Sidewall was punctured on my tire at 8 a.m on a Saturday morning. Called Mike at Dunn tire and was told they were busy but had a new tire matching my needs there and I should come in and theyd try to help. Took my Van in at 9:30 and was out by 10:30 with a new tire, my doughnut spare put where it belonged and on my way. Nice guys to work with. Thanks again.
Great customer service! I bought two tires from Dunn recently, but had a continuing problem with a slow leak in one of the other tires. The dealer couldnt resolve this issue. I was certain that I was going to need to purchase two more tires before my daughter returned to school in Ohio. The tech at Dunn not only found the problem, but it was corrected without charge! No one tried to sell me unnecessary new tires! I recommend Dunn Tires for their expertise and honesty! Tom L. Buffalo
We were out of town and the trucks break broke. Dunn Tire did an excellent job in getting us in right away and fixing the break so we were able to drive home. Everyone at the facility was very polite and professional. One staff member went home sick so they were already down one person. They didnt have one of the parts that we needed so they had to send someone to another Dunn Tire to pick it up, a half hour away. I would definitely recommend Dunn Tire to all my friends and family.
Overall my experience was OK. My brand new wheels where scratched just a bit, nothing to call and complaint. The only dissapointment was that if I made an appointment to just install tires on wheels off the car why was I told that they would call me when ready? They did an hour and a half later. If you make an appointment, is so they can start working on you order at the time of your appointment.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION !Ive never had an ABS system fault until having my brakes and tires serviced here. I paid $1,400 for a major safety system fault. Dont make the mistake I made, stay away from Dunn Tire!Again, I have NEVER had this issue with my car at any other mechanic.This location had issue after issue with the ABS system on my car. They had me drive it around twice, for 50 miles each trip (100 mi total) and said this would reset the system, but the system wasnt reset by the time my car was finally ready. Now, the ABS light wont go out. My cars manual indicates there is a fault in the ABS system itself. I dont know what they messed with at this Dunn Tire, but they somehow passed my cars state inspection after they triggered a fault in my ABS system.In addition, they told me that my car would be ready at 6 PM, only to have me sit in the waiting area for a whole hour after close. I wouldve greatly appreciated a proper time approximation, that way I wouldnt have to sit in this waiting room getting increasingly more upset with each passing minute.
I had to exit the highway in a WNY storm when my car started making a strange sound. My on board computer showed a tire pressure at zero. I had been to Dunn Tire on Elmwood before, it was 4 miles away. I stopped at 3 gas stations on the way to fill the tire, each time at zero again. I made it to Dunn and greeted by the gentleman at the service counter where I told him I needed a tire, and he replied he could do nothing until next week. “Ok. The driver’s left is at zero so can I leave it where it is? I’ll get a ride home.” His expression change and asked me for my keys. I waited 20 minutes not knowing what was going on when another gentleman came from the garage and said you’re all set and motioned for me to walk with him to my car. What? But? Where do I pay? “The storm just knocked out our electricity, so Merry Christmas!, and handed me my key. There are times when you experience really good people who do really good work and they make our communities strong and a place worth living in. ~Thank you Dunn Tire~
Great to customers but could care less about there employees dont want to pay let managers steal people tools (mike gold) an try an degrade you will let you make them 3000 before lunch an let you go and not allow you to finish a two week notice took money right out my familys mouth wouldnt recommend them to anyone always upselling
I have used the Dunn Tire on Delaware Ave in Bflo. They have surpassed my expectations by being polite, professional, and very accommodating when I needed them most. And all while being very short-handed. Not even my (huge) car dealer could help but Dunn did! Pricing was just as competitive as others. Highly recommend!
The guys at Dunn tire on Delaware in Buffalo we’re great! They got me in without an appointment for a shredded tire. They were able to put two new tires on, did an alignment, replaced tie rods, and got me on my way in a short amount of time. They explained what they were doing and why and I’m happy with the work they did.
Had a wheel alignment done for a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit. The customer service was exceptionally good and the service was quicker than expected. I am usually very skeptical with trusting repair shops. They gave no feelings of distrust or that I had to watch out, as not not get ripped off. A very fair and honest repair facility. Even when I attempted to appear vulnerable to manipulation, to see if they would try to get more money out of me, they didnt attempt to. Its hard to find trust worthy mechanics but I think I found a place where I can feel comfortable with repairs being done. I would recommend this place and will be returning.
Made 9:00 appointment several days prior to service. My vehicle wasn’t touched until almost 10:30 after I insisted. After service was completed, I again had to demand attention to complete the service. Never told what was wrong with my tire (until I sent the employee back to inquire). I had asked for a quote on 4 new tires. That was ignored. Oh well — too bad for Dunn. I will go elsewhere.
