My Pastor had the Church 98th Anniversary today ❤️. The place was beautiful and well organized. The servers was magnificent!!!! Thank you so much. Im thinking about having my birthday party there too., itll be September 18th. Im trying to find out how can I make the reservations there? Please help me 🙏. Thank you 😊.
My wedding reception was held at the Eastwood Manor over 20 years ago. The decor have change over the years, but their amazing service and professionalism have remained steadfast. The food is also amazing. I recently attended 2 Repass dinners at this establishment and I was extremely impressed with their west indian cuisine. All the guests, mostly west Indians praised the food. That, coming from island folks is a really impressive.
My family and I had a repass here 4/27, everything was great. The staff were so kind and attentive to our guests. Theres one particular staff Boucher, who used his personal phone to play music for us, he expressed his condolences, and just made the experience cheerful despite the purpose of the event. Thank you Eastwood Manor for the hospitality in our moment of grief.
I had my wedding reception here in the Grand Ballroom recently and worked with Rich to plan. Rich worked with me and kept me updated on all I needed to know concerning covid restrictions. He was also very easy to work with and coordinate with in relation to my vendors (decor, dj, 360 video booth etc.). And as far as weddings are concerned, Eastwood Manor is quite affordable! On my wedding day everything was amazing! Rich and his staff were very attentive, the food was fantastic, and all my guests left happy and satisfied. I did not hear one complaint about the day; I have only received praises upon praises for a beautiful wedding reception. For that, I’m extremely grateful!Moving forward, I would not hesitate to have any of my future events at Eastwood Manor. In fact, they will always be my first consideration!
Had my moms wedding ceremony and reception there on June 19th 2022 and everything was perfect, from Richard at the office who worked with us from the beginning, to the staff and team of waiters who were very accommodating and pleasant. The head waiter, Boucher ran a tight ship and was so courteous and made sure everything ran smoothly. It was wonderful and I would definitely recommend them and they will definitely be my go to venue for my bronx events.
If you have any other venue in mind, please go there. Eastwood manor is truly one of the worst venues I have ever been too. I’ve been going for many years and I always have many problems with the Albanian staff. They are truly the worst and unprofessional and rude men you will ever meet. They were fooling around with beer and it was noticeable when the kitchen doors would swing open. These Albanian men will not come to your table when you need or call for them, because they don’t want to do their job but rather sit around in the back. They were very racist and rude to their coworkers who were not Albanians of course, because they made those men do their job so the Albanian lazy men can sit around and drink beer in the back. Truly horrible which is very saddening because it’s not the place but the Albanian staff who get privilege to act unprofessional and very rude and ruin Eastwood’s reputation. So overall, Eastwood sucks and if you’re invited to a party there, I wish you the best and good luck.
Our family and friends came out in full force occupying every inch of this place comfortably. We ate some really good food, drank from either of the 2 bars situated at each entrance and danced the night away on the fairly large dance floor to the sounds of a hired DJ and phenomenal MC. Yes, Happy Birthday to my sister and 5 of her friends....cheers to you! Awesome party in an awesome venue. One other thing though for the establishment- please make sure all the lights in the ladies bathroom are turned on. Please and thank you!
No stars.. my brother got married there 5 years ago. The reception was good but they had the staff taking food from our trays for the guess . No biggie.., but the I seen a staff member placing a gallon in from of a camera and I said my daughter wants that ballon and he went and gave me a another ballon. Long story short they use that ballon to cover the camera and when the guest are in full party mood they went to robbed my brother on his wedding day of paper envelopes stuffed with cashed that people had giving him . We never found out who did it because the camera was there nor did we get any help or reimbursement what so ever. So I highly recommend not to get your wedding reception here..! Take my word go somewhere else . This was 5 years ago and they still do the same thing I heard!!
Took video here of a 70th birthday on 1/29, hours after a blizzard ended. Arrived about 8pm. Roads were a mess, as was parking, but the sidewalks were cleared and well maintained, making it easy to unload my gear. Bathrooms had just been freshly cleaned, and the entire venue looked well kept. Staff was professional, courteous, and knew what they were doing.
