The guy was being very rude and was trying to charge me more for my inspection then I have ever paid for one. Very ambiguous pricing.
They try to fail your car and overcharge for inspection. Guy kept playing around with the change giving another currency?? Blamed it on us and told us to not come back after calling him out for scamming us.
Very very friendly folks! They went out of their way to help me get a side marker light on my Benz fixed and it’s clear that Eddie knows what he’s doing. I have a busy schedule during the week and could only make it on one particular Saturday and they dropped what they were doing to help me out. Charged me a very fair price too which made my day!
Today, l just stopped in front of driveway for seconds to write text. A lady, may be owner maybe worker , came and recorded me , my car and registration on window . Why l blocked driveway ? Even l was in car . *This is a diculous behavior ever *
He is good car mechanic. Soft speaking but knows his job. Good and Friendly and his mom is such a good person too. Id say she is half Car mechanic by now. A Beautiful Shop of Mom And Son.
So I went to this guy for DMV inspection. He told me that I failed the inspection because of the brake pad in my 2017 Camry. He said it will cost me $200 total, including changing the brake pad and passing the DMV inspection. I asked around and the brake pad only cost around 90 dollars. Once he was done he said he will only take cash and won’t give me a receipt or I have to pay tax on top of 200 if I want the receipt. I told him I can pay with my debit card and he can give me the receipt. I told him he can charge me tax on my card since I did not had enough cash with me. But he refused to take card and wanted cash and would not give me receipt. This guy is a total scammer. Never go to this guy. Stay away.
I came around 9:00 p.m. for an inspection.My car was 2017 Toyota RAV4.The service was quick. The staff were nice.But the guy said, the car failed the inspection.The reason he gave was that I need to drive the car another two or three hundred miles more& then come back next week.He already charged $37 & will charge another $37 if I pass next week.Im not sure if this was a legitimate result or fraud but I will come back next week and rewrite the review again!
This place is terrible and ghetto, called just to ask about inspections and then the lady hung up on me, that was the first red flag, i show up to do inspection and they tried to convince me that my back tints needed to be removed so they can charge me for it... they are legal in NY and I bought it this way from the dealership.. Avoid this place

This place is a ROBBERY! LITERLLY. I don’t recommend anyone to go to this mechanic. Went there for a routine car inspection and after he fails me, he tells me the lights, that I’ve had for 4 years, is the reason my inspection failed. Then wants to charge me $37.All of a sudden, a car pulls up behind mine and blocks us in. Clearly part of their plan.They have their sign hiding behind boxes insides, not visible. This place is a joke.So funny how all the most recent reviews he claims he didn’t work on them and never saw them. This is REAL review.
Friends of mine have been coming here for years because Eddie did good work and he was honest. He is no longer there but the tradition continues.... I had brought my car there once years ago and yes, he did a great job. I desperately needed an inspection and they were open on a Saturday! The receptionist was a complete doll and so was the young man who checked my car. I will be back! THANK YOU!
Went for the state inspection of my car. The guy (and the lady) told me they would charge $150 for removing the tint from the windows( plus $37) for the inspection. I decided to go somewhere else. They charged $37 and failed the test. I did not have cash and requested to go to ATM. They HOLD my keys and were extremely rude and disrespectful. I literally walked in the rain with my 3 years old daughter to give him his frickin $37. NEVER EVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. PLZ DONT GO TO THIS PLACE AT ALL.
I bought four new Michelin tires from Eddie and he installed them in one day. I get a good vibe from Eddie and Karina even though I can be very skeptical at times. So far every time I’ve gone to Eddie I’ve had a good experience.
Got my oil filter/ oil changed at a separate body shop. They didn’t code out the oil light- all that is required is odb & computer to reset it. Eddie said that “ this requires more than just an odb reset,” when I asked him to specify what is needed, no words besides “ this’ll cost about $60”. Dishonest man don’t reccomend going here!
Went there for a car inspection for a Subaru no check engine lights. Eddie wanted to charge $120 I would report this event to the city. But also making money in a decent way should be considered in how honest a shop should be , he wanted to replace my turning direction lights because they blinked too fast also wanted to charge me for rear tints, this is the first time a mechanic actually tells me that I failed inspection because of this. I think he just needed money to fix his old cars in his shop. Good luck I hope those $37 dollars after calling the police on you are worth it my friend!
Eddie was recommended to me by one of my friends that brings his 2 cars to him for over 3 years, I’ve been to several shops and they couldn’t find the problem. Eddie diagnosed it in 15 minutes, and had my car on the road in a few days. I would highly recommend this place, they are very nice and very knowledgeable.
First time car owner, came for an inspection, the guy waited until the end to tell me that it failed because of a very big crack in the windshield which was very obvious and I had no idea would cause the inspection to fail. I would have not done the inspection if I had known this and instead of being a decent human being he decided to not mention it until it was too late. Basically stole my money, thanks for nothing. And yes, this is a real review, this happened today before you start replying that this is a fake review. 1 star for the cost of the failed inspection.

