When I went to check in, it took 20 minutes to get someone to the front desk to check in. I couldn’t understand the employee either. Then I got my room assignment. I walked into the room & it smelled like cigarettes!! Went back to ask if they had any room spray and they didn’t. They couldn’t change my room or anything. The room was dirty! There was used soap and toilet paper in the bathroom. I was disgusted that I paid $95 for a dirty room. Never staying here again!
Have stayed there several times. Large, clean rooms. Fast, friendly, immediate service with a smile. Breakfast, in-room coffee maker, fridge, iron & ironing board, Wi-Fi. Convenient location for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Has laundry room. Ideal family hotel.
This was actually the second time that Ive stayed at this particular hotel in Lockport. The service this time was pretty good. I got a really good room. Everything about the room was pretty clean. The bed was comfortable so I was able to get some much needed rest. There was a large flat-screen and a strong wifi signal. The breakfast in the morning was quite filling.
I had a good experience at this EconoLodge. The hotel was easy to find, check-in was quick and efficient and the staff was friendly. I found the room to be clean though there was a dirty towel on the floor (looked like the cleaning staff left it behind when they were done cleaning up) but aside from that, the room/bed/tables looked clean and the room smelled clean, not smoky. The refrigerator and microwave were clean and they worked. There was also a decent selection of coffee- nothing gourmet but itll get you up and out the door. There is a supermarket and CVS drug store across the street which was very convenient.I was staying overnight for business so the high speed internet was really important to me. No trouble logging on and access was fast. Check-out was also quick and efficient. There was a small breakfast selection available in the morning- bagels, cereal, coffee...again, not gourmet but more than enough to get your day started. If youre looking for an affordable place to stay for a couple of days, I would recommend this EconoLodge. Its nothing fancy so if youre looking for a more upscale experience, youll likely be disappointed but I found it to be a good value at a fair price and it sufficiently met my needs.
We were cordially welcomed at the check in. The room was bright and very clean and very neat and comfortable. We got a good nights sleep. We found everything we needed. We thought the waffle maker was a nice item for breakfast but was a little tricky to know how to get all the batter out of the cup to make a good waffle. The coffee was good and we were able to make a nice breakfast from what was offered. The staff was helpful and the proprietor was very gracious. He seemed to want to make sure that we had a good stay and willing to do what ever he could to meet our needs. The only improvement I would recommend would to add a little more lighting in the lobby.
Perfect location. I was with my family and warring about location and safety. I show some negative review and have concern too. I want to write down review, so people can know this was really great location. Location was great, lobby was good, and Chris was available even though I was late-midnight. Great service. Room was really clean. Digital, nice, wide TV. Bathroom was clean. Parking was right front of my room. So it was really great. I felt really safe with my family and young kids. In morning breakfast was really good. I love the location and like every one know about this :)
Very nice inside...recently redone. Across the street from a Wegmans which was great for us to pick up some food. Breakfast didnt start till 7am which was a bit late for us. We needed to hit the road by then. Good service and clean. Very nice staff at front desk. Appreciated their attention to our needs (we were exhausted!)
The hotel was perfect for what we needed it for! Cheap and clean. The a/c worked great and even came with microwave and mini fridge. I was even impressed that there was a flat screen TV. The bed is decent but it had clean linens so thats what matters. My only complaint would be the carpet in the room. It was sticky and had a pretty urine smell to it. It turned our feet black so I ended up wearing flip flops the whole time. They just need to shampoo them and it would be a 5 star rating from me! Oh and not a huge deal but there wasnt any ice in the machine...Staff was super friendly and the breakfast was nice.
This is a low cost hotel, which means that it costs less and its frugal. However, that doesnt mean that the quality is lower. On the contrary, the rooms are clean and well kept, the bathroom was sparkling. The complimentary breakfast was very good and very nutritious and the staff friendly and helpful. The internet was good and, if you watch TV, they have a new TV, with a lot of channels. If youre like me, who just needs a clean bed to sleep and a clean bathroom, for a couple of nights, this hotel is the perfect solution.
