Great service. Our moving team arrived 30 mins early, much to our delighted surprise. Frazier Daquan, and victor, came motivated and eager to work. We didnt give them an easy job; we moved from a fourth-floor apartment unit in a building with no elevator! These guys made the moving and lifting look easy. Overall, great service, and solid pricing. Would recommend East Coast Moving.
I really regret using this company. I paid double the quote they gave me because they said I had too much stuff after they loaded the truck. I emailed them changes beforehand and they never responded. The movers never came when they were supposed to and they will blame it on you. When they came up to drop off my stuff they tried to charge more. Another company was dropping off my stuff and they had a different contract. The movers themselves are very very nice. But I’m sure they don’t get paid well to work so hard.
IF WE COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS WE WOULD !They are in the middle of moving my family friend to Maryland and have been nothing but a nightmare since they loaded her belongings. My family is livid.Be careful when booking with them because they will double their price after they load your belongings and then say it would be 900$+ dollars to unload your stuff if you decline. On top of miscommunication with the arrival time being 7-8 am and excuses of truck breaking down, being 80 miles from location. Then now being hours away. SAVE YOUR MONEY !
Do not use this moving company!! The movers showed up 50 minutes late. Then they wanted to charge me extra for wrapping the tv. I didn’t mind the extra charge. But what I did mind is the disrespect that I received from the supervisor Pablo. I called him to explain that you should explain to the customer that there is additional charge for wrapping the tv since I have already informed them that I had tv in the initial estimate. Then he insults me by calling me stupid. What kind of supervisor insults customers like that!! So unprofessional and very disrespectful! Don’t do business with this company!!
East Coast Moving is the second moving I have ever used and the experiences between the two were totally different. My experience with East Coast Moving was a complete nightmare. I would never use them again. #Bait and Switch pricing #Poor Service #wrong delivery location #Wrong delivery date #Rude employeeThe details are to long for me to post here. But feel free to DM me for the details if you wish. But, if I were you, I would just use a different company.
Excellent service The workers worked so hard and were so cautious with my possessions that neither my goods nor the walls were harmed. They were both extremely kind and professional men. I would recommend this company to everyone. I will employ them for any future moves.
Worst moving company in the industry, they give you a quote of 3k and charge over 6k, they assembled the furniture HORRIBLY, 75% my plates, mugs - dishes were broken, they came EXTREMELY HIGH right about to faint. i live on the first floor (no need for elevators or stairs) and they told me to pay a fee of $250 for the “long carry”. before i booked them i read the reviews and told the salesman i don’t want to do business with them, and he promised me GOLDEN DEAL, and it all turned out to be FAKE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
Spoke with Antonio and gave as much information as possible regarding a quote. Came to an agreed number that worked for both parties. Day of pickup, they load up my stuff and the number is $800 over the quote. When I asked for clarification as to why, the foreman told me to call the office. I called the office and asked for Antonio, I was told “I don’t know, I’m not there. Sort it out with them” (after the foreman for the job told me to call Antonio).Fast forward to last week. I called and asked for someone to explain why there was extra cubic feet, and spoke to David. He told me “I’ll look tomorrow and let you know”. Two days later I have to call and leave a voicemail asking for an update. The next day, the office manager; Irene calls me and explains it, and offers a discount due to the confusion, which I do appreciate, however I shouldn’t have to ask 3 different people, get rude remarks, or be completely ignored when I’m asking a fair question. Then I confirm the delivery date (the 15th), and after the rep, and foreman both stated, “the truck will be here around the 11-12th, load up and be there the 15th”, fast forward to Thursday and I get “truck should be here this weekend”. Sunday I call and get “truck won’t be here until Tuesday, so it won’t be to you until Wednesday or Thursday. The driver told us Friday night, but I was already gone.” The estimate and contract both state “all deliveries are estimated, and not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate your request”. Yet nothing was done to accommodate my delivery request. Last night, the driver calls me and lets me know “I should be there between 5:30-7:30am”. Then doesn’t call me at all. I call around 9, and get “hey we should be there in the next hour.” This is day 2 of the original 1 day I took off from work for this. Shows up around 9:42, brings everything up, and then tries to tell me “oh there’s a fee for us bringing your stuff up in the elevator”.My contract and the final balance sheet both say “a $75 fee occurs for every flight of stairs after the 1st” nothing about a fee for using the elevator. Then he tried to tell me the total due is $991. About $75 over the balance the office sent me 3 days ago. When I ask if the $75 is the elevator fee he’s trying to charge, he goes “no, that’s without the fee”. So I pull up the balance from the office that says “final balance $927.51” and tell him, that’s what im paying. Then they unpack everything and try to leave without putting my furniture back together. I have them put the bed together because the contract states “taking apart of and reassembly of furniture are included in price”. They don’t put any other furniture today, leave all the garbage from the stuff they wrapped up (tape, paper, cardboard) in a pile and says “oh we don’t take the garbage”..even when it’s yours? And then goes “so all that’s left is the tip”. I’m sorry, you don’t communicate, try to tack on fees to my face, leave garbage all over, don’t put my furniture together and then demand a tip? I’m sorry but nothing about my experience with this company shows me they care about their customers beyond the $$.Poor communication, poor manners, poor time management, rude, underhanded methods. 0/10. I wouldn’t even dream of using this company again or telling anyone about them.
Talk about Fraud! This company is Bad Biz! they more than doubled my hard quote after giving them specific dimensions and size of our storage units, they still ended up leaving 30% of our belongings behind and we had to take a trip back to get our stuff ourselves. They wanted an additional $1300 to grab the 30% of our stuff in addition to the doubled increase in price!MANY MANY BROKEN ITEMS! Valuables, fine china, records...BROKEN!Boxes looked like they where tossed off a bridge prior to delivery! They where late by 5 days on delivery and once they arrived you can tell the truck was not professionally loaded since they had plenty of space for the rest of our stuff they decided to leave behind!East Coast moving is horrendous. the manager/ owner wouldnt get on the phone with me or call me back not once! I only spoke to a Mike and an Irene that were not very helpful unless it had to do with payment! They should not be operating any type of biz!Worst experience! ZERO stars!
THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!!!!!! I IMPLORE YOU NOT TO TRUST YOUR BELONGINGS TO THESE PEOPLE!!! Would give no stars if it were possible. My familys experience is almost identical to PONG C. (rvw from BBB). My son was quoted $1100 (not an estimate a hard quote) to move from Brooklyn back to Atl. On the day of the move it doubled to $1800. Also $150 for stairs which would be fair except it was not advised until DAY OF MOVE, so another hidden predatory practice. This behavior is predatory because people are flustered, tired, & generally on time crunches to move. Therefore, not in a position to haggle ESPECIALLY once the truck is loaded. With a reputable company you have the amount/fees, and any contingencies are explained, before they start. The square footage is arbitrary because my son moved zero pieces of furniture only kitchen wares, clothing, a heat press & vinyl cutter. Then move was promised to arrive on June 1 from a 5/29 pick up, it arrived on Jun 6th. This was after several calls from us to them, not the other way around to keep us informed. We had to call from different numbers to get answers once they became familiar with a number. To make matters worse things were open, broken, and one suitcase of expensive designer & collectible sneakers was completely missing. My son had to help them move the items off of the truck because they were being so careless. They also ultimately left without having him sign for receipt of goods. They asked for water as a diversion that they were taking a quick break and left with no notice. Which to me is direct admission that they are well practiced at the hustle, because had they asked for the signature he would have inventoried and noticed the missing items! I believe & want to investigate/prove they string people along with ever changing delivery dates, so that they can take your things to their warehouse and decide what they would like to keep/sell. What is left is treated with the upmost lack of care. If you move with this company, you will be sorry! Any five-star reviews are likely fraudulent. The heat press and vinyl cutter pictured cannot be used because the legs are actually broken and bent beyond repair. His boxes were visibly opened as what is shown. He also received a box of another person’s belongings: Police badge for US Recovery Agent along with some other very personal effects like pictures, rosary, baby keepsakes, & tapes. So, disheartening because a move is expensive & stressful enough as is to then be taken advantage of.
I recently did a move from NYC to Brooklyn and used this company i was referred to them through a friend who also used them in the past. There prices were affordable and the guys who came to move me definitely knew what they were doing. They packed all my fragile items up and dissembled my stuff as well. The move took 8 hours from, start to finish and I was all moved into new place with no damages at all. I was very happy with the service they provided with last minutes notice. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for affordable and reliable movers. Thanks East coast movers!!
This company help my family move or three bedroom two bath house in only a two week notice, very timely fashion. I also told them the quote I heard from other moving companies and not only did they match that but went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend to anyone who plans to move residential, though they may move commercial as well.We all love you Adam
I hired East Coast Moving because they were recommended by a colleague who had a very good experience with them, and my wife and I were not disappointed-this move went easier than we could have hoped. From the initial call to the moment the movers left our new home, we felt we were greatly taken care of by people who are committed to their work. Everyone was polite and professional and they dutifully moved boxes into their respective rooms and re-assembled furniture; they were even patient enough to re-arrange furniture after theyd set it down (since we hadnt thought ahead of time how we wanted the couches arranged). We were very pleased with this company and If we ever move again we will definitely use them. I highly recommend them .
If I could give no stars I would. Terrible company. They scammed thousands out of me by giving me the wrong quote then telling me it was going to be thousands more after they had my stuff and refused to put my stuff back. My furniture came with missing parts, scratched and damaged. Some items didn’t even make it. And worse, they left damages in my brand new home with holes in the walls from their unprofessional people. If I could sue them for damages I would because they still have not even gotten back to me on my insurance claims. They are a fraudulent company and I hope no one ever falls for their scam. I wish I could report them for their fraudulent business.
