Edison ParkFast in other cities:
Very bad experience on a Saturday. I understand that it’s the weekend and they were short staffed, but we ran into problems almost every step of the process - even though we had a SpotHero reservation, we had to wait on the road in the car for 20 minutes in line to be able to get inside. At 11:30 pm we came back to retrieve it, and it took us until around 12:40am to be able to leave since they don’t have a good system. Like we were waiting for them to find our car, and then we took around three steps to check ourselves and it had been right next to us all along!!! In addition to that they gave us the wrong ticket while exiting which caused further delays because we couldn’t drive out of the facility. I would avoid this place.
I travel to NYC often and I always expect to park my vehicle in a parking garage, especially in Manhattan. I have been using the BestParking app by Powerwiz and so far it has been great. I consider myself a detail oriented person and customer service is important to me. Ive parked my car in many parking garages all around NYC and this one by far is on the top of the list. From arriving... they parked my car for me on Level 3, Im not sure about the first two levels. To picking it up late at night... theres a tablet that is meant for people that have prepaid for the parking like I do with the app. The tablet scanned my QR code that you received from app and then scanned my parking ticket. Then somehow it notifies the employees that I am on my way and they pulled the car right up for me!
Today I stood in the same spot and waited for 1 hour 20 minutes before my car was retrieved.I do NOT recommend you to come here if you have important things to attend to after retrieving the car.Poor service and incessant whining for me coming earlier than projected time to pick up the vehicle. Impossible experience.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Seriously, if you want to park near Bryant Park, find literally anywhere else.I usually do not write reviews, but I am writing this to warn other people about how bad this place is.I left my keys the ignition and car door open, but was called back because the car was accidentally locked with the keys inside. They quoted me on a locksmith at $200~$300, and I would have to sign off on whatever method they used to open my car. I had to go back to Brooklyn, get my spare keys, and then I was billed for the entire time my car was in the parking lot including travel time. The assistant manager Anthony Edigale blamed me for not telling the attendants that the car door locked after a short time when the doors are shut. When I came back I tried to talk about lowering my fee to not include the time spent traveling. The this assistant manager lied and said that he was present for everything, saw me lock my car, and told me to GTFO and pay. This is basically fraud, and I have submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
After taking a ticket the gate wouldnt open, and no assistant came to help. My elderly old father got out of the car only to be confronted, and verbally assaulted by one of the Assistant Managers. The manager quieted down when he realized it was the parking lots machine that was malfunctioning. However, the damage was done. This place clearly lacks basic human decency. The VP of Properties was helpful in going over the camera footage, however unwilling to sufficiently punish the brute.
Nice parking garage, staff was friendly and helpful. Be prepared it’s busy but they move fast. All car are taken care of by employees. All SUV’s are considered oversized vehicles here and you have to pay a extra $20. I payed $43 for 12 hours of parking plus an extra $20 for the “oversized vehicle charge”. But every parking garage is expensive in Manhattan, so I would still give it 5 stars
While the location is great - super close to the Belasco Theatre - we would never park here again. After getting an ambiguous parking ticket, there were no clear signs or persons available so we were confused as to where to park. We waited several minutes, then drove up the ramp when a very rude attendant suddenly appeared shouting at us and telling us to get out of our car. We followed the signs and a painted path to take the elevator and it led to a brick wall. Later, when we went to retrieve our car, there were 4-5 frustrated families, all trying to scan their parking passes at two pre-paid kiosks, to no avail. After 15 minutes, a rude attendant appeared and said that he was too busy to help. It was only after he appeared the second time and the crowd complained that he grudgingly fixed the machines.
PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK - IF THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH YOUR TICKET, DONT EXPECT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Unbelievably unprofessional, took me 30 mins to get out of here because I couldnt get anyone to help me with my see attendant ticket. Heres the story - Booked through best parking, through the 43rd entrance. The garage has two entrances and the ticket printed out was for the 44th entrance. Same garage, but the system for some reason had an issue with the pass. These things happen, but the way it was handled was beyond me. This was out of the attendants experience, so a manager shows up after a half hour. Im trying to explain the problem to the manager and hes explaining how to use the kiosk like Ive never seen technology in my life. Just speaking incredibly rude and short to me, which the best parking help desk can attest to.
This is a nice fun place for kids to play on the family to play together, Ill have fun enjoy the song enjoy the water enjoy yourselves enjoy your company enjoy your loved ones meet new friends meet new friends thats very important just children play have fun and be happy thats most important and love to keep my children happy and this bag makes it all come together and have them for us
After reading all the horror stories and terrible reviews, I was expecting the worst kind of experience. However, for the most part the experience was painless and much better than anticipated. We didnt know how long our errand would take and guessed two to three hours. (The attendants need to know how long the car will be parked so they can arrange all the cars in the best order for storage and retrieval.) However, our errand only lasted 45 minutes, which meant we needed the car retrieved a lot sooner than expected. Fortunately, the attendant who parked the car had decided to put the car in the front row, which made retrieval relatively easy. Perhaps it helped that I communicated in a courteous manner with the attendant who parked our car. I also made sure to take pictures of the car as I handed it over, just in case there would be damage visible upon retrieving the car. Paying for service may be done over the phone, which I chose to do. There is also the option of paying at a station at the street-level lobby. Even though we parked a minivan (Honda Odyssey), there was no upcharge for the vehicle being oversized, which something that is mentioned in some of the reviews of the various parking facilities in the area. There was no damage visible to the car and nothing seemed to be missing from the car.The only snag was a bit of a wait for someone to retrieve our car when we returned to pick up the car.

