The Buffalo Road Dunn Tire location is my first choice for anything related to my car. They do tire work, which for me recently was tire inflation during cold periods. However, I learned from them yesterday that it was due to a bad valve stem. This saved me from paying for a lot of work. Because I am a regular customer, the work was done quickly and at a very reasonable cost. I trust Scott and his group for all my car maintenance!
I needed an alignment check and I mistakenly made the appointment with the Webster store.Scott got me in right away without an appointment and the alignment was done all in an hour. More than pleased with the service at the Gates store.
Went in for 2 new tires on Saturday 11/28. Made the appointment early Saturday morning in person and specifically told them the tires were to go on the front. Watching the work through the shop window saw that my rear tires were off and asked why. Was told new tires always go on the back axle, I once again explained that I wanted my new tires on the front. Paid the bill and drove home in the dark. Lo and behold Sunday morning I checked and they put the new tires on the back. Called to ask them to fix the tires and they refused saying they legally couldnt do it. Called a different location and they are going to fix the issue. I guess because I am a woman my opinion about MY OWN car doesnt count.
Excellent service. I had Scott order 4 specific tires for our car. Tires came in in 2 days and had the appointment set up for the same week for install.I waited for them to be mounted and balanced. Was out of there in 1 hr!I always go to the Gates Dunn tire. Satisfied customer.
Was supposed to have new tires put on the front of my vehicle as they were worse in tread than the rear tires. I told them multiple times front tires, and they put the new tires in the rear leaving me with an incorrect job, and took my better tires so now I switched them back out, but still have worse off tires in the back
I had randomly noticed at work that I had a flat tire. The Gates location was the closest to work. Trying not to panic, I walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly face from a man up front. He later said he was one of the Managers. I asked if someone could put air in and he had me drive around to the back. Him and another employee (also super friendly) determined I needed to get the tire replaced. They both reassured me everything will be fine. The Manager quickly called another location and set up the tire replacement for the next morning. There was also another gentleman that sat at the computer by the door that was also friendly and helpful. Very quick and easy process. All staff were extremely friendly. Definitely a location I would come back to!
I had an appointment for 9 am which was made 2 days prior by phone. I informed the staff on the phone that i would wait for the vehicle as I did not have any other transportation. When I arrived for my appointment the store didn’t have my tires and informed me that I didn’t have a 9 o’clock appointment but they would try and fit me in. So I could drop the car off and they’d let me know if/when tires came in. I informed the staff that i had no other vehicle and that i could not leave it, he shrugged his shoulders and stated that was my option. At noon I was told my tires were there and I stated I would be there in 15 minutes. I was told nope. I had to drop the car off as they were working on a car they had scheduled for 5pm. I asked why if I had a 9 am appointment would they be taking the 5pm appointment at noon and not try to get me in. He said I wasn’t on the schedule!! Again, not my fault for their staff deficiencies. I again informed them I couldn’t just drop it off because I had no other transportation. So they said I could come at 5 or reschedule. The vehicle had a slow leak on 1 tire and had a donut on another. The staff made no attempt to try and get my vehicle in as scheduled and made no effort at their customer service to make the situation right. A 9am appointment was finally completed at 6:15 pm. Price for the product was ok. No huge savings as it was claimed to be. Definitely hard pressed to go back to this location. The staff was also making snide remarks to customers on the phone and when they hung up we’re definitely making inappropriate comments about their customers and their situations.
Tires weren’t there for appointment. Also staff was too busy. Car was ready ; but it took 20 minutes to checkout.
The Gates Dunn tire, excellent service, stopped in for a last min plug tire, I thought. Ended up with 4 new tires at a reasonable price. I was not caught off guard they were ready to be changed. I was just putting it off. They got me in with no appt. pleased with the customer service i received. Would recommend them and will go back.Thank youJennifer Everett

The staff at the shop today were incredibly polite, helpful, and speedy! I had a nail in my tire about an hour away from home, and they made sure I was fixed up safely to make it back. They put my mind at ease and had me on way quickly. What a great experience!

