Eagles Nest in other cities:
I have not had the opportunity to attend a dinner or anything here. I actually found this place by accident while exploring an area on my way to the next job for the day. Im based in Massachusetts but I saw a cool sign and followed it to the coolest little spot. I rang the bell but the place was unfortunately a ghost town perched on the side of a mountain with an unbelievable view. I searched the property and got a phone number. I called to leave a message asking for more details and hours of operation but to this day have not heard back . Unfortunately. Because the view was worth it alone. I would die to stay there and sit next to a fire over looking that view after a good meal. I will be pursuing this further. However ultimately Im afraid I may not be able to afford the price tag associated with a stay here.
Amazing venue for wedding! The staff was so helpful and the food was delicious. The view is indescribable, you have to see it for yourself. Additionally, the cabins are charming and its very nice to have so many other guests close by after the wedding, no need to Uber!
The Eagles Nest was an absolutely pleasant surprise. Tucked away in a mountain setting, it is a warm and welcoming place. We attended the wedding of my niece. The weather cooperated and we were able to attend the outdoor version of the ceremony. The backdrop was the valley below and it was beautiful.Once the reception began inside, we were treated to a lovely cocktail hour. Drinks were plentiful and the appetizers were good, homestyle treats. As a big fan of smoked salmon, I was thrilled to find it among the selections. They also offered something I never had before, sweet and sour meatballs. Sounds like a simple thing, but they were extraordinary. The wait staff was so attentive and visible. In addition, they were pleasant and most accommodating in every way.Our dinner menu was delightful as well. My choice was prime rib, which was cooked to perfection. Also on the menu was fish and Chicken Française, which my son ate and loved. Our glasses were never empty and our food was brought to the table exactly as everyone ordered. But I want to mention that the attentiveness of the staff was not in any way annoying, they didnt hover.Dinner was followed by dancing which was followed by a dessert hour. The Bride and Groom cut the cake and then we were invited into an adjacent area for a dessert buffet. The selection was beyond belief. Cake, pastries, even homemade donuts. I definitely overindulged because I couldnt get enough of the sweet and tasty treats. I was like a kid picking up selections from every plate on the tables. The evening concluded beautifully, or so I thought. Much to my surprise, the Eagles Nest offered an after-party for us. As if we hadnt enough party, the staff had cleared the previous cocktail room as well as the outdoor sitting area which provided a beautiful nighttime view of the valley. Drinks continued, but they provided another little surprise. The wait staff set up a little food station which offered submarine sandwiches (hoagies, heroes, whatever you want to call them) that were made on delicious, homestyle bread. As if I hadnt eaten enough, I indulged myself to a healthy slice of the sandwich. But the fun wasnt over yet. After spending the night in the adjoining cozy cottages, (clean and comfortable), we were invited, yet again to the dining area for a buffet breakfast. A hot breakfast, coffee, tea and dry cereal were among the selections and the Eggs Florentine were top-notch. Again, the wait staff was attentive, but not hovering. They did a fantastic job right up to the end. Id like to mention two people whose names I got, Kristina and Bobby, who not only oversaw the entire event, they rolled up their sleeves and lent a hand to make sure that everything went smoothly. Rest assured, it did.If you are looking for a beautiful day in a delightful rustic setting, you can take my word that you wont be sorry if you visit and choose the Eagles Nest. They work very hard to make sure that the Bride gets her beautiful day and that the families are well-fed and happy with the event as well. Kudos to the Eagles Nest.
