I love this park its beautiful peaceful and relaxing
Went to a Rise fund raiser for their pantry that feeds the hungry. There were live bands and we ate a late lunch at the Bayside Clam Bar.
A beautiful spot with wonderful views. Quietly tucked away, this is definitely a locals only locale to get away from the busy Main street. Clams were fresh and the tuna burger was perfect. Along with some margaritas this is a great place for a fun time without all the shishi nonsense. With live music all season long and an outdoor bar means that Ill be coming back quite a few times this summer.
Great docking space. Security gate pass required for Eastern Anglers club.

Parking an absolute nightmare during sports events. Some parking lot flooding. Some trash all over.

Actually went to the bar/restaurant there Bayside Clam Bar & Grill. It was nice to look at the water before going into the restaurant (especially since covid). It was nice being around people, socializing and having interaction with other people. It felt almost back to normal.
Brand new playground. Sand is clean. Water never has big waves
I love East Islip Marina I have been going there since I was a baby. I always have a great time there.
Sign says Beach is closed for swimming, but that didnt stop us. Caution, lots of big rocks and some glass on the sand.
Nice playground for kids and some fields. Smaller park but there is a place to eat, a beach (during the season), and the previously mentioned playground.

Fantastic, I wish I had known about this place sooner. Service was fantastic, beer selection was a little underwhelming. Live music, beautiful scenery, AMAZING food. No indoor seating, but its right on the great South Bay, totally recommend going. Fair warning, the road leading can get wet (read; flooded) during high tide.

I would give a higher rating but this place is for residents of Islip only. It would be nice to be able to walk along the ocean front. It is a beautiful place.You can visit the seafood restaurant if you dont live in Islip. The food is very good and is medium priced.

Nice place to go for a walk along the water. Also to deer watch. Great at dusk to sit and just hang out with family. Nice covered pavilion to bbq on and eat dinner by the water.
I was very upset that they were so many people in one place not wearing masks they must have been about 75 people near the bar area with no masks and I was upset. But I love the beach there is very quiet and peaceful usually

Nice place to have a walk by the water when the weather is nice. Dont forget to bring your Recreation Card, or opt for stopping by the Bayside Clam & Grill Bar in the park to have a good time. During the summer months, check out some beach volleyball.
Very pretty tucked away Marina and park. I like to go there to sit along the small beach area by the bay. Lots of free parking and its usually busy. There is also a casual restaurant with outdoor seating. Love it!

This a nice marina operated by the Town of Islip in East Islip. Besides docking your boat here, there is a small beach area, playground & ball fields. The Bayside Clam & Grill Bar is here for decent food & drinks. Need to have the Town Resident card to get past the security guard booth.
So peaceful!,..me and my girl are there enjoying views of water and being able to get away from lifes issues,..love feeding the deer!,..even tho,..we aint allowed!,lol
I would go here everyday I worked with my dad the time we spent there is amazing eating food chilling watching the wavesWhile the boats go up and downThe smell of low tide and the buzz of bees playing in the salty air really being a man to tears i miss it so much and cant wait till I can see my dad againWhen he gets home tonight I only work 1 day now
All so quiet not too many people fishing and crabbing walking there is a bar for some afternoon drinky-
I just wish they took better care or the marina beaches and made them more enjoyable for the kids the water and sand there is ALWAYS dirty..besides that i guess its a relaxing beautiful place
Very nice and quiet compared to other parks.I like the view and cool breeze.i do not recommend walking bare feet on the beach though.

There is a nice view across the bay where you can see the lighthouse and the Robert Moses bridges, the Northside of the Fire Island towns. I like to bring my bonoquelers and theres great sunsets for pictures too!
Love to just go and sit and think.... Also crabbing is great here.. Also my husband proposed to me here. Our favorite place 💖

Free parking in the off season. There is a pavilion, two piers, a beach, wet ball park, and a playground for older children. There is also a seaside restaurant during the summer months.
Absolutely lovely South Shore spot. The marina boasts wooden benches, wooden docks built out into the Great South Bay, a Marina, boat slips, baseball fields, and beautiful views of the Great South Bay.

2022-05-24Went to bayside clam and bar grill. Restaurant located in the marina. They just reopened for out door dinning due to covid 19. My first night out this summer. Good food but they havent worked out a proper seating and waiter procedure with social distancing. Nice marina but nothing much else there unless you want to moor your boat.4/22 They are open for the season with a limited menu. Live music and full menu starts in June. Regular staff is back, Tracy, John, Heather. Looking forward to a nice long island summer.There has been a number of people asking if dogs are allowed. There are signs at the entrance to the Marina saying no dogs allowed. Im at the bayside clam bar now. Located in the marina and there are three dogs here. All well behaved. Nice complements to the normal clientele. If your dog is not exceptionally well behaved do not bring it here. You will screw it up for those that come and relax with there friends. FYI, I do not own a dog.

2021-04-15The views of the bay are beautiful. I just wished that the actual park was cleaner. The parking lot and sitting area was littered with trash. If the trash was picked up it would be a really nice place to enjoy because the views are really nice due to the fact that the park is Bayside.

2022-05-21Its a great marina everyone.HOWEVER ITS NEVER BEEN A DRAG STRIP. I have lived in this neighborhood my entire life . There is alot of animals on the road ,and also a ton of families live in the area .its still a residential neighborhood.... It should be treated as such .

2020-01-26This park is a magical spot on the island! Its a great spot for a family on a budget to not only be by the peaceful waters, but there are deer everywhere! They are very friendly deer and some come right up to your car! Plenty of running space for the kids and exploration to be done! I had a great time even in the cold air. Be sure to bring some treats for the deer when you come because they are irresistible!