Too busy to take care of me. Just left and the guy at the counter said he was the only one there and if he could take my number and call me, I walked in. Im sure there are many places that would treat walk ins better. I know what I want and just wanted to ask some questions about the tires I was thinking about. The company I work for and the company next door recommends them highly, mainly because they are practically next door to where we work. Well, the could have easily made me another satisfied customer but when then say they dont have time to help you, that means they really dont want your business. I told him, thats ok, I will find another place that is available. I think there are many options out there.

Scott was great. I bought new tire pressure sensors for my car my dash warning light still didnt go off. Scott was able to get me in very quickly and fix my problem within 5 minutes. Thank you very much Scott, youre a great employee.

I have been getting my Tire Service from Dunn for 35 Years or more, And I always get Great Service. Plus, I have Never had a tire leak afterwards even when switching snow tires on both cars twice a year...They have been very good with their Guarantee about if you dont like their recommended ones, Then they will replace them with something else until you are satisfied.This comes in Handy because most tires act differently on some cars, Depending on the construction of the car. I.E. (Vibration/Noise ETC )I will not change things, Cause If it Isnt Broke, Then dont Fix It !!!!Another Note: Dont Raise your voice and Scream at Servicers. the Moment you Raise your Voice, Then you have Lost the Argument to begin with.
I called Dunn Tire because I found a screw in my tire and they got me in almost immediately. The customer service was great, and they even took care of my inspection while they had my vehicle for the tire repair! I couldnt be happier with the experience, and I will definitely be going back.

Employees are always kind and the wait is short. The facility is convenient for the inspection of my pop up camper as far as room to maneuver. They originally showed me the correct way to have the camper hooked up to my vehicle as far as the safety chains are concerned. Very satisfied.

I went to Dunn tire and Shaun was excellent to work with! He had about 7 customers in the store and he was the only one working the desk. He was skilled at handling each and every customer with kindness and accommodate everyone of us! He “squeezed” me in the same day my tires arrived! He had such a calming voice and so cheerful! Great staff working at this Dunn Tire. Been a long time customer. This time coming to Dunn. I wanted to get the same tire that was on the car. They searched and found them. They found the best way to get them shipped to the store without any extra cost to me. When scheduling my appointment I need the car done at a certain time. They were done on time like always. Great service once again.

Current crew is very professional, courteous and motivated.I usually wait , its about an hour for most of the services like NY state inspections and oil changes. There is a diner next door which makes things even more convenient. Keep up the good work!
I just wanted to say these people are genuine. I know its hard to find a mechanic you can trust but I honestly trust these guys every time. On a previous occasion I had to leave my car with a flat there and I told them to patch it if they could or change the tire if it wasnt possible. I didnt have cell phone service so I told them to do whatever they found was necessary. They couldve taken advantage and charged for a new tired but they patched it up and fixed it for meOn this most recent occasion I went in for new tires and unfortunately they had to let me know many things were wrong with my car to the point where I shouldnt be driving it anymore. I think a lot of other mechanics wouldve taken this as an opportunity to get me to pay for more services but they told me straight out that this was not worth the headache and to not waste money with this car.I will always be trusting them with my car, thank you guys for some amazing service

I have been a Dunn Tire customer for at least 25 years or more. I have been to several around town. After doing so, I have learned that Gates is the only one I want to go to, no matter where I live in or around the city. Always clean (including the bathroom), the staff is honest, kind and polite. On this visit, they had to deliver bad news, but they did so empathetically, giving me the option to cancel some of the other work I’d asked for before doing it, since it was pointless to proceed. They have gone to great lengths in the past to get me what I need within my price range. I trust them, and that means everything to me in a car repair and inspection business.
Scott and Paul gave us an awesome deal on tires, and managed ro fit us in within hours on a day where they were short-staffed. Very grateful for the fantastic service!
Amazing service and quick too. Went in thinking I was going to have to replace my tires but Pete said he could just repair the hole. Couldve ripped me off but saved me a lot of money instead. Going back to get my brakes done next.
I go in for a seasonal tire change every year for the last 3 years. Last year I went in a little later in the year and at that time it was fairly busy so I had to wait quite a bit longer even with an appointment. This year was quick in and out. Quality of work has always been good. Wheels were properly balanced with good quality weights that dont fall off not having to ever go back to get rebalancing done. Customer service has gotten better with the change of management although at times I have observed the manager subtly undermining his employees. Overall its a good place to take your vehicle to get tires and other minor with done.
Very professional staff that will take care and tend carefully to your car needs. We have got our cars wheel balanced and aligned from there and will be taking another car there because we are fully satisfied.
Friendly, professional service. 👍11/19/21 - I made the appointment ahead of time for a free tire rotation and NYS inspection. When I got there, they were swamped, and told me the wait may be long. You could tell they were somewhat stressed from the workload as winter gets closer, but they stayed friendly and professional, and I was out in about an hour. Good group of guys at Gates Dunn Tire. 👍