The views are breathtaking the food and service is beyond amazing a beautiful place to have a wedding very private had the whole place to ourselves which made for lots of fun memories the only thing they need is better mattresses in some of the older cabins otherwise top knotch venue for a wedding again amazing
I started planning my wedding in February 2020. When I first booked the Eagles Nest I was excited because the view is beautiful and I was promised the wedding Ive dreamed of. Corey was supposed to get back to me on some questions I had after booking and never did. Eventually Blake got back to me after about a month of me trying to get a hold of someone and said he would get back to me with the answers. Never heard from Blake again. After again trying to get a hold of anyone, I was then in contact with Kristina. I sent pictures of how I wanted my cake to look and even explained it on the phone 2 days before the wedding, my cake at my wedding was not what I asked for. It looked so plain and not at all what I asked for. I paid extra money to have the pork tenderloin added to my menu because it was good at taste testing but they gave us a different pork at the wedding which tasted horrible. The first pork plate they brought out I had to send back cause it was bloody and raw. The 2nd plate I tasted and ended up not eating because it tasted like a frozen tv dinner. My brother didnt even get potatoes on his plate just a raw steak after he asked for well done. At taste testing I specifically asked for the cheesecake to be at the wedding for dessert table and there was no cheesecake at all at the dessert table. My bridal party rehearsed dances and poses for when they got announced into the reception and was told right as they were going to get called out that they werent allowed to do it. I spent over $100 on my cake topper that was never put on my cake. I spent money on sparklers for a sparkler send off that noone knew where the sparklers went to that I gave them until after the reception so I didnt get to have one. My guests paid for rooms for 2 nights but ended up only staying 1 cause there was no heat in most of the rooms and some didnt have hot water either. I was told that the rooms were being renovated before the wedding but there was no heat in most rooms my bathroom door had a hole in the back of it and none of the bathroom doors in the rooms would close all the way. I was informed only 2 weeks before the wedding that everyone had to get tested for covid exactly 3 days before the wedding or 6 hours with rapid testing,I ended up paying for some of my guests to be tested who didnt have insurance, only for them not to even ask for the paperwork anyway. I could go on about things they messed up but I am only allowed a certain amount of space on here. The rehearsal dinner went great, the wedding was a disaster. I paid thousands of dollars for my wedding and it was definitely not the wedding I was promised. I sent an email about my experience to them and they couldnt even be bothered to respond. I recieved an email about how they forgot to give me the top layer to my cake and the cake topper that they never put on my cake but no mention of my email to them. Most of the workers there are friendly and the bartender is awesome but I dont think anyone knows who is in charge and theres no communication there between them so everything is crazy and noone seems to know what their job is to do. Either that or they just dont care. As beautiful as the view is it just wasnt worth all the stress they added and all the mess ups that there really was no excuse for. If I could know then what I know now I would have not booked the Eagles Nest for my wedding.
Breathtaking views, outstanding food and wonderful service! Eagle’s Nest is open on weekends for dinner and Sunday brunch unless they are hosting a wedding and the menu is posted on Facebook. Currently it’s a prix-fixe four course dinner with fantastic options. The sea bass was cooked to perfection! The deck overlooks the stunning Hudson Valley. Memorable spot
Bobby and his team provided superb catering for our private wedding, and were a pleasure to work with through the entire process of planning and execution. The menu options were varied and delicious, the cake was stunning (captured our vision perfectly), and the team was very kind and helpful throughout the weekend! Wed highly recommend their services to anyone who is planning an event of any size!On behalf of my parents:We would like to give our highest possible recommendation for Bobby Maier at the Eagle’s Nest, Bloomingburg, NY - who catered our son’s wedding a couple of weeks ago on site at our property. It was delightful to work with Bobby who is such a consummate professional and such a wonderful person, from the planning all the way through the end of the event. Weddings can be very stressful, but Bobby was a reassuring, cheerful, even fun presence throughout the whole process.Bobby came for a site visit for several visits before the wedding, and he was patient and creative in his suggestions, pointing out where we could save as needed. The wedding couple proposed a very complex cake, but he didn’t bat an eyelash (and was able to recreate it perfectly). We had two dinners on successive nights -Rehersal Dinner and Wedding Dinner, and the food and service was simply superb. The hors d’oeuvres were elegant and simply delicious, the cakes and Viennese Table were stunningly good, and the main courses were top-quality, which is something you can almost never say about a wedding dinner. Even the coffee was excellent!Bobby’s team worked seamlessly. The two chefs operated like a well-oiled machine, and the two servers were efficient and discreet in their service – and left us each evening with a spotless event space for use the following day. They made it all look so easy, and that is very hard to do. We really look forward to calling on Bobby Maier and the Eagle’s Nest team to make another family function extra-special.Gloria & Douglas Daly – parents of the groom.
