I bought my Trax last June and the buying experience was painless. I did get lost for an hour on my road test and we all had a tremendous laugh after their panic subsided. I thought I would need to commute to work but I pretty much am still working from home, so the mileage hasnt been much. My service experience was quick and efficient when I was there last week. The waiting area was nice as well.
Enough good things can’t be said about my experience purchasing a used truck from this dealership this past weekend and it was all due to the professionalism shown to me by my sales consultant Erik Mendoza. He was upfront, and didn’t play any of the games or BS you would typically expect to deal with when purchasing from a dealership. This particular experience was good because John (the agent who helped me) was very knowledgeable and professional. He called me when the car was ready, and took the time to explain the repairs and the costs associated with them. The service was well done and John was excellent.

Be careful when you buy extended warranty from this people. You sighn tons of paper work there. All their explanation that you will have 72 months/100K miles warranty. Its was my first buying of the car. I signed everything. Now 5 years later I found that my extended warranty finished 2 years ago and I didnt even reached 100k.
My experience at the dealership was not that good. When I called to make an appointment for an oil change for my 2018 Chevrolet Cruze, I told the person who answered the phone that I have an extended warranty which covers all routine maintenance, including oil changes for the next five years. This person who answered the call seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. First, she said I would need to call back during the week (I called on Saturday 6 - 18 -22) to speak to a service advisor to confirm that my policy was active. I took her advice and called again during the week. This time I spoke to someone by the name of Delia who told me that I would need to contact Zurich, the company which issued the policy, to confirm when my policy expires.This is NOT how anyone treats a loyal customer. Finally, a genuine service advisor called me back to assure me that my visit would be covered.Here is my question: Why should I have to go through hoops to get something I am entitled to get, namely routine service on my car?Earlier this month (Saturday 6 - 4- 22) I went to East Hills to ask about getting a set of four new tires. Abdul, the service technician, said it would cost over $1,100 for four new tires. I showed him a printed estimate from Firestone in Westbury, NY for approximately $800 for the same tires. He said the dealership does not and would not match prices. I wound up getting my new tires from Pep Boys on Northern Boulevard for $775.My next question is this - Why should I go to East Hills for service when I am not going to be treated like family?
I called Alexander Steshenko from Virginia about a Chevy Traverse. He was more than amazing and extremely helpful. He is the best car salesman I have ever worked with. He was open and flexible, which is rare for the car industry. If your looking for a car and live in the mid Atlantic or North East you need to give Alex a call.
I booked a service appointment with myChevrolet app. Received my confirmation and shortly thereafter received an email confirmation. A text follow up was sent, saying to respond with any questions, so I inquired about the time it would take to address my issue and if I would have the ability to get a loaner vehicle (as my vehicle is still under warranty). I never received a response. Fast forward, I appear at the dealership and was informed that my vehicle may need to be left overnight. I informed the clerk of the abovementioned and was very upset because they had no loaner vehicles. I asked him to get my vehicle back, as I wouldn’t be able to be without my car for the day and that this information should have been relayed when I responded to the received message, so I could better prepare. He told me that I should let the mechanic take a look first and see, so I did. Nearly 4 hours later, my car was completed. The frustration could have been completely avoided with a simple response prior to arriving at the dealership. Ultimately my issue was addressed, which was my main concern.
My new car broke down with serious transmission issues. I was able to get it towed for free to East hills. I called up and spoke to Gary in the service department. Not only did he assure me a loaner vehicle, it was ready immediately. All the stress of having a new car breakdown was dissolved from dealing with Gary and Laura. I would recommend this place all day long
I can not express adequately how amazed I was with Erick my rep. I got an incredible deal without the sales tactics usually experienced at dealerships. It was so nice to not have to deal with the anxiety usually associated with buying a new car. Straight shooter, no BS got me out of there the same day. I will insist that all my friends and family see no but him in the future! Erick you just got a customer for life!
I came here to get my first leased car ever. I was helped by Sonia. She contacted me after I first inquire online about a Chevy and worked with me al the way. She is excellent I highly recommend her. She made sure my paper work was in order and helped figure out options on things I did not have at the moment. The finance person is also extremely helpful and will work with you to get you going. Highly recommend East Hills Chevy!I must add to my original review, after taking ownership of the vehicle, I found that several issues with the inspection of my vehicle before it was released seed to me. I had to return several times due to broken/missing items. Antenna missing, broken rear view mirror, vanity mirror, cargo cover. They need to do a better job making sure ALL equipment works. The rear view is a safety issue and the antenna is basic. Makes me wonder what else is wrong, and how thorough was their inspection. Not as happy as I was when I left the dealership....