The technicians at Dunn Tire were very friendly, honest and efficient. I was there for a leaking tire and while i was there getting it repaired, they didnt try to sell me on ANYTHING. They fixed my tire, which was way cheaper than I expected and didnt once try to upsell me. It took less than an hour to find and fix the issue. Thank you for a very stress free experience. I’m from PA. My tire light came on as I was driving to Rochester. The guys at Dunn Tire took me right away, checked out my car and had me on my way I. Less than an hour, without an appointment.
Brought my car in on a saturday after getting screwed by another shop. Thought i needed a new tire. Even though they where incredibly busy they found time to bring my car in and instead of having to replace my tire they saw my rim was rusted after a removal and cleanup it was all good! They didnt even charge me. The other place didnt even look at the tire just told me i needed a new one and that because of its size would be hard to get so they would need to charge extra then told me they couldnt do the job til tuesday. I know my where my next tires will be replaced . Lost a customer (mavis)
Update: After speaker with Mike, the regional sales manager, he has been great to work with in resolving my previous issues.DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE NICE WHEELS!! I have numerous scratches on multiple wheels and a large chip on one wheel after getting my tires changed. Upon admitting fault, their only excuse is that its a part of doing business and no one will see it. BEWARE! Before considering this location, make sure you have the additional $500 to get your wheels repaired right after.

Great Customer Service. They were super easy going and patient with me, I thought I only needed to replace one tire but with my luck being the way it is I had to replace all four. The first time I called and arranged an appointment for 9am on a Monday morning I expected to stay with my car, as I knew all my car needed was a patch repair for the passenger side rear tire which had a slow leak. I was asked if I was going to leave the car for the day which I immediately responded with no and I asked why leave it for a tire patch. the manager responded with customers do that all the time. after that I proceeded to ask him about an appointment later on for the next week and he proceeded to give me an appointment on the following Monday at 5 pm. I called the manager upset and wanted an explanation , and he did give the explanation that when they are busy beyond capacity they get the customers to leave their cars all the time. Well this past Monday I was greeted well by Peter R and was treated very well from the beginning to end of the service provided as I got my tire repaired in less than a half an hour. Peter R is the consumate professional and has the utmost moral business priorities as he came in and wanted to know why my name was on the VIP listed by the manager. and after listening to my initial experience with Dunn tire , he didnt charge me for the services he provided me on my tire leak fix. It is with my recommendation that Peter R be given a management position or merit raise for his outstanding customer service and dedication to represent Dunn tire in the best ways possible for future customers.

Went to Dunn Tire after waking up to a flat. A neighbor used his compressor and I made it to Dunn losing air fast.They squeezed me in and also wouldnt let me help remove items to get to spare.My husband is new to using a wheel chair and stayed in r vehicle till time to replace the tire. They went out of their way (Pete )to include him in the conversation regarding best plan for us and r finances.We were given the gift of 4 new tires anywhere we wanted by a family member.We chose to go back to Dunn Tire Buffalo rd .Going tmrrow ! Also they charged us nothing to change my flat.Thank You to the Dunn Tire employees !