Great hard workingmen movers they moved us 2 bedroom from Brooklyn to silver springs MD and my daughters move to Baltimore-You could honestly see they care about the furniture eveThey did everything they were supposed to and even removed the garbage which was greatly appreciated. put all the boxes in the new rooms and took the time to reassemble the twin bunk beds, headboards/platforms etc..- was such a relief we took the flat price over the hourly rate even though the movers where prepared and fast just- lot of driving.price didnt fluctuate one bit and that what i explained to Danny. ZaFa/Victor/James- (movers was great)My everything was all positive from thereThank-you East Coast
Moving is hard. There are always so many things to do and you can’t possibly carry all your furniture by yourself. That’s when the moving companies come in. It’s a hard job- moving things all day long. But somehow the guys from EAST COAST MOVING manage to throw a smile while carrying heavy pieces of furniture. They work very fast and I mean very fast! They finished loading everything from our 3-bedroom apartment in just an hour. The delivery was made on time and the men unpacked everything. They put all the boxes in the right rooms and they asked whenever they were in confusion. It didn’t even cost me that much for the amazing services I received. These guys make miracles happen!
They are horrible! Do not hire them! They more than doubled my estimate after the truck was loaded with no warning, they lost 2 boxes and damaged my furniture beyond repair. I moved from NYC to FL, they got here late and the 2 movers got into a fist fight and I was left with one mover to unload and assemble furniture. They were very dismissive of my concerns. BE CAREFUL!!!
I used them to do my move out of state during covid at its peak, I was very worried in the beginning but they made me very comfortable from start to finish. They were prepared, on time, very professional and did my move in a timely fashion. I even moved my vehicle with them for a great price. They definitely lived up to their name thats for sure. I would for sure recommend them to anybody moving in the future. A++++ guys!!! Thank you for a swift moving experience guys.
Gave a quote for $1298, end up charging $2318. The sales guy Danny was a complete scam never trust what he say! The contract clearly stated pay balance “upon delivery” but they claimed in their dictionary “delivery” meant “before unloading” and forced us to pay full amount. We payed thinking we have little babies, and hoped the nightmare of dealing with them to end soon. However they refused to move boxes and furniture to the right rooms. They unnecessarily dissembled our babies cribs but refused to reassemble. Later when I tried to assemble that night I noticed one screw cap was missing. Babied cried very late into the night because they didn’t have a proper crib to sleep in. We also noticed one of the wheel of the chest was broken. It was such a big suffering from what they did to us that we decide to bring them to small claim court.Even if you are super rich and don’t care being blackmailed, you should still not use them as this company is dishonest, and gave you even more trouble post delivery regardless of how much you pay!
Wish the office would communicate the delivery a little bit better but the pick up and the delivery went great - so much more affordable than other movers going to GA. Thank you East Coast Moving- 1st time a mover actually did right by me and my family- Eternally grateful even though i know we ended bring much more than originally anticipated
They showed up right on time and had everything packed, moved, and unpacked very quickly! Workers were super friendly, respectful, and careful. They did not try to charge us for anything unnecessary, only a few boxes that we needed, so the end price was essentially the same as our quoted price. Seriously made the move so much easier, especially with moving couches and dressers into an apartment and they placed the large items exactly where we needed them to be. They were also very courteous and safe regarding COVID, the workers wore masks the entire time and kept their distance. Super thankful for their help and would recommend them to anyone moving! Thank you.
F....,king Nightmare and scam of a companyNever ever use this moving company. it was such a scam. What a nightmare... the most unprofessional organization Ive ever used. I will be following up with BBB. Quoted me in Oct for the exact contents, in a signed quote, on text and guaranteed me a deliver date. Never followed up on the move until I called them the day before and was told they could not deliver on the date that was marked on the contract. I basically had no option but to continue to use them, even through we had a signed agreement . They pulled up to the house 2 hours late , come into the house with no mask, looked at the contents and then wanted to double the price. The driver claimed, that the contents, that were listed on the contract would not fit in the CUBIC feet space that was contracted....they were the ones that told me the contents would fit in the space before i signed the agreement. They are supposed to be the experts. The driver wanted to double the price and that is all he cared about. I asked him if I could call his supervisor, who I had been speaking with to insure my move was being scheduled. We reviewed again, on the phone, which completed matched what was on the agreement and what i was moving. I handed the driver the phone. He spoke to the supervisor, and handed me the phone. The Supervisor, Irene, then told me she would call me right back. ...she never called back. The driver said are you willing to pay the price, and I said no as Im waiting to hear back from your supervisor . He started to walk out of the door, and I said.. where are you going ..Im waiting on a phone call back.. the driver said thats the price and if you are not willing to pay it, we are leaving . I called back the supervisor and said your drivers are now leaving.. she could care less. She said if you are not willing to pay more for more storage on the truck .. and before she finished I hung up. its a complete scam.. from start to finish. She also tried to blame the sales person who first gave me the quote..
Easy and simple process. I told them I need a move done from Hunts Point, Bronx and Im going to Jacksonville, Florida. Got my quote for a 2 bedroom apartment move. They came with professional movers who came equipped with tape and boxes, everything they needed. I had extra stuff I decided to add to the move and they were accommodating. Inspecting boxes on arrival nothing was missing and the final quote was lower than the original quote they gave me. Overall great job! LOVE THIS MOVING COMPANY!
I hired East Coast Moving and Storage to move me from Long Island NY to Naples Florida. The estimate I was given was based on my explaining to them over the phone how much of my property I was moving. My guess was exactly accurate ! When they arrived at my home the price SUDDENLY QUADRUPLED !!!! It was an absolute heist !!! I will never use this company again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone !! I will also be notifying the Better Business Bureau about this company.
They do a great job! I am moving everything in my 2 bedroom house and my family from Baton Rogue, Louisiana to Hialeah, Florida due to my job relocating. So Erica gave us the quote and we did some comparison to other moving companies and decided to move with this company instead of the other competitors. So Victor and the other movers came and put everything in their truck. Most of it was prepackaged by us to speed the process. They did the rest and theyre really good at what they do! The quote never changed and everyone was nice and professional! The Move didnt become complicated thanks to this moving company! I recommend getting your move done with them.
All my furniture looks great! No issues. Nothing broke. They helped my family relocate from our 2 bedroom home to our new 2 bed home from Columbia, South Carolina to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Just like why move I was worried there may be issues like a quote change but that didnt happen as Danny did tell us nothing will change. Noticed everything was packed carefully. Not a bad job that Victor and the other movers did! I choose this company for any move!
This Amazing company did a great job for the move! Did some research and did a great job! Danny gave us the quote for our move from Philadelphia, PA to Camden, NJ. He assured us the quote will not change and turns out later on he is right! Rocky and the other movers are doing a great job! They were careful and they were on time for everything and they’re good at packaging everything. They take the careful time necessary to make sure my stuff is safe to. Overall I do recommend getting your move done with this company.
Overall great experience with the move! My quote for the 2 bedroom house move was very fair! All the way from Edison, New Jersey moving to Waterbury, Connecticut. I thought they wouldn’t do the move but they worked with us. We called them and many moving companies up. We got a quote from Erica who assured us it’ll be a safe move and the quote will never change. Seems like she was right cause it did not. They’re good with protecting my belongings. They are careful. I recommend moving with them!
I recommend them, they did it again!! They moved my stuff before and they did another great job again with a local move. Jumped from rental to rental a couple times and one time with east coast moving and they did a great job helping me relocate to a new home I bought! As usual they have great quote for the move, this time with some more furniture. This company does satisfy! They’re always careful with my belongings. They’re professional throughout the entire process.
I really do recommend moving with this company! They offer a lot of value for your buck! So Im coming from Jersey City, New Jersey to Norfolk Virginia and I looked for a moving company that can help do this move. Its a 4 bedroom move. Not a lot of furniture as we shipped out some things already to simplify our move and they helped packed some things as well. We got a quote from tracy when we called. James and other movers with the company are all on time and they brought everything all in one piece. Not that bad. Nothing broken. I highly recommend them!
NYC- to Providence RI with a stop in BOSTONI had a local but significant move, with two pickups and 2 delivery of large and small furniture as well as boxes, lamps, shelves, bedding, etc., all within NYC. The East Coast team - Zack S, Mitchell l and Danny l were all totally competent, thorough, informative, courteous, careful and extremely professional. They came early, totally prepared with more tools, equipment and supplies than the job actually required, and knew exactly the best way to package every item. They also cleaned up completely after each stop. I would request them all again in a heartbeat, and will recommend them as highly as I can to anyone who asks.we cant wait to move to Florida next year and its so worry-some knowing i have a mover already planned- that is fair costed- not going to tell me want i and to hear and really treats my belongings as if were his own and you can tell by the way they work. There WERE NO MONEY OR NEGOTIATION GAMES- (had a previous moving nightmare years ago)EAST COAST has earned my respect as well as my dedication, to the point where I have no interest or need to investigate any alternative movers again! (Thank you for that!) And Zack as the team Foreman, excels at everything he does - including his courtesy, professionalism and respect in dealing with his own team as well as his customers. He is an absolute pleasure to work with. The companys CAN DO attitude shows throughout the work these men performed. In addition, Hector, in Sales, was extremely helpful, as was IRENE WAS AMAZING FROM LOGISTICS AND COMMUNICATION ASPECT. in Customer Success, especially in providing the COI as needed.I recommend East Coast Moving unconditionally to anyone requiring such services.
My mother contracted a long distance move from the. Bronx to my new home in Florida. She was given a quote for 1,249.05 dollars. She gave a 100.00 deposit to hold my move day leaving a balance of 1149.05. The move entailed a stop at a storage facility to pick up a full living room set including a coffee table and 2 end tables, an 8 by 10 area rug, and a wooden bed frame. They then met my mother at her Bronx apartment to pick up 12 per packed boxes. The first thing that went wrong is that after booking her move for 9/30/19 they called to reschedule for another date saying that they didnt realize it was a holiday. This was an inconvenience but She rescheduled for 10/6/19. After meeting me at the storage unit to pick up the furniture they Went to meet my mother in her home for the boxes. The movers started to try and charge my mother 800.00 dollars more stating that there were stairs, had to park several blocks away, and that my things were taking up more space then anticipated. She refused to pay them more and got on the phone with the company while they were in her apartment home. After several phone conversations they took her things and accepted her check for the balance on the contract for 1149.05 dollars which she wrote paid in full on the memo portion of the check. They deposited the check and got their money 2 days later. Today 10/17/19 she received a phone call from the company saying that they will not deliver her stuff to its final destination in Florida if she doesn’t pay them an additional 800.00 dollars. They are holding her belongings and trying to extort her. She is 63, retired, and living on a fixed income she would have never agreed to an additional 800.00 dollars. It isnt her fault the did not estimate the adequate space needed in fact she was also suppose to move a 60 inch flat screen television and didnt. There were actually less things out on the truck than listed on the contract so they really did a poor job. They are the professionals not my mother. They should not have taken my check and my things on the truck and try to extort her later. She paid the amount on the contract and they need to hold up their end. This is a breech of contract. She wants her things to be delivered in perfect condition asap. How dare a company try to take advantage of an older person. She almost had an asthma attack and her pressure went way up due to this frustration. She wants her belongings. She paid them and they accepted it. They need to complete the job.