Mostly an enjoyable experience except for a flat in a relatively new tire caused by a sharp screw possibly picked up in the parking lot of the facility. Otherwise, the motel is a good choice as it is across the street from a major grocery and next door to a good breakfast place if one wishes to go beyond that provided by the motel. Glad to see the remodeling that is being done. Over the last two decades we have stayed here several times and the renovations were long overdue. We did not make use of the WiFi. HUGE PERK: In Room Keurig Coffee Maker. You need to advertise! If Id known room had a Keurig, I would have brought my favorite K-cups. Also, Free Wi-Fi and plenty of Free Cable channels. Bathroom counter: granite; Bathroom floors: fresh tiles. Also, location was near a good variety of restaurants and fast food. Bedding and pillows: fresh and plentiful. Cute little bedside spot light: wont disturb sleep of others if I awake in the night needing to take a pill or read a book.
The rooms were OK. The beds were comfortable. The heater in the room was top of the line. It heated the room in minutes. Large selection of television choices. Early breakfast in the morning, if you dont have that sleep till 10:30 in the morning. Couldnt hear any outside noises.
We were looking for an affordable place to stay near Rochester. We booked at the Econo Lodge in Brockport because we did not want to pay top dollar for just an overnight stay. We booked a room with a King size bed. Overall, we were satisfied with the room and the front desk staff. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had all the accommodations you would normally look for.
The hotel was conveniently located, economical and met our needs. The room was clean and pleasant. It was nice to have a frig and a microwave. A gluten free option for breakfast would have been helpful. The beds were a little soft but comfortable. All in all a nice, economical and simple place to stay.
Perfect location. I was with my family and warring about location and safety. I show some negative review and have concern too. I want to write down review, so people can know this was really great location. Location was great, lobby was good, and Chris was available even though I was late. Great service. Hotel was good for price. Nothing spectacular, but happily stayed here for the price. Rooms somewhat small, but not crammed. We found that the floors were dirty, our socks for dirty quickly walking around the room. We were able to connect to the wifi, but unable to use the Internet or apps, even though it was indicated that we were connected. We had to turn wifi off and use data, which worked much better. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but it looked modest. Everything else was great, the bed was comfortable, although the pillows were very soft. The bathroom was very clean, as well as the towels and washcloths. The television worked, though the TV guide seemed to be incorrect/out of date. This hotel was a very good value for the money we spent, especially in a college town. Very happy to stay here again for the cheaper price.
Absolutely a nice hotel. Greeted by the owner. Very friendly. Showed us the room we would get before checking in. Lovely room. Very clean and had a clean smell. Not much for the free breakfast but it is close to many places and right next to Tim Hortons. I recommend this place to stay in if youre in the area.
I was very happy with my 2 day stay. The hotel does need a little updating in their decor. It is conveniently located and it was quite! I have stayed here before and will probably stay again next year. The breakfast items could be upgraded -- McDonalds is right down the road. I priced the other hotels in the area and they were well over $125/night. Maybe it was just due to the time of year -- August -- tourists??
We have stayed at other EconoLodges and were looking for a Comfort Inn in that area. When we saw the mention in the Choice Hotel book we decided we would take a chance on it. What a wonderful surprise. The manager and his staff sure took pride in the appearance and cleanliness of this location.
This hotel is much improved over the last time I stayed there, 16 years ago. At that time the rooms were dark and musty. I stay in Brockport approximately three nights every year. I had been avoiding the EconoLodge because it was in such poor condition the last time I stayed there. Since then the rooms had been completely done over. They were larger, brighter, and much more comfortable than they used to be. This EconoLodge is now a great place to stay.
The hotel is conveniently located in Brockport, NY for those attending or visiting at the nearby SUNY. This is a no-frills budget hotel. The staff are friendly and responsive. The price is less than any other in the area for those who are budget conscious. The rooms are fairly clean, but worn. Despite this, the beds and pillows are comfortable. Our biggest complaint was the lack of water pressure to effectively take a shower.
