Mike has got to be one of best people as far as the sale of ANYTHING goes. I bought a low rider S from him in 2016, only to get hit by a 17 year old texting and driving 3 months later and have it totaled. Long story short I thought Id never own my dream bike again as they are rare and price driven due to being a special model and last Dyna. Eastern Harley got one in used on a trade in and Immediately drove there and expressed my interest in getting back on my old bike again. Mike worked with me to go over and redo all the parts on the bike to make it exactly like it was when it was totalled (bars, lights, brake lines, forward controls etc). Insanely fair priced and absolutely accommodating. Thank you for making it possible to be back on the bike of my dreams again. These guys shoot straight from the hip, no gimmicks no bs. Most competitive prices and quality work on the island.
Not reputable!I purchased here a year ago and was clearly told by my salesman (Mike), who is the son of the owner, that my first 1000 mile service was covered on them and that they do this for all of their new riders.Of course now that Im ready to have my bike serviced they wont honor this and go on to tell me that they never have or never would even make that offer to anyone.My word is my bond but that is clearly not the mentality of the people that own and work at this dealership. If youre looking to buy a bike, get service, or buy apparel, I wouldnt recommend this Harley dealer.
Bought a brand new 2016 Roadglide Special from Mike. Nothing but problems but I don’t blame Mike at all, he’s a great guy, did everything in his power to help me, just somehow ended up with a headache bike from the factory. Probably would never buy another Harley again but if your a Harley person Mike is the right guy to see
Horrible !!! WE could not test drive a bike so we went to New London CT and purchased a new ultra low the same day. when I went into Riverheads store to buy road pegs the old man(owner) basically said he remembered me and asked where did webuy a bike. When I told him Famous Mikes he said dont bother to bring your bike here for service, i have time only for my customers.. I basically left my stuff on the counter and walked out. Way to lose another customer Eastern Harley..
First time ever going to any Harley dealer, The person that helped me thought I was crazy questioning the price on a used bike that I seen for less money on marketplace. Now I see why Ive never been to a Harley dealer before.
In the market for a new motorcycle. Stopped at maximum accross the street allowed to sit on any bike customer friendly great time then decided to go look at a new harley wasnt even allowed in the showroom to sit on bikes. Drive an m50 boulevard now cash in pocket. Was told gotta know what model harley im looking at. Asked to sit and see because im a big guy and was denied. Never again you lost my business. Went back accross the street got a boulevard m109r. Shame on you harley
Im not one to have unrealistic expectations unlike some of the other reviews on here, but i have to say, these guys are great. I purchased a 2016 Fat Boy Lo from Mike (the owner) back in June and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. A hassle free experience, Mike was not pushy, nor were anyone else within his staff. Because of a time frame restriction, I did not want to pick up my new bike without my permit. While it was the only Denim Black Fat Boy Lo they had, he had no problem holding the bike for me for almost a month. I work in the Automotive industry and this is otherwise unheard of. he handled the whole transaction for me, from the paperwork, to auto approval through the bank. Hell, I didnt even have to fill out a credit app. I just went to the harley website, applied online, and flagged them as the dealer. the next day i walked in, mike printed out the approval and away we went. ::WARNING:: THIS IS A TRUE MOM AND POP SHOP EXPERIENCE. Which I thought was great. I wasnt looking for some watered down, corporate, do everything to kiss the customers ass so they dont give us a bad review online experience. When I walk into a Harley Dealer, I want so smell the must of leather, feel the chill of steel. I forget the dogs name but they even have an old sleepy yellow lab fumbling around the joint. This type of atmosphere really sets a first time buyer at ease. Relaxed, comfortable, and painless. As it turns out, Mikes father sold my father his 1989 Sportster back when they had the location in Westhampton! I was shocked when my mother (my ride) walked in with me and shook hands with him and they knew each other! small world. Either way, dont listen to the rest of these yuppies on here, these are some straightforward dudes who are going to treat you like you treat them. walk in like and idiot and im sure theyll treat you like one because, well... you probably deserve it.
Lets start with the good part. The people are very friendly. Everyone said hello or hi. Other then that, there is no reason to go here. The outside of the building looks old and outdated. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted by a drooling dog. I love dogs and have 3 large dogs at home , but I dont need to see them in a HD dealership. They had another smaller dog in a crate in the store. All the bikes were dusty and some had dog hair on them. I couldnt even walk thru the store. It was raining and most of the customer bikes were inside. The roof had several leaks throughout the store.Some leaks had buckets under them and other didnt. I picked up a shirt that was wet from a roof leak. There was a table in the back by the part section, that had paperwork everywhere. Everything in parts section was covered in dust. I have never in my life seen an HD dealership look like this. After visiting a 100 or so HD dealerships, this was the worst. Its truly ashame because the people are very nice.
Nasty & Unwelcoming! I am a Harley rider & owner & have been to many Harley Dealerships throughout NY. I have never felt so uninvited and uncomfortable interacting with a Harley representative ( I believe he was the owner) as I did walking into Eastern Harley. Rude responses to questions. The gentleman was more concerned about his bike being scuffed by anyone attempting to respectfully & carefully sit on it rather than attempting to be helpful and possibly making a sale. Too bad! Both my brother and I are in the market & had cash in hand...I would not spend a dime at this dealership. Consumer beware!!