Bought a chevy cruze… tyler was my sales person and she was great and made the sale very easy even went out her way to pick me up in commack! everyone at the dealership there was so great thanks to joe the used car manager, perry the sales manager and jason in finance all around great and I would highly recommend buying a car from here!
After leaving your facility I had a technician perform a diagnostic on my vehicle and it showed that it is impossible for my vehicle to have passed an inspection, because it still had the Same problem as it did before I brought it to your facility. Therefore I would like to know what did you fix and what bid pay almost twenty nine hundred dollars to you for.

So disappointed,I purchased my brand new car here one and a half years ago.They serve lifetime free inspections.I save 10 dollars but waste a whole afternoon.
The service I asked for went okay. I requested transmission service and 4 wheel drive transfer case service along with NYS vehicle inspection. Service rep. called to advise rear disc pads and rotors needed replacement. I told him that I will go ahead with that service as long as the mechanic shows me the old parts. After seeing how clean the old rotors were and how good the old brake pads were I realized I was scammed. I expressed this in a civil way, but Im displeased with what I experienced.
Update 3I went to the East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston to change oil today but they told me they can not provide any service for me this time and in the future, because I complaint John Jeffrey. He told me do not come to the store in the future. Is this Chevrolets service? Can you only accept good reviews? When I bought the car, I confirmed that any Chevrolet store can provide service.Why don’t you accept me just because I once complained to John? Is this the East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston Johns?Update 2I want to explain that Chevrolet did not arrange any interpreter for me before the service.After opened the wheel, John said that there was a charge around $350 . I explained my situation to him and he found a Chinese translator for me. I told him I did not change the tire and no one open it.I think the screw was not fixed when the car leaves the factory。John said he didnt care about it, he would collect money as long as he opened it,John said if I do not want to repair I still need to pay $90, I have no choice at that time and I asked him about the warranty but he did not explain anything.At last he decided charge me$260. He thinks I am a Chinese and he doesn’t want to tell me more. Since the service is provided, he should explain clearly to me.I want to file a complaint against John Jeffrey. I went to the service center because i heard rattling noise coming from the passenger side. I went to east hill Chevrolet and to see what was the cause of this issue. John Jeffery told me the damaged was cause by someone or when changing the tires, however I explained to him that this is a brand new car that I purchased two month ago therefore there is no need to change any tires. So this issue cannot be cause by me or by someone .But a issue with the manufacturers therefore I think this should be cover by warranty. However the sale person refused to listen to me and charge me a huge fee to just to fix the loose nut. Can someone please look into this and I hope to from you in due cause. Than
For some reason, my labor fee on my billing for my latest visit was inaccurate. The labor hourly rate is $159.90. The total labor fee was $679.59. With some basic division, it would seem that I spent around 4 hours and 15 minutes (4.25 hours) in the dealership, but I arrived at 9:30 and left at ~12:30. To give them the benefit of the doubt, we can assume that all ~3 hours were used for work, which they were not. In this case, the labor fee would be $479.70 with a full 3 hours of work, which is still around $200 ($199.89) extra paid. When I confronted Gary about this, he claimed that this was menu pricing, though he did not elaborate on this and refused to explain further. This is completely unacceptable and outrageous.

