Such a cute atmosphere here - service was great and they had an outdoor seating area with heating. Food was delicious, the margarita and rum punch pitchers were super yummy also! The view is great and all around, this is an amazing place to grab dinner around sunset!
Meatballs are spectacular!!!! Petit filet was good but without the gorgonzola, Im not really a fan. I like the grizzled and fat....my fault perhaps for ordering that particular cut but what a great portion size and so tender!!! One of favorite restaurants
Over all experience was horrible. We were sat directly behind the hostess stand and we were rushed completely. The girl kept looking at us to see when we were leaving because she had another party after us. Mind you, we didnt even get our meals yet. For appetizers I got the seared ahi tuna and crab bisque. Seared tuna was okay but over cooked, the inside which is supposed to be a nice red and a fleshy pink color. As for the bisque, no lumps of crab in it. The flavor of the bisque itself was good but the texture was like if you were drinking orange just with some pulp in it, so just stringy. For my entree I got the fillet mignon and shrimp. The meat was cooked to the temperature I wanted and the flavor just needed more seasoning but overall not bad. The shrimp was nice but it was supposed to be a baked shrimp with bread crumbs on it and it was uneven breading. The spinach was very good. As for the potatoes I would literally never eat whatever sauce they put on it. Tasted like truffle oil on the potatoes, it was horrific. I also got a side of risotto which was completely over cooked so the cheese they mixed into it became watery. For dessert I ordered the chocolate lava cake. Completely over cooked. Lava cake should have a warm, gooey middle and when you open it it should just ooze everywhere. Mine was dense from being over cooked and had way too much cocoa powder in it which left my mouth super dry. It came with vanilla ice cream which was good but I highly doubt they make their own.
I love everything about this place. The food and ambiance is worth every cent.

We had an amazing brunch. We sat outside with a view of the water. Not a great weather day but its what my wife wanted for her birthday breakfast. She was very happy and thats all that counts.The food was outstanding the the service was very good also. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves the water as much as we do.
Love this place, even if they were to mess up (not likely). They will do the right thing. The food and service is always on point! Price is a little high but very well worth it!
The view is breathtaking and the food is delicious. The wait for a table would be better if there was a waiting area. Once seated, the wait staff was attentive and engaging. The food came out looking and tasting good. I would definitely go back again.

Edgewater gets 5 stars from me even though my server disappeared for over 10 minutes while I waited to close my check. Who does that? My busser was amazing, very attentive. The seafood was incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the location. I cant wait to go back!

Had a family reunion, my Uncle lives in the area and said it was a great place. Atmosphere was good, service was good and our food was great! Thanks for accommodating eleven of us on our special occasion. It was a great experience dining there we all left full, happy and feeling great!
The food was delicious; we left full and the outdoor seating was great. Beautiful views! The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The only reason I rated 4/5 stars was because the flies outdoor were annoying. I am not sure what, but maybe they can do something to shoo them away! Overall, GREAT dining experience; definitely recommend.

My in-laws hosted a Sunday brunch here for the morning after our wedding. All the food and staff were EXCELLENT. The owner was also there and made sure we were all satisfied. We could not have chosen a better place for the quality & value. Also, the kids loved the koi pond! THANK YOU, EDGEWATER!!

If you’re not wearing Chanel or Prada, don’t expect to get the same level of service as the rest of the Hamptons chic crowd. The couple next to our table that looked visibly wealthy had their waiter attending to them very often - came by their table at least 3-4 times. Our waiter came by ONCE (after waiting 10-15 minutes) to take our order. Then someone else came by to drop off the food. Then no one to be seen afterwords. Had to go find a waiter to ask for the check. Not the first time this has happened at a Hamptons establishment, but this was very blatantly clear that we were judged by how we looked (which was totally fine and acceptable for going out). Really incredible how you are judged by your social status in this overrated community.