Eddie is the best! It’s a mother/son team with amazing customer service. Eddie really knows his stuff! Got us taken care of ASAP!And...to top of it off he’s got some mind blowing personal projects going on around the shop!
If I would have found less one star in the rating I would have even given that , went today for inspection and he failed the inspection of the car saying my car tires don’t meet requirements to pass the inspection where on I got brand new tires less than a year ago and I have spare tires as well and get them rotate all the time whenever I do oil change. Never ever go to this place

My experience was not great. I went with problem of car pulling to right because I hit a pot hole. He said your chassis is damaged but did not show me anything for me to see the damage. He does not have a lift to raise the car. He did not even show me what parts he replaced. I do agree that he spent 4 hours to fix the problem but it did not get fixed

Eddie is the best mechanic, he checked my BMW and told me that even if he does the work not necessarily will fix the problem, told me might not be worth fixing. Never had a mechanic be so honest. I highly recommend this place.
Guy is a complete rip off. Took my car here to get a diagnostic to pinpoint and issue and he straight up told me its $200 just to check the engine trouble code. He doesnt know what hes talking about didnt even look under the hood or turn the car on to hear any issues.
This is a real review.. I gave him one star because shop is open till 10pm . Do not go to have your card inspected as this shop will try to shake you down.. I passed state test on computer with flying colors. However the shop attendant. Tried to shake me down for toll of a $100 for a light bulb on my license plate... May indeed be a good auto body shop just do not go to have your car expected.
Very friendly people. I brought an Audi Q7 for oil change and general check-up. Eddie is a knowledgeable professional mechanic and nice person to chat with. the prices are reasonable. I will highly recommend this shop.

I’ve been repairing my MB ML550 with Eddie for several years now, I purchased a second car for my wife without having it checked, it was a BMW M3 that had several problems and a check engine light. Eddie found the problem right a way and gave me a great price on the repair. Eddie known exactly what his doing. I would highly recommend him, he has very reasonable prices and great customer service.
Went to change three bulbs for my car and change the oil. I left the car there for an hour. He was on time but when I asked him how much, he charged me 185 dollars for three bulbs and oil change just because I didnt know any better since its my first time owning a car. After I left, I asked and I found out that changing light bulbs and changing oil should not cost more than 100 dollars.This place is a scam.
The guy there rips people off. Paid $47 instead of $10. Stay away from him. He failed me for tints even though I’m exempt from tints. The place is absolutely horrendous, large roaches crawling everywhere.
Do not wast your time or money at this place. They didn’t discuss the price up front with us (which is our fault) but their prices for service were not clearly listed.They charged $185 for a light bulb change and an oil change mmmmmm no thanks. Not again. If you look at my business review history I am not a chronic angry reviewer. I am just trying to help a another driver out.

Eddie is great, I called him to see if he can help, My Mercedes shot off and wouldn’t start, even tho he was packed he took my car in on 4th of July when no one will even give me an appointment, this place was packed with Mercedes. He got my car running and got me on the road, didn’t even overcharge me, very reasonable price.

Called to get information on tuning and was told we can do anything. When I tried to explain what I wanted they hung up on me. I called back and a different person answered I could hear the other person I spoke to in the background saying I have to bring it in to discuss anything. I explained I live 2 hours away and that isnt feasible just to find out if they have the ability to tune my car. Thats extremely shady and very unprofessional.