I’ll only use Dunn. Their service is amazing and at an excellent/competitive cost. I had a nail in my tire. They squeezed me in within the hour and had it plugged 35 minutes later. We also have bought our winter tires from them before. They were the best priced option by far and again the service was excellent.
Dunn has taking another step to make more money off unsuspecting customers. I just bought 2 new tires from them last year. I went in to get 2 more new tires today. Now they have made up a policy that all your tires has to be the same brand on a 4 wheel drive vehicle. I repeat the same brand. This is not a law. This is not the vehicle recommendation. Its a Dunn policy. Money scheme!
Nov 2021. Went to get winter tires installed and have car inspected. Shop was very busy, yet they managed to get me in in the time period they promised. Gave me good advise on a couple of additional maintenance items as well.There were several walk-ins and the phone rang numerous times. All seemed to be taken in stride and things just kept moving along and not one disgruntled word from even one customer. Left knowing i am lucky to have this shop so close to home.

If you’re looking for excellent customer service and friendly people, visit Dunn in Gates. Pete and Scott will take care of you and really know their stuff. It’s the reason I always go here for tires. I was at another local complete auto care place and asked them about tires. The guy pretended to know a lot about tires but clearly knew nothing. I then called Scott and he walked me through several options, asked a lot of questions of how I use my vehicle, and helped me pick the best tire for me. There was zero pressure.On top of that is the Dunn dozen, things included that you have to pay extra for at other places.This may not be the cleanest, most modern place. It’s simple, and they get the job done right.

I came into this Dunn Tire location because I recently got my tires changed at a location In Buffalo, NY. I called this location and Pete, the most helpful worker ever assured me that I can bring my vehicle in at this location without a problem. Pete was very helpful, polite, and friendly. He fixed the issue with my tire sensors within minutes.

I went there to get 4 new tires on my truck. And with that you are supposed to get a free alignment check. When I was checking out. They did the alignment and didnt even show me what was out of alignment. I wanted to wait on the alignment due to monetary convenience and was waiting on a $20 coupon for signing up with the Dunn Tire program. Also stated that I need a new battery and a new wheel bearing. Showed me the estimates I declined. They stated they will put that in with my paperwork. When I got home to look for that paperwork none of the alignment paperwork or the additional things I might need wasnt part of the paperwork. Ive been going here for years and typically I would give them 4 or 5 stars all the time. But this was not a good experience and will be looking to take my truck elsewhere.

My car had a problem and needed a repair. I called Dunn Tires - Buffalo Road and chatted with Scott and Pete. These gentlemen were very friendly and helpful. The problem was fixed with one visit and with a very reasonable cost - much lower than dealers cost. I will use this shop again for maintenance and repairs of my cars.
Wonderful experience. Used the webchat feature to book an appointment to fix a tire with a slow leak. It was quick and easy.When I arrived for my appointment, the desk attendant, Josh, was friendly and welcoming. He was upfront about the pricing, which was cheaper than I expected. The whole service took less than 40 minutes with no hiccups.My only complaint would be that the waiting room had the aesthetics of a 90s doctors office, but thats a really stupid thing to complain about, no?Finally, double props to Josh and the service philosophy of this place in general. While I was waiting, I overheard him patiently and effectively walk an older lady through signing up for their rewards program. I also heard him explain to a customer through the phone why his car failed inspection, what needed to be done to pass, how much it would cost for Dunn to fix it and how much it would cost for the customer to do it himself. He never aggressively pushed to have Dunn perform the service. Its a situation that can quickly turn sour but he handled it masterfully. Truly impressive.

We were in a huge pinch to get tires and Scott took us in and got them done as fast as humanly possible. I can’t say enough good about his customer service. Fair and honest!I will be a repeat customer I highly recommend going there for your truck needs

I have been going to Dunn for over a decade. I choose them because they can do everything with tires plus general repairs. Pete and Scott are great to deal with and always makes me feel secure with what is being done to my car!
I suddenly realized that my tire treads were very low. (Had not been driving much since COVID started.) Dunn Tire (Gates) was able to take care of me the same day I called. I very much appreciate the quick service as I was driving to Syracuse the next day and there was a chance of heavy thunderstorms.