East Coast Moving are so unprofessional. They gave us a hard quote over the phone for a move. They were given a full list of inventory, I even reached out to them and resubmitted some more things. I received (2) invoices. When the driver arrived at our apartment we were charged almost $1500 more. Thankfully the driver told us that we were only being charged for 3ft of the truck in the invoice we were given. They wanted to unwrap our TVs and wrap them up themselves and charge us $69 each tv. When I called to speak to The manager, she had an attitude as if I was bothering her. She didn’t give me an explanation for why they didn’t quote us correct. She simply asked to speak with the driver. They didn’t want to give us our deposit back even though it’s their fault we cancelled.Save yourself the headache and DO NOT book with these people.
Amazing move! Durham, North Carolina to Richmond Virginia and with a good rate for a 1 bedroom move! Danny gave a quote that I think was slightly below some competitors. Zack and the other guys are a great team of careful movers. They are extra careful with anything that’s breakable. In general they seem to prioritize their safety which is great! There was no issues with the move or any change of rate. They’re careful with the timing as well. They don’t unsafely rush and that’s fine. I recommend moving with these guys!
Please do not use this moving company. They quoted a price over the phone and I told them I wanted them to come to my home so that they can see everything and give me an accurate quote. The man that came told me he worked for East Coast but later found out he was the owner. He quoted a price which was higher than the phone quote which was fine. The move when they were filling the truck the driver came to me and said my stuff is over the estimate and it was going to cost me just about double the price. I called and spoke to the man that came to my house and he said you must have snuck more stuff in after he left. I took him throughout my house and showed him EVERYTHING that was coming with me. I told him that I’m not paying double the price and he said I can have them unload the truck. They had me at that point as I already closed on my house. When they arrived at my Florida home boxes were broke, and smashed. They ruined 2 pieces of furniture and after many phone calls that I made trying to be reimbursed they said they had to talk to the owner but the owner I found out was the one that I was talking to and he was the one at my home. After almost two months they said they would give me $100 for the two pieces of furniture that they broke. I fought and fought with them but they would nit budge. DO NOT use this company they are absolutely ROBBERS, DISHONEST, SLOPPY and very UNPROFESSIONAL!!!$$
So the move was completed yesterday with this company. I called them up to get an estimate for a move from our 1 bed apartment in Astoria, Queens to 2 1/2 bedroom house in New Brunswick, new Jersey. Tracy was nice to help. Was concerned it will be a huge rate but it is not. The service paid for itself overall! So they came to look at everything to give a proper estimate and when it came to the move, they were good at keeping track of everything in every room. They’re good at watching how they pack things. In the end it was a smooth experience and I recommend moving with them!
I recently used East Coast Moving for a move from Staten Island to Sunny Isle, FL. was bit hesitant w some review but They were AMAZING. I had a very big move, 4 bedrooms. Danny was on top of everything with me from day one. East Coast did a free on-site estimate which solidified the quote. The day of the move they were there as scheduled, respectful and courteous. They handled my belongs with care and packed the truck with precision. We did leave the fragile items to them (was extra$$ to pack) but nothing broke. All in all an excellent experience. Highly recommend East Coast Moving
Not bad at all. I chose this company to help us with our move! I love the quote that Stacy gave us. Moving from Orlando, Florida to Jersey City, New Jersey was a breeze with the help of James and other movers that helped that day. They helped pack everything. I helped a bit too even though it wasnt needed as we already had some things prepacked. They made it there without any delays. Theyre good at loading the truck and to my shock, the quote never changed! A great moving experience!
They are the real moving pros! Moving the 3bed home to Queens, NY from Atlanta, Georgia cant be done on your own easily so I got the help of this company and its the quote they gave me that made me consider them. Narrowed from my companies and this is my 2nd move in general but not with them. Their attention to detail and carefulness with my belongings and their safety is amazing. Love the work they do and I recommend considering em for your moves!
East coast moving did a great job! Im moving from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Miami, Florida. This is my first big move and this company, with their expertise, did their job In moving! Called them and Tracy picked up and assured me there will be no issues with the price or anything. Thought there may be a problem but there wasnt. David and the other movers came by and packed everything carefully. We packed some things as well to help them out a bit. Everything was packed into the trucked and arrived with no price change or anything to the price for the move that they gave us. I recommend moving with this company, theyll do a great job!
A great move with this company. Great movers, James and everyone. Tracy gave us the quote for our move to Washington, DC from Durham, North Carolina. 2 bedroom move of our stuff. Everything is carefully packed and handled professionally. No issues or price change. Everything arrived in one piece. I recommend moving with this company as they’re proven to be beyond value with their competitive rates.
Love this company! Amazing work and team, moving with them was great. Love the rate for our move from Boston Massachusetts to Edison, New Jersey. It’s a bit of a stretch of a move but they were able to do it. Recently it snowed but they still made it safely and on time! 4 bedrooms worth of furniture. Moved this time to a 3 bedroom apartment so a slight squeeze. Did get rid of some furniture prior to the move, but yeah they helped and they’re careful and professional. Love the work!
Not that bad for a moving company. Got the quote. Rocky and the other movers are nice and are pros at what they do. Moved from Southern New Jersey to washing heights in Manhattan in NYC. Apartment move from 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom due to my job. I got a great quote. But I compared it and chose to move with this company and I recommend moving with them!
This company is a fraud. For moving from New York to Florida, they gave us a price of $1100 . On the day of the move, they told us it was $1600+ .I asked them to put my furniture back in my apartment and give me my money back. We ended up settling for $1400+. The worst part is I bought a ticket to get to Florida for the delivery date, and there werent any furniture. When I called, they told me that it wouldnt be there for another week. They are the absolute worst Moving company. Trust me the worst. Dont use them. I wish I could give them negative 10 stars.
These are expert movers! With great pricing I chose them and they helped me move from Elmhurst Queens going upstate to Buffalo New York. They came with the right amount of boxes and even planned out how much they need. Everything safely arrived, and they even helped unpacking and placing things the exact way I want. They did a great job and I will recommend them!
These movers were absolutely amazing, even though the weather and traffic was bad but these East coast pros, made my 3 bedroom house disappear in matter of hours.Everyone was very professional and glad to see delivery was on time. so far no damages since everything was packed pretty well which they did charge for. communicating with office and dispatch was very pleasant and was always updated. all in all very happy- would recommend to friends/family
This is a move in progress NJ-NC. Started 5/21 in NJ, the 5 guys that showed up to put everything on the truck were fine, not good or great just fine because they complained 3/4 of the time. The lead essentially told me my estimate was cute but the real price is 3X THE ESTIMATE &70% was due right then and there in cash(this I did not know) He then tole me delivery is typically 3 days after pick-up sometimes 5... Day 4 came I reached out to dispatch again to be told theryre loading your stuff in Florida ...Day 5 of the delivery comes and goes and no word from dispatch (she was ooo then on vacation) Spoke with another customer service representative who said very plainly, theyre loading your stuff in the truck and your delivery #2 in charlotte tomorrow (sat 5/30) expect them btwn 12 & 4pm. No truck Saturday, contacted the female dispatch again, explained the situation and she asked If I had spoken to someone in the office😒. So here we are CLUELESS as to when our things will arrive and what should have been a limited stress experience is turning out to be hellish... Ill keep updating this review until we receive our items.
I had a bunch of music stuff placed in a basement that I wanted to get out. Few guitars, a drum set, a grand piano, stuff like that. I was looking for specialized movers and they catered to my specifics, so I chose them. The foreman inspected the instruments and then a few packaging additions were made. I was apprehensive of the handling right from the start, and they assured me my stuff was in safe hands. I was a little irked with the costs but after they transported the items without a scratch, I didnt mind the extra precautions. Satisfied!
Theyrexanother good long distance moving company. Theyre well organized, gave us free supplies for the move. Friendly movers like David and the rest of them helped a bit with packing as well. Theyre professional. Im moving to Springfield, Massachusetts to a 1 bed home from a 2 bedroom apartment. Didnt have a lot of furniture to begin with so this worked out very well. They got a bit late to check everything out but made it early in Massachusetts and finished the move a bit early too. They explained their reasons and they did overall great.
Moving with them was a breeze! They’re on time with everything, in fact a bit early. The fair rate is fair. Beats the competition. They’re careful with the furniture and they take safety seriously with themselves which is huge for business. They don’t do a rush job. They do great work relocating my house from Port Washington, NY to Huntington, NY. Local move but I could do it myself and this moving company offered the best quote compared to other local movers.
From the initial phone call with them explaining the services they offered to the move itself was amazing. They were wery frendly we felt comfortable with them and they made us feel like family, they did exactly what we asked them to do and and they did an excellent job wrapping our furniture and nothing was damaged or missing. I highly recommend them.
Extortionist. The actual movers were great people and professional but the business HORRIBLE! They misquote your item size on the low end to get your business ($1690 out of state move) and then put your stuff on the truck and tell you your items take up more space than the quote so they have to charge you for that (Mine went up to $3,000 and all I had was a 1 bedroom!) I understand quotes are not exact, I was VERY meticulous about reporting each item because I thought maybe the previous reviews had more items then they reported. We were even willing to pay 2-300 more, but not $1300 more. The dispatcher told us if we didnt pay that rate we had to pay $500 for them to take it off the truck. He was very rude to his staff. THEN the dispatcher told the guys to put our stuff on the street if we didnt pay in cash. We live on private property and called the police and thankfully they were forced to bring it back upstairs. DONT USE THEM, Business practice is to extort you for as much as you allow. Even one of the guys mentioned this happens all the time and they dont get tipped because of it. Dont be the next victim!
