This was a nice hotel, the people were okay and the rooms were clean enough. The staff really seemed pretty indifferent, but certainly took good care to help if asked. The doors to the outside should be kept locked as far as I ever knew to keep out the nere -do-wells who may try to come in and cause trouble.
I tool a star away for poor breakfast settings. Only coffee oj and chewy frozen muffins for breakfast items. Another star removed because of terrible mattresses to sleep. Could not sleep on those super hard spring mattresses. Third star removed because of unexpected high charges for pet $40 per night. They don’t mention $40 pet fees per night on booking sites. It was clean facility and looks like recently renovated but my room door had big gap by the frame which allows everyone to hear outside of room anything you do or talk inside the room. Bathroom door can’t lock. Mine was room number 104. No hot water for shower on Sunday morning check out times.
Not real sure what I am giving a star for, but I guess it be for easy access off highway. Upon check-in, the gentleman at the front desk had 0, and I mean 0 personality. It felt like forever to get through the check-in process. After loading luggage it for 3 adults, 3 kids, come to find out there is no elevator. Stairway was fifty and appeared no one vacuumed it for a month. Rooms are very dated. My brothers room had a pill in the rash can, food debit on counter, and opened food in his fridge. At this point, I was disgusted, and ripped my room apart looking for bed bugs or filth. Pool was ice cold and fits maybe 15 people (leaving minimal room to swim) Breakfast options were, muffin or muffin, apple juice, or and coffee. Lids did not fit on the cups and staff ignored me when I inquired about it. Overall, a terrible stay. I wont ever stay here or any Econo Lodge. Room was $200/night. Go somewhere else!
We recently stayed here overnight, having had stayed here many times when it was Quality Inn, and will never stay here again. We settled in to our room in late evening, and went straight to the pool. It was so cold that we couldnt stay, so we just went back to the room to go to bed. The next morning we were awoken bright and early by the sound of construction happening under our window. As we decided to just get up and pack up, we started noticing things wrong. Walls were filthy, there was stuff from previous patrons on the dresser tucked behind the t.v, dirt and garbage on the floors against the walls. The most disturbing thing, though, was the fire alarm had been stuffed with wet toilet paper!! If there had been a fire in our room, we would have not known!! Having two kids with us that thought terrified us!! We addressed our concerns with the front desk, and it was brushed off like its an every day occurrence. Someone probably just wanted to smoke. Very disappointed with how this place is now. Yes. We have photos.
BED BUGS!! SKETCHY AREA!! Floors were dirty and obviously not vacuumed in quite awhile. There was a used dental pick left on the floor. Body fluids of some sort on the walls. I wish I was exaggerating this, but Im not. Some of this like the floors, maybe could be overlooked if you arent picky and looking for a bed and pillow after a long travel day. When the bed bugs came out at 1030 pm however (no evidence when we looked at bedding earlier) we left. Back door to the hotel has no lock. Anyone can come and go at any time without swiping a card. The hotel next to this and shares the parking lot, isnt for the faint of heart. More like low income living...My adult daughter was afraid and when we left a guy trotted out following beside/behind our vehicle. The only positive side is when I called the manager the next day I told her we left due to the bed bugs, and she put in a refund without any further discussion. I give it a star only for that and because field is required.
Pretty sure our room had bedbugs!!! Blood spot on sheet, exoskeletons all on matters,we didnt stick out to test if we were right! When told all we were offered was another sheet. Um no thank you Id like to keep my house bedbug free. So we left and our out of whatever the room was 200 or so. Ill make sure to ask to check beds from now on,lesson learned I guess.
We arrived and checked in and checked back out with in minutes! We did our normal go to the room and check for bed bugs. Was we pulled up the bottom left corner of the comforter their was a bed bug plain as day! We didnt have to look hard at all. When my husband went to the desk to advise they didnt seem suprized one bit! When asked if they kmew they had bed bugs why they wernt doing anything to control the issue they just shrugged their sholders as we exited the building! To anyone that has stayed or is assiged room 107 please be sure to check your home for bed bugs. Hopefully you havent gotten a free take away gift with your stay. To the person behind the company that will tell me your sorry for the bad experance like you have to all the others. Save your time and your company should be ashamed of themselfs for not taking care of the problem. I clearly see I am not the only one with the same experiance! Stop appoligizing and FIX THE ISSUE AT HAND!!! YOU ARE A LARGE COMPANY GET AN EXTERMINATOR!!!!! I will NEVER EVER stay at a nother hotel owned by your company.
Positive: The only thing good about this ¿hotel¿ was its proximity to Six Flags. Negative: This was not a hotel, this was a long term residency motel. The property was disgusting and there were people living out of it. When we arrived we could not get to our door because people were BBQing in front of our door, drinking and doing drugs.