The Eagle’s Nest catered our outdoor, off site wedding last August. We are SO grateful for the care and service they provided. Our family was able to truly enjoy themselves instead of worrying about details the day of. Corey and his team made sure everything went smoothly and did so in such a friendly, fun, and professional way.The servers and bartenders were incredibly warm and helpful, as well.We are still daydreaming about our wedding day and we are so thankful to Eagle’s Nest, as they were truly a huge part of making it special and memorable!Thank you for everything Corey!!Andrea & Daron Smith
We recently had our wedding at the Eagles Nest and everything was absolutely AMAZING!!! They were very attentive to our needs, detail oriented, and very accommodating. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Corey was extremely patient with all of my questions and the wedding wouldnt have been perfect if Bobby wasnt there. Both Corey & Bobby stepped in when they saw an issue, addressed it immediately, and ensured I was happy with the final result. That wasnt their job and they didnt have to help with half the things they did, but that is also why they are #1 in our book. They have gone far above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. They are nothing short of miracle workers and we truly appreciate everything everybody did to make our special day a memorable one!!! Thank you all again for everything!
There are not enough stars. They catered our wedding and I cannot say enough. From beginning to end Mike helped us through the catering process. His son looked after us on our wedding day and his son and staff were amazing and went the extra mile to ensure everything was taken care of. The food we had was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. We cant thank them enough for helping to make our day an incredible one.
There for wedding. Staff very friendly, professional, excellent. Reception hall very nice. Service excellent, and very accommodating.FOOD? Excellent! We stayed overnight in their cabins. Check out the cabins before you decide to stay. They were very clean but amenities, zero. Very dated and old. They call them cabins for a reason.
I attended a friends wedding and everyone in the venue was 100% perfection, polite and very accommodating!! The food was delicious and the view was 1 of a kind. We had a beautiful winter wonderland wedding!! I highly recommend it to anyone whos planning an event of any kind.Keep up the great work!JCT from NYC
Long over due review. Hubby and I had our wedding here Memorial Day Weekend. We chose it after being at another friends wedding and combing the entire area for our special day. This is a family run place and they will treat you like their family. The views are stunning, the vibes are chill, and the staff is so hard working, personal, and go above and beyond; every single one of them.On our day a bad storm blew in right before ceremony - something that must be considered and gambled when deciding on an outdoor ceremony. The staff was communicative and realistic about what was going on. Power went out because of nature related causes and they recovered in literally no time with a back up generator. We agreed to move things inside and the staff followed the weather up to the minute. Storm cleared up right before we were about to begin inside after set up, and they offered to turn set up back over to outdoors knowing how much we wanted it. Didn’t even need us to ask them; they asked us. True story, they work so so hard for their clients and are beyond amazing.Had a beautiful ceremony and staff was very hospitable to us, our guests, and vendors during cocktail hour while we were taking pics. They made sure we were all fed with delicious apps and provided with drinks non-stop. You won’t have to worry about missing out on your entire cocktail for photos. The foods ahhhmazing, the service beyond amazing, and it continued all night. One of our favorite parts being the fire pit option for after hours. The party kept going, the service was never ending, and our guests had the safe option of staying onsite in bungalows when they were ready to go to bed. Can’t thank them enough. I can go on and on and on about all the pro’s of having The Eagles Nest host our big day. Especially the ease of having everything done on site meaning no traveling for our guest, our vendors, or us.I’d recommend it to any couple for their big day. We got endless compliments from our guest about how much fun they had and its really because of this special crew.
Can not say enough positives about The Eagles Nest for my daughters wedding venue. Mike, Bobby, Dolly, Raymond, Tina and the entire staff excelled above and beyond and ensured my daughters dream wedding came true. They handled all the details and made sure we had anything we needed or wanted. The food was phenomenal as was the service. This is the place for the best of any occasion and I am eternally grateful. Thank you.
