We were over charged (double) for a trip. When I called to try to figure out why the owner told me that I should not have been charged that amount, apparently the driver told the owner he had a recording showing that he didnt over charge. I called to resolve this and the owner decided he would refund me back what I was over charged and banned me from calling his company ever again. I dont need the refund. All This after using this company for over 20 years. Some nerve! What a bad attitude let alone customer service. I use this local company to support them rather than the others like Uber etc. but he obviously doesnt care about that. I never complained to them or questioned them on anything. I trusted them for who they are as a company and now they needed to lie to me, gip me and ban me on top of it! What a disappointment to humanity. SHAME ON YOU ECUA!!!!

They almost always make you wait a minute on the phone before reserving a car but theyre Always on-time and they have big SUVs for airport trips. Friendly service, highly recommended!
HORRIBLE TAXI SERVICE!!! Consistent times where the taxi has never come and no one even bothered to notify me so I wouldnt be waiting forever! Dont use this company, they will make you late and will come up with a million excuses as to why the taxi never showed up & or why they didnt even care to call!
Terrible! the dispatcher sent the car to the wrong side of the block He said I was playing games and left me in the rain to wait 20min for another car service
Quick response and very reliable...Prices are fair ... Although to would recommend. To them to get an tel additional line cause sometimes calls dont get through :-/ and I try 2-3 times .
Yo guys are the best. Looked you up on the internet. Called set up my car pickup for the next day at 5 am. It was right there on time. Price to the airport was actually cheaper than a yellow cab!

Terrible service. I called for a cab and when i got in the car and told the cab driver where i had to go , he told me hes not going to where my destination was. Instead he took me 15 minutes away from where i asked to and charged a lot. Whats the point in having a cab service if you dont want to take customers to where they have to go.

Lack of seriousness they dont send the taxis and they say 7 min and one calls fifteen minutes later and they throw away the phone and they dont answer and another day I call and it turns out that I cant use a taxi because it turns out that the dispatcher gave a bad grade about the ridiculous client ridiculous thank god there is Uber and with professional people and half prices always safe Ecua taxi they think theyre the only ones 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

2022-06-02Drivers are usually courteous. Cars clean. On one occasion though, on a trip to JFK Terminal 5 the driver went astray but eventually corrected: good thing I left home with time to spare so the time lost getting lost 😁 was made up for and I was still able to check in with time to spare. Affordable.

2022-03-16Ecua is one of the most professional car service companies I’ve found. I learned about them from my vet, at Steinway Court, near Steinway and Broadway in Astoria.For years, Ecua has come to Hunter’s Point, about 3 miles away, and picked up my Labradors for their exams, and then taken us home. The drivers are always polite and professional.The drivers tend to have lengthy histories working for Ecua, which suggests to me they are a good shop to work for. They always send someone for me and my large dog, even when the weather is poor.Today, they rescued me, a friend and my dog in the middle of an ice storm, when our car broke down. Their prices are totally fair. I love this company.

2022-02-01Horrible dispatcher. Called to see how much longer because I waiting out in the cold. he male dispatcher was beyond rude and sarcastic. Should have just stuck with uber, even though it was 15 dollars more. Would have never received such horrible customer service. Sorry Mr. Sanango, if the dispatcher wasnt so rude I wouldnt have canceled your services.