Though the outside of this hotel looks a little run down, the rooms are very nice and have obviously been recently updated. The bed were comfortable and the room was very clean. We loved that the coffee machine in the room was a Keurig and made tasty coffee for in the morning!
Overall I was impressed with this facility. The rooms were very clean. The issue I has was the heating in room 21 which was not working. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was good since it had a restaurant across from its front door. I would stay at this hotel again and I highly recommend it.
The room served its purpose. There was indeed a bed to sleep in and a bathroom. The room is either very warm or very cool. There is a very distinct odor in the room. The late night front desk staff was very robotic. The pw for the internet is in your keycard envelope...dont lose that because then you will have to have some kind of interaction with the front desk again and my recommendation would be to just go back to the desk and get a new one. There is no value here.
The room was good for staying one night. The bathroom was pretty nice, the bed was comfortable, and there were no issues to speak of. The heat didnt seem to work great, but it wasnt terribly cold either. The breakfast was pretty sparse too (pretty much just bagels and yogurt), but it was right next to a Tim Hortons. It got the job done.
I was impressed with the room. I was unimpressed with the staff, their knowledge, their attitude was unimpressive. Didnt care when I told them that I had been warned not to book there, but after seeing my room was very pleased with the surprise of a lovely clean room. Also was not helpful when I couldnt get on the Internet. I asked to use the office connection only long enough to let my husband back in Canada know that I had arrived safely. She said she would contact the manager and call my room. Well she never called. I ended up making a long distance call. Next morning she said she did call but the phone didnt work??? Why not come up to my room?? Other than that I had a positive experience. Thank you
I think this place deserves better than the 2 star rating I saw before checking in. The desk clerk was friendly and seemed to know what he was doing, the property is clean and appears to be pretty well kept for an older place, the room was clean and well equipped and the coffee in the lobby was hot and fresh in the morning. For the price I was very satisfied and will certainly consider it if Im in the area again.
Booked this place at last minute when my room in super 8 Hamburg got cancelled as they could not offer a non smoking one. Definitely worth the time spent driving given that rooms at Niagara were ridiculously expensive for weekend. We checked in around 1am in morning and desperately wanted to crash. Room was very clean and seemed recently renovated which made it better. Beds were very comfy. As soon as I came in I heard neighbors enjoying late night loud TV I called front desk and they promptly had them lower volume. Will stay again.
The room seemed to be rather worn out. The walls were painted, but there were many apparent plaster patches and dents or chips in the walls. The curtain rod was crooked and the curtains barely closed. The room appeared to be clean, but the carpet was worn. The top of the microwave was dusty. The door to the room was grubby and dirty. The breakfast area was cramped and somewhat dingy. There were only 4 or 5 small tables, nowhere near the number of rooms and guests. The hotel has potential, but needs to be better taken care of.
Unfortunately, the Brockport EconoLodge is fairly rundown. However, the room my son and I stayed in had a newer bathroom sink and counter. Thats about as far as any remodeling went. There was a connecting door in our room and the trim around the door wasnt painted (or maybe it had a light coat of primer). The room needed fresh paint and the wall next to the bathroom sink needed some work. Overall, it just needs a total remodel. We didnt eat the breakfast because we never got going in time so I cant comment on the food. We went next door to Tim Hortons which was convenient.
Decent room for the price but request 2 queen beds if staying with another person/have several suitcases etc. or you wont be able to move around the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful and facility clean. located well if you need to pick up anything from groceries to clothes or have need of drug store and several restaurants etc. near
This hotel building is either ready to be torn down or completely rebuilt. The outside is shabby. The doors are dirty. The inside walls are damaged, but painted well. The furniture is badly worn or damaged. And the bed causes the sleeper to pitch toward the middle. But the overall condition of the room is clean as is the bathroom. Despite this, I recommend that one seeks a different hotel.
Our experience at the EconoLodge in Brockport has been excellent for the past three years. We attend the State of the State for Empire Girls State at Brockport University every year for the past three years and look forward to our stay at the EconoLodge. We have never been disappointed with the service, friendliness, and professionalism during our stay. The rooms are large, clean and very affordable.