It’s always a frustrating experience. Every time. This time, they put our appointment into their system for the wrong time. When my husband showed up at the correct time, they made him wait 2 full hours before they got our car into the shop. There was no apology and no attempt to even pretend that they cared or that he was a priority. We’re actively looking for another tire shop with storage options. Shame on us for sticking with them so long.Update 11/15/21: Today was our last visit to Dunn Tire ever. We kept this final appointment as they had our snow tires in storage. The appointment to get the snow tires put on was at 8am. I arrived at 7:55 and by 8:15 had yet to be checked in. They then tried to tell me that I was late and they would get to me when they could—which did not go over well as you might imagine. During the course of the appointment, they told me I had to buy a new battery when the one they had installed less than a year before was still under warranty. They told me that they had never aligned the tires—even though they have switched my summer and winter tires every year since 2017. What are they doing, just throwing tires on the vehicle and sending us out the door? Driving on maligned tires can be dangerous. They did cover the battery and alignment when it was all said and done. But after 3.5 hours (seriously) and another awful experience, I am glad to be someone else’s customer.
Took my car in for a tire and an oil change, was done quicker than expected and despite needing additional service, I didn’t feel pressured to do it all at once. Will definitely be back to get everything else done I need when my budget allows, but overall I was very pleased with my experience here.
I recently went to the Dunn tire on Delaware for an inspection. They discovered that my back brakes were shot and replaced them on the spot for a reasonable price. The service was professional yet very friendly. I believe the two individuals working were Matt and Paul, both of whom were exceptionally accommodating in terms of resolving the issue in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend Dunn tire, both for tires and other car service related issues.
I always go to Dunn. They’re by far the best in class when in comes to tires and customer service. In my most recent experience, I bought tires privately that needed to be mounted and balanced. In a lapse in judgment, I called several other mechanics to see if I could get in same day. They were all booked up. I called Dunn, they were able to get me in same day and the job was completed in an hour! Always go to Dunn!
At first I was leary due to some communication issues while taking my initial information. Said they would call me back with better information after they checked into it more. Less than an hour late they returned my call with some great information. The tires they recommended were better than I first was originally looking for but had the performance I needed (thanks Paul). Best part they had availability the next day to install.I could go on and on but I have to say I had the best mechanic (thanks Chris). He found an underline problem i thought I had but the dealer couldnt diagnose.....Once again great service and friendly atmosphere. I will be back to get my issue above fixed.
Every time Ive been here there are mishaps poor communication and even corrections that had to be made resulting in 3 trips for a simple alignment that wasnt done properly. Another issue is price negotiated along with tires being installed changed twice from what I ordered online. Also called me at work trying to up sell 4 times an a hour and only to get home with missing radiator res cap missing I had to order new one from dealer. Never again.... Ill go to firestone next time or fox tire they have better prices and customer service.
03-25-22 called for an appointment to fix a flat. They were booked up, but was given the option as a walk in. Walked in at 4:30pm, they were short handed but still took care of me. Great job, great service, got it done in about an hour. Overall great experience. Thank you Laura and Tyler.
I got my inspection done in March, with all new tires and then got my front brakes and rotors done in April. I made an appointment for today May 17th for an oil change, and new filters and these guys tell me I have a little life left in my rear brakes and rotors. Tell me how when my car was there 2 previous times and they were that bad, but not bad enough yo mention it then. Terrible customer service. Would not go drive by this place again let alone take my car there.Edit: the stores HR person, Harry, reached out to me to hear my complaints. He understood where I was coming from and got everything sorted for me. Great customer experience after that. Brought my car back and they reaffirmed my original thoughts. They then were able to fix the problem with much more clear communication. Would recommend these guys time and time again.
Called Delaware Ave location..spoke to manager Mark and told him what I needed he researched it got back to me an hour later ordered new snow tires for me got them in a few days and got them installed all in a timely manner. He was extremely helpful and very professional I did not have the same experience at the Lockport location that place was a nightmare
Purchased 4 tires, expensive ones because of their “full coverage” warranty… 18 months later, 1 on them blew out completely, and 1 had a massive bulge in the tire wall, I went in to get them replaced and was told it came to $311 for the replacements. I was shocked and obviously irritated because I was under the impression that “full coverage” warranty meant, you know, full coverage… after paying $311, I left, and looked at the psi on each tire and not a single one was inflated to the proper psi, NOT ONE. I called their customer service line the next day to complain about my overall experience and tell them that I found the exact same tires on Amazon for $65 less per tire, after some back and forth, they offered me a refund of ~$100… so it still cost me $200 to replace tires that were supposed to be covered under a “full coverage” warranty. I would absolutely recommend buying tires from somewhere else.