I don’t normally start with bad items but I feel for review I need to 1)joke of breakfast they had you had ur choice of bite size blueberry muffins that were hard a few packs no lie of oatmeal it was hot out so no oatmeal for us thanks 2) the door to our room seemed not to shut tight made me nervous, 3) spider in shower dead and the water didn’t go down went over our ankles, 4) pillows were like toss pillow size. I did like the closeness to things, I like that I could take my dog (who is like my child) just wish it wasn’t 30$ I think that 15$ would be sufficient.
Im a choice platinum member and very disappointed in this location. Ive stayed here twice at a $300 per night rate and both time no hot water. Careful walking your dogs the area is littered with trash. I was thinking it was going to get picked up from my last stay (it wasnt).
If i could give them no star i would . Me and my family rented out 3 bedrooms for one night and we planned on extending our trip until we came in counter with front desk Sheeran . We said good morning and she gave us attitude for no reason she then continue to be rude yelling asking if we were checking out , we then asked for a manager Lori who was across at the other hotel her excuse was that her employee was over worked . She apologized for the incident but offer nothing . We will never stay here again
Our hotel experience was under satisfying to say the least. The high note was The front desk person was knowledgeable of the area, friendly, and very helpful! The condition of the hotel was in need of some updates and the smell of chlorine was so strong it disrupted sleep or being able to sit in the lobby. We went as a group and rented 3 rooms. 3 of our members got headaches from the smell of pool chemicals. The mattresses in all 3 rooms were uncomfortable, maybe old, maybe need better quality mattress. I don’t think we will be returning to that specific site again.
We were heading up to the ADK park for a ski trip and bad weather forced us to pull off the road and stay the night in Queensbury with our kids. The Quality Inn was convenient, well priced, and located just off of the highway. Art at the front desk was so friendly, helpful and hospitable. The rooms were comfortable and clean and our stay was very nice. I would stay here again if I’m the area.
Chris the manager at the hotel was so helpful and kind. We needed a place to stay due to a flat tire on the way home from Montreal to New York City. Chris set us up with a room in a matter of minutes and made us feel so welcome and at home that it eased the stress of our car problem. The next morning as we were trying to figure out how to fix the car, Chris assured us that we could check out at noon with no additional fee as to ease our worries and make our stay as relaxing as possible. He made our experience a 10/10 and my fiancé and I were so impressed with his professionalism and compassion. The staff that were there in the morning when checking out were not as friendly and id not greet us in the lobby. But because of Chris, I would stay at the hotel again. The staff should all model his work ethic and attitude. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was nice and included enough towels and toiletries. We had cable and wifi. The comforters were a bit yellow, the could use some upgrading. Overall, clean and comfortable. Slept through the night well.
Switched to this hotel at the last minute due to issues at another hotel. Staff was very friendly and night staff offered suggestions for dining with our kids. Pool is small but my kids still loved it. Breakfast was a nice perk. Room was a little small but only bc we had a lot of luggage with us. Would definitely stay here again.
Horrible experience, noticed dry blood stains on sheets and ripped comforters. TV and wifi wasnt working , called maintenance and he was unprofessional and rude. Next morning we needed towels and they were never sent. Woke up today at 4 am, both arms bitten ,swollen and red from bedbugs. Some of my fingers are swollen and hot to the touch. Reported to front desk and she gave us our money back. Never coming back. Im in horrible pain.
Hotel was average.....breakfast was limited with not too much choice. I decided to get some breakfast at 9 AM. Upon my arrival there was no more eggs or sausage patties, in fact there was not much left to choose...I just had orange juice and a yogurt. Also room nice looking but there was dust on certain parts of furniture, including tv. I would think twice before returning
Everything was great. Nothing to complain about. Room was very clean and ready for us. Check in with simple. Breakfast was also simple but did the job. Pool is small but its easy to get to from inside. Nice parking lot is close to rooms. Interacted with many nice staff members.
I was extremely satisfied with my stay. We checked in Friday, September 16, 2016 and Chris was amazing and extremely accommodating. They have beverages available at all times. The pool was extremely clean. He went above and beyond on both nights. The breakfast lady was amazing! Unfortunately, I didnt get her name. She was constantly stocking up the breakfast area and was very approachable. The cleaning crew did an awesome job even in the second day, they really left our room spotless. My one concern was the morning front desk person (Cassie.) She walked around asking the breakfast lady to get things done but sat behind the front desk doing nothing. The breakfast lounge was really busy at one point, I was waiting in line for the waffle maker and she looked over, shook her head, rolled her eyes and look annoyed. Maybe they should invest in keeping her facial expression neutral and/or approachable? Honestly, it was a great experience!
Staying by myself in a two queen bed room. Woke up to a BED BUG crawling on me. Checked the other untouched bed and found another one on it. checked out immediately. Black stuff growing above and around the shower probably mold. The FREE breakfast is cheap muffins from the dollar store.Worst experience I’ve had at a hotel.