2022-03-20Busted my car pretty good, just got it waxed a couple weeks ago and took it out for the first time and this is what I got last night parking at this garage and having its employees valet. Any follow up or response from an owner would be hugely appreciated.

2021-09-20There is no instructions to follow, short staff, and not organized. You will be waiting for an hour to retrieve your car because literally there is no one there. Also, there is no instructions to follow so you understand the how it works. So, you will be lost for minutes waiting for for someone to show up. It’s a mess. IT’S NOT RECOMMENDED

2022-04-22I am a monthly park client. Some idiot created a new parking system that is creating massive delays. I have spoken to several managers an still it has not been changed back. 40 minutes plus to get your car. 30 minutes to drop it off.Change the system back and fire the person that came up with it. They have no intelligence. Like this system is so poor its a joke in our office that when referring to someone dumb we say, Always theres a Sean Kirby somewhere.

2022-05-22Understaffed constantly its a revolving door for the employees I believe thats the problem. Although they have a crew thats been there for a very long time I honestly dont know how they do it. Ive seen others start working there and either quit or get fired within a short period Of time. Always a sign out front that they are hiring. Parking is a fortune in the city $25 for the first hour if you have an SUV a pickup truck or a minivan an additional $20 youre looking at $45 for one hour of parking.

2022-01-15This was near my hotel, but I didnt book in advance. The car was ready for me, at the time I asked to have it the day before, and the price was exactly what I expected. The attendants were all busy because it was rush hour, and still were efficient and friendly. My only difficulty was that I didnt know where to pick up my vehicle. I finally found the screen that shows the ticket numbers being retrieved, which gives the floor number your car is on. It took less than 20 minutes to pay, get the car, and leave. Great job! I will definitely choose this ParkFast location again.

2019-11-30Great price. No incidents. Friendly staff. I researched parking in the area and was surprised with them. Were from Miami and wanted the Times square experience for my girls. Close to everything. I wont park anywhere where else when in midtown. $43 for 10 hours. Cant beat that.

2021-11-25I arrived 15 minutes the attendant told us that was fine. Then left 3 hours before my time was up and was told that because I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled time, I owed an extra $66. Thats on top of the overall lack of customer service from each attendant.Youre better off parking in the middle of the street, get towed, and then just pay your impound fee at the end of your stay than to book and keep your care here.