If I could rate no stars for this business I would. I had took my dodge challenger there for full brakes, tires, tune up and new battery. They refused to do any work on my car except replacing the battery. My car was towed to Dunn Tire by AAA. None of the mechanics from Dunn tire could figure out to put my car in neutral to push it in the garage. My car sat for a few years do to life hardships so it needed all of the things listed for starters. The manager Andrew called me a day after my car was towed there and told me that they refused to do any work on the car because they THOUGHT the car needed transmission work. Which I dont know how they came to that conclusion because they never moved the car from where AAA dropped the car off. I had to pay for another tow truck to come and take my car to another shop.. While the car was being towed one of the managers STARED at car being put on the tow truck as if that was the first time he saw a car being towed in his life. I took my car to another car shop nearby and got my brakes replaced and car running within 2 hours of that shop opening up for the day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Just poor management and they will judge you for the condition of your car. They will use some lazy excuse to not do work on your car even though they provide those services.
They got me an appointment quickly, and started the work instantly. The work was quick and thorough, and Harry the mechanic was very honest with me regarding exactly when I should have additional work done in the near future, and why. These guys are honest professionals from the first phone call, to driving home!
My wife and I just moved to Buffalo. We were looking for a place that could service our cars professionally, hospitably, and thoroughly. We brought our vehicles in on separate days. They were very thorough and patient with both of us, individually and separately. They kept us abreast of what was needed to repair our car prior to incurring the cost. They advised us and left the choice to us. In Pennsylvania and West Virginia they call these garage guys. It looks like we found our garage guys! Thank you for servicing our vehicles, getting us our inspections, putting on our plates, and repairing our vehicles. Will be back!
Just had a great experience here last week. Went in needing tires and they replaced them all in just over an hour and for a reasonable price. They also didn’t try to sell me on unnecessary things or try to push about getting other work done on my car. I often find car places try to take advantage of women and get very pushy about things, and I did not experience that at all with the guys at this Dunn. I will definitely be back for more work in the future.
I had originally had a very disappointing experience with the work I had done but Bob Ziolkowski was easily the most accommodating and professional person I had the pleasure of ever dealing with …… he is the regional service manager and personally double checked my vehicle and made sure everything was right and showed me everything all the way through …..then told me my rear bearings were shot and he personally replaced them free of costs for my inconvenience. He personally and single handedly turned this customer around to Dunn Tire for certain. Thanks and cheers 🍻
I’ve been using Dunn Tire for a number of years now. I’ve never encountered a problem/issue with them. Professional and friendly they know customer service. Friday, I had a 10am appointment to have my snow tires put on the car. I arrived 20 minutes early. They took me right away. Done in 30 minutes. I highly recommend Dunn Tire.
Great service. I filled out the appointment form online and heard back within 24 hours with a scheduled appointment. They were out of the tires I requested, but had a recommendation for similar tires when they reached out again. I was in and out within an hour with four new tires, a re-alignment, and new power steering fluid. Seating was socially distanced and everyone was very professional.
My 84 year old mother spent nearly 1,000.00 on new tires and installation there. She leaves and the tires look like we’re dragged through the mud. The sealer or soap whatever was all around the outside of the tire. She went back to ask about it and there response was go through the car wash it’ll come off. How unprofessional. Had this been my shop the “tech” would have definitely been reprimanded and at the least would have cleaned the tires. Great job loosing business
I bought 4 new tires at a competitive price after checking several other places for the same tire which I have been using on my car for years. The service was great and done timely. Two weeks after I had them installed I had a bolt lodged in one of the tires, I went to Dunn, they fixed it immediately, for FREE, and I was on my way again. I have used them several times over many years and have been satisfied.
This was a convenient location to get some general maintenance done on my car and get great deals on tires. Since I got my new tires in 2017, they offered free rotations. Also, if my tires were still under warranty, they would pro-rate them or replace them.Yesterday, I had my typical appointment of an oil change and rotation. Paul, the service rep, went out to check on my car stats and came back in with a terrible attitude along with stating that he wont rotate my tires.I worked in retail, car insurance, and I am now a 1st responder for the state, so I know how to be friendly and courteous. Paul and some other previous service reps at the store have an awful tough guy reputation and demeanor. I get that this location is in the city and you need a thick skin to work in this area.There were other customers in the store that morning that he gave the same attitude towards. The auto body shop industry doesnt have the best reputation of being customer service friendly, but this is a corporate spot that does work on customer service. This place also shares my last name... You would think that Id get slightly better service with that affiliation.To wrap it up, I did not get my promised and contracted tire rotation from a guy that has a contagious bad attitude. There have been some great employees at this location and this place did help me and others during the pandemic. I hope things improve.
This was the worst experience i have every experienced. I was told 1 1/2 hours for new tires to be put on and i has to wait 4 hours. The manager,paul, then started to scream at me and told me that he didn’t want to do anything for me when i expressed how angry i was. Other people in the waiting room also said that the way he yelled at me was very very wrong. Will never go back to here.
Took nearly a week to get a tire plugged, was never called when I was advised by two people that I would get a call updating me on the status. When I called to check on the status I was on hold, placed on hold twice (each time someone came on they asked me how they could help after I had already advised the 1st person) and was on hold for approximately 25 mins in total. When I picked up the tire and asked if someone would be able to put it on, I was advised that with all the other appointments it would be at least an hour wait. I did not wait and will lot be back. Opportunity lost, as I was a first time customer.
