Me and my family are very satisfied with Earth Road Asphalt! They did a great job on our driveway! We would highly recommend them! There crew were very efficient, friendly and cleaned up when they were all done!
I highly recommend this 67 yr old family owned paving company for all of your paving needs. They were prompt in getting back to us, submitting an estimate, and doing an outstanding resurfacing job on our driveway. Everyone involved, from the office, the crew, and Robert, with his clear explanation of services and estimates, were great. It was a positive experience from the get-go. Our driveway looks terrific and is now ready for the onslaught of winter. You can tell that this is a company with high integrity and skill and won’t leave you hanging. Go with this company. You won’t be sorry.
I truly never leave reviews, but I felt it’s a good way to pay back a great company. This is also not a review off the cuff. Earth Road Asphalt paved my driveway early October and did an amazing job. Came right out and did exactly as we discussed. There is no pooling of water and right before they lest they even showed me how they directed the water so it would not pool in front of garage. Out of the 5-6 company’s I called Earth Road gave the best quote and laid it all out for me when they came for the estimate. I highly recommend this company.
Earth Road Asphalt did an excellent job on our driveway!! They were very professional and can quickly and got the job done. We were so happy, we recommended them to do our in-laws driveway. They were very happy with the results as well.
I had my rustic dirt & partial old gravel hill driveway paved by Earth Road Phase I Prep & Brime base in Nov 2019 Phase II final Asphalt May 2020...Robert Edwards was so nice and had great suggestions formy vision! His team did a great job on a pretty big residential project!Between Phase I and Phase II was completed in 5 Days. I had them put acommercial grade drain in and it all turned out 110% PERFECT!Please Contact them for my pictures of project!
I have been using the prestigious Earth Road Inc for years even before it was Earth Road Inc and I must say they ARE THE BEST IN THE INDUSTRY!!!!! Right from the first phone call to set a estimate to the last date of service I was treated with respect and my home has the best looking driveway in my town! I have NEVER had trouble with this company.You get what you pay for!So, as a woman in my 80s living alone, I put all my trust and complete satisfaction in this family owned business. I am a NYS Licensed Engineer retired from a 35 year career with the NYS Department of Transportation. For 20 of those years, I was responsible for the operation, maintenance and repairs of the state highway system in Cayuga and Seneca Counties. In those 20 years, I supervised several hundred miles of asphalt paving projects on the state system.I planned a project to rehabilitate my residential asphalt driveway in Seneca County. It is not a large driveway, but it was not a simple resurfacing project. The driveway was 30+ years old and needed repair tasks prior to resurfacing. The driveway had depressions, high spots, potholes, and edge cracking. I developed a work plan that included milling work, hand patching, hand shimming, paver placed truing and leveling course and paver placed finish course. I met with 5 area paving contractors to review the work.I selected Earth Road Asphalt as my contractor. James Spano met with me to discuss the project. Mr. Spano understood what I wanted done and was willing to do the necessary preparation tasks. He has 40+ years of asphalt paving experience. More importantly, , he has the necessary asphalt paving knowledge and expertise. He told me that he would personally be on site as part of the crew and supervise the project.The Earth Road Company was not the lowest cost proposal, but I was willing to pay extra for the quality of work they are known for. Communication with the company office staff prior to the project was smooth. The crew arrived on the scheduled day. Shortly after the work began,, I knew I had made the correct decision in selecting the Earth Road Company. The crew was experienced, skilled and friendly. Work progressed in an organized and orderly method. During the early preparation stages, Mr. Spano was careful in checking grades and slopes to insure rainfall drainage.I was very satisfied with the attention to details taken in the preparation work. The work effort by the crew on those tasksresulted in an extremely high quality final product. The finish course asphalt mat was tight and smooth. When he submitted his project proposal, Mr. Spano assured me a professional job that would include all the preparation tasks that I requested. He delivered 100% on that commitment. Company was prompt and gave us a fair quote for work to be done. Crew arrived and expeditiously completed all the work and left the area neat and clean. Took precautions to not damage finished floor in garage. I would recomment them without hesitation.

Asked for an estimate to pave a section of lawn (700 sq ft) adjacent to my garage to meet up with existing backtop. Estimator added several hundred square feet to the measurement (985 sq ft to be exact). When questioned I was advised that he would not pave just the area requested to meet the existing black top and would only excavate the existing and repave. This was not discussed in the original conversations or the quote. The quote actually priced an even larger square footage (1300 sq ft) to remove existing and repave. The estimator (Bob) was rude, argumentative and hung up on me. This would appear to be blatant overestimating of the project area to price-gouge customers. I would recommend finding another company that is fair and honest in the estimates.