Amazing dinner celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The first restaurant we ate inside in over a year, and we felt 100 percent covid protocols were in place, inside and outside on deck. Excellent service, food was delicious and ambiance and view perfect. Thank you!

Nice location, and atmosphere. Food was a bit disappointing. The “seared tuna” is completely raw, black and blue tuna. It is not seared by any means. When I told the server I wasn’t expecting it to be completely raw, he said it is sushi grade. So what? The menu says it’s seared! Which means seared on the outside and pink in the middle. The linguini clam was only chopped clams, for $28 there should be whole clams in it as well.. it is Long Island after all, where local clams are not too far away..
Everyone was friendly and nice the food was great the view was spectacular we were sitting outside on a balcony and I loved every minute of it. Would definitely visit again
This place is amazing from the food to the service and even the view I came here for the first time and I wasn’t disappointed. The waiter was so nice and patient and he even gave me a recommendation of what to eat and let me tell you I ate the best chicken dish I have ever had in my life I cannot wait to go back! Easy 5 star.
Delicious food, good service starting with the appetizers. The bruchetta is delicious, some of the best Ive ever had. Since this is a seashore restaurant, theres lots of seafood dishes. But theres plenty of choices for non-fish lovers as well, all well prepared. During the summer season, expect to wait, its a popular place to eat,see and be seen. Theyve made some good adaptations to increase outdoor dining.
The blueberry mojito is a must have! The chorizo pizza was really tasty. We get the orrechiette broccoli rabe & sausage almost every time we come. Love the outdoor dining here too.
Food incredible and Customer service incredible! We had mussels and the roasted duck pizza, and both were some of the best meals weve had here in NY and NYC. Even the bread appetizer was great.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I went here for the first time as a double date with my boyfriend, my best friend and her fiancé. I’ve never heard of this place before and was excited to try a new spot. From the moment we sat down it was an enjoyable experience. We had the best waitress, Chrissy. The food was INCREDIBLE. Great atmosphere. Definitely will be a repeat customer!

I wouldve given 5 stars since the food was amazing and almost everyone was really helpful and nice. However, I got a mediocre waitress although it wasnt busy at all 🤷🏽♀️ Overall, I will definitely come back and bring family and friends
This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of the Hamptons. I’ve had almost everything on the menu. I have never been disappointed with a meal. The service is always incredible. The restaurant is always clean. You can catch some really beautiful sunsets eating dinner out on the deck!
Tuna was rare and ICE COLD in the middle. Had to ask if we had a waiter after the 2 groups seated AFTER us were ordering drinks. Unfortunately, was not a good experience for us.
Hi John-To give some details on my rating. We went this past Sunday for a late brunch, and a lot of tables had cleared our when we were sat for our reservation. Service was quite slow and all of the food we received from the kitchen was under-cooked. I never send food back, but specifically the chicken wings were not edible and could have made us sick. Unfortunately we will not be coming back for your Sunday Brunch specials.

Nice atmosphere and good food with very good table service. Prices were a little high. Had salmon with farro salad which was very tasty. My girlfriend had a pasta dish with chicken meatballs which were a little dry and overcooked . Willing to come back and try other dishes here.
Had dinner here the other night. The service was attentive and the servers were friendly. This s a great restaurant. Noise level was low, so it was easy to enjoy conversation with my meal. I had the Linquinette, linguine with clam sauce , It was outstanding! Cooked perfectly with fresh clams, The portion was pretty large. We also had Mussels and salads which were fresh and prepared beautifully. The view is great. Overall this is exactly what you want when you go out to dinner, a great atmosphere, great service and excellent food. Well be back. Outstanding. Oh, the prices are very fair.

