We LOVE ELSIE!! Drinks were 10/10, apps were 10/10, ambiance was 20/10 (they have beautiful earthy greenery and a gorgeous flower wall), service was 10/10, just everything!! We came here for a fancy date night and nyc engagement pictures for our engagement, and what a perfect night and amazing choice it was! Elsie is great to pair with broadway too because it’s right next to the theaters. Our favorite drink was The Sunset (gorgeous purple looking one). We will absolutely come back. Thank you so much Elsie!!!Insta: @andiamoadventure
I had made a reservation for my boyfriend and I for a certain time, but came about an hour early since we were in the area. The waitress said no problem and sat us in the corner of the lounger. After about 10 minutes of waiting, my boyfriend went up to the two waitresses and found they were never told we were there. The ambience is very nice and the music just added to it. The drinks and food were really good, I think our favorites were the pom-tini and the sliders. While the waitress was really nice, we had to keep asking the busboy to get the waitress so we could order more. Overall, the food and environment was awesome! The lack of communication amongst staff and the fact we had to ask to be waited on is the reason I gave this place three stars.
Very good rooftop lounge. You will have good views especially during the sunset time. A little expensive but it is definitely worth if you are going there on Wednesdays. You can see Anra playing Saxophone to some of your favorite songs. I would suggest this place if you are planning to meet your friends for a couple of drinks in the evening.
I had the best time here, the view, the vibe, the music was all exactly what we needed. I met up with my girlfriend & the drinks kept flowing, our server was really attentive & the manger Jackie was amazing!!! We had cosmos, frose & green tea shots, with kebabs & sliders… really loved every min of our experience ❤️.
Had a great time here for my friend’s birthday dinner. The food was good and the atmosphere was really fun. We had Anna as our server and she was a great! She made sure we were always taken care of and paid special attention to our friend for her birthday. I wound definitely stop here if you’re looking for a great drinks in a great atmosphere!
Have been to Elsie Rooftop a few times for the Sunday “Bamboleo Brunch”, but today was the first for Evening Drinks with my wife.• Elsie Rooftop is in a great location (Garment District in Manhattan // very accessible to most all Subway lines). It also has a nice vibe whether afternoon or evening.• Glad the Doorman was checking either your NYC COVIDSAFE app / or NYC ExcelsiorPass app / or their CDC card with ID!• Our waitress, WENDY, was also great (prompt service).• Rating 4/5 because yes their cocktails are delicious, but $19 for one?! Then $22 for 2 burger sliders?! =X** EDIT: Perhaps Brunch is 3 burger sliders for $22, whereas Happy Hour in the evenings may be 2 burger sliders? ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Elsie exceeded our expectations! We got here with no reservations and asked for outdoor seating, they were kind enough to let us move from indoors to outdoors. Lu was our waiter and she was the sweetest! She recommended the Colony Club which was a delicious handcrafted cocktail also helped is figure out what to eat for dinner! We will be back very soon!
Anna is a great waitress! Elsie Rooftop’s atmosphere is amazing. Seriously do not miss out on this place. Make sure to make reservations! Also, I would highly recommend their appetizers! They have live music during the weekends, which I would suggest for any couples/friends! We will def be back.
AWFUL. Avoid this place at all cost. Service was terrible and staff was extremely rude. We waited 30 minutes for a waiter to take our order. After placing our order, waitress made me give her my card. we waited for 30 minutes and nothing came. We order BEERS! So they didn’t even have to make anything. We had to go inside to FIND our waitress and ask what was going on. She said our drinks were maybe coming out soon because she forgot whether she had put in our order or not. We asked for the card back and left. Will not be coming back EVER.
Zara was AMAZING!! We made a very easy reservation 10 minutes early, we arrived at the place and were welcomed, our server Zara did an amazing job. The manager and all the staff have a very friendly attitude. The cocktails were good even though the menu is small. Highly recommended.