Im moving inland with my parents for their retirement and I got to take care of this move for them. I chose this company due to the quality of service they really seem to deliver. Speaking over the phone and getting is the quote I couldnt believe it. Most other movers were giving me higher quotes but this one really cuts them. On the way to Northampton, Pennsylvania they got the job done. No scratches even on boxes. They even dusted clean the areas and prepared the floor and walls to prevent scratches. They really had a checklist process too. They did great.
Overall a great choice to move with this company. Everyone is a pro at their job. The whole team helped us move from Toms River, NJ to Morrisville, NC to the new 2 bedroom home. The process was quick from Danny the visual estimator checking everything out to now finishing the move not even an hour ago. We got everything packed and put in the truck and they came on time, not an issue or scratch or anything. The price tag for the move was lower than average but above value. Well worth it.
Weve moved several times and we used various moving services; my husband and I both said that using East Coast Moving was the easiest and best move of them all. Everybody was very nice, and we were really pleased. From the beginning to the end everyone was really great. The customer service was awesome from the first phone call to the day of the move. The crew was very nice. They loaded the truck accordingly. They went above and beyond what they were supposed to do. . They were very professional as well. They were where they were supposed to be, they were careful with my belongings, they accommodated me in a short period of time and made the situation less stressful. On a scale of 1 to 5 I would give them all a 6.
They got us moving to Camden, New Jersey a very local move. Wasnt sure if theyd be too busy but they were able to help us. We contact them and got a quote for the move after they came over to look at everything. Few boxes all prepacked. Few bedrooms moving from south Jamaica, queens. Theyre good at organizing and labeling appropriately the boxes, what room they go in, and even which part of the room. Things they packed was labeled too. Removable labels. Theyve done great and we tipped them good too, they deserved it!
I am amazed of all of the work that this company has done with the move. Im coming from Saco, Maine to Dover, Delaware and found a great deal to get the move done with this company. So I called them up and tracy got me a good quote. We packed up a few things to make it easier. We helped a little but but they did a fantastic job packing and moving everything else. Zack and the other movers are doing great jobs. Everyone is careful. Quote did not changed and Im surprised at that but overall its a great experience moving with this company which offers great value!
We had an awful experience with East Coast Moving during our recent move from NJ to FL - this is the most DISHONEST and UNETHICAL moving company. After having an in-home estimator give us a binding estimate of $4800, the final change was double that amount (over $8000) and nothing on our inventory list changed. They obviously give low-ball estimates and then jack up the price once you have no choice b/c most of your possessions are already on their truck. Also, during the time when the movers were in my house, one of them stole cash from my husbands wallet. In addition, the day of delivery changed 3 times, resulting in additional travel and accommodation costs. Finally, our brand new computer printer was never delivered (i.e. it was stolen). AVOID at all costs.Update: See the response from the owner below. Im sure it was a pleasure to move me, since you ripped us off and then stole our stuff. Disgusting.
Im moving from a 3 bedroom apartment to a 2 bed apartment in Syracuse, NY. Overall it was a tight squeeze. They looked at the space and seen what they needed to move. I told them they missed a room before they left and they immediately got to that so they can give us a better estimate. Totalxwas below average in the end. They have supplies ready do go in the truck too, well mannered and professional. Still a good choice to move with them!
This was such a nightmare. The folks I scheduled the move from Jersey to Florida were great. However, not when the movers got there. They hiked the price up to almost double the quote. The loaders were almost fist fighting each other. Gave a delivery date but didnt get there until two days after what was stated. The off loaders tried to scam me for more money once in Florida. Left a huge mess and many things broken.I could go on and on. I just want this over with. Please dont use them. You will be sorry.
I hired them for a local move within New York. It was from one storage unit to a house in Long Beach. I was provided an estimate for the move and they stayed well within the time mentioned. They were extremely professional and even repackaged some of the boxes we had done ourselves. Overall, they were great.
Dont believe the 5 star reviews, I found that many of them are copied and pasted from reviews for different companies but using different names. East Coast Moving Company told me they werent a brokerage company, but they obviously use contractors. They showed up and tripled our cost. They then used intimidation to demand cash payments and contract signatures; they did this to me upon pickup AND delivery. Upon the 13-day-late delivery, they threatened to hold our belongings hostage, not telling us where they would take them. Ive already filed complaints with the NY AG and the BBB and strongly suggest others to do the same. Take your business elsewhere.
Horrible The definition a a shady company. .Booked a move from NY to Florida .Price almost doubled when they came to move us out of our apartment and storage area (garage at complex.) . I have to take some blame in this as the quote was done over the phone but still was extreme.Had to be out in the next 24 hours so did not have much of a choice.. Then at the end of the day somehow they lost the receipt that listed everything loaded on the truck but the office would get me a copy when they .find it (Never happened). So now comes the real great part, what they don not tell you is that .your property is driven to a warehouse and other companys bid on delivering to your house..So I get a phone call from what I assumed was East Coast (but is not) saying they need to be paid the remainder of the fee before they will unload the truck. when they show up that is when I meet them for the first time and find out they are a outsourced company. 2 guys that just drove from Texas (how the hell did my stuff end up in Texas?) They also told me the partner had called in sick so it was just the 2 of them and they tried just dumping off everything in the Garage. Told them I paid to be moved into my house not my garage and they did it but not happy about it. Needles to say after unpacking items were not just damaged but also lots missing. Called to complain but guess what without having that bill of laden showing what was loaded on the truck , hard to prove what was missing. When I called to complain about the 2 people that showed up to do the delivery they could care lessDo not use them for your move , they are horrible and you will be sorry .
Contacting them to do the move is like using Uber to get a taxi, an easy experience that wasnt too complicated. Viktor and the other movers came ready with supplies and everything needed for the move to Stamford, Connecticut. I got the charged the original quote they have given me. Not an issue with that. Ive had a couple friends that also moved with them and they also never had a quote that didnt adjust as well. Im recommending a move with this company!
Great company! Theyll impress you with the quality of work that they do! Im moving from Albany Georgia (some people automatically think its Albany New York but its not lol) to Scranton, Pennsylvania. Im relocating to my new 3 bedroom home from a 1 bedroom home. I got a moving quote by tracy and the quote didnt change. This company is great for doing that and looking at the reviews, it looks like its an infamous thing they do. And rocky and the other movers ARE GREATT! Theyre careful. Theyre prompt. Nothing arrived broken or busted. No damage or scratches. Theyre the real moving pros! I recommend choosing them for your future moves.
Needed to look for a moving company last second which isnt really an easy process. I came across this unique moving company which really seems to show value to their customers based on the rave reviews. For the move Kew Gardens, NY to Frankfort, KY we got a great quote and I thought it was questionable as to why it was low. Danny assured us it wont change. They offered free packaging which really helped. We already had our own boxes to pack some things ourselves. Rocky and the other movers did great and took their time and did their best. One of the boxes got damaged a bit with nothing inside broken as it was my fault for not wrapping and packing it as well as they did with the other boxes.
Amazing experience moving with them. I am relocating from Boston, Massachusetts to White plains, ny. 2 and a half bed home relocation to 2 bedroom home. So Danny gave the quote and decided that compared to the other movers that this one has best value. They’re good at what they do. Rate never changed at all. They pack everything well. Thought everything wouldn’t fit in the truck but it worked out well! I recommend moving with them!
When I called them up and heard a quote from Stacy, it seemed like moving with them would be a great experience. We got everything checked out for the move from Melrose, Bronx, a 2 and a half bedroom apartment, relocating to the new condo in Daytona Beach, FL. Their moving truck was well built. The movers including Viktor are careful people. Great at their craft. This is a good moving company I recommend to all friends and family.
Got a move done with this company. Tracy gave the quote. I love the quote. It is actually better then their other local competitor. Moving from flushing queens to Westchester, NY. 2 bedroom condo moving to a 3 bedroom house. They are careful with all of my belongings. I had kept an eye on them here and there throughout the process and noticed no issues at all. They’re all careful and professional with the entire process. Shocked the quote never changed but that’s what makes moving with them a deal maker.
WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER. Believe the reviews when you read them. The positive ones have to be written by the company themselves, as you can see from their patronizing response to all the negative claims, It was a pleasure doing business with you, they dont care and wont respond to you if you so complain directly to them. If you call and recieve Michael Carrara on the line, hang up immediately. He was very charming when I called in and seemed very knowledgeable. I had a long conversation with him to explain my needs for an out of state move, he gave me a quote based on what I told him. I called back several times with questions and he was always quick to respond, which is why I chose company. Then the day of my move came, the man who showed up to move me had a very concerned look on my face as I started to show him around. I asked what was wrong and he said the order he had was to pick up 15 items and this was a much bigger job and going to cost much more $ than I was originally quoted. The quote Michael gave me was for 15 pieces of furniture and full packing services. I was moving some furniture and all my contents out of a 3 bedroom townhouse. Full packing services to me meant the contents we had discussed, but according to this mover, thats not his understanding and the price would be significantly higher. I called the office and Michael wasnt working that day and was told the mover was correct. I was catfished. I had no choice but to move forward with the move and pay more than double what I was quoted for them to move half of my stuff. When I called Michael the next day to tell him what happened, all his charm was gone, he told me this was the industry standard and hung up on me. He actually called me an idiot for not realizing a move like that would cost more than $1500. He also never told me it was cash due on pick up, who keeps that kind of money on hand, especially when it unexpectedly doubles?! Also, he told me originally my items would be delivered the next day. They arrived several days later by a different set of movers in a different truck. Every time I tried to call the office in the meantime I got Michael who told me, my stuff would get there when it gets there and hung up on me again. Several of my items were damaged and broken. I tried to call Management to complain but they never returned my calls and emails. I cant believe this place is still in business. Safe yourself the heartache and frustration and go with another company. United Can Lines is amazing, they moved me the last time, dont be like me and get swooned by the low quote and the fake customer service.UPDATE 10/13/20: I see your response, everything in my account above is exactly how and what happened. I was appalled at how I was treated by Michael. No one ever responded or reached out to me after multiple phone calls and an email requesting a response where I documented my complaints. I have to assume Michael himself wrote your untrue response because no one else bothered to contact me. If it were me and I saw a review this poor I would immediately reach out to the customer and try to find out what happened and how I can make things right. You still have not contacted me, youre only trying to make yourself look better on the internet so you can screw over innocent people and take their money. I will say it again, DONT do business with this company or you will regret it.