Eastwood Manor flawless every step of the way for my wedding and reception to Mary Williamson. All hands on deck when it came to staff making sure that me and my wife wanted for nothing, when the our day of coordinator canceled on us last minute and the staff all stepped in to make it happen from walking in to controlling the crowd. This goes not only for the night of but leading up to the night as well during food tasting to drink ordering (Boston) What else can I say about managers Michael & Richard but they are the dream team to have in your corner from accommodating room for wedding supplies and desert. Thank you
My experience at Eastwood Manor Caterers was truly fit for an royal gathering. The theme of my 50th Birthday Celebration was (Black Excellence Without Excuses). Eastwood Manor definitely meet my expectations and much love and honor to Douglas the maitre d for overseeing the food and having such grace and excellence. Its an honor to be able to say that everyone was impressed with the taste of the food in addition to be able to take some home at the end of the night. Eastwood=Excellence.
I went here for my coworkers Birthday Bashment and I had a great time. The space was great, the food was good to. I had the fish with vegetables and some of their penne a la vodka. Others at my table had oxtail and fried chicken and they enjoyed their meal as well. Its a nice little vibe to have a Birthday party or celebration. Our party had an open bar option and I had the Cranberry Vodka with lime all night and it was on point. I was definitely a little lit after 2 or 3 of those. I had a blast, thankfully I wasnt the one driving. It was good times and good vibes here. Thanks Eastwood Manor!
A place that holds several functions at once in different spaces, at times I found this a bit chaotic. Upon arriving there is someone seated to direct you. We were their for a wedding reception, family to the bride. We were suppose to be seated closer to the head table, but no one was there to direct this so it did not happen. Our waiter was excellent. Long and short, would attend a function there but would not hold one.
The staff were very warm in welcoming guests. Very attentive and outgoing to make sure our family had a memorable experience for their wedding. The decor was absolutely beautiful and the buffet was plentiful with just enough flavor for the carribean cuisine that was selected.
My family, friends and I celebrated my daughter recent graduation from college at Eastwood Manor Caterers. In my opinion they went above and beyond before and after. The staff was amazing in greeting all who attended professionally while friendly. Rob, my waiter for the evening was nothing short of AMAZING to me and my guest. The drinks were good and to save the best for the last - the FOOD / OMG (made on the premises) was FANTASTIC.- shout out to the COOKS. My guest was so impressed with the food, they thought I had the food catered in. Eastwood Manor REPRESENTED!!!!!!!!
So....this place was FANTASTIC! I have been to this venue on countless occasions, but this time was stellar! Talk about bringing back the old school feel of EXCEPTIONAL customer service! Boucher (hopefully I spelled his name correctly) was our lead hospitality specialist and he was outstanding! He made sure everything was perfect during our celebration. Strong customer service needs a great lead and he most certainly is the epitome. The experience from the wait staff brought this occasion to another level. Thank you and job well done!
They are great. Prices are fair service is best. Food is awesome. Do yourself a favor and book them i remember celebrating my prom in elementary school and jr high school. NOW i am celebrating my mothers in laws 60 Birthday celebration. Uo yo datr and love every moment of it. Seriously service is top notch 👌
I am rating mostly on food. The look and appearance of the place is great, the staff friendly and very helpful. The the hostess, manager, the man who managed our experience, food service was all top notch. The majority of the dishes was average except for one. The goat curry was great but even had too many bones to cut through. The chicken dishes was dry (no juiciness in the center) no spice (tasted like nothing) . The Mac and cheese, penne Ala vodka was good. I guess for all the pluses the fact the chicken being dry for me was a downer. I would give four stars if they add more gravy to the chicken dishes or seal in the flavor and not cut it early.
The banquet hall is beautiful and clean. The staff are wonderful, they cater to their guest. The only issue with this venue is the food!!! I been here several time and the food always taste spoiled mainly the rice. I have never seen anyone finish their food. The amount of food thrown away is sad. If the food was good guest would eat it. Nobody throws away oxtails, fried chicken and mac and cheese except here because its horrible!!! Please please revamp the food!!!!
