Very nice and cozy; they cook right in front of you and food is splendid. Not overpriced! Burrito and quesadillas are on point.Recommend the guacamole!!

This place is a disgrace to Mexican cuisine. Their food taste as if it was re-heated in a microwave. our serve barely interacted with us. never asked if we needed anything or greeted us the proper way. it took close to 2 hours for our food to come out and the restaurant was empty. they added a random amount of tip without notifying us. when we left the resturant no one thanked us for coming or acknowledged anything. we had to wave out serve down about 5 times to get the check and remember it was empty. I don’t recommend this place at all. their customer service over the food was disgusting as well. they should really learn how to speak to customers. don’t go here is not worth the money!!
Exceptionally clean. The food tasted amazing. The presentation was superb and the staff was great. Prices were extemely reaonable. In town overnight. Sad we wont likely be back in town anytime soon.
The absolute best AUTHENTIC Mexican food me and my family has ever eaten. For the place being relatively new and opened a month ago. The food was amazing. The staff was also very nice. I would 100% be revisiting if Im ever in the area.
We ordered take out and got the nachos, enchiladas and quesadillas. The food was ready by the time I got there and everything was absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients and everything was still hot when we got home. Wonderful place. The inside looked very nice. Will definitely be taking the wife here ASAP. Highly recommended!
Amazing flavor! I absolutely love the shrimp taco salad and you have to start with the chorizo empanadas they are out of this world! And don’t leave without getting tres leches. Thank me later this place is the best!
Hidden gem. Some may not want to travel into this part of Huntington Station but dont be fooled or be a fool. Im a Mexican food junkie and very critical and this was well worth it!

Absolutely delicious. the ceviche was out of this world. they even manage to make a simple quesadilla a mouth-watering dish. it has a clean, well-kept environment, with great service

Amazing! Delicious food made with fresh ingredients. You can always tell when food is made with love and excellent quality ingredients. I ordered the Street Tacos and they were as good as a five star restaurant for a fraction of the price. My son had the empanadas and said they were the best he has ever had. Fresh salsa and chips. Get yourself over to this new restaurant and show them some love!

This place is great! My dad and I tried it out. My dad is super picky so I was hesitant but he thoroughly enjoyed his chicken burrito! And I loved my shrimp taco salad. The food is so fresh and good. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back.
Spent 26 bucks on a burrito and nachos with steak. There was really nothing that stood out in either meal. They used mozzarella cheese on both and it just seemed off. Very heavy and filling but it left me feeling gross after. Staff was very nice and helpful though. Might be better once they turn into a restaurant but I cant imagine them doing well with their prices already so high.
The food was amazing and the house apple tequila was delicious. The staff and the owner were very attentive and really nice. Plan on going back often.
I had two tacos and they were freshly made, hot and delicious. Ive been wanting to visit El Sueño for a few weeks and I finally got to go. They have excellent staff, and the food is great! Its good to bring authentic mexican food to the town of Huntington.

Delicious!! Everything we had was fresh, and well enjoyed by us all! Will be back! The steak fajita was juicy and cooked to perfection, along with amazing guacamole. Def check this place out its worth it!
Discovered this place recently and was very happy with their food and drinks. The guac is excellent, the burrito was enormous and the margaritas were well made and strong . Definitely will be a go too for me from now on.
Update: I wish I could give six stars! The best food, go here you wont be disappointed. And try the Churros for dessert it comes with a chocolate dipping sauce 😋😁Just ordered for the first time, the Chicken Quesadilla is amazing ! We also got the empanadas, they are a little runny not my favorite but will be back many times for the Quesadilla and cant wait to try more. Very fast ordered picked up 10 minutes and food was ready and hot and reasonably priced for the area . Definitely recommend
Simply the best Mexican food I’ve had on the East coast! Out West it’s everywhere but in the East I’ve been repeatedly disappointed with inauthentic slop. That is, until I found El Sueno!!! Feels like my Abuela made it.
Absolutely horrible service!!!I was happy to support a latin food place near me but now ill spend my dollars at Punta Cana in huntington village. Food is great there and the people are far more friendlier.As for El Sueno (The Dream) more like La Pesadilla (The Nightmare) I placed an order for pickup and the woman answering the phone Janet or Jennette took the wrong order. I mentioned that I wanted the short rib taco special that comes with 3 tacos for $9.95 along with other meals spending $40 (Ive order numerous times prior). I had her repeat the order to ensure it was accurate which it was and stated the specials and amounts. When I recieved my order I noticed that my order was not complete at all and missing 2 of the 3 tacos for the short rib. When I called to question my order this woman rudely tells me that she only put down 1 taco $3.50 and if i wanted the other 2 it would be $8.00 more. Which does not match the menu at all. I proceed to tell her that its not my fault she made the error in taking my order and that I would like my full order of the 3 tacos for $9.95. Basically saying I have one taco and Id like the remaining 2 and will be willing to pay the balance which is $6.45. She continues telling me that i need to pay individually for each taco dinner its no longer a special order. Of course the manager is not there except this woman who makes it seem that im inconveniencing her with my incorrect order. The food is good but the customer service lacks work. Whats the point in ordering a meal if you cant eat what you ordered. Supposedly the menu has been updated but no menu is placed in the bags to alert customers of changes. Mind you I order last week and didnt have any issue. Management should get rid of this woman and do a better job on their customer service skills. I will not be giving this place my money at all and I suggest others be wary as well. I even went there to show the menu and this woman says I can call tomorrow (Tuesday july 8th) to talk to the manager.
Tasty, authentic, great Mexican food! El Sueno has become our new go - to for takeout. The servings are huge and price is very reasonable.
The food is excellent. Definitely gonna be going back. I LOVE the tortas. The lemonade was great too. The staff was very nice and friendly, and its really clean.
Ordered numerous times off of Uber eats. Pricey food, but this is authentic Mexican food. Every time I have their food my tastebuds explode! I can’t wait until this place becomes a sit down with drinks and cocktails! I’m not one to write reviews either but I felt compelled because they seem to get it right with authentic Mexican food in the Huntington area. Not to knock besito but if you are interested in a night out in Huntington stop here along the way before you head into the village. You’ll thank me later.
This place has delicious food, its authentic and fresh but I love a good churro after a mexican meal so Im highly disappointed..their churros were so yummy the first 3 times I ate here, Ive ordered about 6 or 7 times since and Im not sure a churro can get any worse of you can even call it that?? Its not shaped like one anymore, it is barely coated in cinnamon sugar, and they are usually fried too hard to really enjoy!! Cmon guys with food so good how can your churros be so butchered??
We probably get take out here 1x a week . The food is really good . I love the empanadas and the Shrimp tostadas. We’ve also eaten in the restaurant in the past and it’s very cute decor .UPDATE :AFTER ORDERING ON GRUBHUB WE RAN INTO SOME ISSUES WITH DELIVERY . THE PERSON WHO IS TAKING CALLS AT EL SUEÑO WAS VERY RUDE AND DISMISSIVE TOWARD MY PARTNER WHO PLACED THE ORDER-- WE ENDED UP CANCELING OUR ORDER. FOOD IS GOOD BUT SERVICE IS SUBPAR

