I switched to E & V in Watertown, NY after having been with FK Gailey’s/Amerigas for over 30 years & haven’t looked back. They do what they say they will & prices are reasonable.

Would love if they wouldn’t charge me more than they supposed to.Order 100 gallons ended up paying nearly $100 more than what I wanted because of their mistake. Also charged me for an emergency drop off when I did not make the request and even if I did they came a week after my order.Always some sort of issue with these fools

Do Not Use this company. Please note on the bill, no repair was done, original bill was $108, after I reply to think about the outrage $495 quoted they add $54 on the bill, see the reply they send me, repair charge to fix the problem and make sure that I had heat, when there are no repair was done and no heat.Quote is 495, now in they reply the part replacement was a flat fee including labor and all incidentals for $300 which includes our part guarantee for a year, where did it said $300 in the bill? It was not mention in the quote about any guarantee or flat fee, and the flat fee is another lie!!Totally show how honesty this company isBE AWARE!! Dont use them you will get rip off
This company always ends up notifying us that we owe more than we actually do, leading us to multiple games of phone tag to clear up the situation. I can understand this mistake happening once or twice, but multiple times is just highly unprofessional. It is getting highly irritating.
EXCELLENT A/C install. From prompt quoting from Greg, to an EXCELLENTand professional install. The Team I worked with, was TOP to BOTTOM the absolute best you can find in Northern NY.Being a VERY skeptical consumer with the endless “HVAC” companies around here, Greg, Jamie, and Nate turned my skepticism into COMPLETE confidence.After 4 quotes from “HVAC” install companies, E&V delivered on everything and then some!Within 4 days, from quote to completion, Greg and his team had my home cool, comfortable and professional installed!DONT CUT CORNERS, you pay for what you get!! And E&V are by far the BEST HVAC install/services in all of NNY.
I have been with this company for a long while now, and usually they are pretty good as long as you get the right person. For the most part they try to help you as much as they can. Stephanie I think is new but not helpful. I asked if there was anyone in my area bc I ran out of fuel and have 3 kids and I have a delivery set for tomorrow and she said no but I could send someone for a emergency fee. Usually every Time they tell me no one is in my area i see them passing my rd crazy I dont know if in the area means to them next door but mile down the road apparently is not in the area. There is only one guy that works there that I like to bc he seems to want to help.

When I called E&V to see how much propane was going for bill at the front desk told me it $2.95 a gallon and recommended I pay with credit card over the phone, but instead I went to the office and thats when I seen the posted price was $2.19 a gallon and when I asked he said he made a mistake, but if I wouldve gave my credit number I would have been locked in for $2.95, forgiving them I signed up for their automated fill program so you dont run out, well 2 months later my proane tank was completely empty, and they charged me an emergency fill fee of $250 ON TOP of the price of propane, then because my furnace had no fuel I guess it went into a saftey lock out and would not start again, so they sent out a service tech which cost $300 for him to start my furnace, all because I put faith in E&V and their automated tank fill, not only did they try to rip me off on the price, then they let me run out and forced me to pay a emergency delivery fee of $250 and service fee of $300, this company horrible

Found EV Energy by accident, while searching for heating oil tank refill for our cottage up North. The service desk was excellent: polite, knowledeable and responsive. Prices were very competative. Service delivery was as scheduled and very professional. All around - great experience. Highly recommend this company.

2021-04-12Recently had a Mitsubishi multi zone heating/AC system installed in our home. Chose E&V Energy because of very strong recommendations from friends. Their staff members are knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. We were very impressed with the installation, and have been using the heating portion for those cool mornings, and it works great. Looking forward to a cool home this summer. Thanks E&V Energy!

2020-11-19Of all the vendors I contacted, E&V’s sales representative was the most prompt, accommodating and negotiable for pricing, support, warranty & product recommendations & ratings, than others I called. . The install date was extended a bit due to pandemic backups on product, but the date was then offered sooner due to a cancellation. The two installers were courteous, hardworking and very knowledgeable of their product and the installation process. I’m most impressed with E&V and highly recommend them.