I just had a driveway completed by Earth road. I was extremely impressed by the job done, materials used, and overall attention to detail. The job completed was a complicated one and the team from Earth road handled it with no issues and most importantly zero seams on my driveway. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the Skaneateles area.
I called about a driveway replacement and set up a time to meet the sales rep never showed up or called to reschedule. I called their office to inquire about our meeting aafter she spoke to the sales rep informed me another rep was on the way. Again, no call no show. I would no recommend. They made me fell like me job doesnt matter...
I dont even know where to begin with the praise for their work!They worked on my driveway five years ago when I bought my business and they recently dug up old asphalt and completely redid my parking lot it is absolutely amazing! I am so impressed with the work. Thank you so very much!!!
Terrible company. Was Spano, mid driveway and parking lot completion changed names and became wifes business. Both jobs had warranties against puddling yet both developed puddling and one property was graded incorrectly so water goes into basement. Went to court and won $5000 judgement yet they never paid a penny!
Wanted to expand my driveway, called for an estimate and the estimator (Robert) came out on schedule. We talked, he took measurements and said he would email me the estimate. Never received the estimate. Called his cell and left VM, no response. Called the office and left VM, no response. Horrible customer service.

Earth Road excavated my old driveway (or what passed for a driveway) and replaced it with a new, level, asphalt driveway, with which I am well pleased.. I was impressed by how quickly they were able to complete the job, their attention to detail, and not least of all, by the professionalism and courtesy of the crew who performed the job. They spoke politely, kept me informed, and even offered to perform a couple of tangentially related tasks, saying, Its no problem. Id be glad to help. I strongly recommend this company.

2022-05-04We had Earth Road put the top coat on our driveway. We were very satisfied with their work. I was especially impressed with the attention to detail. I was also impressed how respectful they were of our property. They cleaned up when finished to the point that other than our beautiful new driveway, the tape at the end of our driveway and the lawn sign, you would never have known they were there. It was so good to deal with such a good company. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for this type of work. Well done....

My husband and I had different ideas of what we wanted and Robert took the time to answer all our questions, work with our budget, and even make suggestions that kept both Hubby and I happy. Our texts and calls were always answered quickly and we were extremely pleased with all steps of the process. Crew worked quickly, efficiently, and paid attention to detail . Also need to mention that the crew was very pleasant to work with. Nice to see happy employees!

2020-06-02One word describes Earth Road Awesome! From the start to the finish we had a great experience. The crew that came out to do the dig out to the paving crew were all courteous, professional and able to answer any questions we had. We had gotten 4 different quotes and Earth Road was the last, which although slightly more expensive, the outcome was more than we expected. I wouldnt hesitate to to recommend them to anyone.

2021-05-05Would recommend this company 10 out of 10 times! The office staff is super friendly! Dan was incredible! He was very patient with my indecisiveness on what type of driveway I was going to do. Gave me multiple quotes, answered every text, every question, was on time with our appointments. When the job was complete, I wasn’t home, so he sent a picture and asked me to call so he could go over all of the instructions on caring for the driveway for the next month. I was shocked as to how quickly they were able to get it all done! 1.5 days in and out. Here at 7am to get started. Absolutely wonderful company! I am SUPER excited to not end directions to our home with “the house with the really sh*** driveway”. 😂😂. It looks amazing and thank you all so so so much!!!!!

2021-09-19We had Earth Road Asphalt install a paved driveway for us. Mr. Spano was quick to come out to our house, gave us a very reasonable estimate and was onsite both days the work was being done. We were extremely impressed with how meticulous both the excavation crew and paving crew were with our new driveway. They were very careful paving up to our garage and always kept everything neat and tidy as they were working. We cannot say enough good things about this company and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for professional driveway work.

2021-02-11I hired this company to repave my driveway. They were quick to respond to my initial inquiry, gave a competitive quote and had solid communication from start to finish. They were flexible and worked with my time schedule to put the initial base coat down, resolving the standing water issues we had on the existing driveway. The top coat will go down this spring. The team showed up on time the day of the job, were very efficient and did a great job. I have no complaints and would recommend them to anyone needing similar work done!

2020-08-26My driveway was in pretty rough shape. Earth Road came out and resurfaced it. They did an amazing job. They got me on the schedule 10 days after I paid my deposit. The entire crew was courteous and good at what they do. They finished same day and I couldnt be happier. It looks so good! Thank you Earth Road for my beautiful new driveway.

2020-07-22Very pleased with the re-surfacing and addition that Earth Road did to our driveway. We had four companies provide estimates. Earth Road was not the lowest, but was competitive. What convinced me to hire them was that during the estimate Jim explained every step. of the process clearly like I was a student and was the teacher. I knew exactly what to expect. They showed up as scheduled and performed the job as promised. The entire crew was polite and professional. The driveway looks amazing, and the improvement in the curb appeal of the entire property was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend them without reservation.