Hotel itself was perfect. Beds were a little hard. Pillows were flat. Hotel was super clean and quiet. Front desk workers needs work. I waited over five minutes to check out while the girl was out smoking in the front. I was disappointed that I couldnt use the beautiful pool because you needed two people to swim. Rooms were dark and I wished for more light. Overall rooms were great just wished works had some more training
A good location just off of Rt 87. We stayed for one night on our way to Canada. Our room was clean and had a mini fridge and microwave. The pool was clean and the temperature was just right. Breakfast was included with our rate. The make your own waffles were delicious. There was a nice breakfast assortment with yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs (round discs) and sausage, muffins, coffee, tea, juices etc. The Quality Inn sign is blocked by a large bush so we drove past the hotel and had to turn around to look for it. It is in the same lot an the Econo-Lodge. It was a good value and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again. The pillows were a little too soft for us so next time well pack our own. Recommend bringing a small plug in night light for the bathroom.
The staff allowed us to check in early because we had a wedding in the area. The exception was noted on our reservation, so there were no problems. The staff was very attentive . . . brought extra blankets in less than 5 min of request, breakfast bar was restocked in a timely manner. The staff was also very friendly and polite. The bedding, linens, curtains all looked new . . .the entire room appeared to be newly remodeled. It was very clean and comfortable.
First impression was good. Hotel lobby staff gave excellent service and advice. Location is good across the street from aviation mall.Room needs a bit of tender loving care, bedding was torn, decor is dated and wallpaper is peeling. One surprise was that the pool is FREEZING!Also, it would be nice if breakfast changed a bit. Same exact breakfast on a daily basis. A little variety in the menu is highly recommended.
Convenient location to restaurants, and to outlets a few miles to the north.Complimentary breakfast had enough options. Weve stayed at Quality Inns before, so we knew what to expect.Nice small indoor pool, but unfortunately had no time to use it.Very pleasant receptionists. Was able to used accumulated points for our stay, since I am a member.
2 words. Bed. Bugs. We were moved to another room but not offered any discount for the inconvenience. Next room had a major funk to it and was dusty :( .The free reakfast had us eating at McDonalds on our second day. Stale breads, rubbery eggs. The staff was pleasant and very helpful, but the facility itself was not good.
The hotel was very nice for the money. The people at the desk were great. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because their billing dept charged me twice for the room and took over 3 weeks to return the difference, causing my finances to become extremely tight. So, the hotel and people are great, just watch your cc bill afterward.
The hotel was nice and clean. the breakfast was adequate and nicely presented. the lobby smelled a little bit of chlorine from the pool, but it was not that bad.the back door to the hotel did not lock, but it did not seem like it would be an issue. the room was nicely setup and had a microwave and ref. would still here again
Property downgraded from Quality Inn; hall & stair carpets stained, dog poop in hall; no sink stopper, bottle cap in drain; could hear conversation & snoring from next room; front desk personnel too casual, sloppily dressed; brown drip stains on bathroom walls; clock unplugged, months of dust on cord; overflowing outside trash can; cigarette receptacle next to door & sign stating property was 100% smoke free; exterior hallway doors propped open with laundry bin or rocks.
We had to have our room changed due to the people next door having small children stomping and running around like elephants at 8pm. Why we were even placed next to others when the hotel only had about 5 occupied rooms, Im not sure. The staff was very friendly when we got there. He was very helpful and gave nice info. We were told however breakfast ended at 9:30 to find it was being picked up at 9. We grabbed a couple muffins that were left as a different worker rushed to clean everything up. He wasnt very polite. Juice was displayed in pitchers aside from the usual machine, I felt rushed to poor a little cup as the guy was grabbing other juices and utensils to bring to the back. He seemed rather frustrated. The room was very clean and we had no other issues as we slept well.
We used this hotel for an overnight stay on our way to an out of state wedding. We were taking our handicapped mother in law with us. We wanted a room with two beds and the ADA room only had one, so I booked a two bedded room. When we arrived, the room was on the second floor and there was no elevator in the hotel. Luckily they were able to move us to a down stairs room, but the room was not big enough to move the wheelchair around in. The breakfast was very basic and the hot foods seemed to be over microwaved. The room served the purpose for a place to sleep, but I wish that it was more updated and beyond basic.
The room did not match the rate I paid. I understand it is the season but for the rate I paid I would expect a clean bathroom and a room that did not have a terrible smell. The furniture in the room was too big for the room so it was hard to move around. I did not have the free breakfast but it did look good. The front desk staff were very nice and professional.
I have been a comfort inn customer for many years and I jump I compare this to a comfort insight and I am very disappointed it’s very convenient and it near the Lake George region. But overall I think it needs some major improvements including size of rooms. I am handicapped and you only had one handicap room. In this area there should be multiple rooms that can be converted or completely set up for handicap. So my rating is fair to poor. On the other side the staff was very helpful and agreeable and helped us the best they could.
We were in Glens Falls to attend a family funeral, so we needed quick and affordable lodging. The Quality Inn served those needs, with a couple of nice additional touches added. It features a lovely little indoor pool (a valuable resource in an area of the country that endures some harsh winters). It is conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants in Glens Falls. And we were particularly impressed with the staff (particularly Jay) who treated us so well during our three-day stay.
