We were recommended to East Village Green by a friend and were very happy with our experience. We brought our little man here to get groomed, and the staff was great throughout the entire process. Our little guy was rescued and can be very fearful. Sue and the rest of the staff were so patient and wonderful with him. He was like a new man when it was time to go home! Thank you to the staff for being so kind and coming to work during these unprecedented times. You are appreciated!
My poor Harley was not acting right and the look in her eye told me take her to the vet only problem is my vet was not close and also closed! I jumped online saw their # and called. They got me right in. The staff was beyond nice & the vet Dr. Robinson was wonderful. He told me everything he wanted to do and the cost b4 doing it which I appreciated. His bedside manner was fabulous and I had no problem trusting him to care for my Harley. Thankfully she is ok and woke up feeling much better!!! Thank you
Dr. Blonder and his staff are so wonderful and I cant express enough how grateful I am to have him as my dogs veterinarian. My Penny is an older dog now and thus has been needing more treatment. From the first appointment Dr Blonder was fantastic. He did not want to rush into giving her surgery for her teeth because of her age which is something most other vets were pushing me to do. He said he wanted to get to know Penny and evaluate if it was worth the risks. Penny has been acting strangely and after a bunch of tests Dr Blonder diagnosed her with Cushings disease. He is so responsive and really takes time to explain everything very well and help come up with the course of treatment that he thinks is best for her. I have had a few emergencies with her now that Dr Blonder has always been responsive and has gone out of his way to make sure that shes comfortable. If you are looking for a kind and caring doctor for your fur babies look no further than the East Village Green.
I have 4 dogs and have been to so many different vets! No one comes close to East Village Green animal hospital. The staff is super nice and the vets are outstanding. Prices are great and the vets do NOT make you do tests or things you don’t need so you save money! They care about your pets deeply. I highly recommend them!
I cannot begin to say how good of an experience I had at this place, I had a very scary situation with my for baby, and her staff from the moment I called to the moment I arrived at the place could not have been more helpful, more compassionate, and more courteous. The veterinarian took the time to carefully and gently analyze what was wrong with my little one, they were very good with explaining what was going on how to provide them the medicine and with checking up on us with a follow up
They have the cutest animals on display and kittens for adoption. Went there with my cat and they healed him. It feels like theyre always trying to sell you something; a little on the pricey side. But they did the job right, and their vets are knowledgeable and their staff are very friendly (and they love animals)! In the future I might check out another vet nearby to compair.
The staff at east village green animal hospital are wonderful. My dog had been in renal failure since March and I had to bring her in for fluids 6 days a week. Every time I brought her in for her treatment, the staff greeted her and made the transition into end of life care as comforting as possible. When it was time to put our precious pup to rest, the staff once again exceeded my expectations when it came to providing care. During one of the worst experiences of my life I was met with compassion, professionalism, and an all around wonderful group of people. I will forever be grateful to the East Village Green staff for taking such good care of my dog and giving me and my family a sense of comfort when we needed it the most. Sue, Dr. Robinson, and all the girls in the office are unmatched when it comes to care, dedication, and professionalism. - Maureen, Cady, and Brian
This Facility is NOT following social distancing guidelines. All staff members are not wearing masks, or are wearing it below their chin. When we first walked in we were ignored by the front desk receptionists. Both women did not acknowledge us. After a few minutes of standing their with confusion, we were greeted by a young woman who was very nice and took our paper work. Furthermore, when we waited for the doctor, the doctor came out and starting watching the television. The doctor began making political remarks that some may find VERY offensive and not appropriate. We tried to brush that aside then she instructed us to follow her to the exam room. As we started to follow her she shut the door in our face and we stood their confused. We immediately left the facility. Another side note, this place smells horrible and the floors were not clean. PLEASE do yourself a favor and not spend your money here.
The Doctors there are very knowledgeable, responsible and kind hearted. I feel very safe there and the reception desk is very kind and efficient! It is clean (for someone with pet dander allergies) I never have a problem at the vet, which is a big concern and problem of the past. But at East village Green animal hospital, I have never had a problem. Fairly priced and highly recommend!
A lot of history here with my pet kids over the years! They were compassionate doctors! Price is mid to high (as expected for most veterinarians).. Well worth the great care the animals get. They often have kittens for adoption. Place is very clean. Ive been using Dr. Neirenberg and Dr. Blonder for years! Highly recommend!!!
I can’t say enough good things about EVGAH! They have taken amazing care of my dogs (and me) over the past three years. We even rescued our beloved Max from them. They are there for us at all times of the day or night and I can’t ask for better care. Sue, Lisa, Margaret, Dottie, Dr. Robinson, Dr. Debbie and Dr. Blonder are all amazing!
I want to thank Sue and all the ladies at this fine establishment. I’ve been procrastinating about bringing my dog 🐶 Banks for a salon visit ever since his last visit to another office went bad. Since my dog is a Husky(a lot of hair!)and I told Sue about his last encounter she told me not to worry. Well-they called in a very timely manner and when I encountered my dog 🐕 he was almost unrecognizable! She must have gotten 20 bags 💼 of hair off of him ! He also looked so handsome with his tie on . Beautiful job Sue you have a new costumer . 🐶👌
Friendly staff. Friendly Dr. (I’ve only seen Dr Robinson). He has a genuine disposition around our dog and seems to care for our concerns. The office is orderly but a little outdated. They have a few different caged animals in the lobby which makes your wait time entertaining.A small annoyance was the “medical waste disposal fee” of $7. The examination fee for our visit was $45 (since this was a “recheck” appointment — a regular exam fee is closer to $70 range). I know this is a “small” annoyance but it’s the principle: If I’m being charged for a Veterinarian to look at my dog, shouldn’t the disposal of any gloves, thermometer covers, or anything alike be covered in that exam fee? Had I known this was going to be an added charge just to take my dogs temperature today, I would’ve asked to take whatever trash they occurred during our visit and disposed of it at home therefore avoiding the $7 trash fee.Again, I appreciate the friendliness of the staff @ East Village Green Animal Hospital.
Our Big Old Lab Lacey passed away a year ago this past summer but we used to have Dr. Debbie make house calls to see our girl. She was too big and ill to get in the car and the stress of the short ride made her almost pass out therefore when we found out about this service we were so happy. Dr. Debbie took such wonderful care of Lacey and even got her weight within an acceptable norm by picking up on the fact her Thyroid was extremely under active. She loved her so much and made us feel wonderful how she took such wonderful care of her in our home. It was so much less stressful for Lacey. The tech that came with here was so sweet and they were always completely prepared for whatever she needed. The biggest thing that was offered by them though was in Laceys final days the outpouring of love the entire staff showed for her by either calling to check up on her or listening to stories of what a wonderful girl and life Lacey had. Dr. Debbie came to our home and prepared us for her final steps to the Rainbow Bridge. We felt so terrible it didn’t have to happen durning regular business hours but Lacey chose her own time to go to heaven and we appreciate Dr. Debbie coming on her own to do that. We received a lovely letter, paw print with her hair attached and also seeds to plant to remind us of new life after death. Dr. Debbie spent over 2 hours here with us of her own time helping us to accept what suddenly happened. I wish to say the whole staff over the years that we were customers of East Village Green were wonderful , always fit you in no matter what and Sue was one of the most proficient workers I ever saw. I think she knew each employees job inside and out because at a. moments notice she could fill in for anyone. I only took off one star because it is so old and could use to be updated. They obviously are doing a wonderful business therefore I feel they should put back into the aesthetics of the business.
Very nice doctors, but my dog was recently operated on by one of the doctors to remove bladder stones only to find three weeks later he still had large stones inside him. Also never told he had a history of hypoglycemia. Poor follow through and poor offer to resolve neglect surgery. I can never go back
After almost 15 1/2 years our beloved dog Taylor needed to be put to sleep. The sympathetic caring and love given to Taylor and our family went so much beyond just doing their jobs. Dr Deborah Nearenberg and the entire staff’s compassion, patience, and LOVE made our difficult time easier. You can not ask for or find a better Veterinarian or staff!!
I started going here last year when my cat Clyde first became ill. The reason for my choice of this establishment was that I had been told that a wonderful vet named Dr Kuperschmid was now a vet here. Clyde was seen by Dr. Kuperschmid and I was grateful for her tireless efforts to make my Clyde whole again. Dr. Kuperschmid is no stranger to my family, as many years ago she also treated my cat Tunis who had cancer. Shes a very knowledgeable and compassionate soul and Im grateful for all the treatment that she gave to all the cats in my family over the years. I would recommend this establishment. I also found the vet techs and office staff to be friendly and kind.

