The lady that takes the order “Deya” does not know what customer service is. She completely messes up your order and doesn’t even confirm it with you. Not only that, she is completely rude when confronted about your order not being right. Literally the biggest waste of $40.00 for two small juices, two empanadas, and two orders.
Amazing food and really good atmosphere
The service is good and fast , but the hamburger I didn’t like it , It was my first time try the hamburger. In my opinion the meat was dry and very salt it , if you combine the meat , bacon and cheese. The hamburger is very salt it . IamSorry . I ask for hot dog and ,I said plain hot dog for my daughter , and the hot dog had meat and everything.... no good . 😟😟

I ordered $80 of picaderas and fritura for today at 7pm and its 8:28 pm and I havent received it. I keep on calling the person who took my order and she is rude, telling me that I had to call to give my address when it clearly says it on the receipt!!

I order every weekend there a loyal costumer good food the worst costumer service one time I place a order they told me to pick up in 20 minutes and I spend 40 minutes today I ordered something they told me 35 minutes went there and I spend there one hour waiting for the food that i you old Eva that I didn’t want it no more worse costumer service
Food and drinks were good. Currently no indoor dining as they are remodeling the inside but the hostess was very nice. A must for quick hispanic meals.
BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! They dont understand your order. You can repeat your order 5 times and they give what they want. Not what you ordered.Specifically... I ordered a pepper steak sandwich. OF COURSE IT HAD NOOOOO PEPPERS. They added lettuce and tomatoes telling all sandwiches have lettuce and tomatoes. WHAT/WHO/WHERE adds lettuce and tomatoes to a pepper steak? NEVER AGAIN
This place doesn’t deserved not even a star is not what it used to be I waited 2 hours for my food & them on top when I called the lady kept telling me the food left that I will arrive soon mind you I live 10 mins away from them... the food got here cold the mofongitos the chicken was dry no flavor it was horrible I will definitely not order from here & to believe this was my favorite spot. I guess not no more ..
As much as everything on the menu sounds amazing it was to good to be true, who ever is cooking could seriously use a big lesson in seasoning, with so much Spanish flavor out there and recipes these days to choose from this was a disappointment. I feel like that is a huge negative impact on your buisness that could make it harder for you to stay open despite the trouble covid is causing for small businesses in the community, my entire order was distasteful so much fat left mixed in the pork given if it had any flavor ok no biggie but that was not the case here and as if it couldnt be any worst I got a pork yaroa and a Cuban sandwich no flavor what so ever thank God for ketchup , i also got a beef and chicken empanada even they couldnt escape the poor taste which were also very oily as if they just threw it in the bag asoon as it came out the fryer. Really think you need a new chef that can bring the love care and quality when cooking ASAP! As much as Id like to support your business i cant because the food was no good. 2 stars because i really dont want to put the place down but my taste buds really want to say 1, sorry I wont be back.
Ordered yaroa and a chimi combo with fries , it was horrible ,full of oil and very salty , we werent able to eat it and threw it all out
Worst customer service! No respect for their customers! No refund and no food if you ever make a mistake on youre address. They do not call you when the food has arrived so it can be given to anyone. Youd think it being a Dominican restaurant theyd have more respect! Trash of an establishment. Dont waste youre money!
Excellent customer service. Aside from the delicious food that was provided to me and my family the food was on another level great taste and prefect plateting. Small cozy place but the best by far Dominican fast food Ive tasted in New York. Good luck to the owner for great Managnent with his team and his location. Hope to see you guys very soon
I’ve been to just about every Empanadas juice bar in the area and geegodly I must say customer service was bad. I previously heard good things about the food so I order a cheese burger Empanadas and a crab meat.The burger was more like a spam and the cheese and sauce tasted like it came from a can. I bit in to the crab one and I think they put the whole carton of salt in one Empanada WORST experience ever. On to the next spot.
The empanadas are good for a quick snack to go. Their fruit juices are poured from the gallon and are very sugary.
Excellent services, very good Dominican food, everything its fresh a lot of choices to eat and drink (natural juice and smoothies) .You must order to pick up or to go, I think they have delivery option for the area , but Im going from nj just to get those delicious sandwiches and patties.A must go place