Bathroom faucet leaked water through almost the entire night. Thanks to my husband he got it to stop at about 12 a.m. Also the bathroom ceiling was growing what looked like mold. Rooms were very small. Air conditioning worked great! Breakfast very limited options. We only stayed 1 night. From about 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Good enough!
Rundown and dingy, needs a serious overhaul. Very clean sheets and bathroom. but that was all. Didnt shower because the towels were stained. I didnt use the couch or luggage racks because they were so dirty. I was awake at 6 because the holes in my curtain made the room so bright I could not sleep. Dont take off your shoes! No ice. No coffee or tea with breakfast. Noisy neighbors with a barking dog. Unfortunately there were no other romms available in the area so I had to stay.
The hotel is updating things, but the transition period is not going well. WiFi that doesnt work, staff that doesnt answer the phone or have answers to your questions, food not properly handled and so on. Mostly minor issues that could easily be addressed if the staff were properly educated and attentive to the job. Hopefully it gets better soon, but I will not stay there again.
Check in was quick and staff were friendly. The hotel seems older and could use some updating to the rooms but still not a huge concern. Our room was cold when we arrived and the heater took nearly 3hrs to heat it set on full blast. The TV remote worked but not well as the volume buttons didnt work at all. Later on in the evening we had ants crawling on the beds and in the bathroom not the best thing to see before going to sleep. Overall, I would say the price I paid was definitely too much for these accommodations.
Nice hotel, but needs some TLC. I stay here year after year - sometimes several times a year, and found this trip to be a tough one. Past trips good - just DONT GET STUCK WITH A SMOKING ROOM (worst Ive ever had - period - last year). This stay: No phone in room. TV/Internet problems. Room not cleaned one night and no fresh towels. Ants on bathroom floor.
Its an Econo-Lodge. It was a nicely appointed room with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tv, & alarm clock, a/c, and most importantly it was surprisingly QUIET!! While the room was freshly painted, and clean - it appeared dingy due to the dark colors & sloppy paint job. We wanted a clean, quiet, place to sleep with a fridge & a microwave - we got what we wanted at a reasonable price.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable . The pillows are soft and ease you into sleep. Coffee maker in room is much appreciated . The only problem is lack of elevator to second floor rooms. The free breakfast is scant and the breakfast area uninviting . The staff was friendly. It should be noted that the hotel had suffered damage due to a recent wind and snow storm so they were struggling with that as well as the whole community they serve. ALSO pets are welcome which is a huge plus if you must travel with animal family.
This place is completely mis-represented in the pictures. We slept in our clothes on top of the bed spread just to get a few hours sleep. I thought staying in a brand name hotel was a safe bet for minimum standards but this place should be torn down. I will never stay in another Econolodge hotel. What disgusting dump. Should have read the reviews.
Cleanliness is the most important consideration when staying in a hotel. Our room and the building and grounds were very clean. As for the breakfast.....there was no hot food other than a toaster for bagles. The lobby, as well as our rooms bathroom, would benefit from some cosmetic upgrades. Our bathroom had a large section of wall patched and repainted......by FAR not a professional job. Soap dispensers on the wall were not working and bar soap was made available for our use. Our room was suppose to be handicap accessable yet had NO handrails in the tub/shower area.To be honest....a makeover would benefit the hotel...especially with a BRAND NEW hotel right next door!!The staff was VERY courteous and helpful....we have stayed here in the past and will again in the future.
The management is very poor. When we checked into our room, the smell in the room almost knocked us over. I immediately went to the front desk. I asked for a different room because of the smell. The gentleman at the front desk was very rude. He said that the hotel was booked. Hardly no one was in the parking lot. Plus, the rooms are beat up and worn.
