Had to replace 3 kitchen appliances that had reached the end of their lives. Visited Gary in sales who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Today Roger and Xavier from Truck #3, delivered and installed our new appliance. Roger and Xavier did a nice job. They were effective and efficient and they did it with a smile. Really appreciated the entire Earl B. Feiden team and the experience. Thank you.
Needed a relatively minor repair (broken lid lock) to my washing machine. I hadnt thought that it might be covered under warranty since I had purchased it two years ago, but thankfully, someone checked and parts and labor were fully covered, saving me $170. Ben was friendly and went above and beyond the repair, checking the condition of the motor, etc., performing preventative maintenance for a common loose wiring issue, shimming and leveling the machine properly, replacing a bifold door which had been dislodged in front of the machine, and making an adjustment to a laundry chute above the machine which had caused laundry to catch on the lid lock. I am also reminded to compliment the sales department for helping me choose the washer over the phone, using my tight space measurements and other specifications, in March 2020 when the pandemic was in full swing, saving me a trip to the showroom. You dont get service like this from a big box store!
From the sales staff to the delivery of my new refrigerator was flawless. The delivery staff Keith and Josh were very polite and efficient. They installed the new refrigerator with care and made sure everything was working perfect before they left. They are an asset to the Earl Feiden team.
Xavier & Roger delivered a new dryer. Before they could bring the new dryer into the house, they had to remove my washer from the room, so they could take the old dryer out. They were not phased by this extra step and were extremely efficient and professional. They definitely knew what needed to be done and did it! They were very personable and easy to work with. If you need an appliance delivered by Earl B. Feiden Appliance, ask for Truck 3!
Samuel did an amazing job on my freezer. I thought for sure Id have to get rid of it and buy another one. Samuel managed to diagnose and fix the problem when another well known company couldnt. He was courteous, clean, and most of all professional. Thanks again Samuel!
One never wants to have a technician or technicians visit their home for a major repair six-months after purchasing a top of the line refrigerator. However if this does befall you and you purchased the item from Feiden’s ask the service department to send Samuel to undertake the repair! He is dedicated, intelligent but most of all knowledgeable and professional. Kudos to Samuel for a job well done.
The repair technician, Louis came to look at our dryer. He was incredibly knowledgeable, explained everything he was doing and full explained all of our options. He is an amazing technician and person. With staff life this outside of the store, we know that when we go into the store that the staff there is top notch with expert knowledge and realistic options.
Samuel was very knowledgeable. He presented us with our options and once we made the decision he saw the resolution through to the end with expertise, patiently explaining to us what he as doing at every step. He was very pleasant to work with. We were very satisfied with his work.

Last week, our GE Dryer crapped out. It wouldnt dry. As dryers are expensive, we figured that wed roll the dice to see if the dryer was repairable. We called out local plumber and they told us that they recommended Earl B. Feiden Appliance in Kingston, so we called them to set an appointment. On the agreed upon day, Service Tech BEN HUNTER arrived on time & inspected the dryer. He determined that the problem was a simple clog of the exhaust system that was actually inside the machine. He cleared it out and made a few minor adjustments. Mr. Hunter was very professional and when he was finished, he showed us what the issue was and the work that he had performed.If we ever need any repairs done to our home appliances in the future, we will definitely call on Earl B. Feiden Appliance!
Chris Ortiz came to look into our stove top and the strange goings-on with the starters. He was outstanding! Very professional, pleasant, answered questions about other appliances we want to replace. He went all the way to diagnose the problem. We learned a lot from him and will ask for him in the future. A lovely, knowledgeable guy. All hail Chris!
Service Call _Samuel D. Refrigerator Tech. Extraordinarily knowledgeable and thorough. He made sure I was aware of my options and possible scenarios each step of the way, before starting anything. Unfortunately for my poor fridge, the ultimate repair would neither be quick nor cheap (which he told me upfront might be the case). REALLY appreciate his candor. Highly Recommend !!!
Samuel arrived right on time... Asked a few questions and proceeded to check my upright freezer. He diagnosed and then explained what had happened and what he was going to do to repair. He did exactly what he said and my freezer worked just fine and has been for 2 days now! Kudos also to the Service team who sent Samuel to my home... Even though I didnt buy this one appliance from them! I did purchase every other appliance in my home from Feiden... Made a mistake not purchasing this upright freezer from them as well .. but they understood and sent service! Ill never buy another appliance from anyone else! Thank you...
Sams service of our SubZero was exemplary!! He was knowledgeable, polite and very customer-oriented. His problem-solving skills were right-on and he was always willing to share his expertise. If Sam is typical of Feiden service, we will continue to be your very-satisfied service customers!
Christian and Keith just delivered and installed my new dishwasher and I was impressed with their efficiency and workmanship. They were friendly and answered all my questions. I would recommend Feiden Appliance for any appliance needs.Just had to order a new washing machine and the Salesman Mike was great and answered all my questions. Cannot wait to get my new washer. We had an issue with our refrigerator’s ice maker. Samuel came to our home in November to diagnose the problem. He contacted the manufacturer to obtain the correct part. He returned in a timely manner weeks later to install the part. Samuel was neat, professional, polite and very competent.
Samuel was our repairman for our dishwasher issue. Found the obstruction and cleared it. But, more importantly, took the time to explain the proper use of the appliance and the importance of monthly maintenance and how it works best . Feiden , also at my request, change his delivery time to accommodate my schedule. Samuel was professional and courteous.
The service is 2nd to nobodyI went up last week ordered appliances for 3 Kitchens and a few washers and dryers, they knocked it out of park. The salesman Ron was great, and the 2 guys that came and delivered were professional, efficient, friendly and most importantly took incredible pride in their work. I recommend Feidens for all your appliances
Samuel was able to repair our DCS gas range. Was able to get the parts that it needed. Everything is working properly again. Thank you Samuel.The other local authorized repair person not from Feidens charged us to look at the stove and called 4 days later to say parts were not available and he couldn’t repair it.