Bought four new tires and had them put on, had several different options for my car. Took a little bit but it was a Sunday at 10am. Helpful, place was clean and everybody was abiding by covid guidelines. Went back today for the 25-50 mile check on my tires and was in and out.
Ive been there many times. Im very leery of going anywhere during the pandemic, but I needed an inspection by November 3rd. I arrived for my appointment to a socially distant line. The service man came and got my key before I even checked in! It turned out I needed brakes, but they were able to do that for a reasonable cost. I walked out of there 45 minutes after my appointment time! I was very happy with their swift service and cleanliness!
I like going to Dunn for work as it’s convenient and easy drop off. It’s close to home so I can leave the car and return when I get my call. Additional services such as oil changes and state inspections have also gone well. The new “contact by text” feature on the website is great too.However, after spending $1200 on recent work, I was dismayed to find my spare tire just sitting in the back of my car/van. The tech could have taken 3 minutes to put in back in its easy to access compartment under the rear deck. Sloppy finish to what would have been a very nice auto service encounter.
Dunn Tire never misses, their customer service is some of the best I’ve seen across the board. They always go the extra mile(s) to ensure the customer is always happy. Their facilities are always clean and accommodating. Dunn is the only place I’ll go for tires and have related services performed. Thank you so much. Dunn tire got my sons car in immediately after having it towed there. He got a flat and needed 4 new tires and thought he would have to leave it for the day. The guy explained the different tires and it was ready in an hr. Amazing service and amazing workers. Highly recommend.
Andrew was extremely courteous and helpful with all the repairs and expenses associated with my daughters car. I live 2 hours away and had ordered 4 tires installed and a NYS Inspection, requesting any recommendations for other repairss be run through me. Andrew called me for approval of each repair, which included full explanation of cost. He contacted me several times throughout the day with timely updates, gave me a detailed final bill amount that didnt change, and told me a specific time for my daughter to pick up her car stating, it will be ready to go when she gets here. It was, she was happy, I was relieved. I cant say more than that for my daughter driving safely and my peace of mind. Thank you, Andrew.
Having a nail in your tire when it’s a brand new car is bad enough. The guys at Dunn Tire made the experience better with making it speedy to get our tire fixed! Thank you from the counter help to the mechanics we had an amazing experience! Even better was getting to see the managers interactions with Mrs. Sherly. This woman knew something was wrong and the manager worked his butt off to fix what was wrong and make sure she had the best experience she could have!
1.Scheduling the appointment was great!2.Arriving at the store and starting the process was excellent.3. Here is where things fell below expectationsA. I had to ask to have the tires rotated. I bought all 4 tires at Dunn. They only have 20,000 miles on them.B. They could not get the spare down so I had to come back the next day. Not a problem just a surprise.C. When I left I was told the new tire would be $35 due to the tire protection plan I have. Good news.D. They installed new valve plugs but I had to ask for the caps to go with them.E. I came back the next day for the new tire. The cost was $60. That was a surprise. I had to buy the tire protection plan again and the valve and the installation. A surprise again. I thought the motto was out the door pricing.F. I was never showed how they rotated the tires. The muddy tire on the back was now on the front on the same side. I’m not sure which tire is the new one.G. I drove away and the car shakes. And the low pressure light is on.H. The second day, the techs did cover the steering wheel with plastic. That didn’t happen the first day.Overall, not completely satisfied with the attention to detail and communication and workmanship. They can do better.
From Harry via text chat on their website to David at Delaware Ave location I had a terrific experience with Dunn Tire. I had two low tires and needed them checked or possibly replaced before a road trip the next day. Harry arranged for David to inspect the tires and found another location that had stock if replacement needed. Tires were repaired quickly and I was on my way. Highly recommend Dunn Tire!
I had my set appointment scheduled to have my snow tires put on my car. I arrived on time and they began the work right away. As his been the case in the past the waiting room was pleasant and comfortable. The work took exactly one hour to complete. I was grateful there was no attempt to “up sell” me on some services which has occasionally happened in the past. All in all a great and efficient experience.
Very poor service. I had an appointment for a wheel bearing only. They go out to look at it and first thing they say is u need tired badly when my tired are only like half way down at most . Then theu try saying I had more issue wrong like my calipers which are fine I literally just did the whole break system. Then lastly they trying to charge me 445$ for a part that only cost 100$ at most. I highly do not recommend
I would have given five stars but they never went over my detailed report-now when I go back I’ll be asking about information I should have received when my tires were replaced. On top of this the paper work looked like the carbon copy had someone else’s report written o. It so I couldn’t make it out. Otherwise staff was awesome!