First night in NYC and had the privilege to experience this rooftop and Man oh man! Hands down one of my favorite and unforgettable nights I had here. The atmosphere was so up beat, Beautiful scenery and outstanding drinks. If you have the chance to meet Jackie, you’re in for a treat! If it wasn’t for her hospitality and beautiful soul things wouldn’t be as wonderful! I really appreciate her and her team that I just had to give her a hug because I was blown away with such great service.I’ll be back and for sure recommend this place to first timers to NYC. Thank you Elsie rooftop you have won a lil piece of my heart. ♥️FYI I never write reviews to anything but by all honestly I had to for this place they deserve 100🌟 I had to share this amazing experience and hopefully people can enjoy as mush as I did. THANK YOU AGAIN!
We had an amazing time here! Cute ambience to go with your girls. The music was diverse. The guac and chips were delish! The sliders were yummy. The manager Jackie was attentive and had us try the tasty green tea shot. She even made the experience better by bringing out sparklers! So cute! I will be back again!
Came for the ambiance, stayed for the hospitality. We came in on a Thursday night and we’re treated like queens thanks to Jackie. We flew from FL to be in NYC for the weekend and had such high expectations for Elsie - Jackie and her team BLEW away those expectations. We are definitely telling all of our friends (local and non-local). Thank you so much for the hospitality, NYC is definitely back.
Had an amazing time celebrating a friends birthday at Elsie! Anna was our waitress/server and she was amazing! She exceeded all our expectations. She had great customer service and our drinks were always out on time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with her. Thanks again Anna!!!
6 of us ended going up to Elsies and the overall experience was great with the exception of the service. The food and drinks were great as well as the atmosphere. Music was loud and fun, the vuew was great and the seating was cool. The service was lackluster as our server dropped us midway through our time. They ended up being unable to locate our tab and had to re add everything/track everything that was ordered. Another waitress picked us up but there was a solid hour with no service, we ended up having to go to the bar and get more food and drinks. Was fine overall would just be cautious of the service again.
Elsie Rooftop - solid rooftop option. The service wasnt always the best and the crowd tends to not be as fun as at other rooftops (you know every club or rooftop just has certain attention). In short, its a great place to grab drinks with a friend and hang and people watch a bit, but not for meeting and impromptu dancing (there is dancing that breaks out, its just not something that gets the people there going).
I made my reservation through open table and I went there with my friends even though seems like you dont need a reservation since they marked my reservation as no-show. And now open table is emailing me to clarify that.I wish I have never gone there. Staff was very rude. We need it an extra chair for our table and the server never help us to find or move an extra chair. We needed it to ask for the basic stuffs that you need when sharing appetizers, like napkins, sharing plates and ketchup, things that took a while to bring us. Food was very flat and overpriced and once again service was terrible, the server NEVER went to check on us. If youre a tourist go there for the view, if youre a local, dont waste your time.
You have to be detailed to security in lobby to enter and they provide the access up to ensure safety. Awesome view and the staff is very accommodating. Multiple restrooms and if you feel up to the challenge, you can always walk down the 25 flights to street level when tou are done having a great time. They cater private events and nothing like a cigar outdoors to cap a night.
I booked a table (outside) for 7 people. When we got to the place the girl at the entrance made us standing up to 20 minutes waiting for the table to be ready and ended up giving us some seats (5 for 7 people) in the back of the place (inside), under a loud speaker, saying that no table service would be provided (still don’t understand why).To get an “actual table” we would have had to wait 30 more minutes (I want to recall that we got there with a reservation).I understand that the rooftop was full, but it would be better and more polite to reject the reservation and let people organise something else.
First off, the drinks…omg. Second, the VIP host Dee was so fun and nice and accommodating to our needs!!! Made our visit so much fun and special, we can’t wait to come back! Not to mention our bartender Joey who was so attentive and made delicious cocktails (and not to mention eye candy LOL).
