Great customer service! Delicious food! Good drinks strong cheap drinks everyone must come here if you love delicious cheap liquor and yummy food! Great for a date for you and your lover! I had a great time and I think you will too.... this is a pic of my food I love it and I am so grateful for these people working to give our community the things we deserve!!!!! COME HERE!
I super duper enjoyed my time with my ladies here. We ordered a lot and enjoyed every bite with our pitchers of margaritas. Our waiter was great. I absolutely recommend and will come back again.Just 1 issue- the train running by interrupts your conversation but you can dine-in inside to lessen the noise. We still had super fun.
I came here a few times with a friend and we loved the food everytime. Last time was during The summer so we sat outside and the waitress was sweet and attentive, this time I ordered a salmon and tasted so good! The margaritas were like $5 and were well packed, would deff recommend
Went here a few years ago when they had just opened, and was not impressed. Decided to give it another chance two weeks ago, and I’m so glad I did. Service was great, food was great, they’re happy hour cocktails are a great price and delicious. We’ve now been here 3 times in the last 10 days! Everything that we ate was good, but the Blue Agave quesadilla is excellent. If you’re in the area, this place is worth a visit. Great outdoor seating, and staff that is kind and actually wears the mask.
We ordered for cinco de Mayo using Door Dash coupon and we are glad we chose this place. Amazing takeout. We ordered the Bensonhurst Burrito which came with fries. Both were on point. We also ordered their fish tacos. Light and flavorful- not too heavy for lunch. Overall we enjoyed the meal fully. We haven’t had Mexican food in months so it may have played a factor. We will order from this place even without a coupon.
There are thief’s , they will get you so drunk and write whatever gratitude tip that they desire on your receipt . BECAREFUL !!! DONT get too drunk and watch your receipt. By the way the food is not even all that . Steak maya is $20 is for the amount that was soo small .
One and done type of place food was bland . Guacamole had way too much garlic and onions my rica and beans tasted like it was re heated the next day the rice was crunchy . Enchiladas were okay not much flavor . Margaritas tasted like juice so asked for them to be a lil stronger and got charged a extra shot for each one.. this place could be great if they changed a few things but I enjoy tacos more from a food truck 🤷
This place is such a hidden gem in the neighborhood! The staff is very warm and friendly, the chefs are obviously very talented and the food is delicious. If you come here, get the margaritas, al pastor street tacos and if you have room, the churros! Lastly, I appreciate they are taking the pandemic seriously. Our server sprayed our hands with hand sanitizer and wore a mask as she served and took our order. Great find. Don’t sleep on this place!
Great experience, the Cobb salad in lunch menu was fantastic and a great price, $15 minimum for credit card use. The front of house was so friendly and courteous, when I asked them to fill my water bottle he used ice and a strainer and the cocktail shaker to cool it down. No charge. Great ambiance definitely looking forward to coming again!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
No doubt the food was delicious but the service left much to be desired. The waiter completely forgot my drink when he brought them out for the rest of my party, & another server had to ask if I wanted anything. They didnt serve many of the items listed on the menu, and the waiter was unfamiliar with the specials. My friends drink was not made correctly, & she had to ask for more tequila. The sauce for my order arrived when I was more than halfway done with my meal, & we had to repeatedly ask for water. Despite an extremely good meal, the service is not an experience I care to repeat.
Thought the food would be good because the placed looked decent. This was the worst Spanish restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food tasted like it was out all day and they just threw it in the microwave or something.... I couldn’t even finish my chicken quesadilla because it wasn’t fresh. Don’t eat here unless you have no choice, workers clearly don’t care about how the food tastes..... and overall the food is overpriced for the the quality
Went after work for happy hour (4p-8p). Guacamole was made fresh which was a plus and chips were served warm however the happy hour margaritas were terrible. So much ice and tasted like juice. The place was also not very inviting. They had a sports game on -no music. Maybe best for takeout.
Just happened to find this place while in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is quiet and really special. The food was excellent and there is a great menu to choose from. Service was wonderful and very friendly. I would highly recommend anyone who loves Mexican food that is authentic and freshly made. Will go back again...
Had three small tacos - al pastor, shrimp and chicken - and a pineapple margarita. The shrimp and chicken tacos were good, but not a wow. The pastor though was delicious, well seasoned, just the right amount of spice. And the pineapple margarita was equally awesome - tasted really fresh and the server recommended a spicy salt rim, which was a nice complement. Prices are reasonable and the service was attentive. Will definitely be back. They have a small outdoor seating area, which I enjoyed, as it was a warm night. Note: the restaurant is very close to the 71st St D train, so if youre outside, your dinner convo will occasionally be interrupted by trains. I didnt find this too off-putting, but some might prefer to eat indoors because of it.