First and last time I will take my car here. Boyfriend took both our cars in mine for a quick alignment and his for an inspection they said they wouldnt do it because my control panels were bent I needed new brakes front and back and needed four brand new tires. They said his car pretty much had the same problems. Which came to about $2,000 worth of work altogether. So we took both cars back and went to my usual mechanic and they did my alignment and said that everything else on my car was fine. Boyfriend just had his inspection done and they said his car was good also. I would recommend a second opinion before you waste your money here. I would give 0 stars if I could.
It is as Jeremy Legasse said, the friendliness of the staff was on point (Delaware Ave location), but the communication was terrible. I scheduled an appointment to get new tires, but after getting there and waiting for an hour, I was told the tires werent even there. What sounded like a 1-2 hour wait time initially, turned into a 2.5 hour wait, and then a 3 hour wait. Almost every other customer there was having the same dilemma, one lady was even there almost 5 hours! I give this business 3 stars because the job performed seems solid and the staff was friendly; however, I dont think Ill be returning for any more business with Dunn Tire.
After a mix-up with scheduling through the corporate office, the staff at the Delaware Ave location were friendly and helpful, and the corporate office contact did what they could to fix the situation and make things right. When I got to my appointment for a seasonal tire changeover, the job was quickly and effectively completed.
Exceptional service. I had a blowout due to one of the famous Buffalo potholes and I came in with 30 minutes before they closed they had a new tire on and balanced for me within a matter of 15-20 minutes. Excellent customer service and very polite thank you very much.
Good and slight bad. I called in the morning to get 4 tires that day. Their warehouse sent them to them early afternoon and they did call me to let me know they were in, so I zipped over, and started the process. Knowing it would be several hours because I did not have an appointment ,they did fit me in, and knowing they were closing at 6:00 p.m., I went over at 5:30 and just sat in the waiting room. Nobody acknowledged me nobody said the order was done. I sat there for like 10 minutes finally I got up gave my name, and they just got the paperwork as if nothing happened. Also why do I ( or any customer) have to do the thanking for spending over $700. Why dont merchants do the thanking? Umm.. should be the other way around thank you...
I scheduled my tire change two weeks in advance for 1PM. We came to the shop today at 1PM and the employee told me my appointment was actually at 12PM and they tried to call me. He told me because I was late he had to reschedule my appointment to another day because they are overbooked. I showed him my recieved call log and my appointment confirmation from their website confirming my appointment for 1PM and that I had not received any call from them or a message. He immediately became defensive and told me he cant help me because he only has 1 tire tech in the shop. He lied to me, and told me that my appointment was not at the time it was and became defensive and rude almost immediately when I tried to show him my email confirmation. He then said there is nothing he can do for us today. I showed up on time, and was told I cant have my scheduled appointment and was lied to. Super disappointing and unprofessional of him to lie to us. We have been coming here for years and never had an issue before this. We were getting ready to buy new tires today too, glad Im not coming back!
I was treated respectfully and I didnt feel like they were trying to take advantage because I was female. Its hard to get your car fixed without knowing your stuff...but I want to thank John for his knowledge & professionalism. Hes an asset to your company...The Lady with the Red Taurus
I always go to this location for my tires, pressure checks, alignments, and flat repairs - and they’re always so nice and willing to answer even the smallest of questions!If you don’t want to wait, they’re a short walk to a few restaurants and plazas as well. Don’t forget to use those Dunn Coupons.All around considerate staff!
My vehicle was ready when I was told it would be. No surprises, just the same friendly and professional service I’ve always experienced. I haven’t bought tires anywhere else for 35 years. I’ve looked elsewhere now and then but have never found a reason to go anywhere else for tires.
I always go here for alignments very professional very nice respectful they even check your car for other potential problems an give you a chart on whats good or bad . Kinda of expensive .but hey just to be informed about potential problems is better than not know so it goes hand an hand give them a shot.
Very courteous and helpful but was unable to identify problem (oil pressure light keeps going on)- which started after oil change and tire rotation at Dunn in Lockport- who also could not identify problem(Dunn Lockport said there was an issue with filter when doing oil change)!!??
Bobby, Amiya, and Rachel all exceeded my expectations for service at a tire shop. This is my 1st experience with this location and 2nd with Dunn and theyve earned my loyalty. Side note: I actually look after my vehicle so if they say you need new rubber, Id be willing to bet its the truth. Theyve never seemed pushy with me and their garage bay doors are wide open of you care to watch them work.
Went to take my car in for an inspection, failed because my mirror’s turning light wasn’t working, but every other light was. I’m pretty sure as long as your front and back lights work, the cosmetic mirror one doesn’t need to in order to pass inspection. On top of that they definitely tried to nickel and dime me for a bunch of little things. Super disappointed and I’d make my own tire before ever having to go back to these hack jobs.
From the first time I got tires here, and ever since I have told everyone I know to use Dunn Tire. This repair to my tires which were leaking air took place faster than expected and cost less than expected. I will always be coming back to Dunn for all of my tire issues.