Had to make a last minute and unexpected reservation and was pleased that I was able to get into this hotel. We had stayed here before and had a good experience. This time was no exception. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful when he checked us in. The room was clean and comfortable. The only exception was the ice bucket and cover that were dirty, but they were replaced when asked for. All in all it was a very nice place to stay.
I was staying in your hotel for leisure for just one night. By the time I had gotten to your hotel I was exhausted and wanted to rest after taking a hot shower. Me and my daughter kept hearing loud thumping noises through the walls. We were not certain what this was, but then we finally connected the dots to conclude that it was your water pipes rattling every time someone nearby flushed the toilet, took a shower, or ran their sink. I understand that this is a bit of a quandary but it was quite annoying and dissatisfying, it even kept me and my daughter awake. I was also not pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom. It appeared as though there was a buildup of dirt on the grout in the floor and shower tiles. This was not something that housekeeping could have easily cleaned in their normal routine. It appeared that this was over a period of some time and needed further maintenance. Also, I had tried to connect to your wifi from my phone and kept getting disconnected. I was only attempting to use the internet for pleasure to connect to social media, but I feel that if I was attempting to get some work done, I would have been very upset. With all of that said, my daughter and I were very pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff as well as the comfort of the room.
Pool was nasty. Dark humid and musty pool room with clumps of hair floating around . I couldnt take more than 10 steps with out stepping on more hair. The whole place was dim and smelled weed. At first we thought the hotel room was bad but after being in the halls and pool room it made it feel like a luxury! And yes this a real review , we came here for a relaxing weekend at lake George but ended up feeling uncomfortable the whole time !!
The room was nice looking, but the bathroom was disgusting!! Dirt and hair all over the bathroom and some mold. I know the owner and hes NOT going to be happy with the housekeepers! His Hotels NEVER LOOK LIKE THAT. I think he needs a new head housekeeper, shes supposed to be checking ALL the rooms after theyre cleaned.
The room was very clean. Easy check in and the staff was courteous. Great location and great value. Internet was a little slow and the room lighting was a little inadequate but those were minor deficiencies. The hotel a lower me to park for the day while I rode with a business associate. Staff was very accommodating.
This motel is pretty good with room, having basically all good appliances, tv, bathroom and other things, but now the staff is ignorant to basic housekeeping and cleaning, refusing to remove trash from room! It made us feel annoyed about staying here and we will remember that attitude acquired here! Thank you for all...
The room and service was great. My kids loved the pool and the stay. Workers was very pleasure and answered any questions we had and gave us directions to places around to take our kids. Very clean and well kept hotel. I would say that it is a 3 star hotel and would refer friends and family to stay at the Quality inn
The Quality Inn that we stayed in while we were in Glens Falls was a nice place, the front desk area was clean the gentleman that checked us in was very nice and personable. The over night staff was a bit rude however. I stood at the service desk for 3 min in front of the staff person working the desk and he would not look my way nor would he acknowledge that I was there. The morning breakfast was less than desirable. Our room was clean to look at but we did find candy wrappers on the floor and a sock was found in the bed my daughter slept in. Problem being it was not our sock it didnt belong to anyone in the family. The shower walls at the top had black mold and the wifi is horrible. We normally do not have any problems with Quality Inn but with this one we do. We are planing another trip back to Glens Falls for yet another basketball tournament and I will make sure we make other arrangements when it comes time to go over night.
This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. Upon walking into our room, we were greeted by the nasty smell of smoke. Everything stunk, the curtains (which had multiple holes in them), the pillows, the blankets. The pool water was freezing, the staff was not friendly at all, and it was dirty! Upon trying to take a shower, there was dirt in the tub and there was dried on dirt on the shower curtain. The water did not stay warm very long and the beds were so uncomfortable! I have never had such a bad back ache as the day after sleeping in that bed! Its a good thing the breakfast is included in the price! I also noticed the next morning that the wet towels werent taken from the pool area the night before, which totally explains the musty smell in that room. If you should decide to book this hotel make sure you bring the Lysol wipes and sleep on the floor, you will most likely be more comfortable there!! The only reason I gave this hotel even one star is because giving none wasnt an option.
The hotel itself has really nothing to complain about. For the price, it is definitely a consideration. Staff was great. The location of the hotel is not that great. Unless its not peak hours, it is very difficult to merge onto oncoming traffic. Although I did not report the internet connection problems, it should remain one of the hotels top services to maintain. Would stay again!
We were in town for a basketball tournament. I called to say we would be arriving late. Dave at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and bathroom was big. The hotel was quiet and a great value for what we paid. Hotel is very convenient to Lake George and Glens Falls.
Had a lovely stay at the Quality Inn of Glens Falls. Loved the roomy king size bed and the over-sized bathroom counter sink where I could spread out my toiletry stuff. Hotel itself is easily located off of the exit 19 ramp off I87. Very close to gas and shopping stores. If i need to stay up north again i would select this hotel. Everything is just conveniently located close to the hotel just a short drive into town.
