If youre looking for someone who is as cool as a cucumber under extreme stress, Dan, Amanda, and their entire team are the perfect fit. We just went through the housing transaction from he@$ and would not have closed had Dan not been so calm, thorough, and available 24/7 to fix every issue that came up. I contracted with Durante, Bock & Tota in July on a property for which I was appointed executor. I found this firm via Martindale Hubbell and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I chose them because Daniel Tota was rated with a strong legal ability and high ethical standard by the peer review rating and the firm was accredited by the BBB, A+ rated and had no complaints filed. I am more than quite pleased with the work they performed.My real estate closing was anything but atypical in that there was an improperly recorded Satisfaction of Mortgage by a bank which collapsed during the 2008 financial crisis. This error required meticulous research, contact with multiple banking institutions and eventual contact with the FDIC by Kevin Theofield to gain proof of this mortgage satisfaction and removal of the lien from the property.Things that stood out about this firm were the accessibility of the attorneys, their knowledge of Real Estate Law and especially Kevin Theofields diligence and commitment to getting the required paperwork in order in an expeditious manner for a timely closing.Michael W. 2021-04-15Dan is the best, hands down. He is highly personable and doubled in many ways as a marriage therapist. This is the second, well maybe third or fourth time, we are using his services to buy and sell property, depends how you count. Despite the insanity of Covid Dan kept everything on track.