Purchased a used Chevy Tahoe. Very accommodating staff. Nice looking cars and clean environment. Tyler, my sales person was knowledgeable and more importantly worked very hard to answer questions and respond thru text or phone call during after hours, before hours, and on days that she was off. If you choose East Hills Chevrolet - I’d recommend seeing Tyler without hesitation.
Went for service on my 2018 Tahoe. I didnt realize that the $59 8 quart oil change special did not include the tire rotation. So I said to the service consultant Amana Ill go to another dealer Because I know chevy dont cross honor coupons. She said you here already no worries Ill discount you for the difference. Made my day hella easy... And with her beautiful smile I wanted to stay anyway as she gave me the perfect reason to.... discounts. Thank you Amana for going above and beyond with your customer service skills.

I had a horrible experience in east hill. they are arrogant, rude, not courteous . they took 10 days to finish my two days job. over charged for my service. I will not suggest any one to go there.I have to state that while I was arguing about their overcharge they kick me out from shop and said they do not need my business and ask not to go there any more.
Go in and ask for Tyler! She was amazing and patient with us and very kind. She helped us find a car after our car was a total loss due to flooding. I also wanna thank Jason the finance manager for also being patient and helping us get a good interest rate! Satisfied is an understament. This dealership is great
All I can say is a bad, bad, bad experience from the wait time to the charges. They’re the sweetest people when you go to give them your business and drop off the car but when it’s time to pick it up it’s a war. I strongly suggest as a normal human being to stay away.
As far as customer service it is 5 stars but I had a pretty bad experience with the technical aspect. Went in to have my truck looked at because of shaking/shudder. I knew it was a torque converter or transfer case issue so I mentioned it to service rep. Really nice guy, said hell relay the info to the tech. Apparently the tech could not replicate the shaking the vehicle was producing at low speeds. Now, I am not a mechanic, more of a weekend wrencher, but when I was told to do a tune up to solve the issue with the shaking I was extremely disappointed. So I went to a different Chevy dealer three days later. At this new dealership, I pointed out that my torque converter or transfer case was the issue. This new dealer actually listened to me and, surprise surprise, the torque converter needed to be replaced. But wait, there is more. When the pan was taken out to replace the torque converter they noticed metal shavings inside the transmission. Upon further inspection there were numerous gears that were damaged.It so happens that I had a transmission oil flush done at East Hills three or four weeks prior. Like I said, I am no mechanic, but I know when you replace fluids you see what residue is in the old fluid. Granted, very small amounts of metal debris is acceptable during a fluid change. But not to the like that was in my transmission.I hope East Hills does the right thing and has their techs brush up on transmission servicing cause after my last experience there I cant say I want to go back.
Will never purchase a vehicle or get service done at East Hills, and I implore you to find somewhere else for your purchase and repair needs.Bought a used electric vehicle in late July with less than 25k miles on it. Within a day of driving it, I realized there was a major issue with the vehicles battery. Was told everything was in working order before buying, clearly not the case. Returned the car for service, no loaner was provided on the day I returned it, refused to pay for transportation or give me a lift home. Had to return another day to get a loaner.Asked me to return two loaner vehicles with less than 24 hours notice in the middle of the work week. Has anyone here ever worked a job outside of a car dealership?Vehicle sat at the dealership for 154 days with no repair performed. Not a single phone