I rarely write reviews for anything but I wanted to share my mom’s experience for anyone thinking of purchasing jewelry from this company. My mom bought a $1,500 emerald ring from them and within less than 2 months a diamond fell out. She sent it to their repairs department, provided them with tracking, and waited for a response. Over two months went by and they never provided any updates other than they received it. My mom and I both called and emailed multiple times and never received any responses. We reached customer service in March and they said not to worry and that the ring would be shipped within a few days. It is now April (we sent the ring in January) and we were finally able to reach someone again. The person on the phone was very rude and did not want to provide my mom with email proof that the ring would be shipped tomorrow. She had a horrible attitude and hung up on my mom, and would not answer when we tried calling back. This type of customer service is not acceptable and should not be tolerated from a “high-end” jewelry company. Save your money and shop somewhere else.
I purchased the Watercolors 14k Yellow Gold Multi Sapphire & Diamond Ring on 11.01.2021 and by 12.13.21 one of the small diamonds had fallen out of the ring and had to be sent back for repair.I received the ring back about a week or 2 ago and during the repair the sapphires appear to have been scratched/damaged.This is extremely disappointing given the price I paid for this ring and I will not be purchasing from them in the future.
I purchased a $1,200 green amethyst/diamond Effy ring from Effy Jewelrys website on February 28 (so over 2 weeks ago). They immediately charged my PayPal Credit account (most retailers will not charge your method of payment until they ship the item). Their website clearly stated will ship within 4-6 days. When I didnt hear or see the ring in over a week I called Effy early last week. They told me that MY ring was out for a photo shoot and they hadnt received it back yet via FedEx and that they would be receiving it last Thursday and shipping it to me overnight so Id have it last Friday. Then on Friday they sent me an e-mail saying the ring was still delayed via FedEx and they would ship it out first thing Monday morning (TODAY) via overnight so Id have it tomorrow. As I did not receive any tracking information today, I called them again and they told me that FedEx still had the ring due to inclement weather across the country (I told them that the Texas storm was over 3 weeks ago). They kept blaming it on FedEx. Now I would not have the ring until either later this week or, well, LATER (or not at all). I cancelled my order. Really truly disappointed with their customer service. The ring was gorgeous but I paid for a ring over 2 weeks ago (and they charged me then) that I did not OWN, and it was not going to be new if they sent it out for a photo shoot (misleading). Now I have to wait up to 10 business days for Paypal to refund my money. Not waiting. Will be calling PayPal TODAY to file a dispute. The whole thing was a bunch of lies and Ive never dealt with a retailer on such a high ticket item that had such poor business practices. Shame on Effy Jewelry!!
I bought 5 pairs of Earrings through Macys Jewelry sale by Effy Jewelry which cost me close to$5000 but the lock of the earrings were loose ending me losing one of the earring pair. I did got in touch with the Effy company to tell them of my lost pair due to poor grip of the earring lock and I was told to send the other pair so they can replace it but I have to pay for the replacement. I absolutely feel disgusted of this reply since the quality of their earring lock was poor and despite of the big amount of my purchase I was told to send the pair of the lost earring and have to pay for the replacement. So from this time on I will no longer buy any Effy Jewelry due to their poor customer service The earring I lost cost a lot and this is not fair to tell me to send the other earring and they will send a replacement which I have to pay.
I am addicted to the EFFY Jewelry brand because of the quality and craftmenship of these pieces. (Plus a great warranty)MY search for fashionable mens pieces that match my personality have brought me to many roadblocks never finding things never suiting my style and flair.Effy is the one brand that has the flash and sparkle that I have been looking for without the pieces being overly gody/feminine.Seriously the best MENS jewelry company in the united states.I hope to see the brand release larger mens collections in the future as people discover this quality brand.(I find most of my pieces at Saks 5th avenue and Saks off 5th avenue)
I ordered a pair of earrings for my wife for our anniversary. Maybe it was last minute, but the item said free 2-day shipping and i had 12 days before the anniversary. I purchased the earrings on their website and received a confirmation email, but no emails with any tracking number or shipping information, which they stated they would provide. I called the customer service multiple times a day (during business hours) for a few days straight and got no answer. I also wrote 2 emails asking where the product was and why I hadnt received it after a week. Not until i wrote an email calling them thieves, etc. and went to my credit card company to cancel the payment did they respond. Finally they contacted me on day 14, but I was in a meeting so they left a voicemail asking me to call them back. i called the number they left me, and again got no response, even though i left a voicemail. Eventually the earrings arrived about 3 weeks after I put the order in, and they contacted my credit card company to make sure i paid the full amount. They never returned my call to offer any discounts for their incompetence or even to apologize. They got their money so they mustve been satisfied. Either it was extreme incompetence or they just dont care about their customers. I will never buy from them again and would highly recommend anyone considering making a purchase from EFFY to reconsider. They lied and because of it I was not able to give my wife the gift she wanted on our anniversary. EFFY is a disgraceful company and if they continue to operate this way, they wont be around for very long.
I have 14 pieces of Effy jewelry and love each and every one. Earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and mostly rings. When one stone fell out I returned to the retail store and they sent it in for repair. It only took 3 weeks and the repair was perfect. The salesman who comes to this store several times a year is very friendly and knows what I like. He is easy to work with and knows not to convince me of something I do not want. I absolutely love all of my Effy pieces and have had nothing but good experiences.I once met Mr. Effy and had a nice short conversation with him. Pleasant and friendly and did not make me feel uncomfortable. I would love to visit the location in New York.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Sent my ring to get resized and repaired and it took over two months. When I finally got someone on the line two months later I was told the holidays between September and November made the process longer than usual and it would be shipped that week. Two weeks later I finally got notice of shipment. No one responded to the voicemails or e-mails. An update here and there would have been nice. I realize that things take time but they should address their customers and their concerns. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Have not even received any sort of apology, just automated e-mails.
I recently purchased 3 pieces of jewelry while on board the Sea Princess. We were lead to believe we were getting a 40% off from the price indicated not only on each piece but also in the Effy magazine in the cabin. Just had these pieces valued back in New Zealand to find them at less than what we paid for them in Australian dollars. Really shocked to find this out. My first and last purchase from Effy.
This great Jeweler has come through for my wife with 6 Stars*******EFFY really stands behind their product quality and workmanship. They were very nice to work with, they made it very easy to get a favorite ring of my wife’s that is 3 years old repaired beautifully and returned in an overnight package, and just like new.Thank you EFFY
The necklace is not sitting in the right position. The quality of the metalwork is very poor. The stones color not even close to the picture.I am not happy. And will not recommend Effy to my friends. An expensive piece should be perfect.Wasted my money that is for sure.