2022-03-23Tech was friendly, had to call another tech support to resolve a problem. They quoted me 707.00 to fix a 137.00 part after already spending 800.00 for a cleaning and review. Had to wait 7 months for a cleaning.

2020-06-08We have used E&V for propane for over seven years now, never once had an issue! So when it came time to install central air we knew just who to call. Not only was their pricing excellent their service members were If 10 incredibly professional. They wore booties on their feet to lay a drop cloth along my flooring so they didnt get anything dirty. They were quick, efficient and went over the system with my husband and myself so we knew what we had and how to properly use it. We have had so many good experiences with this company from emergency furnace work, auto delivery propane, and now our central air. We even had our furnace break down once and they brought us space heaters in the middle of winter to help while they fixed it! Their service is beyond reproach

2021-05-12I had a generator installed at a summer residence in Clayton in early May 2021. Rocky start on job due to weather in late fall and coordinating with Nat. Grid and inspector, then product availability due to pandemic. Once scheduled in April, there was a problem in communication with planning and materials and had to be rescheduled again. However, when Nate, Jamie and John came in May, everything went perfectly. They did an outstanding job in the quality of the installation, their effort to run all wiring through existing conduit to minimize disruption to new construction and were very neat and clean considering the muddy rainy day. They really did a superior job. I know just enough about this installation to have been a very critical customer and I am never completely impressed with any contractors job usual shortcuts, but that was not the case here. Excellent grades to these 3 guys and an exceptional good job!

2020-03-04All six individuals that I worked with were friendly, courteous and professional. An inspection of my furnace determined there was a problem. I phoned E&V and they were there the next day. Due to water coming into my furnace I needed a new furnace installed. Within 2 hours a rep was at my house working up a quote to replace the furnace. The installers were there the next day and both courteous and professional. Highly recommend.

2020-05-24The delivery people are great but their billing system is terrible. I had propane delivered a month and a half ago. I just now was informed that they apparently never charged me, even though every time I order propane tell them to charge my card on file. When I asked why I was just now hearing about it they said it takes 30 days for their computer to tell them yet they hadnt contacted me for a month and a half after the delivery. Ive had issues before with them taking weeks after my delivery to charge me, for a while I was calling to ask and was always told it would go through within a few days. I stopped calling after deliveries and this happened. Ive also requested multiple times for them to email me a receipt once they actually charge me and they never do!

2019-06-21I’ve done business with E&V for several years and recently had air conditioning installed. They were fantastic from beginning to end. Greg, Jamie and Nate were all exceptional, friendly and really knew what they were doing. All took their time in explaining everything and answering all of my questions. I can’t recommend them enough!

2019-01-07I set up my account automatically. For some reason they didn’t take the whole amount out and I didn’t get any notification through phone call. Bill in mail. Bill in email or anything letting me know the whole amount didn’t come out. When I finally got a letter they stated that my account would be on hold until I pay a big lump some by that Monday. I didn’t get the letter in the mail until saturday and they wanted me to have a big lump sum together by that following Monday with no warning or anything letting me know what’s going on. So I called in to see if I could get an extension or something and was told that I could. That my account was on hold until the whole amount is paid. I’m in the process of getting heap but I have 2 small children and heap can take forever to get into. But basically they won’t do anything for me until the receive payment. No payment plans available no setting up a date to have it paid by. If it wasn’t paid by today the account goes on hold. I have about 3 days left until we run out of heat. And was told to just call and see if they could speed up the heap process. Loved them at first. They were all really nice and explained everything to a T. But now I wish I could switch companies

2017-07-18My initial visit was great with Greg. He did a through evaluation of my house, recommended the unit I needed and gave me a quote. The installation team was friendly, professional, and willing to answer any of my question. I am very happy with my experience with E and V Energy.