I recently had my wedding at the Eastwood manor and it was great. I contacted Michael frantically at the last minute and he handled my special day with such care and compassion. Michael and Richard are both fantastic. They both made sure they answered calls and emails at a timely manner to ensure our event ran smoothly. The staff during my event was wonderful they didn’t miss a beat from my wedding party to my guest. Treated us like royalty!!!!! My husband and I were truly blessed with extraordinary host on our wedding day. The food was amazing my guest still talk about it. I would recommend Eastwood for all of your events if you are in NYC. Thank you again
A family member had their birthday celebration here. There is no free parking lot here. The venue had valet service. But it not be noted that it up to each venue and not the owner. 8nsode was nice huge hall. Restrooms located outside the ballroom. Beautiful hanging chandeliers and ceiling party lights for different ambient settings. Over all a nice building for different venues

My school had an event here and the food was good. My issue is the walls are very thin and we were holding an award ceremony so the music from the middle school prom next to us was making it very hard to hear! Space is used cleverly but it is kind of small in the waiting area. Overall a good place, just wish they were considerate to our event.
Service was poor. The waist staff only served one side of the hall during the cocktail hour. My table had to constantly beckon some one over. When someone finally respond, there was 2 or 3 pieces left of whats being served. After dinner, before dessert again table was never cleared. We had to try and find space for our dessert plates.
The food, staff and service were great! Very clean establishment. The only downside is that there are no accommodations for handicapped or wheelchair bound people and no elevator! You have to walk up three rows of stairs to get to the upper ballroom. Eastwood Manor needs to update and upgrade their accessibility.
Had my wedding here, the staff, the waiters were excellent. We had over 450 people here and everyone was quite quite satisified with Mike and his staff. The waiters made sure each table was being attended to and had enough beers. The food was on point and kept streaming in constantly throughout the entire night. I had a wonderful experience!
Its very nice place. I went there today for my best friend wedding. The food was good. There is valet parking on site. It houses several different party room. While we were there two more wedding and birthday party was going on. The host at the entrance was very nice.
Service is amazing, and the management and wait staff go beyond their way to make sure things are taken care of. Another plus is the valet parking. There are plenty of party rooms, all different sizes for all types of events. The renovations are very modern and place looks awesome inside. Definitely worth the money if you are in the Bronx area.
The place is great. Spacious. My only complaint is We Paid to party till Midnight but at 11:30 pm the workers literally were asking us to get up from our chairs do they could clean tables. I asked why are U doing this now cant u wait till Midnight. Their response was NO WE GET PAID UNTIL MIDNIGHT ANYTHING WE DO AFTER MIDNIGHT IS FOR FREE. I said ok Thats ur problem I paid till MidnightBut they ignored meEverything was great till 11:30. Just be aware if u throw a party there
Very classy, friendly and professional staff, great food, good music, respectful and fast parking staff, very friendly coat check lady all organized and working together to make my mothers surprise 80th birthday party great and rememberable for all our loving family and friends. Very impressive 👍👍👍👍👍. I recommend this place to everyone for any special occasion. Reasonable price and excellent photographer and videographer. Perfect mix of birthday and holiday decorations.
Had my wedding at Eastwood ...Mike and Rich are amazing and go above and beyond to accommodate thier guests.....THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!!Service/serves are so on point at maintaining order in large parties...And Nadine was AWESOME... hope she is available whenever I book at Eastwood thank you to all the staff at the Eastwood 😊😊😊
I recently had my baby shower at Eastwood Manor and I have nothing but great things to say! We visited a lot of different venues and Eastwood offered the best combination of quality and price! The food was awesome, the space was beautiful, they offer parking and the office staff was incredibly accommodating to my friends who did the majority of the set up. We were especially grateful to the wait staff, in particular Telly, who wed met at the food tasting the venue offered. She was superb in every way. She made sure we ate, which is hard when everyone wants to talk to the parents to be, and that we had plenty of leftovers. I would definitely host another event here if I ever need to.
Eastwood Manor is an institution to the Bronx community. Not only in this time of Covid-19 but for many years. I have personally been to weddings, sports dinners, and other events over the years. The professionalism and service keeps me coming back time and time again. Even with limited service they are still able to prepare food that is outstanding and hold up through travel. I would highly recommend it. Try it, you will love it!