I used them for a move down south. They gave me a set price move because they came out to my house and checked everything out. While it was a little more than other companies I did not want surprises on move day. They also said I would have my truck, my items would not be removed from the truck and it would be there no more than 3 business days from the pick up date.On packing and pick up date the guy in charge comes to me and tells me I have to go buy his guys coffee. He also tells me I have to tip them. This is insanely unprofessional. I was planning on tipping but to have the guy come up and aggressively say, hey you have to give the guys something.Once all my stuff was in the trucks, he tells me I have 2 full trucks, 4400 cubit feet of items. My quote was for 3000 and that I have to pay the extra 1400. I tell him no, I have flat rate , which he tells me he does not care, its an extra 8k more. I call the manager and he tells him he is wrong its flat rate. Now this is where things go horrible wrong.3 days after pickup 2 trucks show up at my new house, at least one of the trucks is not the same truck that picked up my stuff. One of the truck is full, the other has maybe 1/4 truck of my stuff. So where is the other 3/4s of my stuff. I call the manager, she tells me that I did not have 2 full trucks, maybe 1 and a half. That they did not pack well. So the on site manager lied to me, and tried to get an extra 8k out of me. I told this to the manager and she did not seem to care much.So now I have maybe 3/4 of my stuff, the rest of my items are in their warehouse 700 miles away. The guys unload the trucks, I was told all boxes would be put where they are supposed to go, and all items they took apart would be put back together. Well the guys filled the garage, put stuff in the entrances and tell me they are done. Nothing is in rooms, nothing is together. I called again to complain, the guys sat in the truck for a few hours, finally came back in and put boxes in rooms. They said they forgot their tools so would not put anything together. I told him I have mine but he refused to put things together.A week later the rest of my stuff got here, I had to put together all my stuff because I was not having my kids sleeping on the floor.Damaged walls, tracked bedframes, broken tv, missing glasses, broken picture frames. These guys are one of the reasons the moving business has the rep it does.
I used their sarvice to move my apartment andTheir sarvice was professional .they came on time, packed every carefully and treat the stuff like its their own stuff...The guys were nice and did the work with smile on their face ( what I saw behind the mask).I took from them 1 star because of the difference between the estimated price then the actual price they took( it was double from 750 to 1500 ) it was a bit bitter surprise but the guys were nice and professional so I paid also with a smile .
Pretty good. Amazing work east coast moving. Their team was picked by me to move my 1 bedroom home from central New Jersey to a studio apartment in Newark New Jersey to be closer to the new job. And compared to their competitors their moving rates are more fairer which is a deal for me. Very prompt with the entire process and they’re so careful with everything. Love it!
Fantastic job! Theyre great compared to a previous move which did a rush job but a move with this company was more better than that. Im relocating from Sneads Ferry, NC to Townsend, GA. And I got a quote for a 5 bedroom move. And Danny gave a quote that best out the competition. The movers James and the other ones are clearly trained to be careful. They dont rush and they are careful wth everything. Not that bad! I recommend moving with them! All worth IT, no bad rate change.
Thanks for providing great service on the move! Im moving from Stamford CT to Portsmouth, New Hampahire and Im relocating my family! Im moving from a 3bed house to a 2bed house. Im comparing quotes from different moving companies. Saw this one was on the so I decided to go with it since the quote from Danny was actually fair! Better than the competitors which were local to me. Victor and other movers are pros! Theyre careful and professional. No the rates didnt change and Danny assured it wont. All is well with this move and i recommend moving with them!
Recently I got a vacation home Im partially moving to in Riverhead, NY, and this company helped me move 1 bedroom worth of furniture. Theyre great at tracking everything for every room and got the sample move job done. I was busy but they still worked with my schedule with no issue.
I love their service! I needed me home furniture moved from my home in Hollywood Florida to the new apartment in St. George Staten Island in nyc. Contacted many companies and this one did give a fair rate compared to other competitors that can do the move, this one did a phenomenal job. They’re careful with all my stuff. They’re professional. Shocked that the quote never changed so that’s a plus. Recommend them!
One of the absolute worst moving companies and businesses ever! The first company no showed on us, so we were referred to East Coast Moving. They gave us a BINDING ESTIMATE that was reasonable. Showed up to the house and waited until after they loaded the items to say it would be a $1,000 up charge. The threatened that they couldnt remove it or they would charge even more. A week goes by. No word on our items and they claim they didnt receive payment which makes no sense since the items were loaded. They claim they are gonna put in an expedited order to get it here quickly. Another week goes by and we dont hear anything. Apparently our stuff was just sitting around somewhere for two weeks. Bus driver claims his truck broke down and was also another 3 days late. Every step of the way was a disaster. Upon delivery, driver threatened to leave our stuff in the rain or drive back to New York with it. Management and main office are rude and incompetent. Very shady business that isnt upfront about costs. Will do a bait and switch and threaten your items so you have no choice. Horrible! For the love of god there are tons of moving companies out there!!! Find someone else! DO NOT USE EAST COAST MOVING. RUDE, INEFFICIENT, SHADY, AND UNTIMELY. F RATING.
Not that bad! Overall Im pleased with what they do. I am moving from from daytona beach fl to ocean city nj, and did my research narrowing down a list of companies that can move the belongings of me and my family. Theyre doing a great job throughout the entire process and the quote I got from Erica is actually fair, undercuts some local competitors. The movers victor and the other ones are pros! I recommend getting moving done with this company.
Best moves are with this one! We were in the process of moving and originally decided to move our own things ourselfs. Wasn’t easy but decided to choose this company for the move. Erica is the one that gave us the agreeable quote. We were moving from Bridgeport, Connecticut to Rosedale, Queens from our 2 bedroom home to a new 2 bedroom house. The entire moving process was smooth and easy. David and all staff was careful in what they do with everything they’re moving and packing. We had a move before with a different moving company but in the end the quote Erica gave us never changed which was a shock but that’s amazing! I recommend moving with east coast moving!
From start to finish everyone was great. I was afraid that no one would be able to move me because of the holidays, so I requested early January. East Coast was not only able to move me but they were able to do it this week which is what i wanted to begin with. Their response to my needs were amazing. Everyone I worked with from office staff to the movers and foreman were excellent. Danny is truly a miracle worker. Thanks to them I will be able to celebrate Christmas in my new place!
My preferred moving company! I am heading from Randolph, MA and this company is serving the area. I am relocating with my family and online business to Tamarac, FL. Stacy gave us the quote and Danny the visual estimator came over to see everything that we are moving from our 3bed home. Although Zack and the other movers are pros, only issue is a slight delay due to traffic so thats something theyre really not at fault for. But overall a smooth moving process.
Moving from Florida to Manhattan, ny is a very good experience with this company. I have a 2 bedroom apartment. Family of 4 of us. I have a busy work schedule so this company worked with our family schedule to move us to our new home. They’re a professional team of movers that do their best to satisfy. I do highly recommend moving with them.
Hesitant with all these MIXED REVIEWS to do long distance move but was VERY HAPPY with our selection.I can honestly say East Coast Moving really did everything they can to give us the best moving experience- they were 2 days late to SC but they did communicate the delay- reimburse us for extra 1 night in hotel- thought that was nice.Movers very Professional. Office very accomodating. Easy to communicate with.
I will never do business with them again, EVER. I called to get an estimate of my moving cost. They gave a quote and we agreed to it. On the day of the move the movers came and one just walked right into my bathroom and used it without asking. Then later on they just helped themselves to water sitting on the kitchen counter. After they had loaded my stuff onto the truck the guy told me the price. I was shock because now the price and doubled. When I called the company they said yes because I had more stuff I told them that even if I had more stuff it cannot be double the price or cubic. They said yes and that’s that. So I had ended up having to pay double price. They are con artists. They tell you the cubic feet has gone because you have no way of measuring the cubic feet yourself. They do not return your calls when they say they would. If you can do it yourself I would recommend that because that’s what I wanted to do it the first place and it would have saved me. Stay away from them
Good experience to move with them from Flushing, NY to Augusta, GA. Wouldnt say its best but theyre great. Good rate that beats the competition which really why I chose them. So the quote that Danny us seems lower than their competitors and he promised that the quote wouldnt change. The movers James and his team did the packing and moving of everything. No issues. Very little scratches, assume its human error but mistakes happen. But did keep an eye on them throughout the process from time to time so I can tell you that theyre really careful. I do recommend moving with them!
I recommend moving with these guys. Erica gave the quote to us and we decided to move with this company. The movers are professional. They’re super careful with everything. They’re good at packing even the fragile belongings. Moving from Long Island city, Queens in nyc to grand concourse, Bronx. Very local move but they’re on schedule. No change of the rates. Love the effort they did!
East Coast Moving company is a complete scam!!! Do not ever use this company. They are completely dishonest and unlawful. They gave me a quote than doubled the price when they got to my home. They promised me a delivery date and then took an extra week and a half to deliver. I had plenty of broken and missing items. They do not reimburse for insurance coverage so don’t believe them. They should be shut down!!!!! I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy or the devil himself. Do not ever use this company!!!! It’s the worse experience with a businesss I have ever had in my entire life.