I specifically stayed at this hotel for breakfast. While there all 3 days we did not get to eat breakfast. There wasnt enough and the others guest were very greedy taking more then they should have. One family wad sitting at a table for 3 hours eating and ever time the food got refilled they were the first to get up and fill there plates while others just stood there waiting. I felt like staff should have said something to them. We ended up eating out all 3 days. I guess I need to make a better choice in my hotel next time.
I visit the area frequently so I like to try out each hotel in the area to see how they are. Chose this one not based on price, which was one of the cheapest that week, but just to see how it was. Location is a little depressing to me being jammed up against the road, sharing a parking lot with the lower-grade hotel next door. Its an okay place off-season, probably affordable for families in the high-season, but during the non-summer months, theres too much competition in the area at similar prices that would make me choose this hotel again. If it were the cheapest significantly, then yes, I would stay here again. It was clean enough, and quiet (but it was also very empty the night I stayed), and it was acceptable up to date.
Front desk person was extremely friendly and helpful, great customer service. Drove by hotel 3 times before actually seeing the quality inn sign, was very frustrating since we were pulling a trailer. Room was clean however bathroom tub would not hold water, had to hold washcloth over the drain in order to fill and mattress was very uncomfortable.
I already answered this in the survey. AC worked well and it was quiet. WiFi was horrible. Pubic hair from someone else was in the bed (dirty sheets) and bathroom. Shelf in bathroom was falling off the wall. Shower curtain rod was falling off the wall. Faucet wouldnt turn off completely. I had to fix the shower head so that my son could take a shower. Shower curtain was filthy. Tiles were missing in the bathroom and the voids filled with old caulking. Common areas werent air-conditioned and it was about 95 degrees outside (and in the common areas).Hey... I didnt see any roaches though!
Was a very good price but a few problems in our room. Bathroom door rubbed against floor and required brute force to open/close. Fridge and microwave did not work. Wifi was soooo slow, was not sufficient to use on iPad. Great value and location if you are not picky about your room. Man at front desk was awesome, very helpful.
Room was hot and air conditioner just blew warm air. Opened the windows but the cigarette butts and washclothes on the roof outside the window were disgusting. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, when I entered the bathroom and closed the door, there were hairs behind the door. The internet connection was horrible both in the room and lobby. At breakfast there was one person working the desk and breakfast room therefore the tables were not cleaned between guests using them and supplies were not replenished in a timely fashion. When I spoke to the desk staff at checkout, all he offered was excuses and said I should have contacted the staff when I feel he should have at least been offering Im sorry to hear that Mam. I had booked a room again in July but have since cancelled the booking. Would not recommend!!!!
We had stayed here once before and its a good location for getting to Saratoga Springs. The room was quiet; I had requested a back room as one reviewer had suggested. Bedding and towels were crispy white and clean. The couple of problems we had with the room were addressed by helpful staff. The parking lot is shared with another hotel so parking could be a problem.
The hotel was nice and peaceful. It had an indoor pool, but it opens at 9:00 am, and check out is at 10:00. the staff were all kind and friendly, and they answer all my questions. I would return to this hotel. the rates on the rooms were a low compare to every other hotel within the area. the room was nice and clean. Its only a few minutes away from the great Adventure theme park.
Overall it was an average experience. The checkin was quick and helpful with information. The first concern came when I entered the building. I was told to head around to the back and my room was at the top of the stairs. I did, it was, but the outside door of the hotel was unlocked ( I thought maybe that was just during daylight, but when I returned to the hotel near midnight the door still did not lock) that meant anyone walking in off the street had immediate access to all rooms, including mine without have to pass thru the lobby or be seen by anyone/. The room itself was big enough and had all the things you look for, but there were signs it had not been cleaned- like the straw wrapper on the floor from someone else. The room itself was heated to 80 degrees upon arrival on a July day! Took nearly 90 miinutes to get down to a comfortable temperature- wanted to open the windows, but they were broken and off the track so no luck there.Did not go to breakfast so I cant review that , nor did i use the pool. THe hotel -apart from the wrapper, was clean and the staff was very good.
I stayed 1 night for business. I have stayed at this hotel before. Rooms are clean. There is a, indoor pool that I have never used. My favorite part about this hotel is the interactive tv. You can use time warner on demand to pick what tv shows you want to watch. It is great after a day of work. Breakfast is pretty standard with both hot and cold items. The only bad part about this hotel is their internet connection. It took a long time for each page to load. Im just talking about normal web pages too. It would be impossible to try to watch a youtube video or netflix. Sometimes, the pages wouldnt load at all and you had to try to load the page again.
Upon entering the motel, you will be greeted by an energetic and inviting personality from Agawam, Massachusetts. Right across the street from the aviation mall and very conveniently tucked in the center of just about every type of restaurant you can need or want. There is an indoor pool and a continental breakfast. The beds are a little uncomfortable and there is absolutely NO SMOKING in the facility. It was pleasant being a guest of this Quality inn.
