was easier. I was able to assemble all but there was no warning nor indication in description as to the level of assembly....So always ask!
We have purchased from D&B on several occasions over the last 15 years and always received good sales service. Our last purchase caused us to call for some service on a leather chair slightly damaged in delivery. D&B sent over a leather craftsman within days of our request. The gentleman was very courteous and remedied the issue within 15 minutes! Unbelievable service from sale to delivery to concern.We will continue to shop and Dunk & Bright!
I had been thinking of new furniture after putting in new flooring last summer. I entered the contest to win $15,000 in furniture today and didnt win but feel like I still won anyway. I got the sofa and rug I had been looking for at a great price. Tammy was very helpful & patient as I made my dicisiion. This is the 3rd sizable purchase Ive made at Dunk and Bright and Im confident Ill be as pleased with todays purchase as I was with my first two!
Best place to buy furniture, tables, mattresses, etc in Syracuse in my opinion.Girlfriend and I went to other places before Dunk & Bright. We were shocked that the same table at Ashley Furniture was $100-$200 cheaper at Dunk & Bright. And we had an amazing sales woman Marie that answered our questions, popped up when needed, but most importantly, left us alone to wander and explore.Nothing more annoying than a sales person following you around, but Ive bought from Dunk & Bright three different instances and I never felt hassled by the sales people. They are always helpful without being overbearing and needy.Great options, cheap prices, awesome sales team...honestly, Dunk & Bright is the only place I like to show in Syracuse. Highly, highly recommend this place.

There is a definite reason we have shopped and purchased all of our needs for home at D & B. Not only do they have the best inventory, Amazing quality and brands that you can trust, but, their sales professionals are truly the best. Just this evening purchased a new ISerta hybrid mattress and adjustable frame! Phil Mayberry in the Mattress Shoppe was truly amazing. Very well informed, polite, personable and walked us through what could have been a long, confusing and stressful experience. Girlfriend and I have been getting jerked around for three months on the delivery date for a couch we bought in March during their St Patricks day sale. Just called to see if it was in stock yet because we were told the beginning of June it would finally be here and they told us it is still another month out! When we bought the couch in March we were told it would be ~4 weeks at most for delivery and have been waiting for our new couch since then. We had a pleasant enough experience shopping but keep getting strung along with false delivery dates. If we would have known 4 months+ would pass before we had our couch we would have went somewhere else.

When we found something we liked, the process to set up payment & delivery was fast & easy.Good quality furniture and very good sale prices. Kathleen explained everything to us, gave us options and did not pressure our decisions. We got white glove delivery and the team that came to bring our couch were very quick.

2022-01-29My wife and I were in just looking at living room possibilities. Nick was very helpful and very, very patient with us. We spent about 2 to 3 hours looking and testing the product. In fact we accidentally found our perfect bedroom set. Everything was seamless. In 5 days we had most of our furniture delivered. Absolutely satisfied!!

2022-03-23Great selection! Salesperson was helpful but not pushy. Never tried to upsell me and let me look around on my own until I was ready for her assistance. Delivery was quick and the delivery men we very polite and professional. They showed me how to remove the drawers should I need to and made sure I was satisfied with everything before they left.

2022-01-30We went to several furniture stores before deciding to purchase from Dunk and Bright. They had the best selection for the best prices and the salespeople weren’t pushy in the slightest. Some items were on back order, but they were upfront about lead times and communicated with us when our items arrived. Shaymaa was the interior designer that helped us make our final selections—she was great!

2022-02-15We knew the sofa would be great, but the delivery was on the date, EARLY and we paid for them to bring it IN. Worth it. Super quick and easy. And it would have never been that way if I did it. Id be divorced by now if I tried to bring it in. Thank you D&B!

2022-04-20I got to the store and was very happy when the guy working the floor introduced himself, brought me to the stuff I wanted to look at and then left me alone to look. At other places they follow and hound you and I dont like that. As soon as I needed him he helped me with whatever I needed and I quickly found something I liked. For the delivery they brought 3 guys to bring in a couch and loveseat and were so fast. They asked me were I wanted it and even moved it for me when I didnt like the first place ( I just had surgery or I wouldnt have asked). They were very nice and professional and I would definitely recommend them!

2022-02-23It was a win win experience! Johnnie knew exactly what I was looking for, my recliner was in stock the couch was due in within the month. It ended up coming in within three weeks! The two gentlemen who made the delivery deserve five stars, prompt, polite, professional and were in and out within a half hour…thank you Dunk and Bright for a great experience!

2022-03-02Great experience. Only thing I can complain about is the sales person apparently isn’t aware that some of the couches can’t be built inside. So the poor delivery people had to carry my very heavy couch up the stairs and try to pivot around to get inside my apartment. We had a scary moment where we were not sure it would even fit. Other than that my experience was great. Give those poor delivery guys a raise!!!