call from technicians with an update. Every time I asked to be called back, I never received a call back. Every time I asked for a copy of paperwork like a loaner agreement, never received it. Was told itd be a 50-70 day wait from when I dropped it off due to a recall -- great, not their fault. What happened next is most definitely their fault.In late October, the order for my part was cancelled. No one informed me. Why was the order for the part cancelled? East Hills did not have the appropriate equipment to handle the repair. No one told me the part order was cancelled, no one told me they wouldnt be able to do the repair. My car sat on their lot for 2 more months until I learned directly from General Motors that they will not be receiving the part and do not have the equipment to perform it. I called every two weeks asking for an update on the part and it was always its on its way, weve ordered it, were waiting.I had to find another dealer to perform the repair and arrange for the vehicle to get towed. Another dealer had the part ordered and received in 5 days and performed the repair in 24 hours. Service manager admitted that they knew the part wasnt coming and they wouldnt be able to do it since October. I couldve had this car repaired 2.5 months ago if anyone had been forthcoming. Took 4.5 months before a manager would talk to me.Absolutely unacceptable business practices. The lack of professionalism is astounding. No care is made to ensure vehicles are in working order apparently. No one can give you a call back. No one will admit to not being able to do what theyve told you they will. Take your business elsewhere.
Had a wonderful experience at this dealership all thanks to Erik. Erik was definitely a pleasure to work with from the moment he took in consideration what I was looking for. Made the whole process pretty simple and had such a great personality and hospitality. I rarely post any reviews on Google but wanted to acknowledge my great experience recently with East Hills Chevrolet. I hate having to go to auto dealers because it ends up taking up half your day so I started the process on their website. Chris Ng then worked with me by e-mail, on the phone and by text to so that everything would be ready when I came. By the time I came in for my appointment, it took less than an hour before I picked up my new vehicle and was on the road. They were upfront with all the pricing and everything was laid out beforehand. Chris, Jason in finance and the entire staff were total pros. Thank you.
I just bought my first car from East Hills Chevrolet. I was a nervous, first time car buyer and Sammy made me very comfortable. I wasnt pressured in to anything and everything about the cost of the car was upfront and honest. Sammy went above and beyond to even make sure to help me set up my iPhone to work with the cars system etc. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially Sammy.
We went in on Sunday to look at our options for when my lease is up in July, walked out with a new car on Monday because we were waiting on the bank to finalize the loan and it was late on a Sunday when we went. We had a great experience at East Hills Chevy, Alex our salesman was amazing, he had everything ready for us on Monday so we did not have to spend hours at the dealership. I did my 1st oil change here. Made my appointment at 11am. He says it will be done around one half to two hours, but I said to him that I was in a rush to pick up my kids. So he said he would try his best. By 11.45am my car is ready to go. Very happy with the service... bravoooo
I just bought a Dodge Journey Crossroads from Tyler at East Hills Chevy. Tyler was absolutely amazing and very helpful!! She was honest with me and made me feel very comfortable!! We picked our new car up on a Sat. it was a little crazy but Scott V. handled it with ease. We usually deal with Joyce but she was out and Scott was a pro with all of the details and there were many. I think this was our 4th car we have leased with East Hills and never had a bad experience. If we do it again I will never think twice about going back to East Hills it was a very nice experience.