I came for their High Tea brunch event, and it was a decidedly mixed experience. TL;DR: gorgeous space, highly variable service, music too loud, inconsistent cocktails, excellent burlesque show. When we arrived (at 2:30, with High Tea ostensibly 2-5 PM), the staff present seemed confused when we said we were there for High Tea - to the point that we were double-checking whether we were in the right place. They eventually found someone who knew what was going on, though it still took multiple interactions to convey that we had prepaid for a group of four. Service was very slow, but everyone was extremely friendly and it was nice just sitting in this beautiful glassed-in roof area. We got a pot of rooibos chai with bourbon (yum, though definitely ask for some honey to add) and then a pitcher of mimosa sangria (skip it).Once the entertainment started (around 3), we had a great time. The performers were super talented and I think the service sped up some. We got a Red Room sangria, which was much better than the previous one, and some more food and cocktails (the Sunset is very pretty and yet tastier than I would expect for something so clearly designed to be Instagrammable, and my Penicillin was impeccably executed) - not included in the event promotion but well worth it (the cocktails, at least; the food was mostly mediocre, though they do a pleasant - if somewhat greasy - grilled cheese).Overall, a place I probably wont return to, but the physical space is worth a visit, the drinks range from acceptable to actually quite good, and they sure do know how to hire some excellent burlesque performers (who I suspect I will go see again, but at another venue).
Fun time and a pleasant setting in midtown/shmata district. The hostess, Ebony, was a pleasure to speak with and all the staff were professional and courteous. Our group was a mix of people relaxing, enjoying the view and comraderie but also some intent on networking and talking shop, splitting off into shards and discussions of potential collisions. Certainly unwieldy for the staff but organizing this crew would be like herding cats. The belly dancers providing entertainment was a surprise bonus.
One of my favorite rooftops in Manhattan. So classy with an old school retro chic feel. It has a view of the edge at Hudson yards and the famous ball in times sq. The lights throughout make it feel magical. Its a beautiful place with a great ambience decor and music. The staff is wonderful and Christian the manager is always very friendly, makes you feel so welcomed every time. Their always changing cocktail menu is superb and I highly recommend the Apple orchard with mezcal or the painkiller.
Terrible customer service. They canceled our reservation less than an hour before, which I wasn’t checking my email at 930pm. We showed up and the whole place was closed. Other groups had also made a reservation and showed up. I emailed them to inquire and they just never even responded. We went to Skylark around the corner. They definitely have better views any way.
Although this bar is called a rooftop bar, they did all they could to barely satisfy the legal requirements of being one. The actual outside rooftop portion is less than 30 feet big, and the rest of the place is fairly enclosed. The operations of this bar are definitely run by people who took one ops class in college and never again. We had a table with nobody else around us and they cleared us out to “clean” the area. While the floor was stickier than my roommates socks, they never let us back there and didn’t clean the area, so I’m quite confused as to what they were doing. Moreover, I went up to the bar and stepped in broken glass, which I pulled out of my shoe this morning. How are they going to clean a sticky floor but not try and clean a dropped glass that shattered on the ground? The only good thing about the place was getting my friend hammered on green tea shots
The food and drinks were lovely and our service was perfectly fine. Where Elsie falls down, however, is in the small details that suddenly loom large when you remind yourself that this is one of those places where $3000 bottle service is a thing on the menu. Uncomfortably dim toilet stalls with broken latches. Serviceware with incompletely removed price stickers. Every fabric seat--and I mean every fabric seat--stained like a crime scene. Cracked, peeling patio furniture. I could go on, but the bottom line is that Elsie, the House in Good Taste, doesnt hold itself to the standard it sells.
Great bar with good decor, the music here is poorly chosen and does not go with the vibe. I did not expect a classy Rooftop that plays excessively loud latin music. Did not expect that and don’t think it goes with the vibe. People are sitting down and and the music is very very loud and club music. Just a weird combination. Volume is the problem
Went to a fabulous burlesque high tea event at Elsies rooftop and it was amazing!! The space was great considering most of it was not accessible since it’s Winter. It felt more open than I expected. The food and tea was just okay. Could have been better. The performers were amazing though. Made up for the food and tea. Definitely recommend this place for the space and performance!
As is with any New York City rooftop; the ambiance and novelty of it is always a wonderful experience. Ill try the cocktails they are known for next. I wanted the one with the cotton candy. Ill try it next time. The mojito was subpar. They had entertainment; a singer by the name of Carla- G. She was Awesome !!! I ate b4 hand. I cant speak on food till my next visit.
