If there is less than 1 star i will choose it , i`m egyptaian but i don`t recommened it for anyonethey life in old ages .they don`t understand any thing. they have the worst custmer service ever try to call be yourself from any wher and you will see i booked a round trip for my familly they travelled from newyourk smoothly but on the retarined tripe they didn`t send any ticket we get confused and on boarding they charge us for more more luggies as we didn`t know who many luggies we should take with us we had 4 luggies with only 1 carry on !!!
Worst customer service ever! I called more then five times am always on hold with no one answering, I don’t understand do these people work!!!!!! Am so frustrated! Save yourself the hustle fly somewhere else. This is by far the worst ever and they don’t try to fix anything.
I wish they had another direct airline to egypt because this is the WORST I have ever seen in history and I fly all the time. THEY DONT GIVE YOU ACCURATE INFORMATION ON FLIGHTS AND RESTRICTIONS I got stuck in the airport because of the information i was given and on their website and phone announcement that children under 6 are Exempt from a PCR which is not true they wouldnt let my 3 year old with out a test and they just wanted more money and its their way i guess of making more money. Ridiculous. Everything about this company is wrong.
Tried to called them today at 9:20 AM I got a message saying the place is now closed. I kept trying and trying no one answered. Now I have been on hold for over an hour and 15 minutes. Typical lazy unprofessional staff. They probably got hired because they know someone not because they qualify for the job. No wonder the company has been losing billions.
I flew to NYC on Jan 4 2020. And when I was waiting to take my suitcases i found that all my suitcases were damaged “broken” and my stuff were all over the floor. And their response was like go buy new suitcases and we will compensate you for the damages. Until today I never git a response from their office in New york or their customers care team. It was my experience to fly using EgyptAir. And apparently it will be my last.
I’ve been trying to contact this office for nearly 8 MONTHS because they have 3k worth of reservations that need to be refunded to me . Their phone wasn’t working at all for months . Had to contact Egypt air in Egypt and they couldn’t handle the case since it was booked in the US. Every email I get responds “it’ll take 45 days to process the refund . I’m not sure what else to do other than file a suit with them and see if they’ll respond . I’ve wasted SO MUCH time with this already. Please do not use them.
I made it to the airport 1 hour before my flight departs because of the bizzare traffic that occurred due to an accident on the road. Egyptair was of no help at all they said the flight is closed and wouldnt let me go through the scanners. They were all busy sitting at the desk at customer service fooling around and not one person told me what to do. At the end I had to go to another location where I was forced into paying more money to change my flight to the next day. Supposedly your supposed to be in the airport 3 hours before departure time which is new to me, not once have I heard this in America. Overall this experience for me was horrible hopefully they step up their customer service the next time I book their flights , or I will just save myself the trouble and book another airline.
Egyptair customer service are the worst. When you spend 45 minutes waiting on the phone without any response until the line stop shows a failure within the customer service department. I literally called twice everyday for 3 days waiting for 30-45 min average with no response!! I never had to wait on the line that much with any other airline except for Egyptair.
Worest customer service i had do deal with. I waited 45 mins on hold for someone to answer then they pick up the line and hung up. I called multiple times and no one picks up during normal operating hours. All i want is to change my reservation. Now i want is to cancel and book with another provider...
Worst airline I ever took in my life. In cairo Egypt they claimed the plane had already left when it doesnt leave for another 40mins. They wouldnt let us board because they also claimed you have to be there 3 hours earlier, when I was an hour early. Honestly never flying with Egyptair. Fyi I also got lice when I was on the airplane, always a great way to start your vacation :/
I will NEVER book with Egyptair again. Requested a refund back in May, waited the 3 months they advised it would take, now no one is answering emails, busy phone lines, hanging up on you while you are on hold, or telling you they dont handle reservations after youve been on hold for over an hour.Definitely trying to scam you out of your money.
The most uneducated, rude, unprofessional and the worst customer services.False advertisement has been reported to consumers affair and BBB.Representatives in the NYC office barely speak english and will just end the call if they do not understand you!Terrible experience and a waste of time and money.
There got to be a zero-star option, because that’s what they deserve.What customer service? How can you rate something that doesn’t exist? I have dealt with other cheap airline carriers, with poor service, but they are still much better than Egyptair, which is by far the worst ever
There’s no available international 24/7 number to request help in case of any emergency/ I have been trying to change my ticket that was booked through an agency and we are both waiting for office to open because there’s no one to reach via international numbers !!!!!!! Please advice