The venue was good... I have a few complaints though.. (1) The basement room where our party was held is CLEARLY moldy... It has that basement moldy smell if you know what I mean . I thought it would be a deal breaker for me, but I was able to stand it for 5 hours! (2) They should find a way to manage the people who come outside to smoke or whatever.. They tend to block the doors to the other venues which is annoying at best! Other than that, its a pretty nice spot. We also got a parking spot on the street.. Theres plenty of valet, but its just not my thing.. I drive a stick and I dont like others to drive my car. #threestars
This place hosted my aunts 50th birthday party this past weekend and they did such a great job! The Staff was attentive and helpful! ESPECIALLY Beltran!!! He was amazing!! He ensured I was able to enjoy different food options (Im a pescatarian my family carnivores for life lol) and he ensured I had options and even kept checking on me and my family!!!
I just want to thanks all the staffs at Eastwood Manor especially Mr. Williams for giving us the opportunity to celebrate our wedding there. We have a great time the price was affordable, the food and their services was excellent. My guest and my family they all love the food that it was served on our special day. I truly recommend this place for any event.Love Rosa & Alex
We had a church event here. The waiter with curly hair (young guy) never served us appetizers (until a waitress had to tell him to). I understand all the waiters had 3 different tables but he never came to ours. Then he spilled salmon juice on a gentlemens suit. I dont know what happened but I wasnt happy about it. Other than that it was good.
The bread was cold and the butter was almost frozen. The waiters served a few people at my table and moved on to the next table without serving the rest of us. The waiters reached over and on us when removing the plates from the table, which I found very rude and unprofessional. The service was awful. The food was really nothing to talk about. It did not impress me. I would never have a function there.
Ive been to Eastwood Manor for several occasions including two of my own, my retirement event and birthday party. Each event was flawless and the staff was very accommodating. The ambiance and food was excellent and I would recommend the Eastwood Manor to anyone who would be looking for a place to host an event.
Just attended an event on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019. The food was horrible. The chicken hors doeuvres were hard, cold and appeared unclean. The food appeared to have came out of bags and not freshly made. The main course was even worse. The vegetable medley was too salty, wilty and again not washed. The lasagna was loaded with ricotta cheese but where was the beef. The salmon was dry and burnt on the top. The fried chicken was hard on the outside and not cooked on the inside. The salad was wilted. The sliced fruit was the saving grace. What a shame. Mostly all the food was uneaten and returned to the kitchen. They were ill prepared for a beautiful event for the price that was paid. Would not recommend eating there. If so, request to go in the kitchen to see whom is preparing the food.
I was here for a wedding and reception earlier this year.I was there as a guest so I cant leave any comments about how it was to do planning with them. The big detraction is that there were other parties there that were very loud that we could hear during the ceremony. It was very distracting. There wasnt another party on the floor I dont think, so the problem was that they left doors to the hallways open. That was really the big thing. Also, there was not good signage. There were two entrances and we couldnt figure out where to go in and it didnt say what party was where at least not where, at least not where I noticed it.
The Eastwood Manor is a very elegant place to host a reception or black tie event. The decor is very regal and the staff is very accommodating. The service of the staff and the food that was prepared by the chef was amazing. The cuisine was a variety of soul food and West Indian dishes that were delicious. Everything was great from the yams, ox tails, jerk chicken, collard greens, mussels etc. The dance floor was spacious and after eating our meal we danced the night away. It was a great way to end the night after witnessing a beautiful wedding.
I was here for a work event. The decor is dated but clean. The food was more like cafeteria food rather than something youd expect at a catering hall. The pasta and salmon were overcooked and unseasoned. Roasted pork, chicken, and vegetables were cooked well. Overall it was ok for a work related event.