Best venue in the area!!! I had a blast and the food was phenomenal!!! Just great. And what a view. Breath taking. The pictures dont do it justice. And the owners children that work there were such professionals he should be proud of the job they are doing. Well done. Not enough stars.
We were here for my Brother-in-laws wedding! It was amazing. Passed horderves were tasty, plentiful, and lots of different options. The view here is absolutely amazing! The venetian dessert bar was ridiculously amazing! I would recommend this location for anyones wedding or event!
Our family had a wonderful experience at the Eagles Nest. The adventure started our with the groom unfortunately arriving 2 hours late for the rehearsal dinner. They held the dinner for us and worked with our changed timing. Second, many of our guests had not made reservations to stay that night and the EN staff rushed to get the rooms ready with graciousness. The next day they worked tirelessly to make my daughters day a great celebration. The food was amazing and I cannot say enough good about their baker, Michael --the wedding cake was magnificent. I, the mother of the bride, had an unfortunate allergy to something (I still dont know what it was) and the staff cared for me and made sure that I was taken care of while simultaneously keeping the party going the way it needed to be. Even on a fall day the view was breathtaking. I would recommend this venue to anyone, anytime.
I told my mom I wanted to be married on a mountain and boy did she deliver. She found The Eagles Nest through recommendation of other people in the area, to begin with the eagles nest is in fact beautiful, I was married on a clear day and you could see a view that seemed to go on forever. The eagles nest was great as they had a ready to go back up plan just in case the weather was poor, i was confident that rain or shine my wedding would go off without a hitch. Secondly, the food was amazing. I have a gluten allergy and It was important to me that I be able to enjoy most of the food at my wedding. They were so accommodating with my allergy, even making me a special gluten free plate to enjoy during the cocktail hour. My wedding cake was gluten free as well. The Maitre d was fantastic, he helped with everything from getting me to the isle with my long train to making sure my drink never got warm. Eagles nest made sure they had some of my favorite cider available during my wedding for me. They also have rooms available for people to rent after the reception which was fantastic as the night continued even after my reception was over. We utilized the fire pit to make smores which was a hit with my overnight guests, there was breakfast the next day as well. The bar stayed open through the night and many of my guests took advantage of that. The staff was professional and friendly and my wedding was truly perfect. I am so grateful to Michael and his staff at The Eagles Nest, I highly recommend them as they are affordable, beautiful, professional and everything you could ask for in a venue for a wedding. I was also able to find most of my vendors through his recommendations list and they were truly fantastic as well. I am so appreciative :)
Eagle’s Nest voted the #1 Wedding venue at Hudson Valley- there’s no surprise on that. I work in Hotel & Restaurant Industry, I have the eye for detail for food and service. From our first meeting with Michael, I knew right then that we will be in great hands. Michael was so easy to work with. He went above and beyond to accommodate our request. He would never say “no” or “we can’t do it”. Corey, Bobby, Dolly & Raymond- We can’t thank you enough for your hospitality and excellent service! Our party stayed until 4am with the firepit, smores and pizza- Bobby stayed the whole night!!If you are looking for great food, that will go above and beyond for you & your guests & view to die for- look no further!! They will exceed your expectations!Eagle’s Nest is not your typical “wedding factory” that’s for sure. Day of coordinator, cake in house, viennese table, could accommodate after party, personalize service, what more could you ask for?
We didnt have our wedding at their venue, but we had them cater our wedding at Benmarl Winery and they hit an out-of-the-park-homerun!! The guests are still talking about marvelous the food was!! The cocktail hour food was available through the beginning part of dinner for people to still munch on and that was a hit! The entrees were delicious and the hospitality was unbelievable :) The owner of the winery commented that these caterers were one of the most respectful, professional, and kind people who have worked at the winery. They did all of the set up and breakdown in record time. The Maitre D, Corey, did such an outstanding job making sure that everything happened on time and my husband and I always had a drink in hand and actually got to eat!! He was amazing. You cannot go wrong with The Eagles Nest.