Nice atmosphere and very well decorated. The drinks are, obviously, expensive and they also have a small area where you can sit and eat some dishes (which are quite decent for a bar). The only problem is that it is a little small and can get packed pretty easy and moving around becomes a challenges. Only 3 all-gender bathrooms doesnt make things better.
First time I come to Elsie bar and I came on the recommendation of a friend and I can say that the attention, the food are excellent but the best of all are the drinks, the cocktails that they prepare really have alcohol. Alvin makes the best drinks around The Time Square. when you go, go to the bar and ask Alvin to prepare them for you, he is the best
The energy and vibes of this hip swanky rooftop lounge is unmatched! The drinks are delicious and the view of the city is spectacular, would definitely come back again. Also Jackie the HM is a sweetheart and EXTREMELY hospitable we felt very welcome and at home here :)
Over rated, doesn’t deserve the hype. The menu is so short with limited food options. We went yesterday to watch the Mexican band and they told us no available seating near the band. Once something opens up then we will move u. Later, we saw an empty table, we asked them to move us as promised. They start making excuses about the table is reserved for the owner and his big party !!!!….. never again
I don’t even know where to start. As someone who visits Elsie frequently, I can say they DONT MISS! The gorgeous Jackie is hands down 2nd to none. I’ve picked Elsie Rooftop on multiple occasions to bring new colleagues, friends, and family and they’ve all had such a great time. Elsie provides such a wide variety of experience from belly dancers, live bands, live DJ’s with a sunny rooftop kind of day, or dancing at a pretty lounge kind of night. The drinks are strong but tasty and the bartenders are amazing. Not to mention the food, tapas type of vibe but I’ve tried the whole menu and there isn’t anything I don’t like, everything is flavorful and filling! We all know service is make or break pretty much anywhere and I have to say Jackie has cascaded her VIP hospitality to her entire team which makes them all nothing short of amazing. It’s worth the hype lol - keep doin what you’re doing Elsie crew!
We had such an amazing time! Came with my girls for my bachelorette this past Sunday, and we had a wonderful time. Jackie was an ABSOLUTE sweetheart!!! She went above and beyond for us, gave us free drinks, took pictures with us, brought out sparkles for the whole table to celebrate my day...she made me feel extra special!! Thank you to the staff, and to Jackie for the good time and the awesome memories. We will be definitely coming back!
This place is so cute! I picked it from a random list of rooftop bars near Bryant Park and Im so happy we came. The vibe is chill and the service is great. Even the bouncer was super polite haha. So glad we discovered it- well def be back!Edit: I wish I could write two reviews. Good service gets me every time. Im def making sure my friends know about this place.
Service was absolutely amazing. Even though we had a new server, she was on point with our order and very attentive to our table. The manager, Jackie, took the time to also check on our table and make sure we were being well taken care of. The drinks were delicious and the food was perfect.
The Elise might be the greatest rooftop experience I’ve encountered in possibly ever. It’s has some of the best views of the city, great music and the service is 5 stars like this review. The food is extremely tasty I had the chicken skewers and grilled cheese and trust this wasn’t your average. Also had the f’rose, colony club and 2 spicy margaritas and they were sensational. But the icing on the cake was Jackie, when I say the highlight of my experience I mean it. She was just everything and more that you would want in your dining and drinking experience. Ensures everything is more than perfect and made this experience one of the best. This is the type of experience you want again and again, and I feel privileged to have encountered this so unexpectedly. Thank you again to Jackie and the rest of the staff and will be back sooner than later.
I came to Elsie for an after work birthday happy hour and it was nothing but fantastic. We didn’t have a reservation and were seated immediately … the chic wait staff was kind and efficient. The cocktails were top notch. Order some snacks and it’ll make any night complete … then later on the view of New York … and it’ll be a chef’s kiss of a night! Bravo! Cheers!
Elsie is a diamond in the heart of midtown. Vibrant, classy, and totally fun vibes. Love the outdoor rooftop that overlooks the city. The chicken satay skewers are amazing. Adrian the bartender kept our glasses full all night and Jackie the manager made sure we were okay as well. Can’t recommend this place enough.
