Hands down the best food Ive ever eaten in my life. Brough my girlfriend out for valentines day and we loved it. Service was nothing short of stellar, drinks were great, and did I mention the food?!?! I ordered the grilled halloumi for an appetizer and was blown away with the size and how amazing it tasted. I then ordered the pan roasted chicken. Dont sleep on that menu item. The flavors and presentation were great. Currently eating some leftovers and Im in heaven!! Thanks for the awesome experience Rich, Chris and everyone else involved, cheers!
One of the best meals that I’ve had in a long time! Was so great tasting food that was creatively prepared and thoughtfully delicious-as use of flavors was amazing! Best strip steak that I’ve ever eaten. Salad lettuce was so fresh with just the perfect amount of dressing! Incredible wine selection. To top it off -the service was top notch! Hope to return soon!
First time here and not impressed.. upon arrival the hostess was not friendly at all. Our group felt super uncomfortable & as someone who’s hosted before you’re the first face people see. The food was not worth the price, very fatty meat and even though all ordered the same they were cooked to different temperatures.. It was very expensive for the mediocre food: The only 5 stars I’ll give this place is to the male servers on last night. Brian was extremely friendly, helpful, and just a great energy all around. He was the best part about the experience, we really enjoyed him as a server. Their was a tall younger man, not sure if he was serving or setting tables but he also stopped to talk to us and he was so genuine and excited about the food. This place has potential, and I can recognize a bad night so maybe in a few months I’ll give it a second chance and change my review
Three stars because the service was great. The food is mediocre at best. The locals seem to love this establishment. I found that it was too salty. They are trying to hard to be innovative with their dishes. My ravioli was swimming in too much butter. It was over done and falling apart. Too much dressing on all dishes that were served to us. I would recommend other places for dinner far better for your money. I wont be back that is for sure.
The menu is small but they do change it daily so it keeps things fresh.What they do they do very well.Brians demeanor and attentiveness made this place fantastic and took care of all our needs.The prices are such that this probably isnt an every day restrurant but I will definately be back for special occasions and date nights with my wife.Excellent place to for dinner.
Eden is the best restaurant in Syracuse and it isnt particularly close. Each time we go we find every aspect excellent: fresh foods, delicious dishes, friendly and skilled staff, creative recipes, and a wonderful atmosphere. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this place. I will be back as often as I can.Dishes ordered: Sausage and Pierogis, Pan Seared Halibut over Cassoulet, Brown Butter Goat Cheese Tortellini, Chocolate Truffles, Buttermilk Panna Cotta with Blueberry Compote
*I* ate like a HOSS and spent >$100 just in myself however that’s not necessarily the norm. So take my #Foodie bill with a shaker of salt. Service was superb, as was the food. I’ll add photos in a bit. I highly recommend and will be back if the menu changes before I move. Shame I’ve been in Syracuse 3 years and only just found this gem randomly this Thursday night. Shame on Google for hiding your establishment. And there “HIGH QUALITY HEYTCH TWO OH!” 💪🏾😎
Eden called and informed us the OpenTable app booked us an outdoor table in error. They were implying that they had no service outside, I asked if they would serve us since it was booked for a graduation celebration, they agreed to it, though it seemed reluctantly.We arrived on time and we’re escorted to the front patio where there were several outdoor tables; all tables outside were Unoccupied at 7pm.Immediately the server asked us if we could place the food order as we received our first drinks because the kitchen was “very busy”. We quickly ordered on his advice.Surprisingly our appetizers arrived 5 minutes after putting the order in to a “very busy” kitchen, a palette cleanser arrived a minute after the appetizers. The entree arrived 9 minutes after that.This was an intentional speed service overload at the table by our server. (The server was the one on the phone encouraging us to not keep the reservation). He was determined to ruin the graduation celebration because we kept, in his mind, the questionable reservation.I have never witnessed this psychotic behavior by a lead service person. He tried to apologize but he was not sincere and unconvincing since intentionally slamming the table with all ordered items after 15 minutes of being seated.This is not an exaggeration, we were there for 15 minutes and the table had appetizers, a palette cleanser, and our entree in addition to our first drink order. It was shocking to all 4 of us to say the least.I asked him why he is treating us in this fashion, and was it due to the an OpenTable malfunction, he responded in weird whispers while heavily perspiring. I firmly explained to him his fully intentional behavior cannot be forgiven.The restaurant food was ok, we made the best of it,however this server just got off the bus from crazy-town.