Amazing customer experience. I contacted this shop as I had a puncture in one of my tires on a rented vehicle. They quoted me $26.90 for the repair over the phone and explained that this was subject to an inspection and for them to confirm that the tire could be safely repaired. They booked the car in for 1pm and I got there at 1:10 and after checking and filling the forms I waited in their waiting room for the repair to be completed. Upon completion, only 10 minutes or so, they gave me a receipt for a $0 bill! I was amazed and asked why surprised and they confirmed with me that they were happy to complete the repair at No Charge! I called in the morning thinking I probably would not get an appointment for the day. My surprise was they had a time for 11:00am. The customer service was wonderful and they let me know up front what the cost may be and came to let me know if there were problems. I would definitely recommend Dunn tire to my friends.
I went to the Dunn tire on main and transit in williamsville and had an horrible experience. Then I went to The Dunn tire on Delaware and they were able to get me in on a busy Saturday and they were very professional and friendly . I Stored my winter tires at dunn tire over the winter. When I went to get my tires changed over they put someone elses tires on my vehicle. I called and told them and at first they told me they lost my tires and they would put four new tires on to replace the lost ones. When I brought the car in they changed their story and said that they switched my tires with my husband tires which was untrue, then they stated they found my tires at another location but didnt know when they would be in. Then they offered to refund me the $279.18 for services I got done instead of getting my snow tires. i told them i wanted my snow tires, but as of today still no tires. Do not do business with the Dunn Tire at 2300 Delaware Ave in Buffalo, they are dishonest.
I went to Dunn Tire for an alignment and was pleased with the service I received. They were fast, courteous, and got my car in and out with no nonsense or up-selling. My only problem was the fact that they had left me off the appointment list twice. However, when I had arrived for what I though was my appointment to find out that I wasnt on the list they were sure to get my car in anyway. I had to wait slightly longer than I would have normally, but for me thats not the end of the world. The wait time was still under 1 hour.
This place is reliable, provides high quality work, and is serious about service. I came in for an appointment for a tire change and it unexpectedly took 2 hours due to unforeseen complications and staff shortage. They apologized and erased my charge without any hesitation. I will definitely be back. The chains would never provide this kind of personal touch.
My tire was leaking air and on Jan 1st I contacted AAA to take a look and they advised where the leak was. It couldnt be repaired by them so they remove it and put on my spare. I called Dunn Tire the next day and though there were no appts. available, they told me to bring the tire in and I scheduled an appt the following day. When I arrived, the tirehad already been repair and they mounted the tire. I was in and out in 1/2 hr. They exceeded my expectations! Great customer service!!
Been there a few times over the years, with mixed results. Today after sitting in the lot for 15 minutes waiting for them to open, I went in to get a new tire. They said I should just drop it off, and when I said I had to wait for it, they said they would rather not have me wait there, because it will be a few hours. I never expected to be in and out of there, but to be told that Im not welcome in their waiting room? Where did they expect me to go?Never going to Dunn tire again!
I have been a long time customer of shop. Last Thursday I went to install 4 tires that I bought from them. They bended the floor of my van , because whoever worked on installing the tires tried to lift the vehicle up by supporting it on soft metal insteed on the frame or somewhere where the metal is not fragile. U wouldnt not expected this kind of mistakes from a shop that specializes on tire s.
I called on a Saturday for an appt for new tires I was told to dropped my car off on a Sunday at 10am and they would be done by end of business day 2pm. So I dropped it off at 10:10am and was called at 11:05am that everything was done. Brittany behind the desk was very nice and professional. She had a difficult customer ahead of myself and handled it with ease! Easy to do business with!
The gentleman who greeted me was kind and courteous. I believe his name was Mark and the help provided was done efficiently and without issue. I made mention to Mark that the next time I am in need of tires, I will strongly consider DUNN TIRE. I have always been happy with their service. Being a sponsor of the Buffalo Bills is nice too..GO BILLS!
Things that could have made this experience better. More communication when you set up appointment. If product is out of stock more options especially when customer wants a specific set of tires to qualify with rebate and credit card programs. Also take more walk ins it only creates more business. But otherwise I love the service. A year ago I came in for a flat repair now I am replacing and referring customers. Keep up the good service and keep improving.
I went in for tire rotation and alignment. It took 90 minutes and I made an appointment. Not acceptable. The first complaint I have is they overbook and can’t get the work done in a reasonable amount of time. They check the battery, the breaks and other items during each time you go in. That is why it takes so long. My battery we put in a month ago so it didn’t need to be checked. I expect this kind of service to take 60 minutes not 90.
I was dismayed that the service person at desk was not properly wearing his mask. It was not over his nose at all. Also, in a very busy space, there was no organized line and no social distancing. One of the customers kept walking around for a prolonged period without his scarf over anything but his chin.My tires were changed out quickly once I was processed which was a very long wait due to all those in waiting area.