Love Eastwood Manor! Starting from the manager Michael, Dominque and the rest of the staff they all go above and beyond. The food is always tasty and the selection to pick from on the is awesome were able to set-up a kids buffet with all of the kids favorites like pizza, fruit salad, and fondue fountain my compliments to the chef. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
We had our division christmas party at this place this year. everything was great except for the location. try to valet park. Avoid parking on the streets if possible as they put very tiny signs especially like the T-mobile store. My car got towed by a private company and they charged me too much. The restaurant people failed to mention not to park there when they saw me parking. Not very helpful in that scenario
I hosted a surprise Retirement Party on November 2, 2017 which was well coordinated and I MUST give the utmost commendation to Mr. Matthew Boston who tended to our every need, we couldnt ask for a better waiter, he attended to everyones needs and requests for a party of 50 even being by himself. Mr. Boston is a great asset to the East Wood Manor, thank you for a wonderful experience.
The place was nice, didnt know where the elevator was to ride up to the second floor. But this one worker at Eastwood manor wasnt nice and had the nerve to be GREEDY. I Saw her packing up foil containers of food about 6 of them. So when she finished I asked her if I could have a foil container as a guess? Her response was there not being given out to guess. I said wow OK can u make sure I get one when you give them out please? But she didnt answer me. So Im putting the lady with the burgundy hair with locks or braids ON THE TOP OF HER HEAD and sides shaved oFf her head on BLAST!!! FOR BEING SELFISH AND GREEDY NOT ACCOMMODATING THE GUESS.🔥🔥 FIRE HER ASS!!! 🔥🔥
Once again Michael, Rich and team Eastwood Manor hit a homerun. Society of African American Transit employees Anniversary I believe broke record with over 600 attendees and team Eastwood Manor did not skip a beat, everyone was taken care of property as always. Cant wait till the Hispanic Transit Society Bash in November.

2021-10-12Richard and Michael are extraordinary gentlemen! I threw a Masquerade Ball for what should have been my 65th birthday party last year. The pandemic shut it down, of course, so it was on my birthday this year and was themed my 65+1 Masquerade Ball!😊. The food was delectable! The atmosphere was perfect. The lighting in the room glowed. The linen colors, black tablecloths, white napkins gold chairs with white bows, matched my centerpieces of silver tea light candles in a circle on blinged silver chargers with one large candle holder in the middle with a black masquerade mask poking out of it. Crediting my daughter and her Dad on the centerpieces and Richard and Michael for the color of the linens from the start. All I had to do was tell them my theme and they came up with suggestions! There was just so much in the very reasonable price, including the hot hors doeuvres during the cocktail hour with an open bar, red carpet/fireworks, 10 items on my buffet table from a choice of 4 different menus, plus freshly baked breads, coffee and tea. Five hours of food, drinks and fun. No one left hungry, thirsty or dissatisfied and the servers and bartender were attentive and thoughtful. They lived up to their reputation and I would use them again and again. Thanks again guys for working so well with me. Heres to you and your wonderful establishment. Keep up the good work!🤗❤️🎉🎊😊

2022-05-21Celebrated our churchs jubilee anniversary here. Nice atmosphere, service was good and the food was alright. The room was cold, I guess they were following c19 protocols. It was a good time provided by this fine establishment.

2022-07-20I was there on Sunday for my cousins party. When it was time for the cocktail hour, the appetizers were barely passed around the room. As a matter fact I didn’t get any and only two people at our table received them. When my husband told one do the waiters about it the only thing she said was “Good to know.” Like what kind of answer was that. Now the food was good at the buffet but when it was almost time for the party to end, my husband and I noticed workers making to go containers of food before the guests of the party. My cousin paid for that food and they decided to take upon themselves to make to go plates before the guests? To me that’s stealing. I can understand once the guests made food to go but before. That’s very unprofessional and dare I say, ghetto. I have been here before for events and have never seen anything like that before. Do better Eastwood Manor. Do better.

2022-06-08Drinks excellent. Appetizers excellent opposed to the buffet, wouldnt give to a dog. Oxtails dry and stringy. Baked Mac and cheese , really ??? Salmon cold but decent.Collards needed additional cooking. Didnt have the chicken parmesan, had enough chicken served with the appetizers. Bread, needed a saw to tear. Peas and rice decent with oxtail gravy. If there was salad I wasnt interested. What a waste .🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐
