It was my first time ordering from Emilios tonight .Fried calamari- the best I ever had , marinara sauce is so delicious and calamaris were cooked perfectly.Chicken vodka slice - So deliciousCheese pizza - PerfectDelivery: Very fast and Delivery guy was so nice and polite . Overall I highly recommend this place . Delicious!!
We loved Emilio’s taste is not the same no more. Also one of their delivery drives is so rude ask for tip and tells you he doesn’t carry change. It’s not the first time this driver has done this and treats the food really poorly food.It saddens me to say this but I don’t think I will no longer order from here. This was my go to spot taste is no longer the same
This place is straight up robbing people. So I took my kids to the urgent care right next door and decided to grab a quick bite while they were in the Dr office so I ordered a Beef patty with cheese so the price of this anywhere else is about $4 the most when I went to pay for it the guy said $6.50 I was in shock so basically a plain one is $4 and cheese is 2.50 a complete rip-off and it was trash to boot smh never again!!!
Pizza is good, there is absolutely zero parking on the area, which makes it difficult to get to the restaurant. The food is very good., very small eating area, makes it difficult to have a conversation. There are no napkins, you almost have to beg for some. I understand business try to save money anyway they can, but come on.
O Stars for this place. We ordered for delivery and paid extra for deliver service as well. When driver delivers our pizza he ask us for tip, we told him we paid the tip already he got a horrible attitude with us & even told us off. He seems like an italian guy. Will not order from here again !!!!
Gravy dont taste the same, food and pizza, are falling off, again, Ive been coming here for years, and sometime ago a co worker of mine found a cooked roach in her Pizza, after a few years I decided to give them another chance , but after going back and seeing nothing much has changed things just got it worse and they are extremely overpriced
Apparently there are new partners and everything is going down the drain. The pizza is leftover with toppings. I ordered cabonara and there were onions in it, there was so much cream , just unappetizing. The cream came off the lid and smelled when I opened the container. And when I called to tell the manager about the fact that theres ingredients in my dish that arent on the site, I was met with disbelief by the manager. Spent 50 cash for this trash food. I can go in there and make better pasta than the dog food I received. This place used to mean something. This pasta used to mean something, fresh pizza used to mean something. They get far on name alone but the food doesnt feel authentic Italian anymore.. 0 out of 10.
I’ve been coming here for years after work I know we’re to find great pizza.ext. For the first time in a while my family and I were able to sit in to enjoy our late dinner. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food and so was my family.I hope they don’t loose their touch being,I travel over 30 min to get there. And expect nothing but the best.M.A
Specialty pizzas are good but very expensive and the normal or 1 topping slices are just overpriced and not at all worth it. If you want to spend almost $40 on a decent (I cant say its any better than decent) pizza, like $12 for mozzarella sticks, etc well then by all means but for Bronx pizza expect to pay a lot for not too much
My family ordered here on 3 separate occasions. Overall, food was delicious. I was particularly impressed with their vodka and pesto chicken pizza. For the other times, we got the seafood pasta and the clam and shrimp pasta. Both pastas were tasty. Just wished the noodles and shrimp were not overcooked. In terms of waiting time, my dad said he waited thirty minutes for one order of the pasta which I sort of understand because they cook it per order (but still..)
OMG. I have never been to Emilio’s and I’ve lived in the area for years! I recently went in for a slice, but also brought a Stromboli, and fried Oreos. After one bite from a regular slice, I thought I died and went to pizza heaven. The taste was fabulous. I don’t know what ingredients they use in their pizza, but I never tasted such a delicious pizza. (I’m salivating for another as I write.) I can’t wait to try their other products. Umm, umm, good! (Look out Emmit’s, in Manhattan, I just found your competitor!)PS: I never had fried Oreos, and they were an interesting treat!
I tried to place an order thru the phone & the guy just kept cutting me off. Wouldn’t let me even finish saying what I wanted without him rudely interrupting. Then I asked him what slice he had he told me everything opposite to just stating what it is that they have as a normal business person would have done. I actually drove by right after the phone call & the place was not busy at all . No need to be rude when you’re not busy . And even if you are learn how to speak to your customers ! Would not be ordering from here.