2021-11-18My husband and I got married at The Eagle’s Nest on 10/24 and we could not say nicer things about this venue. They truly are amazing at what they do and the staff is lovely to work with. The entire wedding felt like an absolute dream, communication leading up to the wedding was a breeze and they make everything as easy as possible. The whole night they make sure you are happy and well taken care of. The bungalows are so convenient and adorable and it was so nice to make sure our guests had a safe place to rest their heads after the wedding. We also added the fire pit add on for after the party and it was the best choice we could have made. We had the absolute most perfect wedding and we can’t thank The Eagles Nest enough for everything they did and for how absolutely wonderful the experience was.

2021-09-01Got married at the Eagle’s Nest at 8/7 and couldn’t be happier! Everything was perfect. All of our guests raved about how much they loved the venue and how it was even worth 4+ hours stuck in traffic coming from NYC haha. We originally picked it because we were struck by the spectacular view, the convenience of the on-site cabins, the value of everything (added champagne and dessert bar!), and the delicious food. In addition to all of these perks, we were very impressed by the service.Bobby was our main point of contact throughout the planning process and he was amazing. During our wedding, Bobby and the rest of the staff were constantly checking in with us about if we needed anything which helped us to feel relaxed and in good hands. We also appreciated so many of the little added things that they did for us such as picking up some local beers for our wedding reception and packing us leftover food to take home the next day. Also thank you to the bartender who stayed there til the early hours of the morning for our after party! We wish we could do it all again! I highly recommend the Eagle’s Nest!

2018-09-24I attended a wedding here. The view is spectacular and the staff was excellent! Very nice and personable! They went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable! However, the facilities were a bit outdated such as the bathrooms and cabin rooms. Otherwise, very nice overall experience.

2018-09-28The Eagles Nest was Fantastic! They really know what they are doing when it comes to making your big day perfect. The Eagles Nest is organized and so easy to work with. Their food is fantastic and so are their desserts. The will make what ever accommodation they can to make sure that you are happy on your wedding day! The Eagles Nest is a all in one venue. They have a ceremony space, a backup just in case of rain, a Day of coordinator, place to stay over night, fire pit and makes the cake on site. Leading up to the wedding day I was told that I will not have time to eat and enjoy the food, but the Eagles Nest made sure that we had plenty of food. There was always servers coming to me or my groom asking us if we needed anything, bringing us food and drinks when ever we wanted. On top of the amazing service, the view is stunning! If you want a beautiful mountain view look no further! I could just go on and on about how wonderful The Eagles Nest really is! I do not think we would be able to find any better place then The Eagles Nest to host our wedding. There is a very good reason why The Eagles Nest won the best wedding venue in the Hudson Valley three years in a row! Thank you so much Eagles Nest for making our day go so smoothly and perfectly! You are all the best!

2021-10-31My daughter held a wedding there earlier this month.Yes the scenery is beautiful as you can see in the photos, but what the photos cant show is the way the staff operate. It was hectic setting everything up as is usual with events like this. I cant say enough about the total professionalism and courtesy of the people running the place. From the start, we were made to feel comfortable and at ease that all would be taken care of to ensure the wedding would be one to remember. It was a huge success beyond my expectations. Bobby and Christine were absolutely fantastic, as were the wait staff and bartenders. I couldnt ask for a better experience.During the event many commented that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The food was incredible and plentiful, drinks were great, and the whole experience was definitely one to remember.I cant say enough about this place. The folks who run it are total professionals and do a great job. They know their stuff and are very friendly and personable.

2021-09-21The Eagle’s Nest is a beautiful wedding venue. The views from the deck are breathtaking and the mountains and sunsets are amazing. The food was delicious and plentiful. The dessert bar was fabulous. Bobby and his staff were both professional and very attentive and they took care of everything with a smile. They couldn’t have been any more accommodating. We stayed in the on-site cabins which were clean, comfortable and affordable. The next morning we woke up to a full breakfast in the dining room which was included with the cabin rental. I highly recommend the Eagles Nest!

2018-07-15Great view! And a very nice wedding venue with a very nice common area, dining room and deck. The cabins were pretty dated, the beds werent the most comfortable and should probably be updated. But overall the venue and view make up for the other short comings.