I kept calling them at NY office . But no one answered .. I have sent an email and also no one answeredFinally I have lost my ticket ..
3 hours later an i am left furious - nothing works - not the online booking system - no one answers - prehistoric - no words to explain what a sub human experience it is - 3 hours later and i still have not been able to book - please just SHUT DOWN!!!! i would give it ZEROOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Was on hold for about an hour and a half only to have the rudest person tell me they won’t help me and hang up before I could even ask a question. I would rather crawl to Egypt on all fours through 3000 miles of broken glass and 2000 miles of acid than even bother calling EgyptAir again let alone fly with them. Just proof that EgyptAir sucks in Egypt and outside of it. Thank you for ruining my day and my trip!
Couldn’t purchase bags online because of a system error. I called the customer service number that they have on their website and they directed me to the EgyptAir office in NY. The customer service representative was very rude and curt. She told me that I had to either purchase the bags online or at the airport at a more expensive price. Nothing. The airport associates were very rude as well and they gave the “you can talk to the manager when he comes” waited for 15 minutes and the manager obviously didn’t show up. I would rather do 2 layovers than deal with a company like this ever again.
Terrible experience. Flew business class and the only thing different was a little more leg room. Food was awful, service even worse. No one came around the entire 11 hour flight offering drinks or anything. Was on multiple flights and on the one flight there were only 2 of us on business class. The rest were egyptair personnel. Another flight crew. They were given first choice with food and when I asked for a blanket there were none left. All had been given to the other crew. I will never fly this airline again. If you have a choice pay more for another airline. Wish I could give no stars
I had my first flight on egyptair this month. This was my worst travel experience ever. It all sucked.. before taking off they had informed us about the wrong gate. While in the plane the staff is rude, unprofessional and unclean. Upon landing had my worst airport experience ever. I would give them no stars. Never again on egyptair, never again to egypt
I’m trying to book tickets for a future trip with my family and I have few questions for the airline. Few of my family members and some of my friends fly EGYPTAIR, but they book their tickets online to avoid what they warned me about “customer service “, and that’s what you get from a state owned airline, most of the staff if not all in the NY office are security agents and they lack any customer service or airline experience. I suggest for anyone to seek out other airlines going to the Middle East like Turkish Airlines or royal Jordanian which are much cheaper than emirates and Qatar Airways.Egyptair sucks, and unfortunately they don’t even deserve a one star.

2022-02-03Waiting for a refund for a flight change - that was over two months ago. I have yet to hear from Egypt Air, have a refund, or even the ability to contact someone at customer service bc they never answer phones. What a worse of company

2021-12-14If I can give them zero star I would, very very bad customer service socially this branch ( first time in my live I wait on the phone for 2and half hour for some one to answer me then in the end they hang up the phone with out even say hallo, then the next time when staying for two days trying to call them and other branches like Egypt branch ( we had try many number no one answered, they used to have a place in there page that you can change you flight with out having to go through there customer service but its not there any more) when some one finally answers she was like ohhhh my god, oh my god and she was asking why we didnt call the country that we are in and we were like lady we tried believe me no one answer then we had tried to give her another email because she was sending Athorazation form for us to fill it so finally when she hang up the email she send we had received but when we send it to here she didnt reply to us so we had to call again and again, really I wished they have better customer service and even the flight need to be renewed, we will never book with they again