Perfect tacos, made by people who know what they are supposed to taste like, a blessing to this Texan-in-exile. One review said the cheese was mozzarella which is ridiculous. The food here is the real thang, right down to the squirt of crema on your steak. This is not some weird pasta hybrid accompanied by a sickly, watery margarita. And the tres leches cake is to die for. I will be back many times.

Ordered thru grubhub and the food took a long time and they left the guacamole out of my order. When I called back the person who answered the phone the 1st time put me on hold and then hung up, when I called the 2nd time the guy was rude and hung up the phone again, called the 3rd time and no answer. This will.be the last time I order fr this place again.

Today I bought a barbecue cake and they scammed me because before it was bigger and it was worth about $ 10, now it is worth $ 15 and it is smaller than it was before, I do not go back to that place they never lost two customers. Scammers
Visit this place for the first time a few days ago. I didnt know whether to go or not because he always looks alone. I went and the truth is the food is very good. But what disappointment I take with the sauces they have is a sauce garbage, the sauces here are like giving you water with color and spicy. I suggest to the owner that please pay attention to the sauces that are served here in this restaurant because it is a shame that they do not have good sauces because then this grill will go down

2022-01-25We went to Huntington station because we had an appointment over there, we were really hungry and we just stopped by. It was really good, we ordered a lot because we wanted to try everything. Food was delicious, server was really sweet and drinks were good! I love the decoration and atmosphere ❤️

Hands down the food is always excellent dine in or take out, but it is always nice to come in and enjoy the beautiful decorations and atmosphere. Staff was great, food is excellent, drinks are really good. Definitely recommended

2021-08-29I came for the tacos stayed for the wine! As a wine lover I was very surprised to find a great selection of mexican wines. The guacamole was excellent, made to order. Had the vegan cauliflower tacos and they were delicious. I will come back

2022-03-14Fantastic restaurant! First time here. They were very accommodating for our party (which was mostly little kids). Very spacious, clean with excellent atmosphere. The service was phenomenal, and most importantly, the food was delicious! The tortilla soup especially was the best Ive ever had! I will definitely be returning, highly recommended!

2022-02-23My girlfriend is from California. We have been searching for a local spot that compares to the quality of Mexican food she enjoyed all of her life on the west coast. We found it! She got the wet burrito aka enchilada burrito. She loved it! Her favorite. I got three tacos, all of which were absolutely delicious! This is also a small detail but important to me... the salsas that the food comes with are really good. The green is hot but not too hot and the red is refreshing and full of flavor as well. We were thrilled to be able to get delivery. Highly recommend.

2022-08-06I ordered take out to pick up , sorry to say the food was not good no flavor. I ordered on Saturday early afternoon maybe that chef sucks I’m not sure but it’s bad. Nothing tasted fresh not authentic Mexican food or flavor. How do they get a taco wrong ?

2022-07-05El sueño es bueno! My mother and I went on a empanada search around Huntington. We tried three other places for empanadas. We ordered the trio takeout empanadas.. two beef and one chicken. We gave this place five stars. The empanadas were crisp and light. They were filled well and tasted great! The dipping sauce that came with it was mild. The chips and dipping sauces were spicy. We couldnt stop eating them. The outside of the restaurant and parking lots are neat and landscaped. Very attractive compared to other places. The workers are friendly and take great pride in their work. This is one place were going to visit often. The takeout menu is wonderful. It doesnt matter what culture youre from, this place is just wonderful!

Not sure if the guy I saw with the ponytail is the owner or Mgr but he was doing what an owner or Mgr should. He was walking to and talking with every table and helping out the staff. Great start.The menus came and the price was just right. Ordered empanadas to start. They were big and really good.For dinner Street tacos. One chicken one chorizo and one steak. They were awesome. Came with a healthy serving of rice and beans. Also on the table was an order of enchiladas. Which looked great too.Placed on the table was chips and salsa. The chips had great burnt corn taste. The salsa tasted homemade as did everything.I definitely found this new Mexican restaurant to be much better than almost anyone I have been to with comparable pricing. Definitely definitely definitely going back.