The food is phenomenal and the portions are good sized, but the price is astronomical!! I guess its because he has 15 workers working at the same time and payroll is expensive! The owner shouldnt charge so much during the pandemic. Not everyone is loaded like him. I think the customers should cut back and give other establishments their business.
Good pizza, but bad customer service over phone. I guess the business is so good that now they dont care to lose customers and thats sad. I understand people have to wait for pizza, but if you as business has higher demand, make sure you have more employees to full fill your customers demands, rather feeling that is fine to have customers wait almost one hour to eat.Even on order pick up the waiting time is unacceptable. Please look for a better person to take care the customers over the phone. You are a good pizzeria, please dont let someone with poor customers service change that.Thank you
I should’ve cooked my own Mothers Day dinner instead of leaving it up to Emilio’s. The order was incomplete and customer service was horrible. Our dinner included a hero that was NEVER added to the order and a tray of chicken and broccoli but they forgot the CHICKEN. Even though we went into detail, several times, on what we wanted they some how got the order wrong. Instead of paying for TV advertisement maybe the money should be directed towards hiring more and better help.
This place is great! The slices of pizza can be on the expensive side BUT ITS SO WORTH IT! They really go all out on the toppings! I loved their pizza before I was vegan, especially the chicken bacon ranch slice. With that said, I’m vegan now and they don’t have vegan options except for the veggie slice.... but it doesn’t have cheese. :( I would recommend to invest in making this place more vegan friendly, to cater to ALL customers.
I’ve been ordering from Emilios since I moved to Morris park and I must say their service is extremely poor. The man who delivered our order was extremely rude, did not let me speak and also hung up on me. I will deff will not be ordering from here anymore. Being courteous and friendly goes along way. Such a disappointment and the dishes are nothing like they use to be.
Good pizza. The croquettes were really good. Id get those again. The rice balls and the garlic knots were good also. I originally called to pick up just a large pepperoni pie and the wait time was 35 mins. Dont wait until you are very hungry to order. I added the other things when I was waiting in the restaurant. I imagine a delivery order would take longer. Id go back and try their other menu options since theyre local and close to my home.
I ordered from here before 3 times and I thought the pizza was absolutely amazing that I kept the pamphlet. I order one night and wanted chicken cutlets on the pizza and they said they didn’t have any but they can give it on the side as a seperate order. I said yes because I thought I’ll get a large portion of it since it was 9 something. When the order gets here it was literally 2 pieces of chicken cutlets! For 9.90 I thought this was outrages! Now I know why he didn’t want to change my order because he wanted money for those miserable pieces of chicken! Overly priced. They do take advantage and jack up the prices.
In my opinion if a plain slice does not taste good. I wouldnt take a chance on any other dish. Not sure if it was the overly acidic sauce or the poor quality cheese theyre using. I bought two slices and discarded both. I usually chuck it up and would eat pizza thats just ok. Not this time.
My husband and I order from Emilios regularly. We especially wanted to support small business owners during the pandemic. We went there today and ordered two slices of pizza and an eggplant panini. We noticed that everyone who came after us was getting their orders as we patiently waited for ours. We also noticed the cashier and another man behind the counter laughing. After 30 minutes, the man grabbed our food that was on top of the pizza oven the entire time we were waiting and gave it to us. Im not sure what kind of joke they were playing or how they thought this was funny, but this is a fast way to lose a consistant customer. If I was the owner, I would re-evaluate my staff, because actions like this drive people away. I would rather support small businesses that appreciate their customers and repeat business, than continue to give my money to a place who treats people like this. They should also re-train their staff on covid-19 procedures such as keeping your mask on and covering your nose and mouth, not allowing customers behind the counter, and not having pizza boxes on the tables next to the entrance for people to touch while they wait for their order... to name a few that I witnessed today.
