Great breakfast with great service. I got an omelette. My boyfriend ordered the blueberry pancakes. Im not a big pancake person (not a carb person in general) but the blueberry pancakes were absolutely amazing! I couldnt stop eating off his plate. They were even better with real maple syrup.
Great, great spot for breakfast! My family and I ate here twice while visiting Peek n Peak resort and loved it. Great food, reasonable prices and a friendly, welcoming staff. Great job cleaning and staff wears masks at all times (amid current pandemic in August 2020). Breakfasts made with fresh, homemade bread. Homemade cinnamon buns were delicious (and huge!). Looking forward to going back some time to try the homemade ice cream. Highly recommended if youre in the area!
Lovely place. We all did the buffet. The choices available were outstanding.Fresh fruit, puddings. Yogurt, eggs done many ways, huge omelets with fixings you choose, toast. French toast, bacon, potatoes so much to mention. Well worth the price. Servicer were very friendly. The store has many cute home goods.
Absolute best food ive had in years. Great diner experience. Phenomenal burger. Megan is an excellent server. Also, Im pretty confident that any negative reviews come from nasty hags that deserved the treatment they recieved or they are possibly competitors in the local area.
Good service but food doesnt seem to be as good as it use to be. Onion rings tasted fishy. You must use the same grease you fry the fish in. The chicken in my salad had no flavor and fries were cold. My 95 year old Father loves going there on Fridays but we may find another place. Also, prices are rather high.
Just ate at the Dutch Village Restaurant buffet tonight. The food was not good. It was not hot, there was very little taste or flavor, some of it seemed dry like it was leftover from another day, I used to like the ham gravy & mashed potatoes but tonight the gravy had no taste & potatoes were not all the way done. We each had a piece of pie & there was absolutely no bottom crusts on either piece. I gave it a1 star because the only thing I had good were the sweet potatoes. Not like it used to be several years ago!
Largest gluten free menu in the area! Excellent food and even better prices. The wait staff treats you like family Ive never had better service. Its the little things that really make a difference here like transfering the food from a hot plate to a cold plate when serving a small child. Those things show how much they care about their customers. My daughter gets ecstatic to see her favorite servers,
Went to pickup breakfast for ESMR my employer 30 some breakfast sandwiches and 2 orders of biscuits and grave this is the third Saturday last two payed cash bu this time no cash so I used my card total around $ 189.00 so I get the credit card slip and guess what a $27.00 tip to take out food that they just add on I think someone should tell you this is happening I caught on to this one I am pretty sure the waitress is not giving the cook his part even though he or she did all the work anyway someone owes ESMR $54.00 just keep your eyes open when paying your bill some people are not that honest maybe someone will open a honest restaurant in clymer soon
Serves Gluten Free food! Very safe when it comes to food allergies. Great staff, clean restaurant. Has that hometown feel. Only restaurant Ive seen that has a paging system for your server to bring you specific things, like you want a refill, push the refill button, want your check, push the check button! So awesome :)
Awesome place. I would have never guessed how large this restaurant was by looking at the outside. They have amazing food and very friendly staff. The prices are really nothing to complain about either. If I lived a little closer I would visit multiple times a week for sure!
This place is simply amazing. I want to point out quickly that they have a nice little gift shop that you should check out. The restaurant is the real star though. First of all, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly service. Also, the food is extremely cheap and they give you large portions. I have never been to a restaurant that gives you so much food at such a low price. You never feel ripped off when you eat here. In fact, youll probably feel like youre ripping them off. However, that would mean nothing if the food wasnt good, and boy, does this place deliver. I had their Build Your Own Burger Deal and had a delicious half pound bacon cheeseburger. It was HUGE! I have to say, that burger was the absolute BEST burger I have ever had the pleasure of eaten. And it was only a little under $7, just a little more expensive than a McDonalds Quarter Pounder. It was well worth it. For such a big burger that also happened to taste good, $7 dollars aint bad at all. All in all, this is a great hidden gem of a restaurant and it is New Yorks best unknown restaurant and one of the best restaurants period. I definitely will be eating there again.
Owner has a poor attitude toward customers, when the restaurant messes up food multiple times not just once. Told her that it has happened multiple times and we were upset about it and said “go somewhere else then,” with a real bad attitude. They have many waitress but can barely handle the restaurant. Very slow wait on food and drinks when barely busy.
If I could could give less than one star I would. The food was absolutely dreadful, we waited about 35 minutes for cold meatloaf and mash (which we over heard was frozen and not fresh as advertised).. the pot roast was awful, several pieces of meat with giant rotten potatoes and about 5 carrots all swimming in a pool of soup which was supposed to be gravy. The tuna melts were fried bread served again with cold over cooked sides. We went based on reviews ..... wish we hadn’t bothered. Don’t waste your time or money. Horrible!!
They have TO DIE FOR homemade baked breads and desserts! If you go for breakfast, get one of their Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls. They are made from scratch and are about the size of a mini bus! This place really has excellent homemade baked goods. Even their dumplings are fantastic!
Service w Reese was excellent however we were disappointed in the quality of the food ....in the past we have always been very pleased how ever hamburger was pathetically thin an low grade an the sub sandwhich was a italian an the roll was good but they uses only a few tiny sized slices of pepperoni an chipped ham ? An grated cheese ...never in my, life have i had chipped ham an grates cheese on a sub sandwhich ! ....an apparently due to slowness of the business lately no cream pies an very little selection:( .....really disappointed ! Although everyone has an off day an we will go try them again .thank you.
Homestyle, friendly good cooking. Popular in the surrounding area for their weekly specials and great atmosphere for community gathering. Gluten Free options delicious and nice to be able to have more than one choice. Staff knowledge about GF requirements, owner is a celiac from what we were told.
First and foremost, Id like to say that, as a rule, I like to try and find the upside to any establishment I dine at. With that said, the only good thing about my experience at this restaurant, was the people I was dining with. My family and I had been driving 7 hours and, based on the good reviews, we decided to stop here for a bite to eat.My dad had to remind the server 3 times, that he wanted a chocolate milk with his meal. Not a huge deal, but cmon. Also, it was lukewarm when he got it (gross!). The corned beef on his reuben quite was overcooked. My burger was merely flavorless, and tasted frozen. My little sisters salad was just lettuce and shredded carrots. Not to mention, the bread that came with it (covered in butter) was bigger than the salad itself. The entire meal was a complete disappointment! When the waitress asked us how our meal was, we didnt complain. We werent out to complain or cause a fuss- but we were clearly unhappy. Honestly, we knew we had another 7-hour drive ahead, and wanted to leave the experience behind. The only reason Im writing this review, is because we were really anticipating a great meal, and we received what could possibly be one of the worst meals weve ever had.I know we will never come here again, but maybe this will help you improve the experience for future diners.
Its been many years since Ive been but this is one of those restaurants you will NEVER FORGET! I dream about the endless hours of wandering through the gift shop dreaming of what to purchase next. My family loved getting my Christmas gifts! Dont even get me started on the food, I drool over the thought of homemade dishes and desserts. I just seen that the place has expanded over time. I cant even imagine what other goodies they have to offer. With a staff that will treat you like family and friends that you will be bound to meet, I cant think of anywhere else in the world I would love to be.
Have come here several times and they have made my food incorrect or my whole table has eaten and I have been made to wait. Went there again today to give them another chance (#10) Guess what - my whole table received their food and I was left to wait again because someone else took my plate and gave it to someone else. Deb White - the owner - came over to me and asked how everything was and I told her see, everytime I come here something happens. The OWNER told me welp then go somewhere else. What owner says that to a paying customer??? Do not go here!
Homemade everything with an extensive gift shop. Sandwiches on homemade bread, enormous sweet rolls. Just down the road a bit from Peak and Peek resort. Worth the drive in Amish country of Clymer, NY. Slow down, breathe and take a picturesque.ride here for a delicious meal.