A very nice hidden rooftop bar. The drinks were good and the staff were accommodating but a portion of the bar was closed due to renovation and I guess it was sort of slow when I went. I suppose its not as lively during early fall. The staff did try to get patrons in the mood to party. Ill have to come back during the spring or summer to see if its any different
I wish I could give this place higher stars. The ambiance here is nice, which is the only reason it gets 2. The drinks are ridiculously overpriced ($21 for glass of wine). The food is very mediocre. The margherita flatbread seemed like microwave pizza at best. They need to improve on the food and bring their drink prices down to earth.
Elsie Rooftop was amazing! Great atmosphere, great music, and most important great service. Great place for after-work happy hour and even better place if you’re looking for an upscale place on the weekend. Customer service is top notch and Jack is amazing in her own right! She made us feel welcome, and most importantly, she made us feel like this was “our spot”. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back for work events and client dinners.
This place is GORGEOUS. I texted my friend as soon as I walked in to let her know how beautiful the space is. On top of that, the drinks are incredible and the staff is even better, especially Jackie. She is the general manager and she is the sweetest person. From someone who just moved into the city, she was exactly what I needed to make me feel like I’m home. Please go!
Elsie Rooftop is the perfect place to meet up w the girls for DELICIOUS drinks and great food to share with the table! I ordered the Strawberry Rebel cocktail which hit the spot and my friends and I shared the sliders.. um YUM! Love the ambiance and whole vibe. The wait staff is so friendly. Overall great spot!
Me my boyfriend and my daughter went to Elsie on a Sunday afternoon and Luz was our waitress and she was so friendly and nice to us. From every staff that was around she was the most attentive and friendly one. The appetizers were great and the cucumber drink she told me to have The Elsie drink was literally the beat. Definitely coming back
Found this spot on a whim for a quick after-work drink. The manager and all of the waitresses were so friendly and professional and made sure we were comfortable. It began to rain during our stay and they moved us not once but twice to accommodate our needs. The decor was beautiful and modern and the ambience was fun, but lowkey.Very chill. Will 100% be back!
FALSE ADVERTiSING! Do NOT go here for NYE! Purchased tickets which were non refundable for over $3000 promising a “terrace table for 2, with a view of the ball dropping” and this place is no where near a view of Times Square! We were given a couch inside with ZERO view of ANYTHING! A bottle of champagne that costs $45 at BevMo and charged us $300 and gave us some tasteless platter that I wouldn’t serve to my dogs. What a joke and waste of money! This “exclusive event” cost more than my first car! Warning to anyone else looking to book here for New Years Eve! Stay away!!!
The Elsie is a great time for elevated drinks in midtown without the crowds of Times Square. The staff is super accommodating, and the general manager Jackie is superb. Drink prices are on par with any other venue in Manhattan but what sets this place apart is the smart-casual atmosphere and amazing views.
Really wanted to like this place because I know theyre really working hard to improve the customer experience. The drinks are very overpriced which you would expect from a rooftop bar downtown but the service makes them not worth it. Everyone at our table (sitting in the lounge area) had to get up periodically to order drinks. Im not sure if they were understaffed but we had a server when we first sat down and it wasnt busy. Someone came around once our entire time there. Im surprised to see positive feedback about the general manager (?)-- Jack- as she didnt address our lack of having an assigned server after my friend asked for assistance ordering. I overheard her describing our Speaker of the House, a c***. My jaw dropped. I understand she might not care for her politics but what a strange thing to feel so comfortable saying publicly especially in your workplace. Really a turn off.
Really enjoyed the food and the cocktail menu had some excellent options. I would recommend the Paloma as well as the sliders for food. The manager Jackie was amazing and made sure that our food and drinks came out quick and the quality of the food + drinks was awesome. I am visiting in New York and would 100% recommend this rooftop and would visit again when I come back.