When I was a kid, I loved this place. But now, It’s way too overpriced and you don’t ever get your order how you like it. They refuse to put condiments (garlic, oregano, parmesan, chili flakes) on your pizza for a useless reason. Don’t order the penne alla vodka from here, you’ll regret it (I’m so serious). It has zero taste and they’re not generous with the vodka sauce. So, you’re basically eating some dry pasta. The Baked Clams from this place will break your teeth. The people here take everything personal if want your food prepared a certain way. (Make sure they don’t spit in your food). Not worth it anymore.
The Bravo! Chicken & Broccoli AlfredoEntree was absolutely BLAND and the Alfredo lacked flavor. I enjoyed the Rice ball and The delivery was good. But overall, not worth the price. Perhaps it was just this particular entree? IDK, but investing in improving the menu and the cooks instead of a fancy TV marketing might be a good thing
Gave me an attitude when I ordered food by saying, what what. They also messed up on my order. When I outted them they said that is what I asked for. I will never ever go here again. I feel they starred at me up and down for whatever reason. Ew, I would rather take my dallors else where. I am in shock, they did this.allso I got food poiseasoning. Went to city MD and got medication next day. Not cool.
I love their food. Great specialty pizzas such as mac & cheese and chicken vodka. Everything always tastes fresh and like its made with love. Ordering online is always super simple and prompt. They even have their own brand soda which is delicious as well. I do wish they sold wine like a pizza restaurant because I would come here for anniversaries and special occasions instead of some overpriced restaurant, but I could live without that. The food is well worth coming here.
Wow. The pizza is so good! There are so many topping and flavors to choose from. But my favorite is the buffalo chicken. It has a nice spicy taste to it with some onions and a good amount of chicken. The restaurant can get a little bit on the pricy end if you buy certain things but its overall a good place and would recommend going there!
I ordered 3 half trays today: Chicken franchesse, Penne/vodka sauce, Ceasar salad. This food was amazing, my guests were very pleased and asking me where I ordered it from. Simply delicious and hot. Excellent customer service as well, the guy called me when it was ready, Nicely placed in white roomy bags. I will be ordering from them again 🤗 Very happy customer.
If you want decent food and to occasionally (but not often) to get what you ask for, this might be the place. If youre expecting customer service with a smile, try Addeos. If you have any allergies, dietary restrictions, or other special requests that need to be changed, this place is very unaccommodating. Definitely DO NOT order online. If theyre out of anything, dont expect them to call you and verify. Have lived in the neighborhood for 26 years, and every few years I try to give them the benefit of the doubt. They always disappoint. This is Morris Park -- you can go elsewhere for your Italian food.
Food is always great. Service is perfect. Great owner awesome staff. Italian food taste like homemade. Gourmet Pizza. Come in and enjoy the years of tradition here. Before you come look at the brick work. Painted beautifully with vegetables and lively colors. Drive by at night and see how beautiful it looks.
Excellent pizza. You must try the chicken and pesto slice. Its a whole meal on a slice. Place is small, so you are better off ordering out if you live in the area. If not, it is better if you come at off peak times. Either way, you wont be sorry. You will know you are there when you see the art deco building it is located in. Beautiful and cheerie.
Only disappointment, not being allowed to use the restroom. Im a woman of a certain age, needed to use the facility, waiting 30 minutes for my order was putting a huge strain on my bladder. Hope the owner will put that into prospective, some hand sanitizers are toxic/causing burns & rashes. Some of us need to wash our hands & freshen up.
If youre looking for the best kind of pizza in the Bronx this is the best place to go to. I have visited over hundreds of pizza rest restaurants and out of all them theres at least 20 different style pizzas that you can order from here the price of a slice around $5 but the size of the slice and the amount of toppings you put on it could be a meal in itself. Its a clean place and the food is constantly tasting great highly recommended
Best pizza in the bronx. In New York city, for that matter. Do not go here and be boring by ordering a regular slice. Get the chicken vodka, God put it on this earth for a reason! The guys there are always polite and hardworking, and even made my family a fresh pie when they ran out of what we wanted (and it was already pretty late by the time we came in). Their sodas are pretty good too.
