Sadly no photos because i literally ate everything too fast...it was that good. have now tried their cubano, mofongo, and arroz y habichuelas.its all completely on point and impossible to stop eating until its all gone. cant imagine going elsewhere for solid latin american food in east village, nyc.
I love this cute lil spot on E. 10th street seriously the best puerto rican/Dominican restaurant in the neighborhood its just a 2-3 min walk from my place i love ordering different menu items everytime i go the cuban sandwich is my fav the rice and beans is great and the alcapurria is on point mofongo u name it its gonna be delish. Def stop by u wont regret it its small but very busy sometimes because the food is so damn good ❤😀
I have ate here a couple of times. The food is pretty good at a reasonable price. They mainly serve Spanish food but they do have some American dishes as well.
I order from this restaurant for lunch very often. The pernil, roast pork is delicious. They also include a stick slice of fat thats been cooked thoroughly and crispy on the outside. The eating space inside is small. They often have on funny Spanish television shows. The food is cheap and tastes great.
Great homemade Spanish food reasonably priced, no dining in but worth the food, you can call and order ahead of time, its what I usually do, you wont be disappointed a small hole in the wall,
Rotisserie chicken on point. Staff here seems pretty nice. Don’t have any complaints. They do get busy at and it hard to get your food. I eat here almost every day.
Do not advertise gluten free if your employees dont have the common sense to not cross-contaminate everything right in front of the customers. Unfortunately because I was not the witness, I mistakenly took a taste before my friend had the chance to notify me and was sick for two days. Would give it zero stars if I could.
The food is delicious, and always fresh . The staff is very accommodating and willing to go above and beyond to assure the customer is satisfied.

I have been going here for yrs.. Today i had steak with tostones and garlic with a salad. Tawk abt DELICIOUS! Also, the women who work there are amazing and it always feels like youre at your favorite Aunties place for some top of the line grub. Show them love!!
Food is good but even for take out they hand you the credit card swiper with a tip already entered into your total. What if we dont want to tip for take out? Do we have to go through the embarrassment of asking for it to be removed?

The menu isnt the most expansive, nor is the seating very accommodating. But what i did eat was good, although its hard to mess up called chicken with rice and beans.
One of the best Lil digs I ever ate from. Best Dominican and Puerto Rican cuisine ever. Dont let the small space ruin a chance to taste some delicious foods. My dish is Pollo a la parrilla with avocado salad.

Ive been coming here since my childhood; its the neighborhood I grew up in. It was originally a Puerto Rican restaurant and now its Dominican food. No matter, the food has ALWAYS been tasty!!!!
This place is great if They pick up their phone. Or whenever the able to get a delivery guy to deliver. You have a better chance of catching an STD in a where house than getting food from this place.
Yummy PR food at very reasonable prices. Sometimes several minutes wait during lunch hours for take out. Very small place with friendly staff.

I really should say this place is terrible, to keep it my secret, but I cant do that. This place is simply out of this world. Its not very big so you sometimes have to walk sideways when trying to place an order, I usually get take out just because it gets very busy.
Food is good but for some reason the beans always taste overcooked. I wish it wasnt as small I would come there more often if the place was a little bigger.

I been there many times before and its been great but this time I must say that it was horrible I had to tell the waitress if she could clean our table then I ordered pepper steak and I told waitress to please tell cook to make sure the steak was soft enough to eat and it was so hard and chewy that I ended taking it home to be recook I wont be going there again.
Just ordered a whole rotisserie chicken and got 3/4th of the chicken. If you want to pay full price and not care if you get your full order go right away and order from them.
The restaurant food here looks pretty good but they close the restaurant too early at night they need one more hour or two to close on weekdays and the place looks old fashion and ugly like it needs remodeling

The worst as a restaurant does not serve for a mangu of 10 they give it to you empty and I ask for potatoes and I last more than 17 minutes and it tells me. What the potatoes didnt do and what they wont do after 17 minutes

2019-11-09Small and cozy. Food is awesome. It gets crowded. You are better off doing take out or delivery. However, the food is authentic. Well seasoned and prepared. Had the goat stew. Was cooked the right way, not rushed. Rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. If you are in the hood, try it. It is worth it.

2020-10-06I placed an order for my entire family with seamless and after one hour of waiting Rinconcito cancel my order on seamless.I called them and they said they ran out of rotisserie chicken. They were irresponsible by no letting me know earlier. Dissatisfied with their take out service with seamless. Had to oder my food somewhere else!!

2019-07-05The food is good. The price is alright. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because one of the servers(older blonde hair lady) is just rude. And like la talking about people in Spanish. Not having any clue that I speak Spanish & understood every damn single word she was saying about me. And also it is small, so to say that I can go sit there with my kids will be wrong.

2016-07-06Good food and no frills service. If you want a taste of good Hispanic food for a good price, this is the place to go. Great rotisserie chicken, saffron rice and beans, garlic yucca with pickled onions. Mouthwatering food. A good reminder of the good that still remains in the rapidly gentrifying East Village.