The install crew from Feidens just finished putting in a new LG dishwasher at my house. Bob and John (Truck 6) were awesome, skilled and very courteous .. They dealt with a complex plumbing issue and at the end of the day Im very happy with their installation ... Thanks!
I had an annoying, noisy LG freezer fan that would start whirring intermittently. I called Earl B. Feiden and they got a very experienced and knowledgeable repairman there within three hours. The job required ordering a part and it arrived as expected and was installed by the same repairman, Will Vertefeuille, in a flash. Will couldnt have been nicer to work with...if I could give him 10 stars, I would. Thank you Earl B. Feiden repair! I will use you again in the future.
Samuel fixed our KitchenAid refrigerator today and we are thrilled! The compressor and circuit board failed last Nov while we were away for several weeks. What a nightmare. Feidans worked hard to solve the problem and kept us posted on locating parts. Samuel was efficient and helpful and made sure everything was functioning correctly.
Samuel made the repairs to our refrigerator in a timely manner and addressed all of our questions. He was very professional and explained well what we need to do to prevent any other problems. The customer service leading up to the repair was also very good at keeping us informed when the needed parts were available
We have wide plank pine floors and was I worried that the delivery of our stackable washer and dryer would scrape the floor. The first thing Xavieer did before removing the old appliance was to put down floor covering. He and Roger from Truck 3 of the Latham store were very professional with the installation, explaining everything as they went along. They were in and out in no time. Our salesman Gary was also very helpful and knowledgable.
Ben was our service technician. Scheduled to arrive between 12 and 4. Got a call at 5 that he was running late. He came around 6 and stayed until 7. I appreciated his dedication to getting the job done. 5 stars for Ben.Zero stars for Feiden however. My 2 Liebherr fridges both had ice maker malfunctions, 4 months after installation. I called Feiden service and was told they had to contact Liebherr to authorize service. One week later no word on service. Not even a message they’re working on it. I called Feiden and was told they had not heard from Liebherr yet to permit service.I then called Liebherr myself and got authorization in 5 minutes. Whatever the reason, this is not a good look for Feiden. I came away feeling they made zero effort to contact Liebherr. How else can you possibly explain what happened? Honestly I really didn’t mind making the call-I spent no more time on the phone with Liebherr than I did with Feiden. I’m annoyed they promised to sort it out and did not, thereby delaying my service by a full week (longer by weeks, had I not taken the initiative to bug them again, and longer still, again by weeks, had they not had a service appointment cancellation). If they just told me to call Liebherr myself I would’ve been happy to do so.
Service tech Louis Wieler was extremely knowledgeable and professional. My appointmet was for sometime between 12 and 4. He had an earlier opening and got me in ahead of schedule. Fixed the problem right off. Highly recommend Louise and Feidens for prompt dependable service.
My landlord just recently purchased a refrigerator last month for my apartment because the old one wasnt freezing our food anymore. Me and my fiancee received the WORST treatment possible. From the receptionist all the way down to the delivery guys. Although they were polite, they still damaged the refrigerator bringing it up the stairs..first off, they wanted to deliver on a Saturday, which is fine but we already had plans to be out of town. They rescheduled for the following Monday and gave us a 2 hr window when they would be here..they called me when they got here but I was in the bathroom, so I missed the call. When I got out the bathroom 4 minutes later I asked my fiancee if they rang the doorbell or called the house number and she said no. I called back to see if they can come back and was flat out told no. They would have to reschedule and it could be a couple of weeks..I told the receptionist they cant be that far away and asked her if she can contact the driver to see if can come back and she said no she cant..I told her my food is going bad and I need a refrigerator..she said shes sorry but theres nothing she can do about it..I would have to reschedule for another day..I was blown away because I heard good things about this company.. well after rescheduling, I got my refrigerator 3 weeks later and was left with a few hundred dollars worth of spoiled food and a damaged refrigerator..thanks Ron but you guys have very bad customer service..
I’ve been struggling with a new expensive refrigerator but Ron and Tom came from Feiden’s Service department and made it right!! I appreciate the time and attention to provide outstanding service. Now, if I could only go 5+ years without ever needing another service man… :). But if I do, send Ron & Tom.

Can I look for your part? No,Id have to order it. The underlying message: Why dont you go play in the traffic circle out front instead? Thanks.Post Script: Feiden gave a reply and basically said they support their SERVICE guy-something about model numbers etc. The same numbers on the dial more than likely...The truth is no one could be bothered with my problem,couldnt even get off their seat to look at the part(piece of plastic with a slit in the back-I know,hi-tech stuff). Recently we had service for one of our appliances that was purchased at Earl B. Feiden. Samuel was our service rep. He called 20 minutes before arriving at our home, within the appointment time frame, as promised. As another display of the power of Murphys Law the terrible high pitched noise that our dishwasher had been making for weeks disappeared for our service call. Samuel took the time to diagnose our problem and shared a number of techniques with us to keep our machine in top running order. Samuel is the type of professional Service Tech that we all wish would show up when we call companies to help with our repair needs. As a long time customer, I would like to thank Earl B. Feiden for their continued commitment to customer service and Samuel for his professional approach to solving our appliances service needs.
This experience has solidified my loyalty to buying big-purchase items from a locally owned & operated business. After leaving Lowes & Home Depot feeling overwhelmed in my search to replace my broken refrigerator, I went to Feiden’s. Bruce worked with me - was so knowledgeable to all the makes & models, steered me to several options of what would work best for my family. I felt the price was comparable to the big-box stores & the service I received invaluable. After a few weeks with our new GE refrigerator, we unfortunately had a defective computer board that needed to be replaced - no fault of Feidan’s & I don’t even hold it against GE. Setting up service calls was so easy (and pleasant) with the Feidan phone representatives. Samuel was the technician both visits (first to diagnose, then to replace). He was so professional & patient with all my questions. 100% satisfied with the costumer service I received - thank you!!!!
