2021-12-18How he hasn’t had his license revoked is a true mystery. I had 2 appointments with him. Beyond rude, nasty and unprofessional, he skirts legality and has severely questionable medical ethics. He decided not to give me my lab results (which my insurance paid for in full) and went into a toddlers temper tantrum as some kind of punishment/ reaction to me asking him a basic question about my thyroid treatment. I wish I filmed it.The licensing board is reviewing.

2016-10-03His office is usually empty and now I understand why. He lacked knowledge when it came to my anemia. He told me I was fine but thank God I visited another doctor who realized my blood count was problematically low, and was able to get that corrected. He doesnt seem to be a big fan of African Americans. Upon entering his office his attitude towards me was one that made me feel unwelcomed. Then he asked if I had another doctor already and that it was best that I stayed with that doctor. Like I stated at the beginning, his office is usually empty and I totally get why. Visit this doctor at your own health risk.

2017-07-08I wouldnt even give him one star but had to to give a review. Worse doctor I have ever met. I knew there was something odd with him when he told me his patients would sometimes ask too much of him and he would declined his services. However I was over joyed when he made a house call. I tried to overlook his eccentric behavior. I was referred to him by Southside Hospital. What a joke!! I called the person back and told her to never refer him to another human being. He couldnt take my 92 year old mothers blood pressure. He said he couldnt find her pulse. Thats funny..the nurses in the hospital could get a reading on her blood pressure. I made the mistake of asking him for a prescription for a wheel chair. He said he has never done one for a wheel chair and he didnt have his prescription pad. I asked him if he had the pad in his office that I could pick it up there. He complained that Medicare puts too much on the doctors. He became rude and said I dont think were going to get along Denise. DO YOU? I had to walk away ( for my mothers sake) before I lost my temper. We had talked about changing my mothers meds and he asked me if I wanted him to call in the prescriptions. I said YES. He calls me five minutes later stating that my mothers case was too complicated and that she should go and see her previous PCP and CARDIOLOGIST. HE knew that that was impossible as she is bed bound. I couldnt believe that I was speaking to a professional health care doctor. I was flabbergasted at his unprofessional behavior. DONT GO SEE THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR. HE IS YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!!!!

2019-08-13Wish there were 0 stars! Dr Dunphry is rude, very unprofessional, and just plain nasty! My husband WAS a patient for years, and put up with his childish behavior. He stayed with him because it was convenient and quick. He is done with him now. He doesnt care about his patients, he just wants his money. Stay AWAY from this doctor if you want a dr that is personable and caring. He could care less if you come back to him or not.

2019-09-11Of all the doctors Ive ever met Dr Dumpy has to be a patients worse nightmare.Rude, uncaring and totally worthless. I was referred to him by my insurance company after my doctor retired...and all it took was one visit to question him then a second visit to treat a sinus infection which he refused do anything about.Needless to say I got rid of him fast and I suggest everyone do the same before even wasting your time going to him.

2017-06-22He refused to treat me until he had lab work. Barely did an exam. Once my lab work came back showing multiple issues, he still refused to treat me. I will be reporting him to Medicaid for charging for services NOT rendered. Horrible. Horrible doc and horrible attitude.

2016-10-04Worst doctor ever!! Ive never seen any greedy person in medical field like him. He refused to see us when he found out that my insurance has no co-pay and a deductible that I havent met yet. I told him Ill pay the bill the same way Ive been paying for years and he can check the history. I kept on assuring him that im a responsible person and work in a healthcare myself. He still refused. Then i told him to write it down that he is refusing to see me due to this reason.And then the further worse thing happened. He came to my face and started screaming his throat out and then kept on saying, Ok ill see you, Ill see you, Ill see you which in the end he did.. I felt like im in a horror chamber.It made me feel sick to know what kind of people are now in medical field. I dont see a difference between a wall street bank chief executive and Dr. Dunphy.I would never recommend anyone going to him unless they have a huge pile of money or otherwise get ready to be treated like a thug and getting refused.

2019-12-13Does not even deserve one star. As a health care professional, I had a run in with him and he was absolutely the rudest person I think I have ever dealt with. On top of not giving a flip about his patient and making demeaning comments about my concern.

2017-06-27Been dealing w. him for 4 YEARS. NEVER WANTS TO GIVE MY MOTHER & I MUCH NEEDED REFERRALS. OR ITS TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE. Always offers blood work instead. DO NOT BOTHER

2019-06-13Went in for a referral, he walked out of room. I waited at the front desk and he finally popped out & said You can go! Wheres my referral? He said NO.....