Had to get a flat tire repaired. called ahead, they ordered the tire i needed, came in for the appointment i set, and i was in and out within 20 minutes! they didn’t try to upsell me on anything. i will come back here next time i need tire service. very friendly associates here as well.
My main complaint was that it took way too long for your shop to put on four tires and do an oil change. I had a scheduled 3 PM appointment and after I started impatiently pacing the shop, one of you team went to check on my car. At 4:45 I was told, theyre starting your tires now. In the interim, many other walk-in customers were taking care of while I waited until 5:30 for my vehicle. It seems making an appointment was a waste of my time and it shouldnt take 2.5 hours to do an oil change and mount four tires.
I was put into the system at 1 PM. I did not have an appointment I did not get out of there until 4:30 PM. All was all that was needed to be do I was put into the system at 1 PM. Dunn Tire has to figure out a better system to get customers in or out whether they have an appointment or not. That was unacceptable for me to sit there for 3 1/2 hours just to get two tires changed. I would never go to that location again!!!
Took my car in to get inspected said it needed brakes as well as some brake parts were broken and failed it. Took it to another mechanic the same day told me the brakes pass inspection. They were low but its still passed inspection. Dunn Tire quoted me $300 per axle for brakes this guy did it for 225 all the way around. They pulled the same thing only took my daughters car in 3 months prior to this. Told us it failed inspection because of a part under the car. Took it to another mechanic they passed the inspection and said that what they failed it for wasnt even part of the inspection and had nothing to do with passing or failing.
2nd time in a row I felt I was bait and switched here. 1st was tires for my girlfriend. Got quoted a price and then when I brought the car in for service they said the wrong ones were ordered and they correct ones were 40% higher. Fine okay it happens, no big deal. Then recently I went to get snow tires for my own car (I had bought tires from them a year prior and had them installed on my car at the same location) so they shouldve had my tire size in the system. Quoted a price for tires, install and storage. Great. Go to bring the car in and they again ordered the wrong size and tell me the correct size is $40 per tire higher. Extremely frustrating because I do like the tires I have on my car now but its extremely frustrating dealing with wrong sizes being ordered
Came in just to get my sunroof looked at because it was leaking, decided to get an oil change too while it was there. Was told by THREE SEPARATE people that they could have a look and help me out. I come to pick up my car and all of a sudden it’s “we don’t deal with sunroofs” “I can refer you to someone else”. Refused to even take one peak at it. Complete waste of time and money. Talked to several friends about my experience here and it turns out they’ve been ripped off by them in the past. This will be my first and last time here.
Had to wait 4 hrs. I didnt mind, because I am by myself and have noone to help me, so I had no choice. Because I am disabled, I cannot walk long distances, or stand for long periods of time. They could have parked my vehicle closer to the door for me.Also, my tires are not the same psi (I think its called that). I checked the picture on the dash which shows the tire pressure when I returned home a few hours later after my tire change. The tires were still at different pressure readings. The manager inside had told me before leaving that my car was equipped with the reading of tire pressure and it will adjust, but as stated above, 2 hours later, all the tires showed different pressure still.And not only that, when you have done to your vehicle most services offered there, including all your tires purchased and changed each season, a customer shouldnt have to wait 4 hours.Also, a customer was standing outside when I came out and said they lost his key. I was on my way back in about the tire pressure. When I came out the gentleman was still out there. I said, what did they say. He said they were going to be closing so they will look for it tomorrow morning when they open. Customer told me it had all the buttons on it, for the security alarm , etc.Dont you think your employees should have searched for that key right then and there, with the customer inside waiting and the doors locked for closing.What is happening to businesses in this country. Do we not care anymore about the customer. (It too bad we lost your key, were closing and will look tomorrow morning for it.) I hope this company will pay for a new key, fob, whatever was lost of that customer.I was a bit disgusted. Will not return to that location. I feel most people, whether young or old, but especially the younger generation, have an I could care less attitude these days. Just hand me a paycheck, without working hard for it.Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Slowest service I have ever seen in my life. 1 hour 45 mins for 4 tires. Chris baited on the pricing gave 1 price over the phone and added stuff on when I got there. Out the door pricing has hidden fees so beware. I will certainly think twice before going here for anything else.
I went in to have a single tire replaced. Immediately I get well we need to replace 2 tires because blah, blah, blah..... After agreeing to their suggestions they proceeded to lose my paperwork, and confuse my order. 3 days later I get a call telling me my car was ready. I go to pick up my vehicle only to discover that they did not replace the 2 tires, but attached my spare instead. When I approached the manager with my complaint he seemed annoyed and disinterested. I ended up waiting another day for the car to be fixed and I was never even offered an apology. This place has gone way down hill. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I suggest you do too
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car shop. I had scheduled an appointment for 11am for them to put my winter tires on. I arrived at 10:50am to drop it off, asked how long and they said about an hour, so I went to grab some lunch. Came back at 12:30pm and they still hadn’t even taken my car back yet! The car didn’t end being ready until 2pm! What’s the point of appointment times if you ignore it? Plus, when it was finally ready, they broke my drivers windshield wiper off during their “inspection.” Sounds like a scammy cash grab to me, since I didn’t asked for them to do anything but change my tires. I will never be back, and would give it a 0 star rating if I could.