This place is not as it appears online- I booked 2 rooms for an out of town fishing trip only to get there and see how awful this place was! I asked for a refund and was only able to retrieve 2nd night due to a 24 hr cancellation policy- WHAT!!!!- Who goes out of town a day early to see if their room is decent! There was ppl coming in and out beating on same door (2 Rooms down) assuming a drug dealer - key word assuming - but that assumption was enough for me! Employee named Ann was extremely nasty and told me you will not get your money back - so unless u like the wild life DO NOT GO TO THE ECONO LODGE IN BROCKPORT NY
If you are looking for a clean room and not much else, then this is your place. This being an Econo Lodge we werent expecting much other than the basic comforts. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but that was it. This hotel/motel is in dire need of a makeover. You can see where the walls have been patched and spackled, and the whole place is in need of updating. We didnt even attempt to go to the lobby for breakfast as it was about as big as a walk-in closet. I understand the concept of supply and demand, but Im pretty sure the price was raised due to the fact that it was graduation weekend, and this is not the caliber of hotel that should ask that kind of money for one of their rooms.
As I stated in the previous section, it is what I expected for the price. The hotel has been around since I was little kid in the 1970s, having been renovated a time or two since. The bathrooms have window vents instead of ceiling vents, not the most private. Aside from that, a decent place for the price.
OK for a budget motel. Room was generally clean and in reasonable shape. Exterior halls and stairs were not in great shape. There was a complementary breakfast but it was pretty basic. Near restaurants and stores but on a very busy road. Not convenient to the village of Brockport.
This hotel met my expectations for comfort and safety and exceeded them for convenience, cleanliness, and quietness. It is directly across from a Wegmans and right next to a Tim Hortons, and has a good area for walking my dogs, who were traveling with me. No funky smells or loud noises in the room. Wi-Fi worked well. I would definitely stay here again in the future. The only glitches were that the ice machine was not functioning at check-out, and the pleasant young woman at check-in had a very difficult time figuring out how to process my AAA membership (took her 15+ minutes).
We stayed at the EconoLodge due to power being out in our home. The room was in poor condition with multiple maintenance issues. We had to call to have the tub repaired after it would not drain. The toilet leaked water all over the bathroom floor. We reported it, but nothing was done. The hotel was full, so we couldnt move. This place needs a gut-remodel. Fresh paint and linens just dont do the job.
I stay approximately 100 nights/ year in hotels and I can honestly say that this was by far the worst I have been in. This place looked more like a seedy truck stop motel . Outside of building was literally falling apart and the room wasnt much better. There were broken light fixtures and everything else was extremely well worn and the entire place smelled of smoke and BO. The lobby was about the size of a closet and the breakfast was a joke. At least there was a donut shop next door. This location needs to be completely remodeled or pulled from the chain!Only good thing I can say is that it is convenient to the College.0 stars for this one.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in the beginning of August 2014. We stayed for two nights and we found the price to be decent, considerably less than surrounding hotels which is what we were looking for.Very good location, not too far from the Buffalo Zoo or Darien Lake. Also, the Rochester Mall was a quick drive. There is also a lot of shopping right across the road. Also many fast food restaurants close by. We also had Pizza Hut delivered right to our room.It was a very speedy check-in & check-out process, the clerk when we got there and checked out was very friendly and helpful. However, the overnight clerk whom was a younger man was rude and didnt seem to care about anything. The continental breakfast was very minimal but did include two types of cereal, muffins, coffee, and juice. They did however let you take silverware, plates, and napkins for your delivery orders if you needed them which was nice of them. The room itself was very clean when we checked in. The air conditioner worked very well. There was a flat screen TV that had basic cable channels but worked for us to watch before bed. Our room also had a desk and a hanging clothes rack. The room came equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. The freezer door in the mini fridge was broken off, im assuming because of all the ice build up, so the fridge did tend to slightly freeze what we put in it. I would recommend they defrost their refrigerators once in awhile. The beds were made neatly and the sheets and blankets were very clean. I loved the outlet next to the bed, it had the normal outlets along with the USB outlets which came in handy for charging my cell phone. The bathroom was clean, however the shower curtain could have used replacing due to the fact it had a lot of soap scum build up. I didnt like how it had the rounded out shower curtain rod either, the floor got pretty wet when we showered. We were provided with complimentary soaps and shampoo. There was also a soap dispenser and hand sanitizer dispenser by the sink. The daily housekeeping service was nice and she kept our room very tidy. The door lock did work but it was very hard to lock, it felt like the door might not be lined up correctly. All in all, it was a good hotel and a good price.