Great food and service. The lobster pasta was fresh and tasted great, and the gnocchi appetizer was tasty. The outdoor seating in the section we were at (front of the building) was only ok. Dim lighting at some tables and the wind can be bothersome. Overall a nice place though.
Such great food and views. The staff is so nice and tries to accommodate you as quickly as possible. Also they do take out, so if you still want the food you can get a drink at the bar and get your food. Love this place!
Hidden gem. Place looks very different from the street. Its jam packed and buzzing. Bar is full. And there was a little wait but theres outdoor couches to sit on and have a drink. The food was excellent across the board. The chocolate lava cake did lack lava! Haha but other then that the food, service and atmosphere were on point. We recently moved out this way and will be adding this place to our regular list for sure!

Went to dinner a month ago for my friends birthday. I had ordered a salad that had crab on it. I’m a pescatarian and do not eat meat. The menu never stated that there was bacon on the salad. When the salad I ordered got brought to my table, it had bacon sprinkled all over it. I don’t typically send food back, however I could not eat it due to the fact there was bacon In it. The waiter seemed a bit annoyed, but agreed to bring me back a new salad. Once receiving the new salad 20 min later when the rest of the table was finished with their meals, I looked at the food and there was STILL bacon in it. They just took some of the bacon off the crabmeat salad. The waiter told me there was no bacon on it, and I needed to physically show him there was still some on it. I did not order another meal from that point due to the Fact the kitchen staff couldn’t spend an additional 5 minutes to put new lettuce on a place with a spoonful of crabmeat, they decided to take the lazy way out. Unfortunately, I will never be returning and will continue to preach my poor experience to many clients I have In the Hamptons to never dine here again.

Hands down ... our favorite restaurant in Hampton Bays. We love the specials during the winter, love coming and enjoying the outside seating and the views in the summer. Food is consistently delicious, service is outstanding. We were just there last night to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Favorite dishes are the filet mignon, chicken milanese and lobster pasta ... but everything that we have had is amazing. Must have for dessert - toasted almond cream cake! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! If you havent been ... GO! You will not be disappointed.
There isnt a bad thing on the menu. Service always amazing. Beautiful views. We have had just about every dish and appetizer on the extensive menu from pasta to chicken, steak and seafood. All absolutely delish! We love the Pear and Gorgenzola salad, crab bisque and lobster pasta. When they close for vacation in February we have withdrawal! You will never be disappointed here!

Service was good, niceatmosphere. Came for a friends bachelorette dinner which was happening a lot so that was good. My review is mostly for the special I ordered which was baked fish but it was served to me cold. I told the waitress and she removed it from the bill which was nice. If that didnt happen Id rate it 4 stars.
Excellent food from start to finish. Over the top service too. Great views of the water and comfortable booth made for a perfect evening with my family. Eaten here many times over the years and its always satisfied us.
Great atmosphere, friendly service. We went for the 2 for 1 dinner special. Extra salad was worth it -- fresh and crunchy. For entrees we had the mushroom tortellini, Cod special and Pork dish, all delicious.

We went there on Fathers Day with a group of 15 and they took such great care of us. The food was delicious, the grounds outside were so nicely kept up, and the service wonderful. I would definitely recommend.
Excellent Seafood restaurant overlooking Shinnecock Bay. The fish is fresh, good menu selections, and a popular hot spot just east of the Canal. Expect a wait as there is always a crowd. There is a nice bar and outdoor dining too.
Good food.Drinks were terrible - very little flavor and essentially no alcohol. Tried other diners’ drinks to confirm - all tasted like mildly flavored water and 100% clear that if there was any alcohol it was no more than a few drops.