After having a few bad experiences shopping around for a car, I finally went to Chevy in East hills. Erik Mendoza was my salesman. Erik was very professional and polite. I never felt rushed or pressure. He went over everything I needed to know as it was my first time leasing. He made the process quick and easy. Overall a great experience.
I wanted to share my wonderful experience purchasing an equinox from Scott Vigoda and East Hills Chevy. This was my first time buying a chevy and knew little about them but Scott made the experience a great one! He was patient and extremely knowledgeable. I love my equinox, it’s the perfect size and runs great.

Recently i brought my trail blazer to East Hills Chevy Service department for a oil change . I dropped the car off Chris and his staff in the service department were extremely helpful. I had a 2014 Chevy Suburban and it was about time I switched up my vehicle. I went to East Hills Chevrolet and I was taken care by my buddy Juan Nadal. (Whom I dealt with before. My 2014 model was previously purchased through Juan as well.) We managed to get me into a brand new 2018 Model Suburban LT and it has been well worth every penny. Tyler was a great salesperson. However, the dealership could have made it a much smoother process. They do too much documentation on paper as opposed to electronically. This included me having to wait about 10 days for a piece of mail showing that the lien on the car I wanted to purchase was paid. This was after I paid my initial deposit. I don’t understand why this couldn’t be provided via e-mail in some way. Also, between that day and the day that I officially purchased the car, approximately 250 miles were put onto it and no one seemed to have an explanation for that. That was particularly annoying.
If youre a woman, dont work with Scott. Choose any other sales person. Hes incredibly condescending. It was a TERRIBLE buying experience. He told my mom to stop talking and was just so obviously disgusted with us b/c we were women. He would never treat a man the way he treated us. I love my Tahoe, and wanted the truck which is why I tolerated it. He should be fired, or at least not allowed to work with women. He also complained about people that dont speak English which was very inappropriate.Ive been shopping for a Tahoe for months and have only worked with female sales reps to avoid EXACTLY what happened. Even the finance guy was embarrassed (he was awesome btw). When we went into the finance guys office Scott was very loudly mocking us from his desk.My mom and I left absolutely appalled by Scotts behavior and I see in these 4-5 star reviews that none of them are for Scott. Perhaps he should be taken off the sales floor. I am truly saddened the commission for the vehicle went to him.Do better Scott. There is no room in this world for men like you.
Great buying experience. There was an insurance issue, but Alex gave me a good advise how to handle it right way. He managed a great deal for me and I drove home my brand new Equinox. Alex is knowledgable and experienced specialist, he made sure there are no questions left unanswered. Highly recommend.
Alex was our sales person he was great . He’s very personable and organized which made my husband happy, that someone actually followed through with the paperwork making a smooth and easy transition . I wasn’t sure what I was looking for a traverse or a bigger truck . Alex showed us options and prices . Was not sure on a color but when he was showing us vehicles i liked black on black blackout package but we saw a white Traverse knew that was the one it had everything I was looking for. With all the bells and whistles. Alex was so spot on that my husband went back to him for a another vehicle. It’s nice to know that they are still people out there who are confident and organized in there job.

Sammy is a very pleasant salesman. He spent two days helping me and my son purchase a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox. My son needed it expedited in order to return to college, after losing his vehicle in an accident. He even got the car ready for the final release, as the service people were unavailable to take care of it. My son now has a beautiful loaded car and we are very happy!
When it comes buying a car I always find myself going back to East Hill Chevrolet because of my Sonia! I met Sonia in 2012 when I bought my Suburban and she was awesome, she explained everything in details she was not pushy I felt comfortable with her. I sent my brother to her he purchased his Chevy Traverse through her, my daughter ‘s Chevy Malibu was purchased through her. Now my oldest daughter is about to get her car and of course we went to see Sonia yesterday and as always she does her best to give us the best deal!! If you are looking for a car I highly recommend you go see Sonia she is the best!
John in service and his manager were awesome communicating and the mechanics found the problem right away. The fact that you had the parts was great and not common today. I just had a conversation with a friend who is a chevy owner from out east and told him about you guys and he will be stopping in.

Once I decided on one and was going thru the approval process, I ran into slight delays due to proof of income; but Jason (Finance Manager) worked diligently for me and got me approved!