Update. Bradley will give me a 100 dollar credit if I recant my review of experiences to cover up how many times they dropped the ball on my deliveryI CAN’T BE BOUGHT.Went from 5 stars to two. Watch your contracts folks. Know before you go.One hand doesn’t communicate from sales side to service/delivery side.They say they call you and they don’t. I waited till about 230 for a call to tell me when someone would come. 4 phone calls later I put my husband on the phone and low and behold, after call out excuses and staffing excuses. The found someone. Now I’m thinking back, no female sales people and excuse after excuse from the men I am starting to believe this is a male dominant business, unless your an admin assistant. And even if you have to ask a male you know to get on the phone with them, do it. Or the other option, go elsewhere.
Had a problem where my freezer stopped working the day before Thanksgiving. Feiden was able to squeeze me into the repair schedule, same day. The engineer, Samuel, was excellent. While they need to order some replacement parts, he was able to get my freezer temporarily working which will get me through the holiday and upcoming weekend (at least).
LATHAM LOCATION. I would like to commend the two Service Technicians Samuel and Chris who did a recent service call at our home. They were timely, friendly and knowledgeable. They answered questions we had and explained the issue and the solution very clearly. I asked them their names because I wanted their employer to know they are an asset to their business. Its nice to know there are still those who take pride in their work and are interested in the trades as a career.
Samuel and Chris stopped by, arrived slightly early and finished repairing a 10-15 year old ice maker in about 2 hours. Very respectful and were willing to answer any and all questions. Chris was here a month or two ago and attempted to fix it first, may have misdiagnosed it the first time around, but unsure. Regardless, they were eager to rectify this and did so promptly and professionally.

Louis made a service call to my home. He was extremely professional and made sure everything was fixed and in working order before he left. He went above and beyond for me. One of the best service guys there and I plan to request him in the future if any other issues arise with my appliances.
Very satisfied with the service! We shopped around quite a bit, but ended up returning to order our dishwasher here. Sales Consultant Alex followed up on the purchase, found the exact product to meet our requirements, offered a reasonable delivery schedule, and the payment plan that suited our preferences. The item was delivered on time, we were kept up-to-date on the delivery schedule. Dave and John did a fabulous job assessing the needs, then quickly obtained the extra parts needed for our kitchen plan, and installed the equipment quickly and reliably. To say that this appliance is quiet - is to say nothing! Its whisper quiet! Thank you, Team - appreciated! You are a pretty busy, but for a good reason, place.
Please avoid the headache & aggravation we got from This family owned business… purchased 5 brand new appliances for our new build…undamaged washer arrived on the third time… dishwasher improperly installed, falling out of the kitchen Island! Microwave improperly installed, again missing parts… service person arrived several times only to have zero knowledge of the problem and would have to come back yet a different day! WORSE yet is the lack of customer service on the phone… we were put on hold for at least 15 minutes.. transferred to someone else who knew nothing!!!! Yes, business has been affected by Covid 19 this past year… but nobody deserves the rudeness that we experienced countless times with this company. Never again!
Had a long ongoing service problem with a microwave, a component failure. Service technician, Chris, during our last problem did a great job identifying another issue which may have been in existence for a long time as well. He was thorough with his diagnostics and was a pleasure to deal with. Using his information and working with Brian in customer service (who was persistent representing us with the manufacturer), we were able to get the resolution we were looking for. Great service team and excellent follow up. Recommend the organization to anyone. There is a reason theyve been a long standing and outstanding appliance company in the Capital District. Thanks
We were having an issue with the washing machine. Samuel from Feidens service dept. Showed up he took the agitator out of the machine and you could see the build up of what he said was excess soap and fabric softener. We cleaned the tub and agitator and we will see if that was the issue.Samuel was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Feidens always stands behind what they sell. That is why all our appliances come from Earl B. Feidens.
We bought a dishwasher on August 30th and it was installed on on September 21, 20201 due to staff shortages. The repairman ran a rinse cycle for 3 minutes and shut it of and declared it was installed correctly. Tried to run the dishwasher 4 days later and the normal dishwashing cycle doesnt work; no water , no release of soap. Multiple calls to Bosch 800 number and Earl Fieden service line and no working dishwasher. Set up an appointment for repair and the service department called the wrong number and took us off the list. After complaining to several people at the store and service department, we got a rush apoointn 5 days later. No one from the sales/owner would return the call. They made the Service manager call us. Lousy service. We see it it will work on Tuesday.
Went on a sat morning found their parts area wasnt open but a pretty nice lady came outside and asked if I need help I told her I was looking for a dryer drum belt she helped me out by looking than trying to find the parton question but as luck has it she was unable to find it to that lady who help me thank you for trying
Dont waste your time getting your application installed from this company. Ordered a dishwasher and had it installed not only did they forget to turn the water back on after installing it now I found out from a plumber I paid to come out that the lines they set up are leaking and should have been replaced at install. Called and they basically said they will not be fixing it. Next time Ill just go to the big box stores as they probably care more than this business.Update: called said hell refund the installation. Also the guy on the phone asked me to remove or update my review. Plus he also viewed me on LinkedIn so thats interesting.Update 2: been about 2 hours still waiting for someone to call me about that refund that I was told would be shortly after the call I had 2 hours ago.
