I dont recommend if youre doing any case that you need to fill documents more than once. I started doing a petition for my parents, the first papers they helped me to fill was good, but when I need to send the rest of the forms I called 100 times I leave a lot of messages but I never received an answer I lost a lot of time and I spend more money than I would paid if I had done with a private attorney.

Terrible, wouldn’t go near the place. I rang in asking about help on 1 matter. The woman on the phone said her name was Sally, she couldn’t have cared less. She didn’t care about what I was saying, put me on hold, well what she thought was hold. I could hear her speak to someone else and I don’t know if that’s the way she talks all the time but she’d be better off not interacting with anyone in this line of work. I was described as “a kid” numerous times. Terrible. I asked where abouts in the city a particular building was, she told me firstly it was on 42nd st and then told me to check online myself. So I did, and yep.. she was very much off with her directions. No help whatsoever, I wouldn’t bother ringing or calling in. It’s a waste of time. She shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a job like this, I’m so annoyed I even called the place now. Go elsewhere and read comments prior to mine. It should be enough for you to STAY CLEAR!!

Came here with a relative that needed to sort their papers. All visitors are supposed to sign in and the receptionist asked what we were visiting for. It’s very ironic that they have a poster outside of their office being pro-immigration yet we had the rudest and most humiliating interaction with the receptionist. I don’t want to go deeper into it, but let’s just say the receptionist shouldn’t give us a “consultation” if she’s not a lawyer who actually works these cases and knows what they’re saying. Don’t waste your time here. We went to another office in Astoria and were being treated 100% better. To the receptionist, a big F-U. Stop sticking your nose in a topic as sensitive as immigration, especially if you’re going to go out of your way to be the least helpful.

I cant talk for all the lawyers at Emerald Isle Immigration Center, but if they are all like the one I dealt with, this firm is ONLY money oriented.The second there was a new question, there was no free answer possibility, or guidance.She was very unprofessional when it came to communication, emails being handled very rudely, it seems like she was never taught on how to write them. I think we all agree being polite is a common sense basic rule.I could understand the greed, but it doesnt cost any money to have good manners.

You must tell the receptionist you are there even though previously you must ring the bell in order to get in, also despite you sign in right in front of her and write the reason of your visit and that you are sitting in front of her for over 40 minutes, otherwise she will not realize that you are there because she is too busy chatting to the other receptionist and she will waste your time because she is incapable of asking hello, may I help you? or hello, whats the reason of your visit?The funniest part is they will blame on you for not telling them that you are thereTotal lack of organization

Great community organization offering various services for anyone who needs them at no cost. They offer free English and citizenship classes a few times a week to neighborhood residents.