Had a very brash loud woman at the desk when we checked out in the morning. Rather, she was sitting in the lobby having a coffee and shouting across the room to someone regarding the election and what shes gonna do if her guy dont win. She was very rude and irritated that she had to get up and go print us a receipt. 😲 Not a good impression to leave with people staying at your hotel.
First, I must disclose that I read on-line reviews of this particular hotel and they were not good. We were kind of stuck because the hotels in the area were booked due to the racing at Saratoga that weekend and prices and locations were less than ideal. We felt we got a pretty good price considering the other options in the area. On-line reviews stated that there were problems with Plumbing Noise, Rooms Not Being Clean, Breakfast Assorment/Selection. NONE of these were a problem. In fact, we felt that this hotel exceeded our experience one month earlier at The Contemporary Hotel in Disney in some ways (without considering the location of course)! Room was spotless and appeared to be recently renovated.
I stayed 5 nights at the Quality Inn in Glens Falls the week of September 18, 2017. Shen I arrived the young woman at the desk welcomed me like a long-lost friend. I needed help a couple of times to find out how to get to Hannafords and US9, among other destinations. I needed to know where were some good places to eat. She knew the answers, and each one was clear and easy to follow. Each time I stopped by with a question she made me feel that she was really happy to be of assistance. When I left I felt like I had made a new friend. My room was comfortable and clean and well designed. The curtains kept out unwanted light at night. The cleaning staff were very pleasant and courteous. Ill go back there again!Barbi Jackson, Manahawkin NJ
Stayed one night in a very lovely room. The only tough thing was finding the hotel, missed their sign and had to call. If I had known ahead of time that Quality Inn shares the parking lot with Econolodge, then it would have been easy as they have a very large sign, but the front desk clerk was wonderful when I called and asked directions. Thank you for having such wonderful staff.
Hotel staff (especially Chris upon Check-In and during our first night), was exceptionally helpful and kind. For example, Chris made fresh coffee for us at 8 pm, suggested dining, and made certain the pool was open and stocked with towels. The day staff brought extra towels to our room at a very busy time. The breakfast was well-stocked and offered variety for even the pickiest small child. I sincerely appreciate the value and cleanliness, and the focus on customer service.
The hotel was in a conveinent location. Plenty of parking, beautiful pool. The staff was great on check in but seemed a litle odd when asked for cutlery to use with the food I had brought to heat in the microwave and store in the fridge. I had a loud sound in my room intermittenly all night long and I didnt actually believe it was something that could be fixed, but as soon as I reported it, it seems they took care of the problem. Dont miss breakfast. They stick with the schedule!
The room and bath were clean - lacked towels at check in. The pool was comfortable, but there were no towels. Both times, the desk clerk supplied the missing items. It is a motel, not a resort so it met my expectations. Not outstanding, but better than a lot of places I have visited.
Staff was very friendly, went out of their way to answer questions and get answers. Indoor heated pool was great, grandkids had a blast. Very good breakfasts and many item to choose from.Rooms were small, but for a two night stay, was manageable. Internet in the rooms are VERY slow. Safe kept giving errors, which we reported and was told it was common, but would be mentioned to manager. Our tv would not change channels, so was given another remote. Same problem so desk clerk came in to check it out. Found out you needed to be right on top of the tv to change channels, despite being told by the clerk It was operator error. (little rude in my opinion). Our room temp the first night climbed to 78, even though it was set on 64. Second night we managed to get it down to 74 but by 11pm, my daughter had to get up and turn it over to AC. Morning temp with ac was 72Mostly positive, would stay again. As stated customer service was wonderful and went out of their was to accommodate us. If they fixed the issues stated about I just know the ratings would climb.
Travelled as a family and we would definitely stay here again. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Had a good continental breakfast and area was kept clean and neat. Pool area was clean. Hotel was pretty quiet and not too busy. Mall and restaurants in close proximity. Great stay for the price we paid.
Laura your manager was horrible & we had to cancel our stay & book at another Hotel. She was rude & this hotel is really not pet friendly at all. They won’t allow you to leave your dog in the room even if your going out to get lunch or dinner! Be careful this hotel is not pet friendly at all because they have a pet waiver form that is not discussed on their Website! It’s a surprise waiver when you get to the hotel! You were warned!!!!!
Staff were all pleasant. Our hotel room was not ready when we checked in after 4:00 p.m. the first day. It took 15 minutes to check in even though we had reservations. Noticed the housekeeping staff took all day from 10:00 a.m. till 5:30 p.m. to clean rooms. No fitness room available. Not enough tables (only 4) in dining area for guests to eat at during breakfast. Did not realize that pets were allowed here. Noise from doors closing at all hours of the day and pets whimpering were disturbing when trying to sleep. Carpeting in stairwells were soiled.
Disorganized front end and check-in experience. Pet rates Excessive. Complimentary breakfast a real mess, cold sausage and eggs, fresh fruit old and bruised. Pool was very small and resembled a kiddie pool. Hotel lacked basic security, a major concern was the back door did not lock as anyone could have access to guests at any time of the day or night.
