Shhh! The staff speaks really loud. It’s a library, and they should respect the “be quiet” sign. Parents let their kids run around. The bathroom also smells bad. Other that that, not a bad space.

Great system for safe book pick-up! I reserved books online, called ahead to reserve a pick-up time, and when I got there my books were packaged and sitting on a table for me. Easy and safe!

Update 7/14/2020 - During recent COVID pandemic library staff has figured out a novel way to continue supporting the community with great with touch check out system. My kids are grateful to have an avenue to keep busy during the summer vacations.Great library, love it loads. My kids go there as often as we can and can easily spend few hours reading books, playing with soft toys or games on the computer. The staff is very friendly and informative as well as eager to help.

I love that this library has more events on their schedule than many other nearby libraries. I mean free yoga? Thats so rare in Westchester! I also really like the staff - very helpful and approachable. The used book store downstairs has a good selection as well. My 1 qualm is I wish there were some more events going on - though this is the best in that field as far as Westchester library events go!

Just voted there, 40 minutes wait this morning very organized ... I live in New RochelleWhat I didnt like was that parking inforcement was writing tickets on days as important as these in the lot that the library sits is a residences only lot...

I would give this place negative 5 stars if that was possible. Pretentious staff give you dirty looks when you walk in the door. Staff is incapable of doing their job. I returned a book on time and somehow it was failed to be checked back into the computer system. I’ll go to a book store and pay money to buy a book before I pay a nickel for a library fine to this place.

My son asked the woman at the desk for help finding the book The strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. She pointed him in the general direction. Later she then went up to his table where he was tutoring another African American boy and asked which one of them had asked her for the book ( because she couldnt tell them apart) and suggested that they look in another library when they go back to where they came from.

Very dissatisfied with the way the eclipse event was handled. The flyer stated that sunglasses would be handed out at 2pm. Arrived at the library at 1: 30pm and was informed that tickets for the event were given out at 1pm. Extreme favoritism needs to stop! I am an ardent supporter of the events at this library. Spending in excess of $100 At your fall tag sale for example. This wont be happening this year I can assure you! Perhaps those who received the tickets ahead of time will! I dont expected preferential treatment only fair treatment.

First: One of the best libraries in the country imo (or at least the wls is)Second: Johnathan is the best help. If you need an older edition of a specific book he will find it for you. Above and beyond. If you need real help with something hes usually in the childrens section but totally worth the short walk over there.