Needed an inspection - Your staff said I needed new front and back brakes. Though they are only a year old. I asked how much and was quoted $650. I said no. Took car two hours later to another place and they said the brakes are perfectly fine - just need wipers. $57.Shameful and I will be contacting the BBB. DUNN DEAL.
The staff here is great! Made an appointment a couple days in advance, came in and was helped right away. The person who helped me was great. Very helpful and informative. My repair wasn’t a big one, but it was completed within an hour. When I got back, I was given a full explanation of what was done and found. Good experience all around, I’ll go back.
Dropped of my car at 8am and never received a call or email from them saying my car was done. Called to see if my car was done around 5 and after waiting in hold for 20 minutes, they told me my car was done at 10am. Found everything in my car moved, seats, mirrors, steering wheel, things in the glove box and automatic lights were switched off. 1 star because this isnt the first time this has happened. Never coming here again. Worst Dunn tire in Western New York.
Unethical. A friend took their car in for its annual inspection. Dunn Tire said that it would not pass inspection due to the front brakes having uneven pad wear and rotor rust grooves. The required brake work to pass inspection was over $300. Suspicious of the findings, they left. I looked over their brakes and found they were in good condition: even pad wear and approximately 50% material, and the rotors did not have grooves or unusual wear/rust. We took the car to a mechanic I trust: he agreed with my findings, passed the inspection and suggested I file a complaint; I have.
Went in for a slow-leaking tire (front left) on Day 1. They replaced my sensor in the wheel and sent me home. Day 2, sensor came back on so i went back to find out why. The recalibrated my display settings and checked all my pressures again. This time, a different tire (right rear)was low in air and lost 20psi in 24 hours. Again they sent me home. Day 3, I returned because my pressure lights were on again. Apparently now, my RR has a burst sidewall and cant be fixed. I must have hit a pothole on Day 1 after I left Dunn. Now Im told that because i have all-wheel-drive, i HAVE TO replace all 4 tires because they HAVE to all be identical.
Would give negative stars if possible.. scheduled an appointment for 4 o clock was told half hour to 45 mins..an hour goes by and they didnt even get the car in the garage until 515 after i had to ask them whats going. Im told they are sorry but when you go to the doctors office do you get to go in right away i said no but you usually.dont have tl wait an hour he tells me they quadrouple booked people for the day...why make apts if your going to waste peoples time an apology bw is not followed with an excuse accept.reaponaibility i also should have known better when i walked i an elderly women with a bmw just received the same treatment of blantant lying to. You guys did great. Last visit for vibration, front pass.tire replaced under road hazard coverage. Pothole that destroyed tire also dented aluminum rim... Wish I had aluminum rim hazard coverage... Very happy with tires & service. Roads bad enough to damage cars, makes good service and support even more important...

They help with picking a strong choice without always recommending the most expensive. There is a great warranty for service posted on the wall. He spent all the time i needed to choose the tires I wanted. The prices were good and the service was fast.

2022-01-14Super fast and very friendly service. Turns out I had a screw in my tire, on Tuesday I made an appointment for Thursday at 4:00 (the soonest they could get me in). I dropped the car off on Wednesday and first thing Thursday morning I got a message that the car was ready.Hopefully I wont be in need of tire repair, but if I am, Ill go back.

I appreciate that I wasn’t pushed into any purchases or services as so often happens. This was my 1st time at Dunn & yes, I will return to buy my new tires when I actually need them.

2022-01-19I needed some tires before a snow storm and at no fault to the employees there it turned Into me needing to come in on multiple days to get things taken care of. While I was there the Manager, even the guy at the counter and a tire guy was very nice, very knowledgeable, I had a complex issue and the manager helped me and really turned it into a stress free situation. I appreciate it.

2022-06-16When I scheduled my car for repairs I had a long list of tasks to be done. Unfortunately the mechanics ran into some snags and it delayed the completion of repairs. I had to come back the next day at 2pm, only to wait an additional 2 hrs. Before the car was done. I was grateful for the a/c and despite having to wait for repairs to be done, the staff was nice and were making every effort to get the car off the lift and send me on my way. Its a busy location, seems like many people need thier services. Even though I had to wait for hours, I would still go back there for service. They are diligent workers and reliable.

2022-03-01Never seem to have a good experience. Went in due to tire going flat. After an hour I asked about status and he told me a few more minutes. Come to find out he was looking at wrong car. Then came and said tire was shot. So what took an hour to figure that out? They basically just forgot I was there. Very poor customer service.