Terrible service. We were served food that wasnt on the menu and charged for it. We had a party of 8 and had 3 people order the double sliders. We were given one double sliders order correct then given 2 slider orders from a previous menu not on the new menu. The server said they got a new menu 2 weeks ago and they were still familiarizing themselves with the menu. The food/appetizer menu is one page long. No more than 20 items and they couldnt get it down in 2 weeks. Im sorry but thats ridiculous. We asked the server why the slider orders were different and she said it was a single order. But no single order in the menu. Our waitress didn’t know the prices of the menu items and argued with us when the order was wrong and blamed it on the change of menu. No apology. Just continued arguing and saying it wasnt her fault they changed the menu. Like, what?!?! When we asked to speak to the manager, she called the manager and he refused to see us and said they wouldnt give any discount. We werent looking for a discount, just an explanation of why we were given food that wasnt even on the menu. Unbelievable that a manager would refuse to speak to a customer.
Awesome place to hang out and see the sunset!! Music is cool! And the service it’s really good since the moment you get to building till when you’re at the table! We had Sahra as our waitress she was so kind and attentive!!! Drinks are very good too!Definitely coming back 🤩🤩🤩
I am visiting from Connecticut and found Elsie’s rooftop. It was a great experience…we were seated inside under the beautiful hanging lights… the food was great… ambiance was amazing and the staff members are friendly. Our waitress Francesca was attentive and friendly and Jackie the manager was absolutely wonderful in her attentiveness to our needs … very cool place to visit ….!!!!
The 2 stars come from a nice rooftop. Other than that, it’s a NO. When we were seated, no one greeted us to let us know they were our server. I had to stop someone who said they’d go get my server. She came. She was friendly but she gave no name and not one time did she organically come up to the table. Each time she came, it was because one of us had to call her over. Almost like she forgot were her guests. The place is ENTIRELY OVERPRICED! We paid steak house prices for apps and drinks… the drinks were tasty but not very strong and the apps were blah. The sliders bun was hard and sliders overall just weren’t good. The pizza was the best. But it seemed like they didn’t leave it in the oven long enough. Lol. As I’m writing this all I can think is… This place is GHETTO.
The vibe and ambiance of Elsie Rooftop is beautiful. Jackie was AMAZING, so attentive and such a good time. Everyone here was so nice, fun and friendly, especially Deani. The roasted red pepper hummus was SLAMMING!it was my birthday. They brought me out sparklers and shots on the house. a good time!
My friend and I were bar hopping and stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night just trying to find a rooftop close by to enjoy a few drinks before we moved on to the next….but we never left. Elsies did NOT disappoint. The hostess and our waitress were very friendly. Tasty drinks and really good vibes with a perfect atmosphere. Jackie the manager was AWESOME and truly went out of her way to make our night enjoyable!! She showed us to the back of the rooftop where there was a lot more space, a DJ playing excellent music where we danced all night and introduced us to the bartender and waitress Branka who undoubtedly made us feel welcomed. The hospitality was unreal and we will definitely be coming back!!
Elsie rooftop is such a fun place to be!! The food is so great and the sunset drink is 10/10! Our waitress Christian was so fun and made the experience just that much better!!! Overall a really great place to be, i definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to go for lounge bar vibes!
Elsie Rooftop is definitely the place to be when there’s a want and need for a vibey rooftop with friends. The service is absolutely incredible… we had an awesome time. The menu as well is just as good as the drinks, great meals to pick on. I give it a big thumbs up in my book👍
Nice looking venue. Disappointing views. Adequate service. Food is overpriced. Flatbread took forever, then came cold. Credit card gets hijacked upfront, only to be seen again with the check. Lots of rooftop bars in NYC provide better views and way better value. Not going back.
If you love a mediocre view, bad service (drinks every 1hr if youre lucky, if not please feel free to get up from your table multiple times and find any server to place your order), and being forced to pay 18% gratuity no matter the quality of the service. This is your spot.P.S. if you are approached by the manager Jackie for drinks on the house due to the lack of service. DO NOT ACCEPT THEM. The lovely Jackie will hold the Free Shots against you in order to compensate for the low grade service.Lesson? Any establishment FORCING a 18% gratuity can care less about the service they have provided.