Price did not reflect the amenities/service at his hotel. Our room was close to the back door, and the lock on the outside door was broken. The front desk staff was not friendly, and the breakfast was very basic. We had to go elsewhere for coffee, as the brew provided by the hotel resembled brown water. We had a room with two queen beds, and there was barely enough room to walk around them- such was the size of the room.
Hotel itself was sufficient. Though quite an old odor in Lobby. Definitely 2 star. afternoon/evening staff was Flustered when we asked to cancel reservation-Beware pet policy charge $30 for dog. Highest I have ever seen in a 2 Star. He called GM immediately who after much heated discussion reduced rate to half. Room was clean and not as odorous as lobby. Sufficient for one night.
The Silo next door is fantastic, both the food and the gift shop. The donuts and fudge are excellent! Quick 20 minute drive to SPAC. Close to many nice restaurants. Don’t make the mistake of thinking the motel across the parking lot is where your room is. Huge mistake!
Driving into the parking lot, I knew that this was a place I would not let my worst enemy stay. Giving it the benefit of the doubt, we checked in and went to our room. The room was dark and the bedding had stains on it. We canceled our reservation and booked another hotel in Saratoga Springs. Save yourself the trouble...I would give it ZERO stars.
We needed a place to stay with our dog that wasnt a fortune and that was clean and comfy. Quality Inn exceeded our expectations again! Whenever we stay out of town 90% of the time we choose Quality Inn, and the only reason we dont the other 10% is because sometimes they arent everywhere. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and both were well taken care of.
The hotel is dated and needs updating. It is clean and well kept and the staff is incredibly helpful. We had a long wait ti check in as there was a large group that arrived ahead of us and took a longer than normal time to be checked in as most wanted to pay in cash, and split bills. Over all the stay was nice.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Quality Inn, Glens Falls, NY. The hotel was very clean, nicely decorated and a comfortable place to sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our experience was capped off with a delicious breakfast! I highly recommend that you give it a try!
Bathtub would not hold water so we informed the front desk on the first day. Reminded the front desk the next morning, we were assured someone would be up to fix it. After staying there for 2 nights/3 days, no one even came up to check out the tub. Also, housekeeping is not allowed to touch personal belongings so if you leave something on your bed, your bed will not be made. Anything that you leave a personal item on will not be cleaned. Last, inconsiderate people hogged up multiple parking spots closest to the hotel entrance and employees would not do anything about it. One truck/trailer took up 3 spots, including a handicapped spot and nothing was done to encourage this person to move. Employees were polite but not helpful...
Rooms are very outdated. Some of the staff was rude. Hotel has an overwhelming awful smell throughout, but worst in pool area. Breakfast was very unappealing often over cooked, and not supplied enough for demand. Wifi does not work at all. Felt like I stayed at an over priced motel..I did however like the location a lot, it was central to a lot of places. I would not stay at this hotel again, unless I knew there were changes made.
I have had residence in room 204 with one dog. There are many mold stains in the refrigerator, refrigerator with food left in the fridge and stains in the corners of the bathroom and bed areas. In addtion, the bathtub does not drain, dirty pillow case was not collected from the room and was found by the bathtub, and last but not least, a dried pea was found on the bed. Pictures were taken for all the above incidents. Prior to making the reservation, I specifically called the hotel and confirmed that I could leave the dog in the room (crated in) while enjoying the outdoor activities around Lake George. Apparently, a playpen and a crate for my dog were not considered a crate for him. We also lined the floor with a waterproof mat. We were then told that we were not allowed to do that for more than an hour, and even were told we could shorten our trip to one night, instead of 4 nights. We decided to leave since we didnt receive the original promise of our pet staying in the room plus we were pretty much told to LEAVE! I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service by so-called Quality Inn, which possesses 0% of quailty there. Why called Quality Inn?!
This hotel is very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even helped us find and old fashioned deli which we never would have found on our own. We stay here because our kids are grown and it is halfway between lake george and saratoga. We will stay here again next year.
Our experience was with the manager Chris Flores (AGM). I needed a very quite room, and the last room left was by the only heat pump. Chris went out of the way to find us another dog friendly hotel in the area. He made many calls while still taking care of his other customers. This was customer service at its best. They are very fortunate to have him.Thank You,Martha
Nice people when we arrived. They let us know all the things we needed to know. For instance, Where we could park, what time breakfast was, if we needed anything that they would be more than happy to help. Down side was where to take the dogs to use the bathroom (wintertime).
Although the room was slightly cramped, the roof didnt leak and the air conditioning worked. The shower had hot water. I was also able to find a parking spot.I suggest finding another place to eat breakfast.Wi-Fi is useless. I hope you have a good data plan and coverage on your cell phone.
This place is Great ! Recently renovated, this small modern hotel offers bright, clean rooms and bathrooms, an attentive staff, hot breakfast options and even an indoor pool! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to families and couples travelling to Lake George. Close to everything: Aviation Mall, Great Restaurants Six Flags etc.