My room was cold, and the heater smelled badly when I turned it on. It was noisy, which kept me from sleeping, and did not work effectively. There were some hairs (not mine) in my sheets. The bathroom was clean, but I did not feel comfortable showering. The wifi and TV did work just fine. Breakfast was sugary cereals, toast, and a waffle machine, not my cup of tea.
Ann at the front desk was nice and tried to help, but great staff will only take a business so far. It is not enough to make up for exstremely poor room conditions. Getting moved three times, first room was cold with poor internet and tv. The bathroom wall was dirty. The door lock did not work on the second room. The third room had ants in it.
We had a last minute trip to Brockport and stayed here. The rooms were not great and we had 2 bugs in the bathroom upon our arrival. The bathroom did not appear to be cleaned before our stay. The walls were very thin and we could hear everything going on next door. The doors are on the outside of the building and it kept sounding like someone was trying to get into our room. The lobby had a terrible smell. We will not be staying again
This motel is in need of new carpets, paint & bedcovers. A maintence person is needed to repair sticking doors & shower temp problems. The breakfast buffet needs to be replenished and weeds need to be pulled from the entry areas and replaced with flowers. Staff needs to be knowledgeable about location of Canal Trail & should be able to distribute area maps.
Never go by photos on line, this place is needing major upgrading and sheets were dirty, I hadn’t even checked in and had booked the wrong place and wanted to cancel and I booked through Expedia. The customer service from Expedia said as the A’s the supervisor/owner ok it I could switch, Expedia called and asked and the owner refused and keeper trying to say it’s not him it’s expedia. However he was lying as I was in front of him when the Expedia women called him . He said no it couldn’t be canceled and once I saw not only the lobby but the room, it made sense that there was barely anyone in this motel. Also while booking with Expedia it says full breakfast, all they had was bagel muffins and that was it, it also states on the website full breakfast. Full breakfast is eggs, bacon, hash browns etc, there was continental if that’s even what you want to call it. Never ever will I book at an econolodge again, it cost $111.00 Canadian and so not worth it, it certainly pays to have a clean, friendly place even if it costs a little more. Terrible place, dirty, dirty, dirty and owner/supervisor what ever he is, should have better cost service and spend some money to fix and clean the place up. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
Awful! Filthy and unsafe. And they kept half our deposit when we refused to stay because it was so dirty. Do not stay here. The Hampton Inn took mercy on us, gave us a discounted room and it was perfect. If I could give it less than one star I would. The owners name is Kush.
The hotel was a low budget hotel. Im a handicapped veteran and requested a ground floor. I was told there wasnt one available. the hotel wasnt even booked. I also didnt appreciate that they dont clean the rooms every day. and dont ask for more pillows or towels; they will question why you need them. The wooden headboard was uncomfortable to sit up on . the staff was rude and I didnt appreciate it.
We booked a first floor room with a king size bed thru Choice. But when we got there for the funeral of a family member we were told they did not have such a room. They were renovating and gave us a 2nd floor room with no elevator and outside stairs. We are both senior citizens. The room was smelly, dirty, the heater didnt work in the bathroom and the faucet leaked. It was to cold to take a shower. The spiders and cobwebs only added to the uncomfortable bed. We used our points for a free room so I guess they give u the worst room. It made a sad time even worse.
We didnt spend much time in the hotel other than to sleep and shower. We didnt have very high expectations due to other reviews and I was a little surprised that the place was as clean as it was. My husband was disappointed there was no milk for the cereal or coffee the first morning we were there and the second morning they ran out of coffee before he got down there but with Tim Hortons right next door and other restaurants in the area, it really didnt matter. The staff were very nice throughout our stay and you would never know that people had dogs there. We actually stood out on the balcony one evening and it was the only time I heard a dog bark. All in all I would say the place was just right for what my husband and I wanted out of the stay. A place to sleep, shower, and keep our gear while we were out visiting family in the area.