2022-02-08First time to eat at this establishment and it was a great experience. Food was very tasty, portions large and most affordable. The workers there are very friendly. To top off this experience there is a 4000 square foot store within this restaurant filled with all kinds of wares. This is a great place to eat and shop.

2022-04-18First time going to this place and had an absolute terrible time. I ordered Mac n cheese and it was so disgusting, it looked very old like it had been sitting around for a few days and was burnt in some spots. I am not a very picky eater but when I tell you how bad it tasted I mean it. Now our waiter had also said this was not the first complaint and that she was going to take it off our bill. So she took our old bill away that had said our meal was $45.?? (I do not remember the exact change amount). When she came back she said the new bill would be at the register. Once rudely greeted by the cashier she handed us the new bill which was in the amount of $48.81. Which made no sense to me since they were supposed to take money off for the mac n cheese. When I tried to explain that to her she told me that’s the price I have to pay. She argued with me. My grandma who got a senior meal attempted to reason that something was wrong with the bill. The cashier suddenly walked away from her mid sentence without listening to her!I had enough of this lady being not only rude to me but my grandmother as well. I paid the UP CHARGE on the bill so we could get out of there and leave.Worst experience I have ever had going out to eat. Not only was the food disgusting but some of the workers were extremely rude. I will not ever go back to this place nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

2022-04-23Waiter was rude,, our food was cold for the most part and all the toast with our order was burnt. When we brought up concerns about our order we were ignored. Dont plan on coming back especially considering its a good drive to go there.

2020-06-28The offer an amazing homemade breakfast. So much better than the chains and still cheaper. Service was spectacular. They do a great job sanitizing and keeping everyone separated. They have a lunch and dinner menu but weve only tried the breakfast. Highly recommend.