The ONLY reason they get two stars is because the men who delivered my items were very nice and patient, and honest. I had about 300 cubic feet of boxes and one dresser to move from NJ to Maine. I was given a quote of 1360. They asked for a 100$ deposit at booking which I happily paid. My uncle was to meet the movers with my stuff as I was already up in Maine. I was not told I had to give them in cash or check 70% of the estimate BEFORE they could start driving my stuff. I found this out AFTER they had picked up my stuff so I had no choice...Ok that’s one thing, they forgot to tell me that when booking, forgivable. I was told 2-4 days, my stuff was picked up Sunday and not delivered until the following Sunday , a full 7 days. Not to mention I had contacted Irene , the person who handles everything I assume...MANY times trying to get a delivery estimate which she never told me until Saturday evening. When my stuff got here the final charge was twice the amount of the estimate!!! 2600!! And I was never told it had to be in cash so I didn’t have money. I was specifically told I COULD PAY WITH A CHECK. It was Sunday, the banks were closed. This is unacceptable. Everything I was told was a lie and they wouldn’t give me my stuff until I paid them in cash. The actual movers who dropped my stuff off we’re patient while I scrambled to put together all the cash without the bank being open , they were extremely nice and I gave them a good tip. My issue is with Irene and the whole company. I feel taken advantage of and played.... Despicable. Please do not use them as your company
Better rates compared to the competitors right in the area. Some competitors had some crazy rates, but this one seems to have a consistency with quality of their services. Needed to move from douglaston queens to Yonkers, ny. It’s a move to a 2 bed condo by the train in Yonkers from a 3 bedroom house. They’re professional movers with a focus on impressing you and keeping your stuff safe. They wrap everything the way they should. They’re careful with everything even their own safety. I love how careful with time they are with time. Amazing move with them! I recommend this company for your next move!
Amazing value. The rate they gave is good. The value is excellent. This passionate team of movers aim to satisfy. They are pros at moving. Some things were broken by movers before but at a different company but this one I so much more careful. The rate never changed for my 5 bedroom house move to Virginia from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Im busy I work full time from home. I have 2 friends that moved with this company. Professional staff. They are quick to answer the calls. I was even assured there would be no problem. Eventually we made it to Gulfport Massachusetts right on time. I watched here and there on the security cams on both of how they did the move. They are Professionals that didnt look into my personal things. They unloaded and loaded the truck safely.
Southern route move to the outer west suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. Company funded the move for me so I can be closer to work and this move was also cost effective too which was good. I am a simple person so I dont have too much to get out here to the new home. It was a quick process. They went here early but carefully went through everything. I prepacked a few things already while I had some spare time. They got everything out there in a box with no issue. Paid the quote on arrival. Very friendly and professional staff.
It been 2 weeks since I shipped my items and have yet to recieve them at my new location. The management has not been following up with me although I have left several voicemails. The situation has begun to feel as if I have to alot of head hunting to do to retriveve my items and may have possibly been scammed by Route 66(the reffering broker) and East Coast moving collectively. I am hoping the situation does not result in a lawsuit or authorities getting involved as I am will to pursue a active investigation due to the large amount charged and the delay in receiving open communication about my delivery status. As it is 1 week late to my new residence. The management I spoke twice a week ago pushed my delivery date back twice and now a 3rd time with any communication at this point in time and Irene was being very hasty and rude in her communication about these things matters and seems to be avoiding responding to my voice messages. The drivers who came to pick up our items at our old residence smelled of cigarettes, Marijuana and unfortunately were extremely disappointing in their service. Rushing the transaction and hiking up the price. So if you would ask me if I would recommend them unfortunately at this point in time the answer would be no. I anticipate clarity on my shipment no later than today before next steps will be taken.
Such a great moving team to move with! I needed to move from Philadelphia PA to Forest hill, NJ for an easier commute to nyc. This company was able to make the move possible at a good rate. I got my quote and signed them on to make the move happen. They’re friendly and professional. There was no issues at all, ontime with arrival in fact a bit early too. I recommend moving with them!
I got a quote from them and many movers and screened them down the list and chose this one for so many good reasons. On arrival to the last box out of the truck they were nice and they greeted us and in the end they were very nice and clearly were there to not mess around! Dan and other movers there did great!
Impressive move. Beginning to end no issues. They worked with our needs throughout the entire process for the move of our 5 family home from Long Island to Fredericksburg, Virginia. We also took a few prepacked boxes from the storage facility and asked them to bring those and immediately updated the estimated cost they gave us. Theyre very accommodating. They helped and did their job very carefully. In the end there was no problem.
We have a retail store. Decided to get the business moved to Astoria, Queens from Midtown West, Manhattan to get cheaper rent. They were able to help us, wasnt sure if they moved retail businesses but they accepted it to my surprise. They did great. Accounted for everything, nothing got lost. In the end the quote didnt even adjust after the move.
One of the BEST MOVERS ever used- AND I MOVED Military moving before....i must say Daniel and eddy really accommodated me. assured me no nightmare moving nonsense will happen. I understand not easy moving 20 years of memories and 4 bedroom house. When the movers got to my home they were nothing but polite, professional, and extremely careful. Any changes in the price / estimate Eddie gave me was explained by the forman Zackary and didnt put me in any awkward moving horror story. He was very articulate and thorough in explaining the extra charges or the packing and crating of mirrors and china cabinetsAll in all cant complain with delivery to Riverview FL in 4 Days -was impressed.Thank you Danny/Eddie/ and all East Coast Moving Inc.
I have moved a couple times within the last 30 years and Ive never seen a really professional team of movers. This time Im moving to Newburg, West Virginia and David and the other movers never joked around or had any sort of fun. They have great focus to detail and for each others safety too.
A smooth moving experience, well worth it beyond the dollar value of what I paid for! Smooth move from Mount Dora, FL to Marietta, GA. Just a 2 bedroom move worth of furniture. A bit of a tight squeeze to the new 1 bedroom home but we made it work. Basement was already finished ontime so they got the fridge down there successfully. In the end the quote was not changed at all which is what Stacy assured us. Worth it!
Their competitors have crazy high rates and these guys are doing a better job. Not that bad at all. Amazing work, great team of movers. Love the quote. 3 bedroom apartment move from Astoria queens to little neck queens to a 2 bed home. Never seen anything break. As I observed them from time to time, they’re careful and prompt. They’re protective of your stuff. They offer great value. Good work team!
Impressed with their service! Im relocating from Ambler, PA and Im moving to Fairfax, VA. I researched and found this company online. Everything checks out with the quote I got from Stacy. We talked about the move and we got the quote that works out with our budget. Its actually a good quote and James and the other movers are pros and are careful. Not a single thing broke or got scratched.
To say these mover were good/great/amazing is still undervaluing how hard and on point these Movers were, or maybe i just lucked out with theGREATEST MOVING CREW EVER!!. I wont lie was a bit hesitant at first b/c of all the mix reviews but Danny my estimator assured me of the quality of the services and would be with me through out the entire move and i can honestly say he wasWEREThe Robo Movers as we call them on moving were extremely efficient in the execution of loading and unload and protecting all the furniture was nothing short of amazing by Pablo/Victor/Zack/Damion,There work ethic and how each movers knows what to do and how is nothing short of SPECTACULAR. and thats why we tipped them so well
After loading my stuff, they tried to charge me $1000 more than the estimate and I left things off the inventory list, 2 items that would have required $95 extra in packing. Scratched my hardwood floor in my old house that Im still waiting for someone to come fix 2 weeks later. Broke the feet off my coffee table ($100), snapped the side of my fireplace/entertainment center ($400) and snapped the leg on one of my dining room chairs ($200 set). Top it off, they lost a box that has my $200 ninja blender in it plus other pampered chef baking items (not cheap). No resolution has been offered except file a claim which is only a reimbursement of 60 cents per pound. Not even close to what its going to cost to replace the lost items and broken furniture.10/21 - no one has called about the hardwood floors. The claims process is a joke. Now that its cold, I was looking for my winter jackets which are no where to be found. Hundreds of dollars in North Face, Michael Kors and Calvin Klein jackets are gone. Irreplaceable antique Tiffany lamps from a friends late uncle are also missing. Pampered chef items that were lost also cannot be replaced since they are now discontinued. This company is a scam. How convenient that you guys lost 2 boxes that have the most expensive items on there.....
I recently used Easy Coast moving for our large house of 25 years of memories move from Hoboken NJto Del Ray Bch FL.From start to finish, everything went super smoothly. The men were polite, hardworking and neat throughout the entire day. I couldnt believe how fast they were able to complete this job. They were packing and loading simultaneously and 6 movers probably did what would’ve taken me at least three month. Lol. what I can do which was amazing, because of how great the move went from East coast.Communication from office with constant updates regarding delivery was very thorough and clear and it definitely help me plan accordingly
Love moving with them! Never tried a moving company before, thought I could move it all myself but that’s why these services exist, so they can help you. I moved from Cambridge Massachusetts to corona, queens. 2 bedrooms worth of furniture and these guys are on time prompt and professional and they did the job!
Nice one! I originally thought I could do the entire move myself and it wasnt easy. I looked around and chose this moving company to help me move. I have 1 bedroom home and Im moving from Charlotte, North Carolina to a 3 bedroom home Tampa, Florida for the new family. A quote from Danny was pretty fair. I packed some things and moved somethings on my own but Rocky and the other movers did their job. No issues at all. Not a single penny changed from their original quote they gave me.
I’m waiting for my furniture picked up 1 week ago. Same story as everyone else. Lowball price on estimate. Jacked price up 3x what was quoted. Poor communication. Dispatch is a joke. Manager/owner won’t call you back. No one can get In touch with driver. Blah blah blah. Extortion. How are they still in business.?? I Intend to follow through with a complaint to the DOT and get a lawyer to prevent other people from having this happen. They are shameless
Theyre professionals that helped moved my small resturaunt from long island city queens into forest hills on queens blvd and they got everything over safely in the local move. Needed the help and a few friends actually recommended this one which really made me wonder. The rate was the number 1 reason I moved with their help. Great movers, Viktor and the rest. Great wonderful team. Good at preventing scratches! Good work. Saved on the lease few months in. Move that paid or itself!