If you read the last few reviews you can tell its an ongoing issue. I understand that its a busy time but you lost me as a customer. One customer may not be much to you but im sure that if you keep treating the rest as you did me, there will be plenty more taking their money elsewhere. When you’re placing an order over the phone they speak to you as if you’re wasting their time. Beyond rude and disrespectful! And once in store they’re so dismissive and do not care that they have you waiting around way beyond the time they originally gave you. Ill order from Dominos before coming back here again. Give your employees proper training and if you’re the owner, shame on you!
My familys experience with Emilios Restaurant was exceptional! The service was amazing from calling the restaurant to ask questions about the menu to speaking with the receptionist (taking orders) Gabby to the delivery driver Jose (they said the food was going to be delivered in 1hr and 15 mins, but it was delivered in 40 mins) to speaking with the owner Richie (very professional). Kudos to the Chef Antonio the food was exceptional!! When we received our food it tasted like it just came out of the oven and was placed in front of us as if we were sitting in the restaurant. This is how hot the food was when we received it. We ordered a meatball hero and my uncle said, Excellent meat to cheese ratio. My aunt ordered the shrimp parmigiana with linguine and she said,It was cooked to perfection. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and I felt it was delectably good. My cousin ordered the lemon chicken and garlic bread with cheese. My cousin said, Absolutely delicious, and it leaves a nice taste on my palate. My aunt kept seeing the Emilios commercial on News 12 and decided that we try it out tonight for dinner.. This was the best dinner decision ever!! My family and I are very big on hospitality and it was given to us from the moment we called until the food was placed before us.. We want to thank you so much for your service during this time. Have a great evening and well be definitely be back..
I used Emilios for a corporate lunch for a client of mine. They gave me a great price, delivered on time and everyone loved the food. Richie was a pleasure to work with. They handled every little detail so I did not have to worry about anything. They are now my go to place when I need any type of catering. Also the pizza there is amazing.
I went for curbside pick up and they told me to go inside. Obviously I’m not trying to go inside if I put curbside pick up. Food was trash only to be salvaged by their “self branded” sodas. Mozzarella sticks taste like public school lunch. Wish I could put zero stars but
Emilios is one of those amazing local neighborhood finds which make Morris.Park a neighborhood. You can tell the quality of the food based on the length of the lines, but dont worry, the friendly staff knows the menu , the prices and keep things moving. From pizza, calzones to traditional Italian fare, It is all great. We most recently one of their specials: half tray of penne vodka, chicken marsala, salad, bread, and 2l soda. It was 35 plus tax.It fed four of us easily. The mushrooms were fresh, the chicken tender and the pasta cooked al dente, as one would expect.Sadly, there is no parking and only limited seating. Call ahead or use their app to order. You will not regret it.
Took mom and dad down to the Agency to get our taxes done. So while we were waiting pops got hungry so I took a walk and found Emilios. Great find as the pizza was delicious! Pops who is no push over when it comes to Pizza after working many years making pizza when coming to the U.S. in the 60s gave it his seal of approval. Right amount of sauce, quality cheese, not greasy and the crust is nice and crisp which is everything you look for in a slice. Cant wait to get back down and try some of the other specialty slices!
First time ordering. Young man that answered was actually yawning in my ear and didnt know what sauce came on the broccoli rabe pizza. It was horrible. I guess white sauce pizza meant no sauce pizza.I thought Emilios was known for there white pizza. Will not go back.
The food here is good and always fresh. Theres lots of choices and delicious options at this neighborhood eatery. They have everything from calzones to baked ziti and more. Seating is cramped and floor space is minimal. Also be prepared to spend 💰 money. Most things here are a little bit on the pricey side. Like Manhattan moved to Morris Park Avenue kind of pricey.
Food is great, but Management is cut throat, never honer their own flyers price, jacked up new price, then customers to pay new price, basically greedy for one dollar. Their excuse is he changed the price, but I dont want waste old flyers, so you have to pay new price, bad business practice.