Ive been to every HD dealer on Long Island. Eastern Harley is by far the easiest to deal with. No pressure, no forcing you to buy extras. The deal is the deal. I would not hesitate to make another purchase and send all my riding friends to them. Thank you...my 15 Limited is the best bike Ive ever owned
I don’t know they have always been nice but the other day I foolishly left my lights on while I was at the doctor right down the road. I have Hog roadside assistance but they couldn’t find anyone to come out. And I asked Mike if he could have someone come jump me. Nope I need to test it and I don’t have anyone so much for Harley brotherhood
I walked into this dealership for some information and maybe a test ride (I later found out insurance doesnt let them do test rides). There was no one around, and then when I finally found someone to speak to, he sat in a chair the whole time and didnt even come out to the floor to help me. I explained to him that I was a first time buyer and I wanted someInformation about the differences between two bikes and his answer was, theyre different bikes. I would never buy a motorcycle from this place or even recommend anyone come to this store.
The outside is uninviting and the inside hasnt been cleaned since ??? The selection of T-shirts isnt much and there isnt anyone there to help you out, ever. The guys behind the counter are nice most times. I wouldnt buy a bike there if you paid Me!! The salesmen are dishonest at best.
The place is uninviting...went inside though and the people were pretty nice. Place seemed disorganized, looked at the shirts and they are just hanging on hangers, no display like at many other dealers. Found a button down shirt I liked, but it had dog hair on it. That is when my grandson noticed the big dog walking around the store. Decided to leave. I didnt want to have to clean everything before packing it to leave.
Hi I purchased a Street Glide Special today from Mike he was very receptive too entertaining all of my questions and boy I asked him a lot. he was very informative and had a lot of patience with me overall it was a nice experience. I would definitely recommend Eastern Harley Davidson in Riverhead.

Called and spoke to mike asked him if they have a harley street 750 in stock to sell that I can pick up TODAY I live an hour and a half from this harley dealer. We get there and the older man (mikes father) says we cant buy it yet bc he wants to show it to people and he doesnt want to sell the bike yet. Told him we called and asked this specifically and he said he doesnt care he want to show it to people. Worst business model I have ever heard of. He was very rude and would not recommend this harley to anyone.
Todd in the back is awesome straight forward and no bullshit guy he will tell you how it is and what needs to be done. Mike the owners son will answer and help you make any bike your bike how you want it and the style and will bend over backwards to help you out.Now to all people saying staff is rude welcome to true blooded no games, no bullshit spitting real world people if you need to be treated like a baby and be spoon feeded happy feelings, go ride a Vespa while wearing your skinny jeans while listing to opera music.
Harley-Davidson is the number one bike in the USA. If youre in Suffolk County in Riverhead stop by take a look great showroom . Harley had a great assortment of different bikes and the prices were the the best around.
Called the other morning in search of a battery for my 93 dyna. The gentleman who answered the phone was very kind & checked to see if they had one in stock (they did). Swung by the shop later that day and picked it up. If Im ever in the market for a newer Harley Ill definitely be back! For now Ill be back for parts :)
Bought a 2016 Street bob from them and it was quick and painless. Bike was ready for me bright and early the next morning and there was never any pressure to do any of it. Great honest guys