Not that bad at all. Theres no issues with getting funding despite some issues with other competing lenders in the area. This company approved me for a loan to restore and modernize our retail store. We were able to buy more from our supplier and were able to expand. We changed our layout of the store to accommodate our expansion and show more of our new items customers can purchase. We have some self checkout cashier machines as well. And Isaac Matthews helped made it possible. As a result we were able to get more customers and the cashiers that got replaced by the self checkout cashier machines were placed on the retail floor to be more involved with our customers which added in the improvement of our retail experience for the customers.
So the move recently finished just earlier today. I’m moving from a studio to a 1 bedroom apartment. Coming from st. George Staten Island to kew gardens, ny. A very local move. I didn’t have anything really that heavy as I do not hoard a lot of stuff. Professional employees. Loved the quote they gave me which was good compared to a few other competitors I contacted. I recommend moving with this company,
One of the most organized moving businesses out there. Moved a couple times this time from the rental to the new 2 bed apartment in winter park, Florida. I dont usually have a lot of furniture so this move is a light one and was done quick. They came late initially to inspect everything but was ahead of time for everything else. It was traffic according to them and they did come around rush hour. Something that isnt in their control but overall aimed to satisfy.
Organization is here with this moving company. Compared with the last move this one seems to really coordinate and organize the process very well even going as far as coming early and drawing out room layouts. When they came to look at what needs to be moved I did not expect how well organized they would be throughout the entire process for my move down to Columbia, South Carolina and they did great and I highly recommend you move with them! Sending them referrals!
This move is a killer! Its been a while since Ive moved but this company has done great, in fact better! Comparing rates this one seemed a bit lower but however theyre really higher valued. Im moving from Roosevelt Island, NY to Providence, Rhode Island for retirement. Zach and the other movers are great!
The move was a great simple process. Moving from the northern Bronx to Greensboro North Carolina was a breeze. First time moving this far out and this company helped walk me through the process and they really did the job right. Same quote and final price. Not a change there. Professional staff! 5/5 for sure!
Moving to Atlantic City, New Jersey from Brooklyn in NYC by Brooklyn college was a breeze. I was looking up many moving companies and they came up. Im comparing the rates and chose this company as they REALLY DID A GREAT JOB according to many reviews. They were careful and prepared with everything, despite what some negative reviews were saying. Got everything there, nothing missing at all. I helped them with a few remaining boxes. Final quote didnt change so this works out.
Made it up there to West Warwick, Rhode Island easily to the vacation home as a more permanent home for retirement. They worked with my needs and I even helped a bit too but they really did a lot of the work and theyre super careful of how they carry my furniture and boxes, they keep a close eye on how close they are to the wall etc. good attention to detail. No overcharge.
Recently I moved from central Pennsylvania to Great neck, Long Island. Didn’t think they could do the ove considering how far out of town I was but they did. They came out all the way to my small town and got my stuff packed from my 5 bedroom home to my new 3 bedroomhome. I actually didn’t have a lot of stuff so this work. Everyone’s stuff is well packed and secured. Happy family moved! Professional staff, recommend moving with them! They literally went the extra mile and glad they did!
Got everything moved to Pompano Beach, Florida thanks to Danny walking us through the entire procedure with his expertise in the pricing of the move which seems unchanged. We flew over but when we got there around the same time they did as they were just parking in the driveway, they were busy not fooling around and in a timely manner unloaded everything. Boxes are well packaged.
I was new in the US. I was looking for a company that do the job at a reasonable price. I asked for an estimate from this company.Quoting their reply below:“ill do your entire move for $1695 door to dooreddieeast coast moving inc”Finally i had to pay close to 3.5kI was told that they are anyway sending a truck to the destination. So number of items won’t matter.
What a sweet deal with every extra service I needed for the move and it all had a lower cost than the estimates I got from alternate movers. I needed help with unpacking. We got that done. They actually helped and even tracked what goes where. Theyre very well organized for these things.
Was confused with all these mixed reviews BUT HONESTLY- BEST HONEST MOVING COMPANY- Danny & Irene HELPED ME SO much with my last minute move. VERY IMPRESSIVE- Not the Cheapest but not crazy expensive. Since i have been through the nightmare of cheap moving promised myself especially with a family now never again. Everything made it down to Florida same way they picked it up and actually communicated!!Thank you again East Coast Moving or ECM
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM .. quoted price $1200 came to pick up $2040 signed contract took my stuff than next day said $3800. Called police started investigation on company all of a sudden everyone that I was in contact with doesn’t work for East coast moving . Company prolly doesn’t even exists !!! Finally got my stuff and 80% of my stuff is broken . Tv , cabinets , all glass wear , dresser , desk , child coat hanger , list goes on . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . 5 star ratings in review are all fake
They came to the house and gave an estimate for the move. After the truck was loaded the wanted an extra $1000. They also damaged my floor and saw it they would fix it. Also missing a bix. Its been 3 weeks since we contacted them about the claim and still have not heard anything. Would never use or recommend this company. I am forced to out 1 star buy not worth that either
Arrived ready with all the supplies they needed, although they were a few minutes late on arrival only because they needed to pick up a few more boxes for packing before they left. Didnt expect to find no rediculous charges. No rude movers. And they also got to Hilton Head, South carolina early so they did great and they also apologized for the initial delay which actually worked out to fit more in less boxes and they did that perfectly too!
Absolute worst experience ever with a move. They quoted me a price with a list of specific items in the quote, loaded the truck and doubled the price. I had no choice but to pay. Now that the move is here and I had to leave it for 3 weeks in storage they are charging me $550 for storage. So rude, disrespectful and thiefs. DO NOT TRUST THEM.
Absolutely worst moving company. They wanted to charge me doubled what they quoted me. When they came to pick up my boxes the day of and said they were much bigger than the ones quoted. Although the measurements matched the binder. The movers left and I kept getting hung up on by the employers at east coast moving. It ruined the whole moving process for me.
Horrible experience. They sounded great on the phone. They get to my house and my estimate triples. They show up in a 15ft uhaul which is 742 cubic feet and I was charged for over 900. Things were missing and tons of things were broken including several boxes. They overcharged and are doing nothing to rectify the situation. Only left 1 star because I couldnt write the review without it.
Im moving locally to the 2nd nyc home over in Brooklyn, NY to be closer to transportation and Im not sure if they would offer to help us but they have done great with other moves and the move was only 6 miles away from just outside of nyc in long island. Few movers came to help us with 1 truck. We packed lightly for them and we have a few things we brought over on our own and we made it work.
I hired East Coast Movers to move part of my home from CT to NJ. I was quoted around $1600 to move the items. The day of the move I decided not to take all the items I listed on the inventory online questionnaire (such as a bookshelf, trunk, etc.). The movers arrived on time, and were polite. Things seemed ok until the mover said we had double the amount of items and raised the price over $1000 to a total of $2900!!!! For about an hour at my delivery site we went over the number of items. He said there was 96 pieces. We counted from his taken inventory list. The max amount 55 pieces total (including boxes). He was clearly lying about the number of pieces taken and the cubic feet. Then they pretended to give me a “discount” by charging $200 less, which is still almost $800 above the quoted price...in cash of course. The only reason I gave up on the issue is because my infant that I had in my arms the whole time was hot and exhausted by this. I would never recommend this company because they are SCAMMERS! They will quote a lower price and then raise it once all of your items are already packed. Then pretend to make an adjustment. Let me repeat that I decided NOT to take all of the items listed. There was no way my pieces or cubic ft was nearly double the amount. And that was proven once we went over the inventory. There was no apology for this. I feel badly for the customers that fooled who didn’t realize it. I found them on thumbtack. Do not trust them with your belongings. Choose anyone else! They are dishonest scammers!UPDATE to their response: I do not know how saying duplicate and thank you “Mercedes” solves anything. My name is BRITTANY! This goes to show you how their customer service really is. Proves my point again. They said I had 95 items, but at my house counted a total of 55. My estimate was for a total of 68 (boxes and items total). I had less and they held my stuff hostage until I paid close to $1000 more! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! Do not use them for moving!BBB report is necessary.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYTHEY ARE CROOKS AND THIEVES...Originally they gave a quote of $2,100 and the day of moving they jacked the price up to $12,000. They thought that because we needed to move out on that day that we would agree to pay that outrageous price.. NOPE we canceled services and was told by Danny that we would receive our $200 deposit in a few days... but instead of refunding the $200 deposit we were charged an additional $200 for services that we never received.. WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY...
Extortionist. The business is HORRIBLE! They misquote (THATS YOU MIKE AND IRENE!!!) your item size on the low end to get your business ($1300) Then they jacked it up by $700, and if not paid in CASH no delivery! Everything about these criminals reeks of scam artist. The drivers were shifty and would cover their heads with hoodies. They roughly handled my furniture and boxes. and damaged a leg of an antique table. The Company should be shut down, they are truly scum, and any one who uses them will regret it so much!
Do NOT use this company! They are scammers and can not be trusted. They will quote one price and once your furniture is loaded they will add additional fees up to $1000. The worst part is they lie about the amount of boxes you have in order to increase the cubic feet to validate the charges. Adding more insult they offer a $200 discount to the charges that were never originally quoted and will not move your stuff until paid. If you want great service and fair treatment look elsewhere. I repeat DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! RUN. They are SCAMMERS!
Awful experience! Complete scammers! They quoted over $1000 less than the amount they wanted in cash before unloading my items. The person from the company I spoke with was named Danny who lied and even became rude when I tried to fix the new amount due. They really force you to pay it because they won’t unload your stuff. They claim it’s second payment upon DELIVERY, but it’s actually prior to unloading. They take advantage of people moving in who believe they are getting a decent price.