I was second on line for my service, but I was still here for 3 hrs. They either need to get more workers and need to speed it up because it shouldnt take that long for an oil changeI need to update, I went to car service for oil change and it took 4hrs wow, i really need to call chevyNew update, I bought the car because the salesman told me all the perk, anyone buying a car, make sure any statement they make is true, my family have bought 2 cars from this place, and 6 cars from Chevy since 2000. I wish Chevy can do what is right and keep their word. I will soon buy a new car again, but not shore it will be them, but again I like Chevy car, but can I trust them. Them lying to sell the car was a win for them, I guess. I hope they can make it right and keep their word, but again chances of that happening is slim.
We want to thank Tyler for being patient with us on our purchase with a Chevy Traverse. We came to this location to purchase a brand new car. We walked in and walked out due to the first salesman who was a used car salesman. I received a call 10 minutes later by Alex, he was extremely understanding & very eager to work with me. He could not stop apologizing for our first experience. Needless to say with his support, patient & undivided attention, we bought a car on the spot. Alex made sure to get everything I wanted in my Chevy Blazer and he delivered within 2 days. I recently bought 2017 Chevrolet Equinox here and was helped out by Sammy. He was extremely helpful and was nothing but kind the entire time. While we were finishing up paperwork, he was kind enough to get the car washed and detailed a second time (even though the car was just cleaned and arrived on the lot a few days prior). He was very thorough in all explanations and made sure we had all information before buying a certified pre-owned vehicle. Nothing but the best to him.
My car broke down near East hills Chevrolet of Douglaston so it got towed here to be fixed. When I left the car, I was told It would take 2-3 days for an answer. I left my car and had to get a rental car to get me through what I thought would be a few days. Every time that I called to check the status of my vehicle, I was given a different answer by my service advisor Amana. At first she said it was a transmission issue that was being fixed, then days later said they didnt know what the issue was and hadnt started working on It yet, then told me a date it would be ready. When I called to verify this date with her, she acted as if she never said that to me. Long story short- my car was there for 17 days and had NO work done to It. I had to pay over $1,000 for a rental car simply because this dealership failed to handle the situation properly. If I had known what a nightmare this would have been, I would have paid to have my car towed to my Chevrolet in New Jersey. Please avoid this place at all costs!
Amana was great in terms of customer service and worked with me on getting the best possible pricing for my oil change and inspection so would love to work with her again next time!However, the only reason I didn’t rate this 5 stars is because of the serviceman who scuffed up the front lip of my corvette while returning it. Anisa noticed this right away and promised to follow up with management so I’m very grateful for that. Still waiting for this to be resolved…

Had a great leasing experience at East hills with salesman Juan Nadal. He took care of the details ahead of time so we would have to spend minimal time in the dealership. He also worked with me until I was able to get the deal I needed on a Colorado. This is the first of two vehicles that I am getting through East Hills and Juan. Juan has been extremely helpful in getting the accessories I needed for the Colorado. Would highly recommend Juan Nadal to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Scott was great with us. Once our girls got here he gave them two balloons so we can be peacefully in the dealership buying a car. He was very knowledgable on the chevy cars and what i wanted. After having a horrible experience dealing with toyota financial, after 10+ years, my boyfriend and I decided to stop in at Chevy Douglaston after my neighbor had recommended them. I went in not knowing if I wanted to lease or buy, one car or two. We sat down with Sonia, gave her all our options and she really listened to us and was able to give us exactly what we wanted —even though we didn’t know what that was when we got there!! Everyone was very friendly, even our financial person, Julie, had us laughing. I am pleasantly surprised with how well everything went today and look forward to driving our Chevy for years to come!
Mr. Charles Roberson is a great salesman. He takes time to explain all your options, didn’t apply any pressure on you to buy a vehicle, showed patience and professionalism. I would recommend family and friends to him. However, their service teams needs some training, and this is when Mr. Charles Gaines GM stepped in and made some phone calls along with Mr. Roberson. I came in last week to have my car serviced and to talk about what I was going to do at the end of my lease in two months. I have dealt with Joyce Gold for the last two leases, so I made an appointment to see her. I was VERY indecisive about what I was going to do: to get a new lease? (But the Cruze, which I love so much, has been discontinued.) Or purchase the Cruze I have on lease now. Joyce has the patience of a saint. She worked out the financials for both options. She let me test drive the Trax (which I surprisingly liked a lot - I didnt think I would like an SUV). She talked to me about all of my options, and I didnt feel pressured one bit. She let me take my time in deciding, without influencing me one way or the other. Obviously, she would have liked me to do a new lease, but I decided to buy out my current one. When the time comes to trade in this car that I have, I will definitely go straight to Joyce. I trust her and, with her, I feel like the decisions are mine. Thanks, Joyce! Im happy with my choice. :-D

Excellent experience thanks to Eric Mendoza.....he was amazing, very friendly, explained everything simply and thoroughly. Made it seem like we knew him for years.....not typical with car dealers. Went to other vehicle dealers and got the same thing regarding deals....best we can do. Erik said the same thing but he was the only dealer that actually took the time to negotiate and both parties were satisfied. This was by far the best car buying experience Ive experienced.