Great and honest service. Eastern is a family owned and operated business, they are honest and fair when dealing with you. Either sales or service will tell exactly what is needed and their fees are more than reasonable. I would highly recommend you to purchase new or service and upgrade at Eastern HD
Brought my ultra in for repairs and Todd was very helpful , as waiting went to showroom and bought 2016 Fat Boy Special and Mike couldnt have done it better. An overall a great experience from front to back of the store.

On June 25, 2016 in the morning my boyfriends motorcycle broke down, we went to this dealership and the garage was full. As a mechanic the service guy passed me a manual and tools to diagnose the problem and it was a stator burn problem. After discussion that the problem was identified and he had the parts in stock, he agreed to enter the motorcycle in the garage and replace the startor. less than 2 hours the motorcycle was repaired. In addition the amount of the invoice was very reasonable. I highly recommend this dealer. We are Quebecers who were passing through the island. bravo for the good service!

2021-12-11Great place. Bought my first Iron 883 here months ago. Everything was taken care of.Had an issue with ignition switch and it was taken care of as soon as possible. On a side note it can take time to get parts in, but everyone is upfront about that. Great place with a great staff.👍

2022-04-11I called looking for an inspection cover for an older touring model bike. The man that answered asked after I gave him the part number what is that I told him again and he said that doesnt exist. I asked if I was speaking to the Parts department and he immediately started SCREAMING at me via phone call saying IM THE OWNER AND IVE BEEN WORKING WITH BIKES 30 YEARS I KNOW EVERY PART ON A HARLEY AND THAT DOESNT EXISTafter screaming for a while more he hung up on me.An inspection cover is on bikes that dont have self adjusting chain tensioners. That way you could INSPECT the chain tensioner without removing the whole primary.If your OWNER screams at customers and knows this little about bikes then you dont care about Harleys or customer service. You treated me like garbage and I hope you lose business.

2019-08-01I love this place!! Family owned and operated. When I walk in Mike will always go out of his way to say hello to my family. When I purchased my 2018 Softail Slim, Mike couldnt have made it any easier for me. My wife doesnt ride and she even felt good about the deal. He isnt pushy at all trying to make the sale and the prices on parts and labor is the best I have ever seen!! My bike is completely custom and they have done all the work. When people ask who did the work and say Eastern Harley, I always get the same reaction (WOW, Im surprised Harley does that kind of custom work) I have never had to wait weeks to get my bike back and their work is very clean!! Mike will always have my business!!!

I had gotten a great price on a new bike from a dealer down south i called Suffolk Harley and they wouldnt come close then i called Mike at eastern Harley and he matched the price and there were no hidden surprises. 2020-02-23I just stopped into this place to see it as I was passing by. Good amount of used bikes outside for sale. Newer models inside. Inside looks like its 1970s style. I dont mean it was purposefully done. I mean it hasnt been changed since the 70s. Doesnt matter though. The owner was the nicest guy. Loves to talk. His Golden retriever was just kinds lying around. Cool friendly dog. His son was also knowledgeable. He seemed to be busy getting things done but still took time out to say hello and shoot the poop for a bit. Thinking I might take a ride out this spring and see what leftovers they have. Just because they were so personable.

2015-05-31I see 4 other reviews on this place and felt obligated to leave my comments. Mike (the owner) is a very straight forward and honest guy. I felt comfortable speaking to him and asking him questions about my bike. I never felt as thou I was just another sale like in other dealerships. His prices are the best around and I recommend you go see him before making a purchase anywhere else.