2021-11-06First and foremost, the staff is great.. They truly care! Amanda is one of the hardest working people I know. She is fabulous and really came through for me.As for the doctors, Dr. Debby is absolutely fabulous and is the best veterinarian Ive ever known. She knew exactly what to do when my cat Bella was sick whereas my old vets office basically did the standard routine as they drained my bank account. Dr. Debby saved Bellas life. She is the modern day Dr. Dolittle. I am eternally grateful for her wisdom, kindness and compassion. This office has very reasonable prices on all food, medicine, etc. I am so happy to have found them. They are the best on Long Island! 😺🐕🐰🦜🐥🐍🦎❤

2021-10-20Great office staff and great doctors! We have a difficult dog - he is not a fan of humans or other animals. Other places either would not see him, or wanted us to drug him first. Not here...docs just dive right in and take care of him. Clean and neat offices and waiting areas and convenient parking. Overall, quality care.

2021-02-21First time here with my extremely nervous and anxious chihuahua. Dr. Nearenberg and her staff were wonderful. Kathleen is like a dog whisperer, she was able to keep my dog calm and manageable. I cant say enough good things about the whole experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Nearenberg and her staff.

2021-03-25Dr. Blonder and the entire staff our so WONDERFUL! We went there with our dog who was very ill and they tried everything to help extend her life. Mia was very sick and wasn’t going to live much longer but Dr. Blonder gave us a little more time with her😢 She loved Dr. Blonder and the staff. There were many times I had to contact Dr. Blonder after hours and he would call me or text me back ASAP. When our Mia passed at home I called him on his cell and he texted me and notified his staff to come out when we arrived so we didn’t have to go through the main entrance one of the staff came out and took Mia and she had so much compassion when she took her from us for the last time.We now have a new puppy Nellie Mae who loves them too! I’ve never experienced such a warm and friendly veterinary office where they’re so helpful, informative, very inexpensive, always courteous even when busy to answer my questions and concerns. They even send in the insurance claims for you which is a big help and help the senior citizens by issuing them a discount. Thanks to all of the staff at East Village Green!

2019-11-05Very dissatisfied with the way they told us the tests needed to be done on a 16 year old cat . Never suggested that she was old and chances were not in her favor . $3500.00 and less than 12 hours after we brought her there she passed away .