I was off to a fairly decent Friday until I blew a tire on the way to a meeting and another tire was fading fast. Knowing that my best bet was to put on a new full set of tires, I got into the Gates Dunn Tire and I wasnt expecting any miracles as I had no appointment. They had a busy day a head of them and said they have to squeeze it in as they could. I walked around town a bit to waste some time and to my surprise my truck was in the shop upon my return. They had me out of there within 2 hours. The guys in the shop were friendly, professional and informative. I always buy my tires at Dunn so the road hazard saved me a little bit of cash on the new set and as an unexpected bonus I received 10% off the set because the Bills won their game that week.
The guys at DUNN Tire were very courteous and friendly from the moment I walked in and they asked how they could help me. They were genuinely interested in making sure I got what I needed and within a short time I was back on the road with a new tire. During this nasty Northeastern winter, it’s good to know that I can rely on DUNN when I get an unexpected flat tire.

With what you get for the price of the tires I don’t go anywhere else. I compared prices to other places and the big box stores and they are competitive.
Came in with a tire that keep loosing air. They couldn’t fix it. Got a new tire for difference in price from last year which was only $30. So that was awesome.

When i arrived there had been a mistake on the day of my appointment. I showed them where I had booked the appointment and they still took my car. It was almost 6pm before my car was done when I had a 9am appointment. Then on top of it all they damaged my alloy wheel! Definitely not what I expected for the cost!
I only use Dun Tire for my tire needs. They are the best. They take care of you when you buy your tires and after. I can pull my car into the bay anytime to have air put into my tires and I never get out of the car.
It seems like the Gates location can not balance tires since I had my summer tires mounted and balanced before winter on my summer rims. I had them on my truck for a few weeks before I put my winter tires and rims on which I also had issues with at the Gates location but that is another story. I noticed there was a vibration in the summer tires and rims before I put my winter tires and rims on. I told Dunn about the vibration and they said they would check it but I decided to wait until after winter. Well I recently took my snow tires and rims off and put my summer tires and rims on and the vibration was still there so I made an appointment and brought it back. Dunn rebalanced just the front tires and rims and both tires were off by 4.5 to 5 ounces and I was charged the for balance again which blew my mind since Dunn just balanced my summer tires and rims before winter so why was I charged for balancing again. Besides being charged for something I was already charged for once it would appear to me that the balancing must have been done wrong in the first place if both the tires they checked were off . I understand that wheel weights can come off but to come off of both tires seems odd. I have had to go back to Dunn Tire in Gates multiple times now and it seems like the job can never be done right the first time and now I am getting charged for their mistakes.The store manager I got when I had issues with my winter tires and rims was great and he apologized for the issues and did his best to fix my problem but depending on who you get at the front desk makes a big difference when it comes to customer service.

Scott is a great guy! Explained to him that I didnt need my spare set of wheels on the car, so when my tires came in, I dropped off the wheels and left. Came back later in the same day to pick up the wheels wrapped in the new tires. Quick and easy. Ill definitely be coming back.

Pete was able to squeeze me in at a last minutes notice after Mavis in Chili screwed me over. Pete took the time to rearrange his day to get the 4 tires on my Durango before my wife headed out of town. The guys there are really nice. While I was there I got to view the professionalism from Pete the manager and how he interacted with customers both in person and on the phone. This guy is an Allstar and should be the training model for all Dunn Tire Managers.
The team at DUNN/Gates, NY was professional, responsive, involved in #SlowtheSpread, taking good care of its clients. I had all 4 tires replaced in short order after they set up an appointment in such a way that there were hardly any others in the waiting room - where there was adequate spacing and provisions to prevent exposure or transmission of any germ. I called to receive a quote for a tire due to having a flat at work. Jeffery asked me what I wa as looking to spend rather than trying to sell me the most expensive option. He also got me in without having an appointment and told me that it was because he did not want to leave me stranded in the cold. Ive been a loyal customer for years - originally, because the location was right on my way home, plus I found that Dunn has the best prices for quality tires. Over the years, I have learned that Dunn stands by their products and takes care of their Customers, but last night they exceeded my expectations. On the way home I hit a wicked bad pot hole (thanks NYS DOT). I blew out my tire and was stranded by the side of the road. Thankfully, Dunn Tire was right around the corner. Of course it was almost closing time, but instead of turning me away, Scott went above and beyond to get my tire fixed and get me home. While I was there, another lady came in 3 minutes before closing with a flat. She wasnt a Dunn Customer, but instead of turning her away, they put her spare on for her. This is the type of service that Dunn gives all people, even if they arent their customers. Its nice to know that I can count on them being there during times like this. Good prices, but extremely rude service often. Also, they dont always handle your vehicle with care. Overall, Ive been disappointed.Updated- originally I had given them 2 stars because of their pricing. I kept coming back to them because of their free tire rotations when you buy their tires. But after having poor experiences with their service over and over again, Im debating not even coming back for the free rotations and paying to have them done somewhere else. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to based on the awful experiences Ive had here. I would not recommend this location, I cant speak to the others.
After having problems with mavis not doing the service I payed for ( alignment....and now my brand new tires are shot ) they took care of my alignment issue and the service was great. My new go to for service.