Manhattan style lunch spot, fresh ingredients, quality meats and cheeses combined with skillful layering of flavors. I can see this place expanding to the city and easily compete with the best. Ive had both a Gladiator burger and Russian panini, both were top notch and undeniably delicious. I would go out of my way to eat here.
Place allows people stand out front of door and in business smoking and drinking its very tiny when it first opened it was great...now the place isnt clean and the employees mostly male get frisky with female clientele without being lead on...they have a fruit bar which they use to make smoothies....fruits look worse than those discarded in back os a market. Go early in morning and you will see the food leftout the night before still in place to be sold as fresh food....nasty nasty nasty.
Lemme tell yall, I LOVED their Cheeseburger Empanada! Man best one Ive had yet. I live in Queens but I will be back goo support them !!

I went to this place and ordered chicharrones de pollo which is should be fried chicken chunks. Instead i was given chicken tenders which is different and were severely over fried to the point that some parts were not eitible. As asked the woman who took my order if they had fried cheese she replied yes. I get home and its french fries with hard cheese. Maybe there was language barrier but if she didnt understand she should have said so. To i pretty much threw my money in the trash.
I went to their location on Bruckner Blvd. The place is small but the Gladiator burger I ate with bbq sauce was perfect and their fries nice and crispy. Fresh ground beef. The young dude at the front was helpful too. Would choose them over the expensive Milkbuger across the street.

Very bad delivery. I placed an order at 9:06pm when i called back at 10:15pm,they said it was on its way, then when i called back at 10:35pm they said they were just preparing it we called and called, and it seemed like they were avoiding hour call. We got our food at 11:10pm it was good but very cold and the delivery guy expected tips and got mad when he wasnt getting any. Very bad delivery and customer service. They were little minutes away from us and took hours.
Ordered a delivery at 8:45pm, it’s now 10:02pm. Still haven’t received my food. I live 10 mins away.

This is a little hole in the wall, but the food is first class. The staff is friendly and the variety is impressive. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is a Gem in the high bridge area of the Bronx. This area is a true food desert! Although Emergency snack bar isnt serving up healthy food it does provide some variety and an alternative to Kennedy fried, johnnys fried and bodega sandwiches.Emergency has an impressive selection of what I like to call 420 foods. The kind of things your looking for when you have the munchies. They have burgers, chicken salads, sandwiches and Latin treats like rellenas de papa and pastelitos to name a few. They also serve fresh fruit juice like papaya or pineapple. My fav thing to order here is the Dominican hot dog. This is a large hot dog loaded with ground beef, cheese and potato straws and topped with ketchup and mayo. The ultimate fat food! I enjoy every bite of this hotdog every time I get it. I usually get fries with it. Their fries arent your standard bland crinkle cut fries a lot of places serve. The fries are battered, seasoned and crispy! This dish is my go to when Im in this area and looking for a a high calorie treat. Their juices are also A1. The pinnacle is my favorite! It tastes like 100 percent pineapple and some artificially flavored drink loaded with HFCS.4 stars for emergency. Food is great, prices are reasonable and they are open late! The service can be slow. At times Ive found myself waiting 20+ mins for a simple order. To avoid this I would call in advance. Another thing to their credit is they accept debit cards with the ridiculously high min transaction amount business in the area have. They also deliver.
Waited over 4 hours for my food to get delivered. I called and called and the driver seemed to always be on his way and never got here with the food. This place is horrible. Never again will I ever order from here. Horrible service.

I placed a order at 7:55 Pm expecting delivery at 8:50 Pm-9:00 Pm my order got here at 10:15pm the sandwiches i ordered were hard the sauces made the bottom of the bread soft it was the WORST experience i could of had as for food delivery experience it felt like i was eating bread dipped in vinegar like dominicans eat chocolate con pan but vinegar instead never ordering again from here would recommend it....i recommend dominos pizza that will at least it take a hour no longer
Great place to grab a snack when you crave for something that will water your mouth. Love their club sandwich with fries for dinner on those days that kitchen is closed down at home.
Ordering food and them getting it correct is a miracle.. there food is great when its slow but once its busy they make up there own idea of your order...
These guys are no joke! By far the best Dominican quick on the run spot outside of the Dominican republic itself! I recommend the Morongo de chicharron de credo, as well as their cubano sandwich.