I would like to start off saying that this started at a great deal, I called Eastbay Coast up get an estimate of how much would it be to move 20 large boxes 234 miles... I was quoted $900 & we spoke about my boxes needed to be delivered after 7pm due to my work schedule that day... I said that was perfect we agreed to this pricing. Things happened I wouldn’t need to trip to that location anymore. I would actually need to trip to be closer by 19 miles so the travel mileage would now be 215 miles... I again was still quoted $900 which I did not mind paying.Fast forward about a week or so (a couple days before my move) I called to confirm and pay the deposit for my move the prices had changed... now the move would cost $990 (no idea why the price had gone up by $90 but it was last minute and I could not find anyone else that could do the move for me) so I paid the $100 deposit. Again when originally quoted I was told a solid $900 no extra fees or anything like that no breakdown if there will be no extra charges. My boxes were arriving yesterday... I received a phone call as the gentlemen were bring my boxes to my house & they would arrive at 6pm exactly (I got off work at 6pm and we agreed 7pm) so I made a call inquiring about timing we spoke about the man on the phone called the drivers then called me back, he claimed the drivers can not wait around they charge $75 per hour if they wait. Long story short I left work early to arrive in time to be able to deliver my boxes at 6pm. I arrived one at 5:50pm the delivery team did not arrive until 6:20pm... which already pissed me off, when they arrived I was asked to signed something saying they had arrived (which I did) I had already paid $100 deposit, then $430 at the pick up location then the remainder to be paid upon arrive which is another $460. One of the workers informed me there is a $75 surcharge for my apartment hallway being 100+ feet long. I had no idea about this I was told they would get things done for that one price of originally $900, the gentleman informed me to call to see if they would waive the $75 that I had no idea about so I call the office of east coast moving company inquiring about this $75 fee and if it could be waived I was informed they can not waive the fee it’s something I am stuck with paying so now the job went from $900 to $1,065 in the blink of an eye. This company nickel and dime you where ever they can. This is truly disappointing that I was forced to pay an additional $165 for a service that I was told was a flat rate price.Long story short NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER!I’ve attached my invoice to prove that I was charged what I claimed I was charged & by the company I am claimed to be charged by its truly sad.
They did great in estimating the price. They didnt give any extra charges just for stairs or anything random. Nothing left behind. They almost forgot a box. I had to flag them down before they drove off. They stopped and parked safely apologized and got the box in the truck. They made it on time to Miramar, Florida and finished unloading the truck early.
Free packing boxes and friendly staff, all checks out. Decided based on the reviews. Im coming to Greensboro, North Carolina and thought theyd be busy for southern bound moves. They were picking up with demand for their services but they made it work. Got everything moved. They forgot a few small boxes but I get it, slight error that I dont think will really happen but they did figure it out and I didnt realize it but they did find it at the last second before they drove off. They still did great!
Theyre early for the initial meeting and they even finished the move early in Orlando, Florida. They really packaged everything with care and theyre very careful watching out for walls and their own safety which is good. They really beyond just aim to satisfy, they do a great job very naturally.
They quoted me for the move to Newark, New Jersey. They even went beyond their service to help find a temporary storage facility to store a few extra things that couldnt fit in the home. They are VERY WELL PUT TOGETHER with the services they have done for us! Great and well worth it to move with them!!!
What are the odds that, not one friend, but TWO had the same exact issues and they live in different states. They dont even know each other. If you scroll down... Youll see that this company has taken advantage of my people and others by holding their belongings hostage on the moving truck. And its ALWAYS double the quote or cubic feet...I wouldnt use this company to move Donald Trumps furniture out of the White House. This company is terrible. Two Thumbs DOWN!#MovingTerrorists#FurnitureHijackers#PoorCustomerService
Competitive rates! Theyre pros! The move was from Lorton, VA from our 2 bed home and we are relocating to Greenville, NC. They checked out everything in the move prior to preparing everything. The rate was never changed at all even at the end of the move. Its as if it was locked in. Plus it was lower than some other local movers.
A coworker recommend them to me and even got me a discount for them to help us as they know an employee there. And we called them up but we couldnt believe the quote so we got to them a few days and they were very accommodating and careful. They prepared the walls and flooring. They prepared breakables. All went well with that in the end the quote wasnt adjusted at all. They were a very good high value bargain. Well WORTH IT!!!!
No additional item was what I told his employee who was the one who gave a price and then did not give a face, and speaking of an article, that is why I missed two boxes, but I did not call them because I know how they are and they will not answer for nothing, from the beginning it was said that the delivery had to be weekend.
$1000 over the quoted price??? With no additional items to the inventory count? This company scammed its customer! Even after proving there weren’t more items in total they refused to unload until they are paid the new overcharge amount! It’s expected to pay for packing material, but pretending there are double the amount of items is a scam. Do not do business with them!
Horrible experience. Had an initial quote and took a picture of every single item and measures every item. At pick up they doubled the price and asked me to wait outside with the truck so that they dont get a ticket. So I refused the service. Horrible company and a day before I leave. I found another company that stood by their price.
Dispatch was rude to my family after trying to figure out why they were increasing the charge. We did not have extra items, in fact there were less. Of course, the guys chose to make it difficult after our items were packed, loaded and arriving at the delivery address. DO NOT TRUST this company with your move!
They have made the whole overwhelming process easy. Im moving from my college dorm room to a studio apartment in another state from upper west side of Manhattan, ny. Not too much to check out but they counted everything, we got the right amount of packing materials ropes boxes etc. everything arrived to the new place with no scratch!
The quote from pablo made me think about it a little bit. To move to Winter Park, Florida with the help of their team made it worth it in the end. Sure, they may have had a couple of extra personal stops here and there but they came through and everything is all here. They explained what happened and caught up with everything after that. They may make a mistake but it doesnt mean that it always happens. I still recommend moving with them for them being very professional and apologetic about it.
No intergrity with how they do business. Will change fees mid job. Not professional at all. They double the price when you do not have more items is a SCAM! They counted boxes twice in order to increase the amount of cubic feet and items they still would not unload until the increased price was paid. It’s a scam.
Great rates. Just dont expect good communication or for your property to be delivered on any date that is discussed. Maybe it will be delivered a week after you were told it would be. Grab a cell and record the way they carry your precious property on their backs like you are in a 3rd world country. The video would be gold on YouTube.
Worst moving company ever. Sometimes I look at these reviews and think that was just a person that had one bad experience, but after much research I see this has happened many, many times with this company. This company has many bad reviews and they hide them all. Please do not be fooled use anyone else but not them. Expensive, unprofessional and tardy! They were the worst of the worst.
Ive done a local move to Cambridge, Massachusetts with these guys, PROMPT! Theyre on the dot with everything and they even counted every single box. NOTHING LEFT BEHIND! Love the rate as they didnt even change a bit! Will move with them again if needed since they also seem to operate in Massachusetts too.
Super careful. Missed a box but thats ok, I got that one on the way out. They were confused when they seen me bring in one of the boxes on arrival had to explain that they forgot it and apologized right away. Made it to Fordham, Bronx. Its a local move and they helped made the progress easily as they finished earlier then expected.
EAST COAST WAS NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING-Came on time- price didnt change (much 10% - Reasonably happy) nothing broken or missing-Couldnt have asked for a better company. would highly recommend them to friends and family -Staff was also very friendly to communicateThank you danny/Irene for all the headaches i gave you
Impressive work. Color coded organization and they even kept track of where things are layed out in the room. Moved to the 2 bedroom house in Greenville, SC from an apartment and they kept track of everyones room, labeled everything properly, got the layout on paper. Pretty cool.

2022-07-14Five stars are just insufficient. The crew is fantastic. This was our first time using a moving company, and they exceeded our expectations. We will undoubtedly use them for any future moves since they exemplify what exceptional customer service is. Before the relocation, they addressed all of our inquiries, and despite receiving quotations from other companies, we were convinced that they would be the best company to fulfill our requirements. They are prompt, have outstanding communication skills, are dependable, courteous, and actually care about the job they accomplish. Thank you for making our move so easy!

2022-06-27Punctual, professional, cautious, considerate, and quick! What more could you want from a moving company? They were very careful with our belongings, and at every difficult stage of the move, they just stated, Well figure it out. And they succeeded! The people whose home were purchasing noticed the movers excellent work and decided to engage them right away for their own relocation. By far the simplest and greatest value for money component of purchasing a home. Thank you very much!

2022-04-30We are so happy with the service that weve been receiving lately. Everything has been top-notch. The movers are respectful, well mannered and they work quickly without rushing or being disorganized. I love their attitude and the quality of their service! They are all nice guys and I highly recommend them for your next move! Special thanks to Victor, Morrison, and Fazier for doing an excellent job.

2022-07-21They moved our items very quickly and carefully. We required them to move all of our furniture to our kitchen and dining room while still allowing a passage through our kitchen. They were able to not only accommodate our furniture in this location but also provide us with the pathway I had hoped for. I plan to hire them again after our remodeling is over. They arrived on time and completed fast. I wholeheartedly endorse their services.

2022-07-20Victor and Beck were efficient, hardworking, and courteous throughout the whole moving process. I was impressed by their response to what we requested. They were very cautious with all of the items that had to be moved and made sure that they were all safe in boxes. These men were well-organized and made good use of the storage units. I was particularly pleased with how they handled an early morning. I would use them again!

2022-06-29They were great! This was my first time using professional movers, and it was well worth it. They were really conscientious about their work. When I inquired if they could unmount a television, it was already unscrewed and packed up by the time I glanced up. I will definitely utilize them the next time I move. Thank you so much for making my life easy!

2022-04-27East Coast Moving did an excellent job of packing my things! I would recommend them to anyone. They are courteous and professional, the drivers were great and so were the movers who moved me and my things. Thank you for doing such a great job at keeping my items safe and secure while moving.

2022-04-18I was super happy about the house moving service I got from East Coast Moving Inc. James and Victor took extra care and were respectful in packing up all the stuff and getting them relocated to my new apartment. They even moved some stuff into the garage for me (and that was something I specifically requested). Ive used them before and have always been happy with their service. Id definitely use them again!

2022-07-08Worst moving company ever. They work so hard to pressure you to choosing them and then you pay your deposit. The day before they call to confirm your contract that they email and then the day of the call in the morning to add on fees after you’ve already paid and settled on a contract. Do you know how frustrating and stressful it is to rely on a moving company and then day of they add fees on? They say they’re not forcing you to pay and stay with them, but giving you no other option is exactly doing that.