Customer Service and Appliance Service = 5* Excellent. Needed to have my LG fridge repaired (faulty filter housing). Customer Service rep (Megan) and service technician (Louis) were both excellent. Louis had to make 2 trips because I needed a part. Both visits he was prompt, extremely courteous and friendly, professional and had fridge fixed in a jiffy. Earl B Feiden: Keep Louis - he is a great asset!! Megan was also very friendly and helpful assisting in setting up appointments and in getting manufacturer warranty. Thanks to both of you.
We purchased our KitchinAid dishwasher a couple weeks ago, from EB.F and we couldnt be happier. He was more than couple hundred dollars less than the Big Box stores and delivery and installation was perfect. The delivery and installation guys were great. I have been a KitchenAid dishwasher user for the past 26 years (more than one machine). But this machine is so quiet, that I have to place my hand on the face of the machine to make sure its running. Extremely Happy.
We called Feidens to repair our GE French door refrigerator. It was repaired on 6/17/21. I want to commend Feidens on their excellent response time to our issues and to recognize the Service Technician: Rasheen S for a job well done! He was very knowledgeable and thorough and was able to get our refrigerator back in service. Its been working great! We would not hesitate buy any appliances at Feidens due to their excellent service department! Thank you, Rasheen!
Recently had my ice maker fixed by Louis W. He came and did an eval of what was going on and decided it was burnt out and need to be replaced. He ordered it and said it was out of stock. Earl B called me the next day saying it was in and could be installed when I was available. I was amazed! Best experience and I would highly recommend them.
Great experience start to finish. I found the dishwasher I wanted online, went into the store in Latham and ordered it quickly and easily-plus maybe looked at a few sweet looking gas stoves. Delivery today was perfect. Dave & John called me in the morning with a 2 hours window in the afternoon as requested. Then since they finished another job early they called to see if I was available a bit early!!! I have never had people come and do service work early. I was around and it was spectacular to have a new dishwasher installed before I was even expecting them to arrive. They were also super helpful and reminded me to vacuum out the crud that had accumulated on the floor during the 11 years the old washer was in. Great tip. Thanks gentlemen. Oh, and the new machine has gleaming stainless steel inside and seems to be as good as Id hoped.
The sales and delivery teams at Earl B. Feiden were extremely professional. For dealing with someone over the phone, Zach from the sales team was kind, professional, and patient. I would recommend him as a salesperson to anyone. Dave and John installed my Bosch dishwasher with ease and professionalism. They both made sure that installation was a hassle free process and stayed to ensure that the dishwasher worked properly. Their work ethic is something that I have not seen in a very long time. I would highly recommend Dave and John for installations. Overall I am very pleased with the time and effort Earl B. Feiden placed into the sale and installation of my dishwasher.
Our Stove died yesterday after using the self-cleaning option...top burners would not work and oven door was locked shut.Ben Hunter the service tech came out to fix it, he was very knowledgeable and professional. He was very determined to fix our Electrolux and thankfully didnt give up! Our stove works perfectly now just in time for Thanksgiving!
This is by far the worst company we have ever worked with. We went into the Clifton Park store in November 2019, worked with Dan and purchased a washer and dryer, wine refrigerator, dishwasher and refrigerator. The washer and dryer were delivered and the installation was terrible. The draining hose with too short but instead of using a longer hose, the guys just pulled it as tight as it could go, to the point that it was bent and duct taped it. The wine fridge was delivered next, with a bent and dented door. We sent it back. A second wine fridge was delivered a few weeks later with broken internal trays. We sent that one back. We did not get another replacement for CLOSE TO A YEAR. We continued to reach out to Dan and ask what the status was and he ignored us. Finally, we got a hold of someone else at the store and were informed that our wine fridge had been sitting at the store for who knows how long. The refrigerator and dishwasher were delivered a few weeks after the wine fridge. We didnt have the dishwasher installed because we needed to do a partial renovation on our kitchen so the delivery guys put it in our basement. The refrigerator showed up scratched and dented, and when we pointed it out we were told to take it up with the store. We asked the guys to make sure the fridge was balanced to which we were told of course we will. Instead they left the fridge so horribly unbalanced that it rocked every single time we opened a door. We emailed Dan with a complaint that same day, saying that we wanted to exchange the fridge due to the denting and scratches. We also decided that we were disappointed with the quality of the fridge and wanted to exchange it for a different product, and exchange the dishwasher to match the fridge. He said no problem and that hed look into it. We didnt hear back from him. We continued to reach out, calling the store and emailing, and Fiedens continued to be completely unresponsive. Finally in November of 2020, A YEAR AFTER initially purchased everything, my husband went into the Clifton Park store in person, and spoke with a couple different sales associates. We were assured that they would take care of it right away. Bruce then took on our case. My husband purchased a floor model dishwasher because that was all that was available. Finally, last week our new refrigerator and dishwasher were delivered. The dishwasher has a dent on the side and is missing parts. We contacted Bruce immediately and he has yet to get back to us. Because of the missing parts the dishwasher cant be installed and so has been sitting in our kitchen for the last week. They have our money and we have an appliance that cant be used. This business is completely unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and wherever else I have to to get our case resolved.
My refrigerator was not cooling. Called Earl B Feiden’s for them to repair it. Within a week their technician, Steve, was here. I was impressed with how they came with the part that they thought was the issue, rather than coming to look at the refrigerator and come back. No waiting for a part to come in. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. It was a pleasure to work with both Feiden’s and Steve. I would highly recommend this business.
Our oven stopped working a week before Thanksgiving. Ben from Earl B. Feiden came to service our oven within 20 minutes of me calling! He was excellent and was able to fix it without having to order extra parts. I would definitely use Earl B. Feiden in the future and will ask for Ben.
We needed a part to fix our range which was sparking from the gas burner. Ben Hunter ordered the part quickly & despite his busy schedule, fit us in with an appointment as soon as the part arrived. We were very pleased with the service department of Feiden Appliance, followed up with us with several phone calls, and would highly recommend purchasing from them.