2022-03-25Very impressed with the commitment to roasting and grilling everything over real wood fires. We were told it’s a 45+ minute procedure they have down to a science before service starts.Eden also does Upstate New York justice by showcasing local wineries, spirits and food while pairing it all together well. Everyone on staff including the head chef/owner were all very attentive. The customer service they provided shines as their top priority. The menu is sleek and changes frequently which allows the guests to have something new to try every visit. The beverage manager / head bartender is a level 2 sommelier who is constantly working on their craft. They do well to balance every cocktail with PRECISION - never overpowering the rustic food the chef puts out.Everything was timed very well and we never had to wait for service. We cannot wait to come back!Great job to the Eden team and owner for leading with love! ❤️❤️❤️

2021-09-04Had a wonderful dinner here a couple weeks ago. This place is one of the nicer and higher rated places in Syracuse so my bf and I really wanted to try it out.The cocktail I had was very unique and tart, we got the mushroom toast which was definitely my favorite of the night. We enjoyed the grilled watermelon, and I really love when restaurants offer a small free one bites. It really makes the experience feel very upscale. We got the lobster and shrimp dinner which was very tasty and the chicken. Although the chicken was probably my least favorite dinner it had a wonderful garden taste, very summery and fresh.I was pretty disappointed with the dessert choice unfortunately. It needs some sort of extra sweetness like a cookie crust or even some ice cream. The peaches itself was very tasty but they gave us a lot and I got bored with the dish very quickly and did not finish.The main bartender here is wonderful and has created some very unique drinks that should definitely be checked out.Overall I really liked this place and plan on going back to try the different seasonal drinks and food.

2022-05-20Everything was excellent. We had the mushroom toast and grilled halloumi for appetizers. Both amazing.Steak with Chimichurri sauce and goat cheese tortellini for entrées. Amazing again.Blueberry compote and chocolate pot de creme for dessert. The compote tasted like a cold crème brûlée (amazing) with shortbread. And the creme was the perfect chocolate moose- fancy s’mores also amazing.Cocktails and drinks also great.Brian was a great server! Couldn’t recommend this place more

2021-11-16This place was absolutely amazing. The food is cooked from woodfired stoves which is brilliant. Octopus was amazing with a great char to it along with all the other entrées we had. The mixed drinks were out of this world thanks to Keenan. this is the place to go to impress somebody or simply have a good time. I love open kitchens. Don’t forget about the food it is the best in the area.

2021-10-14The restaurant has a great atmosphere. Menu is pretty small with 4 starters and 4 mains. I wasn’t into any of them to be honest. In the end my girlfriend loved the food while I didn’t like it too much. So this is a mix for her 5* and my 3*. Prices are reasonably high.

2021-12-15We sat at the bar even though our reservation was for a table which worked out great because the bartender was great and made the experience a very good one. Its pricey but a good meal and the staff was wonderful. Dessert was delicious. You will need to make a reservation in order to get in.

2022-01-30Came here for the first time and was impressed with the place and the great stuff. The menu is small, but thats what makes it great and you know its cooked fresh, not frozen. The food was unexpected. We tried a lot of the food and shared with each other and there was stuff I didnt expect to like and I loved it. The small in-between food they bring to the table, thats complimentary, is so great. Will be coming back again.

2022-02-15Clear a day NOW and make a reservation.Set the bar very high and I dont think there are many places in Syracuse that can meet let alone surpass the quality of the food and drink.Started with the grilled halloumi and it set the tone for the evening. Elevated ingredients that represent the careful planning that went into each menu item.Pan seared chicken was warm, inviting, with punches of sweetness from the carrots. NY strip was zesty, vibrant, and the polar opposite of the chicken.If youre in any doubt ask the staff. They will explore your tastes and preferences and pair you with their best recommendation. Would have never paired the Pascal cocktail with the chicken and couldnt be happier having experienced it.SAVE ROOM FOR DESERT. And go early, the specials do and will run out.

2022-05-29Everything that I had here was fantastic. The mushroom toast small plate was incredible as well as the grilled halloumi. But the real star of this place would be the ember cooked steaks. The sirloin with the compound butter was fantastic. The other highlight was the unique and adventurous cocktail menu.