My experience was excellent.The person at the desk was friendly and greeted me by my name. This was not lost by me.I have been to Dorschel for work. Where is your fireplace and full food bar and WiFi station. Ha ha ha ha. Ha. But your chairs were comfortable and my bill was decent. Unlike Dorschel. I plan to come back and use Dunn tire when. The man at the main desk is not friendly. He makes you wait while he finishes his paperwork. Then he added some mysterious charge to the purchase of my tires. I like Dunn Tires. Do not recommend the one in Gates.
Aside from the scheduling fiasco causing me to reschedule my appointment for tire replacement and an inspection, the service was great. Pete handled the situation very professionally as it should of been. Will go back again and give it another chance.

After 1:45 hours they inform me that I need a different tire that costs $200 more. I tell them to put the old tires back in and it takes a hour?!?? Then they have tires that are the same price (actually less) and can have them on the next day?!?! Wow. I will NEVER go back to this place. They are scam artists.
I always obtain a few quotes before purchasing tires. Dunn Tire is consistently the best price. Their counter personnel are always courteous. This is true for multiple locations. I highly recommend.

Called this afternoon because my wifes tire was flat due to bad TPS valve/sensor (Saturday). Noticed two sensors were bad. Called dealership, no answer. Called Josh at Dunn Tire hoping for some immediate help. He said they were booked till Wednesday but to bring the car in and they would try their best to get the tires fixed. They were able to get it done in 1-2 hours. Also had bad parts waiting for me on my return to explain why they went bad and reason for 100% replacement instead of rebuild. I miss this kind of service. He was professional, courteous and anxious to do what he could to help. They have earned my business in the future for sure. I highly recommend Dunn Tire in Gates. I will also note that the new TPS sensors were apprx. 45% cheaper than the dealership. Turned a bad day into a good one!

Honestly I was suprised, Ive never been to this location and I was very disappointed in the service I received.I had to take my own tire off in the parking lot (3 people sat inside, no one offered to help)Then I was quoted a time Id have to wait and it was exceeded. Then they told me they couldnt do my free rotation because they had other customers waiting.Lastly I had to show them how to access my spare. Of your going to Dunn Id suggest a different location.

I was driving along started losing air pressure in my tire early morning nothings open also between home and my destination to far from home to turn around not knowing anything about tired how to change one none of that .panick set n so I call my daughter she says mom hold on ok dunn tire is up the road go slow and keep goin.i pull in and theres a very friendly gentleman says cn I help I told him wat happen and n so many words he says no worries well see wat we cn do he gets the car and comes back unfortunately the tire cnt b plugged on top of that you hv no spare your car doesnt come with one ok tears start well up in my eyes he says in other words no worries this gentleman who doesnt know me from dirt long story short put a tire on that had some tread to get me home and safe and didnt charge me for that genuine act of kindness and concern for my well being(mind you hd no money)I will never forget dunn tire and most of all the gentleman who helped me and the staff that made it possible . Service was adequate. I was quoted a price $100 less than what the bill ended up being, simply because the manager didnt correctly look up the vehicle history. Buyer beware!
I rarely rate places, but these guys deserve it. I was essentially a walk in with a flat on a LOADED tandem-dually gooseneck. They had me back on the road in under an hour, fully aired up and safe to haul. I would recommend them to anyone for anything. They all worked together to help me out amongst the other customers. Everyone was working, helping each other finish all the different work going on. It was truly an impressive sight in a larger shop, as no one was undercut or discounted.PLUS, the price was incredibly reasonable!Thanks again, guys!

