Shaun was great to work with. We needed an inspection done pretty quick and he made it happen. Knowledgeable and very helpful when I had questions or uncertainties about things, whether it was a quick question the day of the inspection, or a following up with a more complex scenario dealing with a fire code issue a couple days later. Would definitely recommend.

2020-08-28Shawn was brilliant right from our first interaction. He made me comfortable about not being physically present at the time of inspection (I live 4 hrs away) and also guided me on the various tests to be performed. He was very patient in dealing with various scheduling issues and professional throughout.After the inspection Shawn spent over 30 mins walking me through his findings, the red flags as well as maintenance items to keep a track of. Highly recommend Shawn and look forward to availing his services on a recurring basis

2021-06-01I enlisted Elite Home Inspections to do an inspection on a house I made a purchase offer on. The inspector Shawn Moody was professional and arrived on time to start the inspection. He was kind and open to answer any questions I had throughout the inspection. The house inspection was thorough and I would not hesitate to call him again for an inspection if needed. I also liked that he provided an excellent and detailed report the same day. I was impressed! I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs a home inspection.

2020-11-27I have nothing but great things to say about Shawn and Elite Home Inspections. I called last minute to get a home inspection done and Shawn was able to get into the home this past Wednesday before Thanksgiving. He provided me with a thorough and honest report. I am a first time home buyer and he talked/walked me through everything and advised me on what to do. For example, I needed to get a plumber in the house to give me an estimate regarding some serious issues found and he gave me a number to call and the plumber was there within the hour. I was very impressed. I felt confident in his work, knowledge, and advice he provided. Thank you, Shawn!

2020-11-05Shawn was great for both of my home inspections I have used him for. I don’t live in the area but was comfortable with him doing the inspection and going over the report with me on the phone. He was very thorough and went over all my concerns and even has some of the best recommendations for things that need to be fixed. I would definitely recommend him and will be using him for future inspections!

2020-07-30As a first-time homebuyer, there was a lot about the process I wasn’t familiar with. When it came time to order an inspection on our potential new house, I was referred to Elite Home Inspections and was not disappointed. Shawn very clearly explained how the process worked and what to expect. From the inspection itself, the walk-through/discussion, and final report, it was evident that he is very knowledgeable about the subject matter and thorough in his inspection/analysis. 2018-07-11Shawn did our inspection a couple weeks ago. Very excellent work. Great guy to work with, really tells you how it is. Went through everything with great detail that showed in the report. He was very helpful giving out sound advise from a knowledgeable background. Everything went very smooth as he was prompt with the exchange of all information. Will definitely call him on next house. 2018-08-09Our home inspection was thorough. The report that was generated was the most professional report I have seen and this is my 5th Home purchase. Shawn did an excellent job explaining his findings. We are moving from out of state and he took the time to answer questions we had about the area. Shawn is a very personable individual and his experience as a contractor was highlighted well.

2018-06-28Shawn was great. Laid back guy, really tells you what is necessary when it comes to the home inspection. Very thorough and a great price for a big home. Full inspection report was detailed and emailed right to me that night. Took the time to go through the entire house with me at the end to give me a summary and a few of his own thoughts. Great guy to work, will be keeping his card in my back pocket for sure!