Internet did not work. When I asked about it the staff member said oh, your on that end of the hotel and it does not work this was a work related trip and I had work to do.Soda machine was broken.Back door taped open so hotel was not secured. They put a hold on my personal credit card for almost $180 despite being pre approved to charge to my company card. Charged $1.50 for a hotel safe I did not use ( I had them remove it)
Wouldn’t stay here again. Too many issues from choice booking the wrong hotel, booked us in a different state. Booking the wrong type of room. Cable didn’t work. People tried to come in our room with another key card. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Was over charged.
WE were close to shopping and places to eat and only 10 miles from Lake George also Is close to Saratga for Casino Gaming and race track. The price was good in comparison to others I checked had a good stay and will look forward to next visit. Fast easy check in and check out
Broken room phone at check in, and dirty floor upon arrival. Second room A/C broke/smelled horribly during the night and had to change rooms. WiFi would not stay connected. Hot breakfast items kept running out/not available. Pool was extremely small and room overly warm.
We happened to stay here during BIkers week while we are not bikers. It was rather noisy in the parking lot even at 11:30 at night with motorcyles coming and going. Our little air conditioner in our room was not working when we arrived; it took about 30 minutes for a staff person to come to our room to fix that. The pool was small but OK since we were the only people in the pool. The beds were OK. The breakfast included eggs and sausage, waffles, muffins, cereal, yogurt, juice, fruit, and coffee.
A first room,a housekeeper dont pass to clean after a last visitor.(bed, bathroom)the second room,a manager said a give you a good room no noice but he gave a room just near a stair all night and a morning everybody past to go downtairs and we came back.wifi was badbreakfast no bread
On Saturday 9/30 the fire alarm went off.One person in our group went to find out if we needed to evacuate. The desk clerk said I guess so. Our party and several other guests waited in the lobby for further instructions. When the desk clerk came back, he said it was a false alarm. We asked if the fire dept was coming, his response was in a little while. We asked if we should return to our rooms, his response was I guess so. We were concerned that we werent asked to stay in the lobby until the fire dept. checked things out.My sister asked the female desk clerk around 9am that morning what the procedure was for a fire alarm going off; she didnt seem to know either. We travel with our 90 year old father. We stayed in this hotel in May and had no major issues. I am hesitant to stay in this hotel if staff does not know what the procedures are in case of a fire or other emergency.
The location is very good. It is not right in Lake George village so we didnt have to deal with the traffic, unless you take the scenic road to/fro, not the highway. The highway entrance/exit was extremely close. The Quality Inn sign is rather small compared to the Econo Lodge sign right next door, which is huge. So when you see Econo Lodge, turn into the driveway. The breakfast area has 4 tables so go early otherwise you will be eating in the lobby.
We stayed at your hotel on 7/11/2014 and our experience with your front desk clerk Chris was excellent. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to help us.However I dont like paying for a service I didnt request or use(The safe)The Hotel was clean and very well kept. The breakfast was decent.

2022-05-29One of the worst hotels weve stayed in... Sadly it was dirty, there were loud people everywhere, a dog barking until 1AM, there was a couch in our room that looked like it had never been cleaned with stains all over it, the A/C unit was knocking all night, the toilet was broken and mad an awful noise while filling back up and if you didnt move the handle just right it wouldnt flush. It was definitely not a place wed ever stay again. But atleast there was hot water.

2022-03-24Poor, as stated, when I was greeted at front desk, it was not good. When I said the website had car service, the receptionist yelled at me, “We have never had that!”… after I was surprised at her response, she apologized.

2022-02-19My stay was fine. However, I thought I was booking a Choice Hotel and I got an econolodge. I would not have paid the rate I would pay a hotel for an econolodge, but it was nonrefundable and once I got my reservation I was stuck at an econolodge.

2021-08-30Location is good but hotel stairs to room is very dirty and looks like not cleaned since long time. Expensive with compare to facilities they provide. In website sounds like a lavish breakfast but nothing except a small size muffin. House keeping service is zero. Management is nasty.I was there in lodge for 2 night 3 days with my family friends. I don’t recommend this place any one cause it is expensive and service is very poor.

2021-06-03Hotel has installed new floors since my last visit. Rooms look decent and bathrooms are well-decorated. The only issue I have with this hotel is the matresses. They are not soft and comfortable like I was expecting. The mattresses need to be improved to get me to come back to this hotel.

2022-02-26Check on was quick and easy, the gentleman at the front desk was informative and helped with the million questions i had when i called and before check in..lol the room was clean enough..we noticed after being in the room and pool there seemed to be dark long hair everywhere...in the drawers by the bed and in the pool while swimming but overall it was ok....there is also mold spots in the bathroom on the ceiling above the shower and im severley allergic.. I went w my 12 year old son and rather then chance it with the mold we checked out early tonight rather then stay over..But we had a great time at the pool...

2021-09-23This hotel is easy in and out, VERY clean, and affordable. The fact that they ripped out the carpet is my favorite part! No musty, gross carpet! The pillows were super comfortable and the AC was nice and cold.
