Unfortunately, the negative experiences outweighed the positive ones at East Meadow Soccer Club. Leadership should refresh themselves on their own mission statement, especially the part on teaching good sportsmanship and ensuring a positive experience. The coaching, especially in the travel teams, was abysmal in that respect and they either need further training, should not coach at all, or leadership needs to step down. Playing time is heavily skewed toward the children of parent coaches and parent coordinators, regardless of their ability or behavior on the field. Would you want that for your child, especially considering the very high fees East Meadow Soccer Club charges in comparison to the many other high quality, reasonably priced soccer clubs on Long Island, with better coaching, and team spirit? Not recommended.

We had a horrible experience. A couple of families left at the beginning of the season. The coach was very rude to the kids, never motivated them only put down instead of building them up. Hardly showed up to games, another coach was sent instead whom didnt know the kids and it gave kids no moral. I would never recommend this club to anyone who loves their child.

Terrible. kids do tryouts but EMSC never call you back for the results, they secretly select the best players because their objective is not to train your kid, oh no… their objective is to WIN. Even when in their website says developmental, travel, etc.….if your kid is not the best and he wants to improve, this IS NOT THE BEST SOCCER TEAM.Today I received an email saying that they still have some spots,,,but they missed to add...ONLY FOR ADVANCED KIDS