What I ordered did not work, Mini mofongo... it was cold and hard... it did not seem finished. They must specify each ingredient: Example the pink sauce (its catchup & mayo) and now... its nothing different or special... and it makes the food very acidic. First visit and last, I did not like it.
The food will not be bad but the delivery service is lousy, I order a meal at 9 pm and I arrive at 11:20 pm.
The place is very nice, the customer service accordingly. I recommend the empanadas with that sauce that they give as a gift… And when I ask for a delivery, the food arrives quickly.Delicious food and nice atmosphere ..One of the best restaurants in the sector.
After several years ordering and recommending this site. Yesterday after calling with all due respect to let you know about your uber eats service, which menu is not very clear, and the order that came to me was not what I asked for. I also let you know that I hadnt ordered mofongo because it has changed lately. The young lady who took the phone did not know how to handle herself very well.
I asked them for some hot dogs. And it was supposed to come to me like the photos you upload. But no, the bread came all burned. And hard. I call and what they tell me that you do not see it that way…. Last time I ordered something from you. 👎
Everything came out cold and bad ... its always the same with these people 😢 the food only comes out good and fresh when the owner is there. They should always work like this, not only when you are the owner.
Well, the food is really good, but I hope that when they move to the new store, things will improve in terms of customer service. I know that those guys who work hard deserve that their effort is worth it, but unfortunately, I dont know what happens to those who answer the phone! I dont know if its a lot of work for them or what? But in my experience with clients I can say that they should handle cuts in a manner without attitude and paying attention to what customers want, to be more active, when the client is unaware of the menu they do not know how to give suggestions, the service is totally very painful customer, but I hope it improves from the heart.
Very bad!!! Visit this place at 9am to buy a breakfast and it turned out that they are not open yet. In the hours indicated in gmaps it says that they are open and that they close at 12 at night. I come from Queens and when I arrived I see that they are not open yet ... They should edit the hours that they added in the gmaps information so that clients like me do not waste their time when they arrive and see the business closed ... Another thing, no I know why breakfasts are promoted on Instagram if they dont really open early or is it that they sell breakfasts at 12 oclock in the morning? 🤔I came back another day and apparently they moved the business closer to where it was before. They took my order quickly, although the waiting time is a bit long. I did not see it very busy when I went but I did notice that they had a lot of online orders waiting. Hopefully they are better organized and thus the waiting time is reduced .. besides my ta good there was another client waiting first than me ...

2022-04-15My sister and me have been ordering food at emergency for years and as of late weve been treated super poorly. I can understand being bored at work, or not being in great mood, whatever. These are tough times for everybody but that isnt an excuse to treat a customer poorly. My sister is of age but visibly younger than me and we walked in as we normally do. The employee who took our order barely greeted us and was extremely rude. Mind you, were Dominican and we spoke fluent Spanish. La flaka picked up on her vibes, took over the situation, y nos atendió con mucho detalle. We were the only two customers in the store... The food is cool but its not worth being treated poorly over.

2022-05-24Trash food very expensive and be ready to do time in the bathroom . Everytime I ate there my stomach would killing me afterwards, on top of that they have all cars double parked all along the street . Oh and the ladies working there have stank attitudes.

2022-02-16Food was supposed to be delivered at 7:30 it was past 8pm and it wasn’t even being prepared so I tried to call them and their phone line is disconnected. BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL.To them It’s okay to take your money, not provide you with at least a decent customer service and then have you running around trying to get a refund for an order they even intended to deliver on time. Shameful, Shameful business!!!

2021-09-09Soooo bad!! I ordered a yaroa from here and when I got it, it had wayyy too much mayo and ketchup, i asked to put roast pork and they made it with chicken and i received my order a whole 1:30 hour after ordering. I’m personally not ordering from here again, $17 put to waste😒

I mean why do the owner hire employees that barely understand english, “Owner plz step your business game up & if you want better do better” (HIRE) employees that know customer service & that can understand English😠without getting an attitude & messing up people’s order…I ordered from there today and it was horrible no taste. I could care less for this unprofessional place.