I spent a great Valentine’s night with a couple of close friends at Elsie. The views, vibe, and cocktails at Elsie cannot be beat. I was a bit apprehensive when I made the reservation on OpenTable, as the minimum spending requirement for Valentine’s Day seemed a bit steep. However, considering that drinks are $20 a piece, and considering that it was Valentine’s Day, it wasn’t a bad deal and the minimum was easy to reach after a few rounds of cocktails and some appetizers. As always, the service was great, the music and mood ideal, and the fabulous cocktails on point. Will definitely be back for date night or girls night out soon!
So my friend is from nola and he came here couples of days back and i live in nyc but than also didnt know about this place,so told me to visit this rooftop bar and i am glad i did it’s one of the best rooftop bar i have ever visited the people the drinks and the atmosphere is super cool.thank you guys gonna come back sonn!!
Among the best rooftop bars in all of New York city. Ambiance, service, food and drinks are second to none. The General Manager Jacquie is absolutely amazing- incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable and personable. One of the best individuals working in the industry today.
Beautiful ambiance, great vibe, nice mix of music at the perfect volume so you can still have a conversation...... drinks were delicious had a few appetizers which were also great had a little issue with the food everything was quickly handled by the manager which was a great plus not to mention the views were amazing...... definitely will be visiting again!
Absolutely amazing service!!! The best vibes of any rooftop around. The AGM Jacquie made our experience something i’ve never experienced. She is so friendly and on top of things. There was not one table that wasn’t attended to at all times. She is the best!!! 1000% recommend it here.

2022-07-12Interesting spot. Spent a few hours here with friends on a night out. It wasnt too busy overall. The place is pretty nice, decor-wise and they have some creative drinks that are not standard fare. Cocktails were about $18. I had the peach sangria and it was tasty. Our party also had the truffle grilled cheese and it was pretty delicious. Views are okay... It looks like they have a bit of a view of the new years ball, so could be a decent spot for new years. Nothing compelling me to come back, but I wouldnt say no...

2021-11-30Beautiful on the inside. The ambiance was wonderful. Amazing views.. Best place to watch the ball drop for New Years Eve if you are lucky enough to reserve a spot. Hands down to D and Charlie for their hospitality for someone who had never stepped foot into a NYC premiere spot. Thank you for the wonderful experience.. Ill never forget it and definitely would recommend to everyone.

2022-05-02Very good rooftop! We made a reservation and were seated in no time. The cocktails are delicious and are better than at many other rooftops. Looks ideal for a date or girls night out.

2022-07-25I can’t recommend this spot highly enough! Came for my anniversary and was greeted with bubbles when we sat down! The staff was incredibly polite and accommodating! The manager that night was incredible and made sure we were well taken care of!The kefta kabobs are nice, but the cocktail selection is where Elsie’s really shines! Beautiful view and great atmosphere!

2021-12-31Very nice place to sit, relax, and have a drink with friends. The ambiance spectacular. The vibes immaculate. There is even a view of Times Square! 10/10 would recommend coming here with your friends or significant other to have a drink and have a great time. This was the perfect drink spot for first night in NY.

2021-09-28Elsies has everything you would want when you visit a New York city rooftop. Beautiful views of Manhattan, indoor and outdoor seating thats beautifully decorated. The food and cocktails are delicious. The doormen, hostess and servers were all fun and friendly the staff is top tier. I highly recommend this rooftop, its a great spot to get together with a few friends, a group of friends, celebrations, or a nice date. The vibe is high energy and super fun. The atmosphere is really inviting and comfortable. Its social media picture worthy, I personally was having too much fun to to take photos. I highly recommend making reservations in advance, they are really busy.

2022-05-29We probably should have visited in the day instead of at night on a Saturday. The view was surprisingly limited versus some other rooftops in NYC. Most staff were borderline hostile; bartenders and the guy managing crowd flow were cool. My colleague said he did not think the champagne glass he received was what he actually ordered and paid for. I didn’t see them poor it. My drinks were fine. That said, the space was very cool looking. I would come back in the day.