2022-01-03I bought what I thought was a well made sapphire and diamond ring from EFFY back in March 2021. I wore it once and 3 diamonds went missing. Sent it in for repair since it was still under warranty, it took 8 weeks to get it back. I wear it again 1 time and 2 diamonds go missing. It told them that the ring is defective and I want a replacement. They said they would replace the ring and send me a new one. Eight weeks later I finally get my ring back and I wear it on New Years Day and a diamond popped out. This time I decide to take to our local jeweler. He showed me where the diamond was missing there was glue and the prong was broken. SO basically they never replaced my ring, glued a diamond back into the spot and mailed it back to me. If you look at the close up photo you can see where the diamond it missing. I would not recommend anyone by anything from this company. Go to your local store your better off. I am now having my jeweler take the whole ring apart, melt the gold down and have him redesign a whole new ring for me.

2022-07-08Sorry, not very good at taking photos of rings! Bought this ring back in March and have been absolutely thrilled with my purchase. I also bought a Sterling Silver and Black Spinel Bracelet from Effy back in January, no photos provided but again thrilled with that purchase as well. Effy in my opinion is good quality and a good buy.

2022-08-17TL:DR - they fixed my ring from last year and the process was smooth and stress free. Dont know why there are so many bad reviews.My husband and I bought a few EFFY pieces while on our honeymoon cruise in 2021. We were skeptical because there arent any storefronts outside of the Bahamas and on the cruiselines, and the showroom in NYC is appointment only. Anyways a few diamonds fell out of their settings on my ring, then the cross section totally snapped off. I was devastated because its my wedding ring. We called for an appointment. Dropped the rings off , sent over proof of purchase via email and our rings were FedExd to us a few weeks later. I couldnt be happier and Im so looking forward to buying more pieces now that I know the customer service is so good. Thanks EFFY, especially you Rafi!

2022-09-09DONT BUY FROM THEM !!!!I wish I could given them 0 star review. After purchasing ring 💍 they promise FREE of charge resize my ring from size 8 to size 7. After $90 shipping cost( because of insurance) and 12 weeks of waiting I received SAME RING BACK, huge disappointment !!!!

2022-04-12My mother bought me this ring May 2021. It is now April 2022 and I have yet to wear it because every time I put it on I realize there’s a jewel missing and they take 4+ months to repair it via snail mail. We didn’t feel comfortable sending a $2000 piece of jewelry back-and-forth in the mail so we wanted to drive into New York City to drop it off ourselves but they did not allow us to. Complete waste of money.

2020-12-05I bought a gorgeous emerald ring with a a diamond halo. While stunning the emerald stone doesn’t lay flat in the setting and the one set of corner prongs doesn’t hold the stone properly. The prongs in the one corner get caught on all clothing as the prongs do not lay perfectly flat. I sent the ring to be repaired and it was returned to me “repaired” but nothing was fixed. A few days after it was returned the one print snapped and broke because it wasn’t properly holding the stone. I’m worried the stone may fall out.I will have to take this another jeweler to fix as clearly Effy didn’t. Very disappointed in the lack of repair done. Please see the below photos. The first (I have pink nails) is before I sent it to Effy to be repaired. The second and third photos (I have purple nails) are after and show nothing has changed and the one small prong is now broken.