Good drinks...nachos were good(chicken) and the burrito was full of flavor. The torta was ok..kids had chicken tenders n fries(a heaping serving). Down side...no chips n salsa at the table...I thought that was pretty much a given at any Mexican restaurant. Staff was friendly and its a cozy little spot. Parking is not so great if youre not from the neighborhood as its all street parking.
Service was ok , food was ok not great, we ordered pork & beef burritos, the pork was dry little cubes with dry rice in a wrap and the beef was done the same way ,also no salsa or hot sauce to be found or ever put on the table. Nachos were very good ! Watermelon margaritas were amazing.
If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. The tortilla chips were very stale and oily, the burrito had burned, hard, and disgusting meat. There were no beans, lettuce or cheese in the burrito. The only thing that tasted good was the canned coke. Very bad experience. Would not recommend. 🤢🤢🤮🤮
Margaritas are either way too sour or way too sweat(believe me when i say this because ive drank plenty of margaritas). I was not impressed with the quality of food either. What was most disappointing was the quantity of gaucomole they provided... way too little for $7. Service was just okay... You had to ask for water.
This was my second time coming here the food was disgusting the steak had more fat then meat and simple completely trash .... I asked for the chips with salsa I got ignored from the lady there but once the white folks walked in omg they did everything for them the discrimination was so serious.... they so called Mexican restaurant didn’t even had spicy salsa ... they had watery salsa !!! And they had the nerve to charge me $150 smh never will I come to this fake Mexican restaurant in my life and neither is my family members that’s for sure !!!!!
We ordered the chulpas for an appetizer and it was disgusting. It was reheated cubed beef with green and red sauce squirted on a taco. It came with a small handful of diced lettuce and a radish sliver??? The sauce was over powering and the meat was no good. We asked them to take it back. We ordered the nachos with chicken and it was alot better. Not sure if I will revisit this location.
We came here to enjoy the guacamole and have a good meal. From the moment we arrived I felt a little uncomfortable with the waitress when she seemed bothered by the fact that my husband didnt sit where she wanted us to sit but I hoped that the feeling would change. My husband then went to the bathroom to wash his hands and when he sat down he took his utensils out of the napkin to dry his hands because there where no towels in the bathroom. The food was coming soon so my husband took the utensils from the table next to us which mind you were the only people in the restaurant,so he could use the napkin from that one to clean his face while hes eating his food. The waitress is now coming with the food and sees that my husband has 2 forks and 2 knives and asked us if we took the utensils from another table and I said yes and explained why and her response was that next time ask her for the napkin( scolding us like we are children )and it sounded worse in spanish. My husband was so shocked that he didnt say anything to me but then he asked me why I didnt say anything. I was just trying to have a peaceful time. I saw my husbands wheel in his head turning and usually he tries not to make a big deal out of things but I can see that what she did really bothered him and he was almost done with his bottled water so he snapped his fingers at her and told her to bring him another water bottle to see how she liked being treated badly and you can tell that it really bothered her. It was cold outside and she saw that my husband had his coat on because it was a little cold inside as well and she opened the door for a little while on purpose. We were finally done with our food and paid the check and now its tip time. I took the tip and walked to the back towards the kitchen and called the cook out. I handed him the waitresses tip and he was so happy. I told him to tell the owner that the food was good but he needs to hire another waitress. We are now walking out of the restaurant and I told her that she needs to learn how to address customers. Well maybe she learned something or maybe shes so ignorant that she feels she didnt do anything wrong ( VERONICA ).A napkin isnt serious enough to warrant you to make a customer feel uncomfortable.
The day 5-11-19 I was here with my familyA friend recommended me to go and decided to go with my family I was very disappointed I had to wait 1: 25min to get my foodBut that was not the worst the rice was hard salted meat chile poblano bitter salty beans the only good thing were 3 shrimp and a half chorizo that came in my molcajete my margarita did not bring frosty no taste was tested

2022-04-30This restaurant has to be my favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. The food is just amazing but what really drives me crazy is their Tamarind Margaritas, I swear these are the best margaritas you will ever have in your entire life! Please order a tamarind margarita, you will literally go to this place just for this cocktail.

2018-12-18Weve been here twice. The first time was 5 Stars. Great food, good service, nice place. The second time around for some reason the food did not taste anywhere near as good. It wasnt bad but it wasnt as good as the first time. The service was mediocre as well. Not sure what happened within that time frame, it was about a month or two, but it wasnt as good as the first time. Still better than most Spanish places around here but just not top-notch anymore.

2017-08-14Nice little place with outdoor seating. Could use and AC upgrade, was hotter inside, we we chose to sit outside. The service was a bit slow, can be improved. Food was great.

2022-04-03Do not order delivery. I placed a delivery order at 8:28 I called 3 times to find out where my food is and they continued to tell me it’s on the way. My good never arrived and they called 2 hrs later to say they gave it to someone else. I would give this place no stars but unfortunately that is not a option