From the day I called to inquire about pricing for snow tires, rims and TPMS to the day my new tires were installed I had courteous no pressure sales people. My tires were available within 2 days and installed on Christmas Eve! At checkout I had a deal from RARES and the gentleman let me know there was a better deal with Bridgestone that he could apply and a further Visa prepaid $50 from Bridgestone that I could go online and receive! Every penny saved is so appreciated! Great service!! And I left feeling Dunn will be there when I need them.

After a two weeks run around with a different tire store, i contacted dunn and was in and out in under two hours for less than the other place.
Second time coming here with a tire issue and it was fixed promptly. Josh and the other representative that helped me took time to answer my questions and were very professional and courteous! Would recommend!
Cant say enough good things about Dunne. Honest, fast, friendly, prices on par with the rest, but the service is well beyond. Best thing is that not once (in over 10 years) did they ever try to up-sell me any crap i didnt need).

2022-01-28Been going to Dunn tire for a decade almost exclusively, but the people at the buffalo road location have been great as long as Ive been going there, five years or so. Everyone Ive interacted with has been knowledgeable, able to help me decide what my best overall choice for tires is between cost and performance, they always call me when the work is done, and they are very reasonable when it comes to prices. I drive a lot, and I tend to get tire punctures once a year or so, and they seem to always be able to sneak the car in to patch the tire. They wouldnt do that if they didnt care at all. My wife got a flat the day that we had to get to a wedding, and my car was in the shop for work, and they were booked solid and had people out sick. They said they couldnt promise anything but theyd try. It was done in an hour. Cant say enough about them.

2022-02-04Just got a couple tires for my 2007 Honda Accord before the snowstorm. My front tires were almost bald, and I didn’t want to be a sitting duck at the slightest amount of snow. I told them what tires I had on the car, and he informed me that those were the wrong size for my car. Being a retired tire tech myself, I told him my rear tires were ok, but he was thorough and went out and measured them himself, to make sure. I told him what brand I wanted, and he said they aren’t available right now, and advised me an equivalent tire in my price range. I set up an appointment for the next Monday. I arrived, he took my information, went out and got my car info, they took my car back, and they were done in the quoted 1 hour time frame. I used to bring my Dakota to them, so I am a happy returning customer. They are efficient, honest, and not pushy. If you know what you want, what your price range is, they will help you out. The tires helped immensely today when I had to drive home from Greece after it had been snowing for several hours.

2022-04-30I have changed my seasonal tires here for years and will never go back after my most recent experience. Dunn tire refused to put my tires on claiming that two were too worn, due to wear on the edges and wanted me to purchase 4 new tires due to my vehicle being all wheel drive. After refusing and looking at my tires (which yes were slightly worn, but definitely good enough to get through until I would put my snow tires back on around October). I felt pressured into spending money (and wasting tires!) when it was unneeded. I inconveniently had to pick my vehicle up with no work done and brought it to maxis discount tire, showed them the tires and they 100% said the tires were good enough to place back on. So be weary of their recommendations and get a second opinion if you feel pressured into new tires. They almost got me!

2022-04-21I was in a bind with a slow leak and unplanned trip out of town. Called in the am and they squeezed me in. Unable to repair it due to where the rusty nail was, they popped a new tire on it and I was good to go in a few hours. Polite and professional staff, of course, but also friendly. First time at this Dunn Tire location, I will be back for sure, I am sure.

2022-01-08I have updated my review and added another star due to the prompt handling of my dissatisfaction by the store owner. I received an emailed apology shortly after posting my review and was promptly reimbursed for the lug nut charges. My original review is below.Overall, the experience was good with the exception of the $86 surprise that I got when it was time to pay the bill. The technician told me that they had replaced all 20 of my lug nuts at $4 each. I was told that the nuts had an aluminum outer shell that had deformed, making it difficult to properly tighten them. I might have been ok with this if they had informed me of it before presenting the bill rather than after. I dont like being backed into a corner.They also never seem to have the tires on-hand that I select online. I had selected a tire with 55k mile mileage warranty and they ended up exchanging it with a tire that had 45k warranty.
