Good duty free prices. Always clean. Nice people.
One of best duty free shops
The ATM machine was damaged.I lost my transaction in the process of making a withdrawal. I lost money. Loved the Duty Free store and the prices were great. The store was clean and easy to shop around in. Very professional staff who assisted me with my purchase. I would be happy to shop here again for all of these reasons.
I came here a couple times before COVID-19. Good place to shop before entering Canada. They have many great things to offer. Its a nice, clean place with friendly staff. Would come here again after covid
Seems like the staff was on edge and tired of dealing with the public that didnt have the same expertise in custom regulation. They seemed frustrated and tired of having to tell the same thing over everyday. Typical employee fatigue of a repetitive job and struggling to stay fresh. visited Feb 2018
Great staff good size parking area good deals on duty free worth a look before you cross over to Canada has restroom available aswell also has a large range of products not just beer, wine and spirits chargers sweets and perfume to name a few has atm machines and can pay with Canadian or us dollars
The prices are better on the Canadian side.They have a tiny selection of things and the displays could use help.The checkout area looks like a cattle chute.Huge alcohol selection, I can see who they are catering to and its not me.
Great Duty Free Store, open 24hrs per day, 7 days a week and holidays! And its right next to Canadian customs so you cant miss it. If you are not sure what you are allowed to bring back, they also know all the rules.
It is a pretty small duty free. You can get snacks, alcohol, etc. However, personally I like the duty free better on the Canadian side. On the Canadian side, you have more options and cheaper prices. I wish they had more to offer for souvenirs.
Just a very very very nice experience; able to locate gifts for family and friends enjoy visiting with neighbors , snacks placing a few tickets in for basket drawing. Thank you to the staff my wife and I had a very nice time. Lets do this again, next year!!
I wish to put (-10) do a very great stuff. If i was the boss of this place i will make this guy Stuff of the Millenium. Here’s my story I’m expected to spend money in this place but the guy is rushed me every minutes. Remembered me that he will close the shop. Funny. Good luck boss in this hard time looks like you have so many customers that to miss a few it’s nothing for you.
Stopped at this when we return from US to Canada. Appears 24 hours the shop is open because it was very late when we stopped here. Not a huge shop but got essential stuff like alcohol and tobacco and cloths etc. Staff seems nice and helpful and advised what can be taken across.
Beth was fantastic. She provided us ample samples. She was pulling any liquor off the shelf that we wanted to try. Fireball was awesome. Beth hitched a ride with us back across the border. Cant wait to go back and visit her.
An impressive selection of all the standard duty free items. As a Canadian the prices blow me away everytime but the service here is very slow. In a line up of 4 people it took over 15 minutes to be cashed out.

Very courteous staff and some really good selection of things to buy. From colognes and nicknacks to some well priced special beverages.Apart from the fact that the CDN dollar isn’t the best compared to USD right now, terrific place to shop.
Ill go here for Canadian maple syrup.Its one of those places that has a little bit of everything, but basically a souvenir shop that also sells liquor.Its good if you want to save a few bucks on some booze, but the clothing, not so much.It does carry a large selection of Canada souvenirs, though, and some of those are pretty cool.All in all, I give it a meh.

Its DFA, not terribly big but they have the basics, the wine selection stinks and the best bottle of red was knock off stags leap. Beer selection leaves a lot to be desired as well, staff are always super nice and helpful though,they do that part excellently.
DFS Canada/Thousand Islands has the most helpful & pleasant employees. Great prices too!
The cashier forced me to get a very thick plastic bag for my alcohol purchases, pretending a state law does not authorize customers to leave the store without such a bag. Even though I told him its just a popular belief and there is no such law, he got very rude and agressive.

This is one of the most scenic places I have ever been to.The rocks and pine trees are so impressive. This is an area I would like to retire to.The 1000 Islands are Gods special secret.
As a Canadian headed to the USA, the prices werent interesting enough to buy any booze or wine. Better to buy American product in the USA and buy your booze on the way home leaving the USA.

Quite a large store, just a few yards from the Canadian border, well stocked.
Changed drastically. Loved stopping in and shopping the Canadian apparel, Swarovski crystal, knick knacks , perfume, cologne and of course duty free liquor. Now its just liquor, makeup and cologne and perfumes.
Wine selection isnt all that great. Some good deals on all the basic types of liquor. Wish they had more options for such a busy border crossing.
The selection is improving for bourbon (e.g. Bookers) but watch out - some duty free deals are really good but others (e.g. some of the scotch) was actually more expensive than the LCBO. Im happy to see the bourbon selection improving, and hope to see some whiskeys in the future that I cant buy in Canada.
Decent store, but Janet the cashier is extremely condescending and rude. She got angry at customers who couldnt hear her questions. She should be retrained in customer service. Does not represent the corporation well.

I liked the place, good products and some interesting deals. Staff very friendly and they advised me for my timing not to get in trouble at the border, I actually appreciate that alot and its good to see peoples not only after money..
The cashier was knowledgeable and also a hoot. Told us if we dropped case of beer in parking lot it would be alcohol abuse.. Fun stop.
Get your duty free stuff before crossing. Great place to get gifts for.your friends. K ow all the rules and your license plate number.

Huge Reno there...the line up to cross the border is ludicrous!!! Over 2 hours wait between 08h00-10h00.
We didnt buy anything just stopped to use the restroom which was clean.
Its duty free, all the usual items still priced higher than locally in the States but a lot cheaper than at home.

2022-06-16Called in before to confirm if they have printing services.Guy says yes we do.Reached the duty free tried to find the email address to send the printout to. Couldnt find one, asked the cashier, she confidently said, its written on the paper hanging out on the screen.Nothing there.She probably assumed I cant read the language.Then after confirming it herself that it really doesnt say the email, she gave me a piece of paper with the email info.Now I sent the email and asked if she would received one and I can pay.She goes it will take about 15 minutes, I do not do printouts, you go away will let you know.5 minutes, 10 minutes passed, she is like nothing is there you go out come back later to check and said it sometimes take hours to receive the email here and she have had truckers waiting overnight for printouts.There was another person trying to get photocopy, she went in to get it done, but said printout is different.Also asked her if the fax was faster and if she could get the fax printed.It will take time.Then she is like we are going to stop the printout services here on and dont come here for printing service again.You should have got the printout before from xyz places she mentioned.God knows if she was depressed or hated working at this place or hated dealing with certain set of people/tribes.This may not be the best attitude to have at your workplace. You hate certain races be it I dont mind it but leave it outside your workplace doors and dont cause inconvenience to the customers.Lady thought I was asking for a free service, I was paying for it. And so much so this job seemed a wrong fit for this lady.Maybe the lady was lying or the technology for fast internet communication has not reached this part of The United States, not even talking about Wild West but New York State.Maybe it was her way of showing what the1900s America may have felt like when certain races/ ethnic group was denied service or it was her version of denying the service to a certain ethnic group.

2018-08-10Clean bathrooms, great prices, your limit allowance and the rates you’ll be charge if you exceed them are posted in several places making it easy to decide if you’ll buy that second bottle of something.Alcohol and beer selection is excellent with a bit of everything. They also have cigarettes and cigars. And a large section for cosmetics and perfume. The purses and watches are also very nice.

2016-07-30If you want discount perfume, alcohol or tobacco this is a decent place. There are deals there, especially compared to Ontario liquor prices, but nothing crazy. Nice view out front though.