The dealer Juan didn’t want to start the process with more than 1000 down? We wanted to put 4000- then he ended up taking only 100 on a debit card.. he said it was policy??Then the finance director told us our credit score was 388.I looked at his paper and he was looking at ANOTHER CUSTOMERS report!He treated us like trash all because he can’t keep his paper work in orderWe went to Nissan and they said our credit was 652Bunch of crocks just trying to add on fees for “poor credit” which we didn’t haveWe got a car with Bronx Nissan at 4% interest when these guys where trying to rob us.
I initially ordered parts from their website to be installed at the dealer, they never received the order I had to call them and forward them the confirmation email after a week and then wait an additional week for the parts to come in then when I brought in the car I was would take a few days left it on a Wednesday was called several times told it would be ready by the weekend when I called back they gave me some excuse about it being done but someone has to look it over it would be done by Monday. I call Monday they rudely told me it would be ready Tuesday never called me I had to call again and pick it up Tuesday. Then the cherry on top is they stole my original floor mats and bow tie for what I assume to be spare parts claiming they didn’t know I wanted to keep them and refuse to give them back to me. I am livid and will never purchase from this dealer again. Not to mention the several attempts to rip me off on the initial purchase of the car.

I was surprised at how extremely fast they were, I showed up 5 min early for my appointment and saw a couple cars thinking this was going to be an all day thing, but nope. The nice lady up front (I believe her name is Amana Maraj) asked me what the issue was, I explained it to her and she took good care of me. Everything was covered under warranty. She made sure they fixed the exact issue I was complaining about, the mechanics left the car clean and spotless, I was completely satisfied with this visit, I’ll be going there again for service.

Brought my vehicle in for its first service, the staff were very friendly and polite. The technicians completed the work quickly. I purchased an excesary from Chevy, but my service advisor told me they couldnt install it because it was a difficult process, Why would Chevy sell items their dealerships cant install?
I recently purchased my first car (pre-owned Jeep Renegade) with Sammy from East Hills Chevy. My experience before coming here had been extremely frustrating, other dealerships were impossible to contact, they did not disclose all dealership fees until you had already put down a deposit, intimidation tactics, etc. When I called East Hills Chevy the first time Sammy picked up the phone and was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions very honestly and they were able to fit me in for a test drive the next day. I was in the area 45 minutes before my appointment so I figured I’d just drop by to see if they were available and Sammy brought the car around for me right away and told me the route for the test drive and taught me the basics of the car. I came back from the test drive and Sammy went through the pricing, and what was so refreshing, was the fees he told me about over the phone were the same ones that he showed me in the office. Also, I mentioned a recall of the powertrain software I saw on the autocheck report, and while they were running my credit, he brought this to the Jeep dealership in the area for me and had it taken care of right there! There was no pressure to buy, the car was well priced, Sammy was super honest about the fees and answered all my questions thoroughly and with so much patience (I had a lot of questions), and I drove away with my first car a few hours after I walked in! I would definitely recommend checking out East Hills Chevy, and ask for Sammy!

2022-06-01Honestly, the service itself that was done on the car was fine, no complaints. But I will say that I have owned cars from other companies/brands and I thought the customer service was pretty terrible. I dont need a super enthusiastic or crazy spunky person, but some eye contact and a bit of life while they speak to me (or anyone) would be nice.I had asked that my tires be rotated since I have already driven 10k miles on it, and the guy said well if you really think you need to. He looked at the stats on the car. Its a free service. Why wouldnt you just offer it? Where is the care for my car in your hands? What if I didnt know to ask? I am coming to Chevy, the home base, instead of someone else, somewhere else. I should be able to trust you guys above anyone. But this wasnt a great first impression of the service side.And I was reluctant to come at all, after my sales side.This is my second Chevy and I had a great experience with my previous dealer, so I dont know if I got lucky there or unlucky here.