Never had any issues with ordering. With online ordering they call to double check to order is correct, which I think is pretty good on the customer service front. Their timing for orders are pretty spot on too. I ordered something and the ETA was 45 min. I left my apt and came back to the delivery guy ringing my door bell. It was awesome.
I’m very disappointed last night I order from you guys and not only did we wait three hours for our order ok considering what’s going on we called to ask about the order they were rude and disrespectful hung up on my son we called back and still the guy was rude and told my son well it’s finally in its way I can’t believe how rude you guys were and the food was cold on top of that! Ppl want to support small business but not like this and we will never order from them again!
I was so glad that I was able to get delivery from here 2 miles away! Its my first time ordering, got the chicken parm, side of sauted vegetables, and the harvest salad. AND i got so much bread! I love bread lol It was sooo goood. Arrived on time and when i did get a little worried where my order was I called and was assured by a kind voice that it was on its way. Most people on the phone are rude lol but he wasnt. Will be ordering again soon! And hopefully visiting in person :)
Had a chicken parm hero😍Lord help me, it was cheesy super big... Felt guilty eating it. I was super full, you can literally share this meal. The para had the right amount of sauce that didnt overwhelm thr chicken. It was a thick sauce. It truly is a Cheese lovers dream, the cheese was like a blanket. If you arent a fan of cheese, this is covered on it. But I super enjoyed the meal and it was fast.
I have ordered food from Emilios about twice a week, every week for the last year and a half, and never regretted it. This is not a $1 a slice joint. The prices are slightly above average, because of the exceptional quality of all food they serve. I compare Emilios food to restaurants, not pizzerias.
Came here for the first time today out of recommendations from friends in the area. I dont live walking distance from here.I ordered a chicken parm sandwich and a regular cheese pizza. Waited about 15 minutes for the order; that was fine. Took it home and when I opened it they gave me a meatball parm sandwich and vegetable slice. Little sister didnt want the slice and I dont like meatballs. Wasted 15$. HOW HARD IS IT TO GET A CHICKEN PARM AND A REGULAR SLICE. First and last time I visit this place.
Great selection of specialty slices. Long time neighborhood staple. Flavors include but not limited to: chicken Marsala, chicken and tomato, buffalo chicken Ranch, penne ala vodka, award winning White pizza. Dairy free veggie side and Marinara. All the pasta sides, buffalo wings, calzone, beef patties etc. Wonderful beverage selections, no alcohol.
Im sorry but i think two was the most. I was giving a one but the driver was nice. My italian nana told me to order there cause she had she had seen it advertised on news 12 i believe. I ordered two orders of chicken francese. One with cappellini, and the other with penne both with garlic and olive oil. Both came with cappellini. They were both dry and nana couldnt eat her cappellini cause it was to hard for her to chew...Sorry, would had thought it would be better. And for $49.09 my 83yrs old nana money went down the trash. (P.s. dont even ask about the chicken)
Meh is all I can say about this place. $5.75 for a slice of pizza with chicken and vodka sauce is excessive to say the least. I tried a few other slices on other occasions and Im just not impressed. Its not bad pizza, just not all that great. Cestras 3 Pizza in westchester square is a lot better.
25 years ago, working at the AECOM, at the end of my long day, I used to go to Emilios for having a good slice of pizza and it was like being at home. People were always warm and smiling, I enjoyed the atmosfere and the pizza was fantastic. I always remember of them and I plan to get back there next time in NY!!!!!!!!
Horrible super expensive, first they gave me the wrong salad then they take my old one back to probably give it to someone else because there money hungry then they left my chicken in a batch of oil, gave me a stomach and had the runs the whole night. $12 dollars for a small salad, you would think they were working in the city. NEVER AGAIN!!!! (Plus there was only chicken, lettuce and 5 pieces of crotons)
A find in Morris Park. Complaints about five bucks for a fine slice are strange since this Italain neighborhood is loaded with very ordinary but inexpensive pizza joints. This is very good pizza (like the eggplant & ricotta mmmmmm), but for Gods sake there are so many Italian delight options. The pasta fjewel (as we call it) comes with a big chunk of home made bread and is excellent.