There are only three hotels in Brockport, New York, and the EconoLodge consistently offers the lowest prices. It is also the oldest and least maintained, and with fewer amenities — but if budget is a top priority then you cant beat the price, and the location is convenient for anyone visiting Brockport.
If i could give it 0 stars i would. This place is unfair and very creepy. I made reservations for two people, my self and my friend. When we had our friend stop by for my food and shampoo we got a call from front desk guy to ask me how many people I had in the room obviously watching the cameras because he called as soon as they walked in my room. They decided to kick us out. Told us we had to leave because we had more than 2 people. (They were dropping off materials not staying) we explained to the guy we didnt lie to him about the amount of people but he still refused to house us for the nighr. They dont listen or speak English very well because I asked if they had a rule about people dropping stuff off and they ignored every question I asked. And just said if we dont leave they would call the cops. Worst experience ever.
Needs facelift. Old and dirty. Had an awful smell. Hair was in the sink, tissues were empty, there was no soap, there were ants and a spider in the room. Bedding appeared to be very old. Towels were still damp. I almost chose to just sleep in my truck. Should have listened to the TripAdvisor reviews but was the only place in area that had a room available.

2022-05-25Positive: Its location. Easy access to Rochester. Comfortable, easy parking. Negative: I was surprised that there was no maid service. I was just me, so I did have everything I needed. It just surprised.

2022-02-23Positive: This hotel was located about 7 miles from the home of a good friend who I visited during the holiday weekend. The price was VERY good in comparison to another motel nearby which had less amenities and was more expensive. Smoking was allowed, great!! Negative: There was no ceiling fan in the bathroom. The remote for the television needed adjusting, and was still a bit skittish after management made an adjustment. A Keurig coffee maker never functioned at all, even though management told me to try often.

2021-09-15My husband and I reserved this hotel the same week as our stay. It was around $130 after taxes for a double queen-bed room. The room had everything you needed and the beds were comfortable. There wasnt much water pressure and the back of the door was dirty. Overall, the appearance could use some work (inside and out), but the staff was great. We accidentally reserved a smoking room (didnt know these still existed), and the gentleman in the front had a non-smoking room ready in about an hour for us. We would stay here again.

2022-02-12The lobby was dirty and shabby. The room was dirty, stained sheets and poor maintenance. Stains on walls and door. Musty odor.Left and went to another motel for night. Looks like halfway house.

2021-12-16This place was disgusting! And Ive eaten Perris after dropping it face down on the sidewalk, so I know disgusting! Our room was definitely not cleaned before our arrival, as there was cigarette ash all over the floors and in both night stands. There was a blood stain on the dresser (which my husband desperately tried to convince me was BBQ sauce) and towels strewn about the bathroom. Burn stains in the bed sheet and pillow cases. Maintenance guy was the ONLY redeeming quality about this place. Hes very cool and friendly!PLEASE DONT STAY HERE!

2021-09-07The gentleman at the front desk was polite but the hotel definitely needs some work/updating! I wasn’t expecting a lot with the hotel being a bit cheaper but I have stayed in way nicer places for less. It’s a safe place to lay your head with a surprisingly comfortable bed! The outdoor stairways needed to be swept. In the room I noticed holes in the wall that needed to be patched. A gfi outlet had tripped so the fridge was thawed out and half the lights were not working, took a little bit to figure all that out. Also couldn’t get the tv to display anything and ended up needing to move some of the cables around. The cleaning of the room was minimal, definitely doesn’t get swept very well nor does it happen behind things like the little trash can. The comforter had what appeared to be coffee stains and the decorative panel at the end of the bed had patched burn stains. It just feels outdated overall but will do the job. I brought Lysol spray to wipe things down just in case!