I would have given this far less than 5, due to the ridiculous conversation I had with the lady that called me to make the appointment, but when Ben showed up, it made its way to 5 stars! Respectful, knowledgeable and honest about the repair are key points here.I would recommend this company for a repair. Hopefully, youre lucky enough to get Ben.
Order GE profile appliance for my new house. They confirm it.Technician came to fix it, water coming out from refrigerator is still warm after one glass.Next day I received call from Earl B. Feiden for Invoice, So I told them that I was told that its covered and I dont have to pay for it.The guy on the phone was very disrespectful, told me that I only have two choice, either pay or I will be placed for collection in very rude and insulting tone.So we decided to call our salesperson, she again transferred to the same guy, He was again very disrespectful and insulting to my wife and threatened her to put us on list and they wont come back if we have any issue with appliances.I paid that invoice,I am still getting warm water, I have to deal with it, I am scared to call them now, because I dont know how much they charge?I dont except this from company like Earl B. Feiden.Saw your reply, then you should not tell that there should not be any service charge if there is no manufacturing issue. I am paying anyway, I will deal with warm water coming out from refrigerator, scared of calling you again.Also attitude of your staff to handle customer very rudely.thank you Anyway.
My new Electrolux washer and dryer are the worst appliances I have ever purchased. The washer doesn’t rinse. On hold for 32 minutes, finally reached a person saying they were updating their phone system. Great! Repairman came out, thought the hoses were kinked. Contractor pulled units out. Still no rinse. Repairman again came out, thought detergent tray was defective. Another trip. Still not rinsing; now dryer hit and miss. Another visit by another repairman who said the hot and cold hoses were crossed and the dryer hose was kinked. If the hoses were indeed reversed, wouldn’t my clothes be hot when I take them out?!The WORST people I have ever dealt with!
Great experience from start to finish. We were able to take a look at the refrigerator we wanted at a different store, but decided to support this local business. Made the purchase over the phone and scheduled delivery. They were unable to deliver on the scheduled day but that was an unforeseen circumstance as the truck broke down. They rescheduled for the following day. They arrived within the two hour block. Both delivery men were courteous, wore masks, and were careful removing the old refrigerator out of the house and bringing in the new one.
Christopher the technician came out to inspect an issue with my new dishwasher that Ive had for about 2 months. Ive had previous service visits with the same issue but he was the one to find and address the problem right away. So far everything is running as advertised since the repair yesterday. As a buyer, it makes you feel at peace knowing that Feidens stands behind their workmanship and products they sell you.Chris was polite, very intelligent, informative, confident of what the issue was and repair. I purchased / ordered a 30 trim kit March 27 2021 for a ge microwave purchased from them previously. My salesman is Eric B Latham location and appreciate the effort after several trips to pick up the unit and not having it there ; Eric keeps doing what he can to track the order !
When the Service Department learned that our problem was temperature control in our refrigerator, they assigned Rocky to the job. Rocky came to our home and diagnosed the problem immediately. He determined that the fan motor needed replacement and that the correct motor was in stock. He returned the following day with the motor and installed it, working cleanly, without delay, and demonstrating superior knowledge and experience. He cleaned thoroughly all around the refrigerator and followed up for several days to ensure a sound repair. He was personable and good company while he was with us. It was a very satisfactory experience.
In late April your service technician Louis worked on my almost 10 year old dryer. I was sure that I was going to have to buy a new dryer. That was until Louis came. He quickly figured out the problem and had it fixed in no time (less than 30 minutes give or take). He also took the time to inspect the dryer vent outside, making sure that the dryer was venting properly. I was not expecting that at all. He provided tips on how to continue to keep my dryer in good working condition. He even disinfected it with Lysol after he was done working on it! If anything should happen in the future, Louis will be the first one I call. Thank you for making an unpleasant situation not so bad!
I purchased a beautiful washer and dryer set on Saturday and it was delivered the following Wednesday. We had a small issue with the door close button that evening. The company sent someone right away to fix the problem. I had the pleasure of meeting Louis Weiler today, a repairman for the company. He was fast, efficient, courteous, and kind. The issue was fixed in no time at all and he went above and beyond to explain what he needed to do. Excellent customer service!
I called to cancel a scheduled service appointment. After waiting on hold for 21 minutes, even though I was allegedly next in line, (NOT an exaggeration) I hung up, called the sales department, and asked them to relay the cancellation for me. (They failed to do so, which we found out when the repairman called to say he was on his way.)I understand that customer service has taken a nose dive lately. But even so, and even judged by current standards and reduced expectations, I rate that as a fail.
The service department at Earl B. Feiden Appliance is fantastic. They quickly sent out two technicians, Rocky and his assistant, to fix our freezer. Rocky determined the cause of the problem, patiently discussed options with us, and effortlessly fixed our refrigerator. Feiden Appliance stands behind their appliances. We wouldnt go anywhere else.
I recently had a dishwasher installed. Dave and John did an excellent job. They arrived promptly within the given time frame, removed the old dishwasher, and installed the new one in less than an hour. I would highly recommend Earl B. Feiden to anyone looking to replace/purchase a home appliance.
Called to order 2 replacement knobs for my range. After waiting on hold for 5 minutes (all the while next in line) I hung up and called back, thinking maybe something was wrong with the phone system. Was told that no, wait times were just long, and I would have to wait because were the only place to order parts! Its the internet age...had knobs ordered elsewhere 2 minutes later.Its good to support local businesses, but only when they want the business.
Fantastic experience. What Earl B. Feiden has, besides being small, caring, responsive, and very competitively-priced, is a great showroom. Brian took the time to explain all of the subtle variations of refrigerators and stoves including latest technology features and they were able to push up the delivery of my fridge, much sooner than originally anticipated. I will be purchasing future appliances from them, no question.
We have been doing business with Feidens Appliance four many years. The staff in the showroom is extremely knowledgeable and always make shopping for appliances a comfortable experience. The delivery/install team is great and always provide detailed information about the operation of whatever product you have purchased. Recently, we had an issue with our 2 year old dryer that was not covered by the warranty. I called Feiden’s for service but they could not get us on the schedule for about a week due to unforeseen staff illness. Because I needed repair right away and my work schedule didn’t allow me flexibility with a service date, I called another appliance repair company. This company came out and basically told us that it would probably cost as much to repair the dryer as it would to just replace it. Frustrated by this news, my husband paid a visit to Feiden’s showroom and was referred to the service department manager Brian. To summarize the story-Brian believed our issue was a much less costly repair, sent out a service team the next day (at no charge due to the initial delay), replaced a part that he was able to authorize from the manufacturer as free of charge and in 48 hours we had our dryer back working perfectly again. Feiden’s really went the extra mile for us and provided great customer service—this would never have happened at one of the big box stores—we highly recommend you visit Feiden’s for any appliance needs-we’ll certainly be back again!
Outstanding service by Louis Weiler (Service Technician). My dishwasher required service within a few weeks of installation. Louis was conscientious and considerate; he took his time to determine the problem and easily corrected the issue. Additionally, the call to Feidens regarding this issue was easily handled despite their being short-staffed during this time. The care and concern for both homeowner and technician was clear and evident. I highly recommend Feidens appliance store!
We always enjoy the purchasing experience at EBF Appliances. Our appliance was delivered yesterday but unfortunately it was not able to be installed due to an issue with an electrical outlet. Dave and John were back today promptly at 10 a.m. with the fix and now our appliance is installed. There was no extra charge for having to come back. Dave and John were efficient and polite/friendly. All in all, a good experience 👍
OK, so, they had stock of the appliance I wanted. Thats really where the good ends. The stock was in their warehouse on Long Island. Ordered it on a Wednesday, salesperson told me it would be there Friday. When I called on Friday to ask when I could pick it up, first no one called me back, then when I called again, I was told it wouldnt be there until Monday. I guess over 10 orders were delayed because they couldnt fit on the truck. I never got a phone call explaining the issue - I had to do that legwork myself. Never got a call when it actually arrived. Zero compensation for my troubles, either. Maybe I needed to buy more for them to pay attention, but the whole ordeal was lousy. Felt like I was buying a used car. Not interested in patronizing them again. Hope the unit works - no idea if service is any different.
We called on 8/26/15 for a service call for our GE profile refrigerator which suddenly stopped working. Our call was answered immediately and we had a service call scheduled for the next day. Our service technician, Rocky, was excellent. Since our refrigerator was about 7 years old we wanted to know whether it was going to be worth repairing verses buying a new one. He diagnosed the problem and gave us a price for the repair including parts and labor before doing the work.We were very happy with this service call and would work with Feiden Appliances service department again.
Called with a frost buildup issue. We were able to schedule an appointment promptly. Rocco showed up. He diagnosed the problem immediately. Once parts arrived we were contacted, scheduled the repair. Rocco took care of the issue in short order. Better yet, everything was covered under warranty.Great experience.

Our Dacor oven had stopped working, so through a friends recommendation we contacted Feiden for service. From the initial diagnosis of the problem to the eventual repair (replacement of the ovens computer motherboard), we were impressed with the professionalism of everyone we interacted with. Louis, our service person, was exceptional. He clearly explained our options, kept in communication with us, and was able to fit us in for an appointment the day the part arrived.We will definitely contact Earl B. Rocky, your refrigeration expert aided by his assistant, Dan did a fantastic job replacing a fan motor in my Thermador refrigerator. They took special care in protecting the floor area near the refrigerator. Rocky is very pleasant and answered any questions I had with regard to the repair. I also appreciate his followup phone calls, plus he gave me his direct phone number to contact him. In all the years that I have had repairs to household items; this was by far the best experience. I also loved his down to earth mannerism and sense of humor!
I had my first (and hopefully only) service repair work completed today. Our refrigerators ice maker for the external ice dispenser was not working.Rocco Venaziano, the service repairman, was great in communicating his arrival time and quickly discerned the root cause of the problem. He was very knowledgeable about the refrigerator unit, issue and solution. He work efficiently and was thorough in making sure repair work was completed correctly. He was neat and cleaned up the limited debris/packaging. In addition, he was friendly and professional.I would give this review 5 stars, but work just was completed today and too early to know if fix will hold. However, Roccos service was 5 stars!
I needed a new refrigerator quickly. I went to the big box stores, that was a mistake and a waste of time. Erik understood just what I wanted and knew what was in stock. I got my fridge the next weekday and I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Earl B. Every person I interacted with was friendly and polite. True professionals.
Excellent customer service, competitively priced. We recently purchased a washer/dryer set from Feidens and couldnt be happier. Friendly sales team was very helpful and they werent too pushy (never felt pressured to buy). Installation went smoothly and we even received a follow up phone call the next day to ensure we were happy. Highly recommend and we plan to visit Feidens for our next major appliance purchase!
I contacted Earl B. Feiden in Latham to get the name/email address for the owner so I could privately discuss an issue we have been trying to resolve since last October (regarding a product we purchased). He said they dont t provide e-mails for the owners. I said someone had given it to me in the past but I no longer had it. He said I was given the wrong information. He also said there are multiple owners. I said I was referring to the owner of the Clifton Park and Latham stores. He said, There are multiple owners - brothers and sisters. I asked him his name so I could document who I talked to. Silence. I asked again. Silence. I said, You wont give me your name?? Silence. Then he said, Ill put you through to the general manager. I was on hold for a very long time. Im assuming now, that was intentional. I finally hung up.Sales reps like Mr. No Name, reflect poorly on a businesses.We are STILL trying to resolve the issue with the product. Hopefully I wont have to detail our experience.
Update 8/19/14: while I stand by the original review I would like to be transparent about what happened next. Brad Feiden called my wife after reading the review and said hed like us to call him back. His voicemail was full and we werent able to talk to him. A couple months later be called my wife again (not realizing he had called previously) and said hed like to send someone out to fix the fridge free of charge. We were able to get a very nice gentleman who knew immediately without looking what was wrong with the fridge. The seals were bad and apparently its a very common problem. He replaced them and said theyd only last 6 months before having to be replaced again. He tried to charge full price ($160) before we complained saying that they said theyd work something out. We got half taken off. Im still not thrilled with the service but at least they tried. To their credit, they never asked me to take down this review.Original review:Their service is terrible. We bought a whole set of Frigidaire Professional Appliances and liked the sales experience. After about 9 months our ice maker on the fridge started making bad sounds and we called the service department. No one answered so I left a detailed message with my information. No one called. About a month later the ice maker stopped working and we called again. Same deal, no return call. The ice maker then magically starts working again so there wasnt much urgency on our part to stalk them. Finally it stops working for good another month later and we are determined to get a hold of someone. When we finally do, they inform us our warranty was up 5 days ago and that wed have to pay $90/hr for someone to come fix it. This is especially disturbing because we purchased everything and didnt take delivery for a month. They are doing the warranty from the purchase date which doesnt make sense to me since we didnt actually have the appliances...I understand that we couldve pursued it more feverishly but at what point does it become ridiculous for a business to not return multiple very polite and detailed messages? I dont have time to call them all day long to get someone to answer the phone and help me.Bottom Line: The customer service is terrible, if they dont answer the phone for you dont leave a message... They will not call back. We will not be buying anything more from them, we tried to support small businesses but theres no customer service from this one.

Rocky arrived to our home to diagnose a refrigerator/freezer issue. He was very thorough and professional and spent his time to explain the issue in depth as well as guarantee the work he had done. I highly recommend that you ask for the technician named Rocky!
Today we had Ben, a service technician come to our house to fix the lp conversion on our gas range. Bens courteous and professional demeanor immediately put me at ease. He was extremely knowledgeable and filled me in on the entire process. I was very pleased Ben was our technician.
I purchased over $20,000 worth of appliances for my apartment building. At the time they delivered appliances we were not ready for them to install washers and dryers. Now that we are ready for installation I called them back to help install. Even though I made such a huge purchase they insisted on charging me for each install. I’m desperate to rent these apartments so I agreed. That was a month ago and they still haven’t called me to schedule. I’ve called 5 times and they keep saying they will call me back. I plan to buy a lot more rental properties so it’s confusing as to why they do not value my business.Update to previous post. Once they realized that they failed to schedule they called immediately and came out to deal with issues.

Bought all my appliances from here for our new construction home. Frig, Washer & Dryer, Microwave, Range Hood. Customer service is excellent! I had some issues and there tech Louis was dispatched with new parts. He was personable and professional and highly skilled. Buy from this establishment with confidence.
My family was in search of a stackable dryer and Earl B. Feiden was the only appliance store who would take the time and patience to help and their prices were very good. I was surprised to find out. Once they arrived the delivery men Luke and Anthony from the Latham store found an easier, cheaper way and actually better way to install the dryer. We are so grateful these men were willing and able to take care of all our needs. I love their motto: think outside the box, buy local.
I was concerned about the location of my laundry nook, but delivery of my washer and dryer went as smoothly as can be. John and David worked quickly with no muss or fuss -- they had had some cancellations and took the initiative to call me and offer to come at an earlier time than their window, which was great of them to offer. My salesperson Craig was super knowledgeable and more interested in explaining my options than convincing me I needed something I didnt want. Also, the convenience of walking into a small store with people who specialize in appliances beats walking into a Home Depot or Lowes and not knowing what youre going to deal with.
Earl B. Feiden was wonderful to work with when building our new home. Shawn Canaday was very knowledgeable, and gave very good suggestions for using our new Thermidor appliances to get the best results. Very knowledgeable sales staff. Great advise on appliances. I also had experience with service as a Bosch dishwasher we bought somewhere else had a recall. They sent out a tech just as if we bought it from them and fixed it with no issues. Now that we need a new stove, we are going to buy it here for sure.
I called Earl B Feiden Appliances this morning for refrigerator repair. Rocky and Dan showed up 2 hours later!!! My food didnt spoil! What a relief. Rocky and Dan were very polite and efficient. I was very pleased with the service I received from the Feiden Store. I need my refrigerator service twice and both times, they were wonderful. My recent Service Technician (Rocco V) was great, he even called me back with some helpful information and a phone number for Frigidaire for me!
Beware of sales and they do not own up to their mistakes!This was my 3rd purchase from Earl B Feiden in Latham NY. First 2 experiences were fine and this was for a refrigerator. I went in and asked for a black whirlpool refrigerator and the salesman said they didnt have any in stock and would need to order one, but they had stainless. I said I needed black so we went and ordered one from the book.I had a bad water leak coming from the refrigerator and waited 4 days for delivery, only to receive a stainless refrigerator. It was Friday and I was getting ready for a vacation and explained it wasnt right to the service installer but that I need something installed right away so in it went. Meanwhile, the installer had an issue with the new water hookup and decided to add a new one next to the existing. I called the Latham office on a Friday to explain that I received the wrong refrigerator and was told I had to speak with my sales associate only and to call Saturday.Saturday morning I wake up to water in my basement due to the old water connection being left in place. So now I call asking about 1) a leak in my basement and 2) the wrong refrigerator. The salesman tells me the install was done right and that since I put food in the refrigerator there is nothing he can do. Further the salesman starts to tell me I ordered a Stainless refrigerator, to which I politely say not a chance I would do that since all of my appliances are BLACK and I told you I needed BLACK.The service department came back Saturday and the guy who installed it then replaced the old water line valve with a new one, which isnt right, but at least it isnt leaking right now.The salesman, well he claimed he would contact the Feidens and I never heard back from anyone.Needless to say I now am the proud owner of something that even Lowes or Home Depot would have fixed and that is a sad testament.Ill be shopping elsewhere and certainly not supporting this local establishment in a positive light.
Over the past two years (2011 - 2013) we replaced every major appliance in our kitchen with Frigidaire Professional models for the dishwasher, refrigerator, electric range, and microwave, and purchased all products from the Clifton Park location of Earl B Feiden. I could not be more pleased with the results. I am always willing to do my homework and get the best price and Earl B Fieden gave us the lowest price on all four appliances in comparison to both other local retailers as well as the big box stores.Two weeks ago we upgraded our range and over the range microwave to match the dishwasher and refrigerator we had purchased previously. I felt the delivery and installation service was excellent and professional. Upon using the range for the first time, I noticed that the skillet I had used left significant scratch marks across the glass top surface. I placed a call to the service department in Latham the next day and they scheduled a tech to come out within 48 hours to look it over. The tech (James) was very professional and although he felt the damage was done from the skillet I had used, he agreed to replace the entire glass cook top at no cost. James ordered the part while onsite and was back the install the new cook top less than 2 weeks after his initial visit and had the new top operating in less than 30 minutes.In reading some of the other reviews, I was surprised to read some negative remarks. My experience could not be more opposite. I would highly recommend Earl B Feiden for both price and service.
We had been having problems getting our refrigerator fixed for the whole summer. We could not seem to get beyond the phone calls to get our refrigerator fixed. Once Rocky came to our house to assess the problem, he fixed our refrigerator within the day. He made me feel like he took over the entire problem, figured out the issue and the job was done within 3 hours. He brought Dan back to our house to help him fix the refrigerator. They were both kind and respectful of the issues that we had had up until this point.Thank you Rocky and Dan for getting the job done! You were both fantastic!

2022-02-191000% recommend working with the teams at Earl B. Feiden. We had a horrible experience with a big box store and needed a new fridge. We walked in to check out what was available here and were greeted by Robert.Robert made us feel welcome and walked through many options with us. He listed to our wants and needs for our replacement and found us the perfect fridge. They also price matched local competition.Everyone was amazing from sales to the delivery manager down to the crew on Truck 3 that delivered our Fridge. These delivery guys went above and beyond in my opinion. They took care not to damage anything (which is hard when I bought the largest fridge I could fit) did an amazing job.If you are in the market for new appliances save yourself the time and skip the big box store and go local. They have their own repair team do of something does go wrong you wont be waiting for weeks to get service.

2022-01-24We recently had an issue with a Bosch dishwasher and our technician Samuel was sent by the service department. On both of his visits he was very thorough in analyzing and triaging the E 15 error and water valve issues. He was very helpful and very polite with all the questions and encouraged us to ask any questions we had. He took his time in both analyzing and then fixing our issues. I would highly recommend his services.

2022-01-20The new otr microwave I purchased was defective and still on warranty. The sales and service teams were most helpful and efficient in addressing the issue. Ben, the tech who came out to assess the appliance, was extremely polite, professional and knowledgeable while evaluating and determining the issue. He also called the next day to provide an update and explain the next steps involved to get the unit fixed, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this business and this service tech to others.

2022-06-29We have been working with Earl B. Feiden in Latham for all major appliances since 2003 and the sales team has always been very helpful. We have also had them in for service calls 4 or 5 times over the course of that period and the service team members have always gone above and beyond not only fixing what we called about but also giving very helpful tips on things to be aware of on the appliance being fixed as well as others we have. We could not be happier or more satisfied with them and we highly recommend them. Todays service consultant was Louis and he was wonderful and very informative and helpful.

2021-12-27I am so pleased with the service I received from Earl Feiden. They got me a new washer which fit my needs within 6 days of the old one breaking, which is a miracle with the current supply chain issues. They also advised me to hold off on buying the matching dryer for a few weeks in order to take advantage of an upcoming sale. I couldn’t be happier!

2022-01-25Samuel tested and recalibrated our oven to be more efficient. We were most pleased with the service and knowledge he brought to the job. While we anticipated that we probably needed to replace this 15 year old oven, he convinced us that there was plenty of life left in it. 2022-04-13Samuel just finished replacing the compressor in our LG refrigerator which had stopped working. He had all the components and tools with him on the first call and was able to complete the repair in a timely fashion. He was very professional, explained everything he was changing and repairing, and cleaned up the work area after he was done. Top notch service call!

2021-12-24Our brand new refrigerator was not dispensing water. Samuel came and fixed the problem. He was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. While he was here, he looked at our gas oven and determined some of the issues. Since the oven is the same age as Samuel, we may need a new one. But before we make that decision, Samuel is going to research the cost of fixing it. Samuel went above and beyond to help us. Feiden is lucky to have such a good technician on staff. I would highly recommend Samuel and Earl B. Feiden Appliance.Update: We bought a new gas range. The first day I used the oven, there was a large boom that was fixed by Chris just hours after my call to the store. Chris knew what the problem was immediately and fixed it. 2022-02-02Nice to share a positive review… our fridge was acting up and I had a great service experience. I called Feidens and the person who answered, Brook, was awesome, helping me navigate my options for service visit vs replacement. They sent out a tech, Samuel, the next day. Samuel took the time to run full diagnostics and figure out what was wrong instead of just swapping parts. He fully explained what was going on and made sure he answered any questions I had. Super friendly and professional all around!