Everything we had was fantastic. Pizza is great, not too thin and dough is very tasty. Shrimp and mushroom risotto app was one of the best of the night. Got the shrimp fra diavolo extra spicy and I was perfecttttt. Great (and fast) service never had to ask for a thing!
Beware - This restaurant billed me for a no show when I cancelled my reservation through Yelp, it may not have gone through to their system? No idea, but when I explained this they didnt care and refuse to remove the charge. This is a warning to anyone who makes a reservation with the restaurant, will definitely never be coming here and will advise friends to avoid it as well.
The only restaurant I go to the most and where I take all who visit me in Southampton. Service is good and drinks, garlic knots is crazy good. Bravo on the new appetizer Meatballs and mozzarella 😀 , pesto gnocchi,pizza,steak,ect.Yes they have special of the day too. Why not 5 stars? Needs better desserts and would love to see different items on menu and different specials (for the locals)

Best tartuffo Ive ever had. Instead of the horrid maraschino cherry in the middle they mixed a sort of cherry jam with the pine nuts.
Thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience. The seared tuna was exceptional. The grilled octopus was perfectly charred on the outside and tender on the inside. Portions are quite large throughout the menu.

Best restaurant in HB. Food is consistently good. My go to is the shrimp fra diavolo. I ask for them to remove the tails ahead of time, as it is awkward and messy while covered in sauce. My wife gets the shrimp risotto, and the kids are happy the pizza, cesar salad, and mozzarella sticks. We all love the calamari and garlic knots as well.

Best Italian food in the hamptons hands down. Some must trys are the mushroom risotto, duck pizza and lamb chops. The service is impeccable and the staff really makes you feel like family. Great ambience located across the street from the water. A must try when in the Hampton Bays.

Located in Hampton Bays right across from Shinnecock Bay, Edgewater features indoor and outdoor fine dining with a breathtaking view of the water that you are sure to enjoy as you taste fine Italian cuisine and delicious seafood recepies.
The food at Edgewater was fantastically fabulous! Every bite was scrumptious. The servers are all super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

One of the best restaurants on the East End-We always look forward to bringing our out of town guests who visit for their first taste of, The Hamptons to Edgewater.Always a great meal and the service is top notch.From dinner to brunch you cant go wrong, (My wife loves the lobster pasta-my favorite is the filet and shrimp.)I would call this place a true hidden gem of the East End, but its always busy-! If you wander in without a reservation, there is a great bar to have a drink while you wait, (You gotta check out the cool lights embedded IN the bar top itself, never seen that before…)Edgewater is on our weekly rotation, been coming here for years, always a great time. If you are lucky enough to live out here, or are just visiting, you gotta try this place--
Edgewater Restaurant was fabulous worth the 45 min wait. The stuffed Flounder was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful since my sister uses a wheelchair.
The hostess left us standing there while she talked on the phone. Then she walked away, still talking on the phone and we were still waiting to be seated. The food was fine and service was good. A bit noisy in the restaurant

Good food + attentive service, but the decor is hideous considering it is an ocean view restaurant in the Hamptons it looks more like it belongs in Hempstead. Wish they would reinvest their profits and hire a good Interior Designer so that the atmosphere is on par with the food and service.

Edgewater is possibly the best value in Southampton for a superb steak and reasonably priced wines by the glass. Our waiter Brian was really helpful and also a nice guy to chat with. Please checkout Edgewater if you’re tired of paying over the odds for average food in Southampton village. Matt, London.

Lack of attention to detail. For example fried ravioli served over fresh mozzarella. Moisture from the cheese softens up the edge of the fried ravioli - removing any crispiness - defeating the point of frying it

2021-08-06The view is nice and the staff is very friendly. Rachel was my waitress and although it was crazy busy she tried her best to be attentive to our needs. The food was great and great portion sizes. The only thing was my steak was spicy, but do not remember if that stated in the menu. Their desserts are amazing especially the chocolate cake. Little pricy, but it is the hamptons.

2022-04-03You havent lived until youve had the LI Roasted Duck pizza! I am celiac and the gluten-free pizza crust was hands-down the best pizza crust Ive ever had...it was so good, I had to double-check with the server that it was actually GF. As a TOTAL bonus, the crust reheated crispy. I will dream about this pizza and hope to have it again one day (I live in MD). Great atmosphere and service too!

2021-03-11The restaurant just re-opened after 2 months of closure. Staff members are very friendly and attentive. Food is served fresh and price is just right. Very cool ambiance.