2022-07-02Chicken Francese Slice is really good along with Al Vodka slice. The Sausgae Roll was great, sliced thin meat.

2022-05-29More hype than anything. For starters the place is tiny and has barely any room for the customers. I ordered the infamous vodka slice and it truly is nothing to call home about. The crust was literally the best part. The chicken tastes unseasoned and the vodka sauce is bland AF. They also drench the slice in sauce it was so unappealing I had to get rid of it after just 2 bites. The customer service needs work as well. The guy I got was a bit rude and seemed annoyed by my presence. Lastly the pizza is over priced. I spent 19.50 on that slice and canned soda. Never again.

2022-06-09Still waiting for that phone call . My experience going there on a Sunday was horrible !!! I ordered a garden wrap I got a Cesar wrap . I got a garden salad with chicken and they put a pound of lettuce with a handful of crotons and one small piece of chicken the whole order was 56$ I called the manager said the owner takes care of compliments I called twice and nothing . The men are miserable there they don’t care for customer service and I won’t ever go there again ! This was my favorite place to go to on Sundays to get away from my kitchen and this is what I receive so sad needless to say I won’t ever spend my hard earn money there again . Don’t bother !! The men also think it’s funny when u have complaints … Emilio’s isn’t what it use to be

2022-06-29Pizza was good but $13 for two specialty slices. The chode at the counter never asked if I wanted my slice to stay or to go but I figured it’s because I was in my scrubs. Then he yells at the top of his lungs for me to come get my order. 👎🏾👎🏾 Still stayed and enjoyed my food. 💁🏾♀️

2022-02-25A couple of months ago I had a horrible experience with Emilios because there was a hair in my food. Instead of giving me a refund they offered to give me store credit so next time I ordered it would be free. I was mad but I took the store credit anyway. Today I decided to order and when I called and placed my order they did not even mention a price so of course I assumed that they were using my store credit. They called me down to pick up my food and hand it to me and I start to leave and the delivery man demands payment. I waited as he called the store and they refuse to give me the pizza I was promised they took it back and left. So not only was I lied too but now I am not even sure this place is the place to go. Definitely will not be recommending to friends in fact I will recommend they simply avoid coming here and avoid a bad experience.

2022-05-31A family member ordered a pizza and hero. The pizza was too tough and not able to chew. Called to inform them of the situation. The man who answered was quiet rude and attempted to deflect the issue back on us. His respinse was maybe you ordered it crispy. No sir, your pizza is inedible. He requested we send the pizza back in order to receive another. This is extremely unhygienic and a violation of health codes. When I asked the driver what happens to that pizza he stated he did not know. I will NEVER allow another person to order here. Not worth the trouble for subpar food and rude arrogant employees. I will go back to the best---- JOHN & JOES!!!

2022-02-10My family and I love this place been ordering from them for years now. Food is definitely always fresh it taste so good. The workers are definitely so so you can find maybe 2 or 3 that are very nice but the rest just stare at you and make you feel uncomfortable while talking to others and it seems as if they are talking about you. Thats one issue I have and the second issue I have is that the prices are kinda ridiculous for some things I ordered 3 rolls and 2 slices of pizza and 1 order of garlic knots it came to damn near $65 smh and when it came time for me to pay I wasnt informed that if you pay with a credit or debit card they charge u an extra $2.25 or $2.55 fee they dont even have a sign up that says that which they should because I seen alot of people paying with card payments.

2022-06-16This place is definitely over- rated. The food is average but the prices are not! Way above the worth - it doesn’t make sense. There are so many places near by with BETTER FOOD and BETTER PRICES. Their customer service is bad too. I won’t recommend this place at all !

2022-05-26Always late. Never fails. They do not care for the customer especially for regular local customers. Going to take buisness elsewhere and recommend other pizzerias.

2022-07-05Rude workers and specially the owner thinking he has the best pizza. It’s very pricey for everything they got . If you not there kind they won’t treat u right