Eddie is a cool guy with lots of cool cars, hes building his own batmobile, he has back to the future Delorean, his also building his own Scooby Doo van, not to mention all the corvettes he has.I shoped at his comic book store and he checked my car, topped the fluids and didnt even charged me. And he has a scary bat dog, his name is Ace.
I called several places to try to take my BMW in for a repair, I was getting extreamely high prices. Eddie is excellent, he explained everything in details. I got great service and great price.

Do not go here. Went in for an inspection, guy starts digging around my car and tried to go under the hood (it’s an inspection, plug in the computer and that’s the end of it). In the process of trying to get under my hood proceeds to break my hood release cable. And then tries to hold me hostage and charge me over $60 to change 3 light bulbs otherwise he’s failing my inspection. I told him to fail me, went to an actual reputable place and passed inspection.

2022-06-07Very disgusting behavior. Guy charged me $57 for an inspection. They failed me for the inspection. They said I failed saying I had scratches on my rim. He said I needed new rims. My car is not even a year old. He tried selling me new rims and charging me $1000 per rim. That’s $4000. I paid him $57 cause he wouldn’t let me leave til I paid. Went somewhere else an hour later and passed the inspection.

2022-06-06I felt unsafe here. He was very rude and disrespectful. Failed me for inspection saying my brakes were bad. Brakes arent part of inspection and I had my brakes changed a month ago and havent taken my car out since. He told me to change my front brake pads it would cost $300. He was just looking to fail me to get double the inspection money and a brake job money. I had to pay him for the failed inspection and then went to a different shop the same day and got my inspection done and they checked my brakes and said the brakes are fine. Please stay away. Really unprofessional. Doesnt know how to treat the customer.

2022-06-01Really rude and aggressive guy. Over charging for everything. Failed me for inspection and I passed within the next hour at another shop. Has aggressive dog that tried to attack me. Mom and son dont know how to speak to their customers correctly. Tried charging $57 for inspection when its 37 everywhere. Would not recommend. Stay away. They will steal your money.

2022-06-08I was passing by when I figured lemme get my inspection done and when I got out the car his dog came running at me and almost attacked me then he tried charging me $57 for an inspection when its $37 everywhere. He failed my inspection saying my high beams are too bright when these are the factory high beams. I went to a different shop the same day and they passed me. Hes very rude and aggressive. He kept telling i need to change my factory high beams and put his aftermarket high beams on for $150 per bulb. Normally I dont write reviews after a bad experience but this experience was really bad.

2022-06-01This place is a complete scam! Brakes change in this place was asking for $250 while everywhere else is $90 for my car. Top of that, he will try to fail you in the vehicle inspection any way possible! Don’t go to this place at all, or he’ll over charge you! Whatever good reviews this place has, is done by themselves.

2022-06-07The dog tried attacking me. Failed me for inspection stating that I failed cause mirrors weren’t adjusted correctly. I said you can adjust them and he said you should’ve had it adjusted before you came in. Charged me $57 for a failed inspection. Was very rude and aggressive. Please stay away. Never been so disappointed.

2022-06-07Went to this place, the guy try to charge me $67 for the inspection while it’s $37. Top of that, it’s a new car bought a month ago. Failed me over a minor scratch on my tire rims. Really PATHETIC. NEVER AGAIN.

2022-06-02Worst place ever. First thing this place brings is death by a wild untrained dog. The dog came running to me and attacked me. The guy is a scam. He is passing people illegally charging high amount. He asked me to pay him $140 for inspection. So then we had an argument and he literally said not to ever come to this place. I will call the state and animal services to report this a**hole and hope he can’t do business ever again hurting people pocket

2022-06-22Worst place ever, they have a dog off leash on the property, charge extremely crazy. They’re super rude.Came in for a photo inspection on a brand new car and they thought it was a regular inspection and remove my old inspection for a month ago. And they said it doesn’t matter if it old o new they’ll remove it and change it. If you wanted. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

2022-04-09Ok. Wow. I pulled over quickly to check my gps. A lady came over HARASSING ME recording me and the passenger my registration and license plate and refusing to move out of the streets. I see she’s done this to another person. I recorded the entire ordeal just in case this psycho wants to claim I hit her. Beware people.
